University Won't Refund Tuition After Dismissing Students for Not Social Distancing

Everyone knows college is a scam nowadays, but students at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts are really getting swindled.

Eleven first-year students at Northeastern University who were recently dismissed for violating social distancing rules will not receive a refund on their $36,500-semester tuition, the Boston Globe reported. If the university had to refund every student who wasn't going to learn anything, how would they ever stay afloat?

(Via The Hill)

The students were found at the Westin Hotel on Wednesday evening not wearing face coverings and flouting social distancing protocols, university spokeswoman Renata Nyul told the Globe.

They will not be permitted to take classes online this fall but will be allowed to return in the spring.

The students were part of a one-semester program for freshmen that was purchased in advance for $36,500, and their tuition will not be refunded.

Northeastern said students who were dismissed would have the right to contest their dismissals at an expedited hearing. ...

The university said students were reminded on multiple occasions this week to follow pandemic protocols and were required to acknowledge reviewing the student handbook, which listed all of the required procedures.

Of course, the real shocking news is that parents are coughing up $36,500 a semester for a college education these days. Surely we can find Marxist professors who are willing to indoctrinate students for cheaper.

Star Parker: Protesters Have Adopted KKK Tactics, Setting Up 'Landslide' Win for Trump

Confrontational leftist demonstrators are going to help President Donald Trump win in a “landslide” in November, Center for Urban Renewal and Education founder Star Parker told Fox News over the weekend.

Parker, a conservative columnist and former House of Representatives candidate, was confident in the president’s chances when she spoke with “Fox & Friends Weekend” — but she also castigated the left for trying to “destabilize our society” by portraying America’s foundations as “evil.”

“I think they’re setting up Donald Trump for a landslide,” she said.

Outrage After University Suspends 11 Students For "Party" But Keeps $36,500 Tuition

It's been no secret that only a couple weeks into the start of the fall semester, colleges across the US are struggling to keep COVID-19 numbers down, with some schools already reporting hundreds of confirmed cases, and others quickly shutting down in-person classes a mere days after starting back up, when numbers merely reached 130 infected, as recently happened with University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

Schools have imposed strict measures while threatening severe punishments for hosting or even attending parties on or off campus, as they're considered potential "super spreader" events. In some instances schools are actually threatening expulsion. But there's rising tensions given students are complaining their high price tag college experiences are turning into "isolation prisons" - as we detailed earlier, yet schools in many cases are collecting full tuition and fees.

But now one major university is driving headlines after making good on its 'max punishment' threat, and all the while pocketing students' full tuition after they were accused of "violating social distancing protocols".

Joe Biden's Campaign Is Targeting Children with New 'Animal Crossing' Campaign Ad

In today’s America, left-wing politics have infected everything.

Sports, movies, television shows; there isn’t any pastime left for Americans to enjoy without the constant reminder that they’re a horrible person unless they vote for former Vice President Joe Biden in November.

Not even children’s games are safe anymore.

On Sept. 1, the Biden campaign announced its partnership with “Animal Crossing: New Horizons,” a popular video game that, though played by teens and adults too, is geared largely toward children.

Players will now be able to choose from a series of campaign logos that can be used in the game to decorate the yards of their virtual homes and more, according to MarketWatch.

Kenosha Prosecutor Proves Kyle Rittenhouse's Case

I downloaded and read the charges filed against Kyle Rittenhouse by Kenosha assistant district attorney Angelina Gabriele. If I were on the jury and read only the D.A.'s side of the story, I would acquit Rittenhouse for the most serious charges without even listening to his side. The only one that looks to me as if it could have merit is "possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18," which is a misdemeanor.

Let's start with Rittenhouse's first assailant, Joseph D. Rosenbaum. If this is Joseph Don Rosenbaum from Arizona, he served prison time, which is usually consistent with a felony conviction. I was unable to confirm from AZ or WI records that he was a sexual offender, as some have claimed. The following is not Rittenhouse's side of the story as told by himself or his attorney; it is the prosecutor's side of the story. The "probable cause" portion of the document says (I am copying from an OCR transcription of the original PDF document so the accuracy might not be 100%, and emphasis is mine):

Following the defendant is Rosenbaum ... The video shows that as they cross the parking lot, Rosenbaum appears to throw an object at the defendant. The object does not hit the defendant and a second video shows, based on where the object landed, that it was a plastic bag.

Trump says troops love him even if Pentagon brass doesn't

President Trump said Monday that he has the support of U.S. troops, if not necessarily their bosses in the Pentagon.

“I'm not saying the military is in love with me, the soldiers are," Trump said at a Labor Day press conference.

"The top people in the Pentagon probably aren't," the commander in chief continued, "because they want to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies — that make the bombs, and make the planes, and make everything else — stay happy. But we're getting out of the endless wars."

Data: 48 of America’s 50 Largest Cities Hit By Black Lives Matter Riots

New data from Princeton University show that riots associated with the Black Lives Matter movement took place in 48 out of the 50 largest cities in the United States.

The study found:

In more than 93% of all demonstrations connected to the movement, demonstrators have not engaged in violence or destructive activity. Peaceful protests are reported in over 2,400 distinct locations around the country. Violent demonstrations, meanwhile, have been limited to fewer than 220 locations — under 10% of the areas that experienced peaceful protests.

Mainstream media seized on the data last week to argue that the “Trump narrative” of violent demonstrations was false. The study itself speculated that public perceptions of riots were skewed by “political orientation and biased media framing” and “disproportionate coverage of violent demonstrations.”

President Trump calls Joe Biden 'stupid' after Biden criticizes his response to the coronavirus pandemic

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican President Donald Trump, accused by Joe Biden of putting lives at risk in his handling of the coronavirus, on Monday called his Democratic rival "stupid" and demanded an apology for what Trump called anti-vaccine rhetoric.

Speaking in front of the White House at a U.S. Labor Day news conference, Trump said: "Biden and his very liberal running mate, the most liberal person in Congress by the way - is not a competent person in my opinion, would destroy this country and would destroy this economy - should immediately apologize for the reckless anti-vaccine rhetoric that they are talking right now," adding: "It undermines science."

The president called Biden "stupid."

Trump Vows to Defund California Schools Pushing Revisionist History from 1619 Project

President Donald Trump said Sunday that the Department of Education (DOE) is investigating California public schools including the 1619 Project — a radical revisionist history plan promoted by the New York Times which claims the United States was founded in 1619 when the first slaves arrived in Virginia — in their curricula.

“Department of Education is looking at this. If so, they will not be funded!” Trump tweeted.

Sen. Tom Cotton, (R-AR), introduced a bill in July that would have addressed schools’ use of the 1619 project in a similar manner to that Trump proposed, Fox News reported. “That bill proposed denying funds to any school that uses the 1619 Project in its curriculum.”

In a statement, Cotton called the 1619 project “a racially divisive, revisionist account of history that denies the noble principles of freedom and equality on which our nation was founded.”

Evicted state Senate hopeful charged with breaking into her old home, Georgia cops say

A Georgia state Senate candidate was arrested Friday after authorities say she broke into her old home after being evicted.

Linda Pritchett, who’s running to represent Georgia’s 39th District, is accused of breaking and entering at her former residence before moving her belongings back in, WSB-TV reported, citing City of South Fulton police.

The Senate hopeful was booked on two counts of first-degree burglary and two counts of criminal damage to property, online jail records show. Pritchett is also charged with willful obstruction of law enforcement.

The reason for her eviction is unclear, but Pritchett told police she felt the eviction was “improper,” according to WSB-TV.

News of Pritchett’s arrest sparked demands for transparency from constituents, some of whom said they have doubts about her ability to lead, according to comments posted to her Facebook page.

“I’ve been transparent in this situation,” Pritchett responded to one critic. “The problem has been that because this involves me politically many involved have chosen to disregard pertinent facts and draw conclusions based on their biased opinions.”

Kenosha County: Donald Trump Brought Help, Joe Biden Visit Was ‘Waste of Time’

A member of the Kenosha County Board of Supervisors told The Kyle Olson Show that President Trump brought help with him to the community this week, while Joe Biden just talked.

Supervisor Amy Maurer, and several other supervisors, wrote Trump a letter asking him not to cancel his visit to the area, despite demands by Gov. Tony Evers (D) and the NAACP.

“I don’t care who comes as long as they bring help,” she said.

NEVER FORGET: Families Blame ‘Loose Lips Joe Biden’ After Taliban Slaughters 16 Members of SEAL Team 6 in Afghanistan (VIDEO)

The liberal mainstream media said NOTHING back in 2011 when loose-lips Joe Biden outed SEAL Team 6 as the heroes of the Osama Bin Laden raid in Pakistan.

16 members of SEAL Team 6 were slaughtered by the Taliban in an attack soon after Biden’s gaffe.

On August 6, 2011, 30 US service members were killed when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter they were being transported in crashed in Wardak province, Afghanistan. It was the deadliest single loss for U.S. forces in the decade-long war in Afghanistan. 17 members of the elite Navy SEALs were killed in the crash.

Jayvon Hatchett, 19, was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime after stabbing a random AutoZone employee in late August. Following his arrest, he was placed in the Muscogee County Jail.

On Saturday, Hatchett murdered his white cell mate at the county jail, 39-year-old Eddie Nelson Jr.

Democrats and Never-Trumpers Make Plans for November Coup if/When President Trump Wins Election

The rolling coup has not stopped or slowed down since President Donald Trump won the 2016 election decisively over Democrat Hillary Clinton.

First there was Obama spying on Trump, Obama sabotaging Transition period, Deep State record attacks and leaks on the sitting president, the Russia collusion scam (still pushed by Democrats and their willing stooges in the media), the Ukrainian faux impeachment, the coronavirus attacks, and mail-in voting.

Trump stands with the American people – His enemies stand with the globalists, foreign regimes and international Marxists.

Patriotic Americans must realize this is NOT normal political behavior. This is the rolling coup.

And already Democrats are making plans to remove President Trump when he wins big in November.

Senate Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer posted this tweet this Labor Day weekend.

Trump Says Schools Teaching NY Times' 1619 Project "Will Not Be Funded"

President Donald Trump on Sunday warned the Department of Education is investigating the use of the New York Times’ “1619 Project” in schools, saying that institutions that use the alternative narrative of U.S. history could lose federal funding.

The “1619 Project,” created by Nikole Hannah-Jones and widely panned by historians and political scientists, attempts to cast the Atlantic slave trade as the dominant factor in the founding of America instead of ideals such as individual liberty and natural rights. Some critics have said that it is an attempt to rewrite U.S. history through a left-wing lens. Some historians have criticized the project over inaccuracies such as the American Revolution having been fought to preserve the institution of slavery rather than for seeking independence from Britain.

“Department of Education is looking at this. If so, they will not be funded!” Trump wrote on Twitter Sunday, responding to a post that said California has “implemented the 1619 project into the public schools,” and that “soon you won’t recognize [A]merica.” California’s Department of Education came up with a draft model last month to include some of the project in history classes.

It echoes the sentiment of a bill that was proposed by Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) introduced in July that proposes denying funds to a school that uses the 1619 Project. Schools in places like Washington D.C. and Chicago have modified their curriculum for the project.

Controversy erupted earlier this year when a professor at Northwestern University who helped fact-check the project said that she alerted Hannah-Jones about inaccuracies contained in the project but got no response.

“On August 19 of last year I listened in stunned silence as Nikole Hannah-Jones, a reporter for the New York Times, repeated an idea that I had vigorously argued against,” wrote professor Leslie Harris in Politico.

Trump rips Laurene Powell Jobs in latest attack on The Atlantic

President Trump on Sunday suggested Apple founder Steve Jobs would be unhappy with his widow for “wasting money” on The Atlantic, the magazine that published claims the commander-in-chief disparaged military members.

“Steve Jobs would not be happy that his wife is wasting money he left her on a failing Radical Left Magazine that is run by a con man (Goldberg) and spews FAKE NEWS & HATE,” the president wrote on Twitter, referring to Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor of the publication who penned the article. “Call her, write her, let her know how you feel!!!”

Laurene Powell Jobs owns a majority stake in the publication.

“The widow of Steve Jobs – Laurene Powell Jobs donated at least $500,000 to Joe Biden’s campaign this year. Do you know who owns a majority stake in The Atlantic? Laurene Powell Jobs,” Kirk said in the posting.

Goldwater challenged the seizure, and McBride got his $15,000 Jeep back Friday without having to pay to release it from forfeiture.

Biden's 'mental acuity' has diminished in the last 4 years, ex-WH stenographer says: 'He's lost a step'

Joe Biden’s former White House stenographer said the vice president’s public speaking ability has deteriorated significantly since leaving office to the point where he’s "not the same Joe Biden."

"It is a complete difference from what he was in 2017," Mike McCormick, who worked as a White House stenographer for 15 years and with Biden from 2011 to 2017, told the Washington Free Beacon in an interview. "He’s lost a step and he doesn’t seem to have the same mental acuity as he did four years ago."

"He doesn’t have the energy, he doesn’t have the pace of his speaking," McCormick said. "He’s a different guy."

McCormick’s recent book Joe Biden Unauthorized recounts his time working with Biden and takes a critical look at the former vice president, including the time he says Biden was "humiliated" by Russia's Vladimir Putin in 2011.

More than a dozen women showed up outside Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco home with curlers in their hair and hung blow dryers in the trees outside to show their outrage over the House speaker’s visit to a salon as shops across the city and state were shut down because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“What she has done is a slap [in] the face of not just a salon owner but every woman, every man, every person who’s unemployed in the state of California who has lost their jobs and lost their livelihoods, many of whom are my friends,”

Family behind "gender reveal" party that sparked California wildfire could owe millions

The family behind the gender reveal party that sparked a California wildfire could be hit with charges — and a massive bill to cover the costs of putting out the blazes, authorities said.

Cal Fire spokesman Bennet Milloy said the group could be on the hook for millions to cover the hundreds of firefighters, helicopters and planes employed to tackle the El Dorado Fire, the Daily Mail reported.

They also could face a “variety of charges,” including arson, which carries a sentence of up to nine years, Milloy said.

The family stayed on the scene after using a smoke-generating pyrotechnic device that ignited the wildfire, which had torched over 7,000 acres (11 square miles) near El Dorado Ranch Park as of late Sunday.

The devices are often used at such gatherings to spew pink or blue smoke to reveal the gender of the baby.

San Francisco Mayor Calls Trump a 'Terrorist' in Plea To 'Move On' from Pelosi Salon Scandal

The problem is not that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi flouted the rules by visiting a San Francisco salon, it is that President Donald Trump is a “terrorist,” according to San Francisco Mayor London Breed.

“We have a terrorist, we have a dictator who is running this country and Nancy Pelosi is at the forefront fighting against this person every day, you know,” Breed said Friday, according to KGO-TV.

“I’m not trying to excuse what happened. I’m just saying that to allow an issue like this to turn our city upside-down when we got folks who are homeless, we’ve got people who can’t open their business, including these salons, I understand,” the mayor, a Democrat, said.

Man plans to buy home with proceeds from 28 bottles of birthday whiskey

A man in England is planning to purchase a home using money from the sale of 28 bottles of whiskey his father gifted to him each year for his birthday.
The collection of Macallan single malt obtained by Matthew Robson, of Taunton, is worth about $53,000, BBC reported. Robson’s father, Pete, had forked over about $6,500 for the booze.
“Each year I received it as a birthday present,” Robson told the outlet. “I thought it was quite a quirky little present as I was slightly too young to start drinking.”
He continued: “But I was under strict instructions, never, never to open them and I tried my hardest and succeeded and they’re all intact.”

Brooklyn couple hauled off NYC ferry in handcuffs after refusing to wear masks

A Brooklyn couple was cuffed and hauled off a city ferry Saturday night after refusing to wear face masks — as other riders cheered their arrest, according to cops and video.

The middle-aged Bay Ridge pair spent 15 minutes on the NYC Ferry boat’s top deck arguing with workers over the captain’s order to put on a mask amid the pandemic when the vessel docked at Brooklyn Bridge Park around 8 p.m., Gothamist said, posting video of the encounter.

The angry couple — claiming they were being discriminated against because they are white — then went back and forth with two responding NYPD officers for another 45 minutes, while other riders shouted for them to get the boot so the ferry could continue on its way. There were 90 people aboard the vessel at the time, a source told The Post.

“If we were f–king black, I can guarantee you that guy would never come out and tell us put a mask on.”

Her husband, who only gave his first name, David, added, “Right, because Black Lives Matter.’’

Pollak: The Atlantic Hit Piece Is a Hint of Democrats’ Orwellian Future

The Atlantic hit piece on President Donald Trump last week used four anonymous sources to allege that he had disparaged dead World War I soldiers two years ago. Fox News reporter Jennifer Griffin then claimed to have “confirmed” parts of the story — though not its main allegation — based on two anonymous sources.

The entire story failed to meet basic journalistic standards. But it is a sign of things to come — particularly if Democrats win in November, which is the Atlantic‘s goal.

Two, or even four, anonymous sources can be used to claim absolutely anything. The Atlantic described them as “four people with firsthand knowledge of the discussion that day.”

Notably, we are not told that they personally heard Trump say what the Atlantic alleges he said — they just have “knowledge of the discussion.” Someone who has “knowledge” of a discussion is a second-hand source, or worse. The point is there is no way to know if the sources are credible, or if the story is just made up.

It turns out that we do actually have some very good historical sources that dispute the Atlantic story. These include the 11 eyewitnesses who have gone on the record to deny the president said what the Atlanticalleged, but they also include other sources.

“I Think We’re All Set” – Kamala Harris’s Handlers Shoo Away Reporters After Wisconsin Event Wraps Up

Biden’s running mate Kamala Harris traveled to Kenosha, Wisconsin on Monday and met with Jacob Blake’s family and legal team.Kamala

Harris said she was proud of Jacob Blake, a man who had previously broken into a woman’s home, sexually assaulted her while she was in bed with one of her children and stole her car.
Kamala Harris took a couple softball questions about her meeting with Jacob Blake from media sycophants on Monday.

However she didn’t take any questions from reporters after her Wisconsin event wrapped up.

“I think we’re all set!” Kamala Harris handlers screamed as they shooed media away. “We’re gonna head out the same way we came.”

US Ambassador To France Denies Atlantic Story, Says Trump 'Has Never Denigrated Any Member Of US Military'

Breitbart is out with another exclusive from people who were close to the President when The Atlantic claims he called military veterans "losers" and "suckers."

This time, US Ambassador to France, Monaco Jamie McCourt, told the outlet that the Atlantic story is bullshit.

Ambassador McCourt was there the day President Trump’s team called off the trip to the cemetery at Belleau Wood because of inclement weather. She is the latest U.S. official who was actually present at the event to publicly deny the Atlantic’s account of events, which is based entirely on anonymous sources. -Breitbart

"Needless to say, I never spoke to the Atlantic, and I can’t imagine who would," said McCourt. "In my presence, POTUS has NEVER denigrated any member of the U.S. military or anyone in service to our country. And he certainly did not that day, either.Let me add, he was devastated to not be able to go to the cemetery at Belleau Wood. In fact, the next day, he attended and spoke at the ceremony in Suresnes in the pouring rain."

It's amazing how fast The Atlantic's anonymously-sourced hit-piece is unraveling. Almost as amazing as how questionable it is that a magazine owned by Steve Jobs' ex wife - a Biden megadonor - would float the claim in the first place.

A top aid to former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly has become the latest former Trump administration official to deny The Atlantic's hit-piece claiming President Trump called soldiers 'losers' and 'suckers.'

Lindsey Graham Blasts Navy for Canceling Catholic Services at San Diego Bases

The U.S. Navy has reportedly ended Catholic church services on San Diego-area bases for cost purposes, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune.
The Navy declined to renew contracts with priests who were contracted to assist the Chaplain Corps, a small active-duty unit containing few Catholic clergy members. The new changes are from a national realignment announced in August.
“The Navy’s religious ministries priority is reaching and ministering to our largest demographic — active duty Sailors and Marines in the 18-25 year-old range,” Navy spokesman Brian O’Rourke said in an email, according to The Union-Tribune.
Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina blasted the decision with nine pithy words: “[W]e need to look at canceling Admirals, not priests.”
The admiral said the services are ending on the bases where they are also accessible nearby.
Catholic services on ships and overseas bases will be ongoing, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune.

Nolte: Ilhan Omar Calls Riots ‘Uprising over Centuries of Racial Neglect and Oppression’

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) released a video Sunday that described more than three months of riots as an “uprising over centuries of racial neglect and oppression.”

Yes, there’s so much racial oppression and neglect in America, a Muslim immigrant from Somalia can be elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in a state called Minnesota.

“As we speak, we are in the midst of an ongoing uprising over centuries of racial neglect and oppression,” she said while collecting a six-figure salary from a position of enormous power and influence granted to her by a Midwestern state.

“We can’t talk about the protests in Minneapolis or Kenosha … without first looking inward,” she continued.

Then she just started lying…

“We maintain a system that binds millions to desperate poverty, a system that doesn’t provide the most basic necessities, like food, shelter, and medicines,” she added.

“Whether they are brutalized by police, by austerity economics, or by politicians who simply do not care about us, our nation is crying out desperately for change. We need to fundamentally change the way our society treats its most vulnerable because this has gone [on] long enough.”

You know what? Let’s give her some credit for calling this three-plus month terror campaign at the hands of the terrorists in Black Lives Matter and Antifa what it is — an uprising.

Man charged with series of assaults on Northern Virginia trails

A man has been arrested and accused of being the bicyclist who has assaulted people on various trails around Northern Virginia last month.

David Marlowe, 55, of Arlington, is facing numerous charges, including assault and battery, indecent exposure and felony possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. He was arrested at home on Sunday and is being held without bond at the Arlington County Detention Facility.

The Arlington County police have said the incidents happened between Aug. 11 and Aug. 29 on trails that are popular with cyclists and pedestrians, including Four Mile Run, the W&OD Trail and the Custis Trail.

In one incident on Four Mile Run, Marlowe is accused of approaching several people and yelling to stay on the right side of the yellow line. When the male victim yelled back, the cyclist approached and circled the victims on his bicycle before pulling down his shorts and exposing his rear end.

In another incident, a walker was hit with a bike; in another, a jogger was struck in the back of the neck.

The marijuana charges come as a result of a search at Marlowe’s home, the police said.

Denver Black Lives Matter Mobs Swarming Restaurants, Harassing Diners With Their Tantrums… AGAIN (VIDEO)

Black Lives Matter mob is roaming through Denver and harassing restaurant patrons.

Black Lives Matter has becoming increasingly less focused on protesting police, and more interested in harassing the general public.

Approximately 75 rioters also entered Union Station to scream at people who were dining and having drinks.

Local reporter Marc Sallinger wrote on Twitter that the “group is moving out from Larimer Square now. Some people got into some small yelling confrontations with people eating dinner at restaurants outside, yelling asking them if they support BLM. Larimer St is filled with expensive restaurants which all have tables outside now”
