Marine Homecoming | Santa Surprise | Stafford County Public Schools

The first 11 minutes Santa reads the children a story. Skip past that if you want to just see the homecoming.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A Virginia boy was ecstatic to have Santa Claus reading a story to his class at Widewater Elementary School last week, but his excitement only increased when he learned that the jolly, bearded figure was actually his dad, home early from a deployment.

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Marine Staff Sgt. David Rescott had been deployed to Kuwait since Easter.

Jackson Rescott, 6, had been telling his teacher and his mother that he wanted to see his dad for Christmas, even though he wasn’t scheduled to return until January.

Russian Hacker Story: Not Working

POLL SHOWS PUBLIC ISN’T BUYING THE LEFT’S NEW NARRATIVE …

The exhumation of Joseph McCarthy-style scare tactics aren’t scaring the vast majority of Americans.

But will they scare the electors who represent them?

According to a new Fox News poll, 59 percent of Americans said that “Russia’s attempts to influence the presidential election” had no impact whatsoever on the 2016 race.

Meanwhile, thirty-two percent of respondents (a.k.a. Democrats) said the alleged Russian interference helped U.S. president-elect Donald Trump. Finally, one percent of respondents said the alleged interference benefited Democratic presidential nomineeHillary Clinton.

First of all, we have yet to see any evidence that Russia “hacked the election.” We’ve seen plenty of evidence to suggest that leading Democrats are idiotic and corrupt (andhypocritical), but despite all the leftist hyperventilation and hyperbole – there’s been no documentation of this seismic claim.

SC Lawmaker Proposes “Porn Fee”

GOD COPS MOVE THEIR BATTLE ONLINE …

Anyone wishing to access online pornography in South Carolina would be required to pay a $20 fee – for every electronic device they own. That’s according to legislation proposed by S.C. Rep. Bill Chumley, who believes pornography to be “a public health hazard, leading to a broad spectrum of well documented individual impacts and societal harm.”

Chumley’s bill – H. 3003 – would require consumers in the Palmetto State to verify their age and pay the $20 fee in order to remove pre-installed “obscene content” filters from their computers and personal electronic devices.

Meanwhile, manufacturers looking to produce computers and personal electronic devices without the filters would also have to pay $20 – per device.

Chumley’s law would also hold manufacturers’ liable in the event obscene content “breached” these filters – with fines of up to $500 assessed “for each piece of content that was reported but not subsequently blocked.”

Bus driver buys hats and gloves for children in need on his route

Bus driver John Lunceford was making his usual morning rounds on Thursday when he spotted a young boy shivering at the bus stop ahead.

As he opened the door, he could see tears in the boy’s eyes. He looked down at his red hands and ears. It was freezing outside.

So, Luceford did what any caring adult would do: he gave him gloves.

“I put my gloves on him and told him it’ll be okay, it’ll be okay,” says Lunceford, according to a statement released by the Kennewick School District in Washington.

The man, a U.S. Army veteran in his third year driving buses for the district, couldn’t shake the image of the shivering student. So, after dropping his students off at school, he headed straight to the dollar store.

Middle Eastern Christians Facing 'Tragedy': Church

JERUSALEM (AFP) – A leading church figure in the Middle East said Monday Christians across the region were facing a “tragedy,” and accused the international community of failing to act.

“The situation of Christians, especially in Syria and Iraq, is a tragedy,” said Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa, apostolic administrator of the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, in a press conference ahead of the Christmas holidays.

The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem heads the Roman Catholic Church in the Holy Land.

He said up to two-thirds of Christians have left in those two countries, citing in particular Aleppo — the previously mixed city in northern Syria which has been devastated by more than five years of civil war.

“In Aleppo, before the war there were 300,000 (Christians),” he said.

“Now it is about 50,000 maximum.”

He accused world governments of failing to act to help stabilise the region, instead resorting to “slogans.”

“The international community now limit themselves to slogans and some economical support. Nothing more than that — it is very weak.”

Allen West demands pardon for soldier

Dear Fellow Patriot,

As a combat veteran, I'm asking you to sign the PRESIDENTIAL PARDON PETITION FOR ARMY LT. CLINT LORANCEright away because right now President Obama is allowing an innocent U.S. soldier to sit in prison for protecting the men under his command in Afghanistan.

In July, 2012, Lt. Clint Lorance was sent to Afghanistan to replace a platoon leader who was seriously wounded in a Taliban attack. On his third day on the job, Clint and his men were on patrol when a U.S. helicopter radioed that a motorcycle was sitting outside of the village near a road only used by the Taliban. When the motorcycle started gunning toward the platoon, Lt. Lorance ordered his marksman to fire.

Two of the riders were killed. The other was captured in the village, where days earlier a U.S. soldier was shot in the neck.

Those of us who have been stationed in Afghanistan know the tactics and actions of the enemy.

Without a doubt, these men posed a threat to Clint's platoon. And as the commanding officer, Clint knew he was responsible for getting every single one of his soldiers back to base alive.

Yet our own government didn't agree. Lt. Lorance was convicted of murder and sentenced to 20 years at the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth.

Now you know why I'm asking you to follow this link to sign the PRESIDENTIAL PARDON PETITION right away.

You see, it is customary for U.S. Presidents to grant high-profile pardons just before leaving office. And with just over a month left in Obama's term, now is the time to start putting massive pressure on the White House.

In fact, Lt. Lorance's legal team has already hand-delivered an official request for a Presidential Pardon to the White House. Now you and I must do our part.

Will you follow this link to sign the PRESIDENTIAL PARDON PETITION right now?

You and I both know that petitioning a president as anti-military as Obama is a last resort. In fact, while our government lets Clint rot in a prison cell, President Obama has been:
  • Releasing the terrorists at Gitmo...
  • Demanding that your tax dollars fund "sex hormone therapy" for U.S. Army PFC Bradley Manning, who leaked classified documents and endangered our national security...
  • And gutting our military from the inside out, dismissing anyone who disagrees or dares to speak out and weakening our ability to respond to threats.
But our campaign will force Obama to either pardon Clint ... or publicly acknowledge that he's allowing an innocent American soldier to sit behind bars for protecting his men from a Taliban attack.

My friend, Clint Lorance signed up to serve his country and risked his life on the battlefield to protect your freedom. When his men were threatened, he did exactly what our military trained him to do.

As a combat veteran with 22 years of service, I can't turn my back on this young soldier. And I hope you won't either.

That's why I'm writing you this letter on behalf of the United American Patriots (UAP), an organization founded by another combat veteran who knows just like I do that you can't second-guess our young men for their split-second actions behind enemy lines.

UAP provides legal defenses for soldiers like Clint who have been unfairly accused of crimes for their actions in deadly combat zones. In fact, they're assisting 6 other wrongly accused soldiers who are sitting behind bars at Fort Leavenworth, in addition to funding 3 separate efforts to free Clint – an appeal, a motion for mistrial and of course this Presidential Pardon campaign.

But as a non-profit organization, UAP doesn't receive a dime of federal funding. Instead, they depend on the big hearts of American patriots like you who support them and their mission.

UAP has calculated the cost of filing all the paperwork for Clint's official pardon request and this Petition campaign to be more than $385,000. But I don't think you can put a price tag on this young man's freedom!

I'm not asking you to write a check for $385,000. But I am asking you to make a tax-deductible gift of $31 after you sign the Petition.

Every penny raised will support UAP's efforts to collect millions of Petitions on Clint's behalf – and cover the legal fees for other innocent soldiers – so if you are in the position to send a larger tax-deductible gift in the amount of $50, $100, $500 or more, I pray you will.

Lt. Clint Lorance served our country honorably and courageously for 10 years. He does not deserve to be treated as a cold-blooded murderer for doing his job.

Will you take just 30 seconds right now to fight for Lt. Lorance's freedom by signing the PRESIDENTIAL PARDON FOR ARMY LT. CLINT LORANCE and make your best tax-deductible contribution of $31 or more.

On behalf of Lt. Lorance and his family, his legal team and UAP, thank you in advance for your support.

Steadfast and loyal,

LTC(R) Allen West
Congressman (2011-2013)

P.S. If you agree that it's time to send this innocent American soldier home to his family, please sign the PRESIDENTIAL PARDON FOR ARMY LT. CLINT LORANCE right away and make your best tax-deductible donation of $31 or more to United American Patriots.

US Budget Deficit TRIPLES to $137 Billion In November

The U.S. government spent $136.65 billion more than it took in last month, according to the Treasury Department.

November’s increase in the budget deficit was largely due to a quirk in the calendar, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Government data shows the federal deficit in November was more than three times what it was in October. In October, the federal government’s budget deficit was $44.19 billion.

The federal monthly deficit is more than twice the $64.55 billion deficit for November 2015. Federal spending rose 25 percent above November 2015 levels “when some scheduled benefit payments had been recorded instead in October 2015 because Nov. 1 fell on a Sunday,” WSJ reports.

A Viewer Writes: Police Department Web Sites

Have you noticed the web sites for local PD's

None of them seem to keep up to date, and designs on each are pretty poor, there are a few that are not too bad. If information is to find, not all are easy to navigte

1. http://princessannepolice.com - not to bad, actually updated regularly

2. http://www.wicomicosheriff.com - One of the better ones, little easier to get around

3. http://www.salisburypd.com - pretty cheesy for having their own IT person

5. https://www.delmarpolice.com/ - as small as Delmar is, still better than SPD

6. Crisfield - doesnt have one

7. http://oceancitymd.gov/oc/departments/police/ They put some time work in this, looks great

9. http://www.berlinmdpd.org/ Words cant express how bad

Police departments could add so much by helping residence out with information - You should take time look at some of these, list them and get opinions from others. PD's should not be using Social Media to reach people.

My 8-year-old son asked me if Santa Claus is real. Here’s what I told him

In December last year I caught a nasty virus that rendered me completely mute for weeks, unable to squeak out a sound.

I carried a pad of paper with me everywhere, scrawling out requests and answers and the occasional wry comment until one day a week before Christmas my almost 8-year-old son came home with the worst playground news ever and the innocence-busting moment parents dread: Is there a Santa?

Not since the flu vaccine have I been so grateful for a virus, pointing to my throat, the universal sign for “I can’t talk.” I wrote something on my pad about “Santa spirit=Love=We give gifts,” which is exactly as inadequate as it sounds.

After I got over the impulse to be That Parent who goes crazy on the playground truth-teller, I sat down at my computer to write my answer. The time allowed provided thinking space that an immediate answer wouldn’t have, and here is what I wrote for him:

Articles: Watching the Fakestream Break Down

I never thought I'd see the day when U.S. political elites went stark raving mad. But this is what Hillary Clinton told her big money donors recently.

HILLARY: Vladimir Putin himself directed the covert cyber-attacks against our electoral system, against our democracy, apparently because he has a personal beef against me. Putin publicly blamed me for the outpouring of outrage by his own people. And that is the direct line between what he said back then and what he did in this election. This is not just an attack against me and my campaign, although that may have added fuel to it. This is an attack against our country. We are well beyond normal political concerns here. This is about the integrity of our democracy and the security of our nation.

This is such a blatant pack of lies that no informed person believes it. Contrary to the despicable New York Times and WaPo, which lent themselves to this farce, the CIA does not have video cameras in the Kremlin to watch Vladimir Putin‚ "himself directing the covert cyber-attacks against our electoral system."

Putin responded by calling Hillary's story "indecent," and he is right. Somehow, after eight years of Obama, the United States has lost the moral high ground, and Vladimir Putin is beating us – not by military power, but by moral honesty. This is an embarrassment.

What did Hillary actually mean – if anything – by saying‚"Putin publicly blamed me for the outpouring of outrage by his own people"? What is she talking about? This sounds like a phony script whipped up by Bill, Obama, and John Podesta in a five-minute phone call. It doesn't pass the smell test, and the world knows it.

The Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission announced the disciplinary action Monday against Willie Mahone.

The commission found that Mahone failed to maintain accurate attorney trust account records, commingled personal and client funds, and created negative balances in multiple client accounts.

The commission says Mahone took exception to the findings.

Morgan Stanley Fined $7.5 Million For Commingling Customer Cash In "Delta One" Desk Trades

On Tuesday, the SEC announced that Morgan Stanley will be fined $7.5 million to settle civil charges that it violated customer protection rules, when it used trades involving customer cash to lower its borrowing costs. The SEC said MS will settle the case without admitting or denying the charges, effectively letting slide a violation which, in an exaggerated format, was exposed as a quasi-criminal offense engaged in by Jon Corzine's now defunct MF Global.

Ok so, Morgan Stanley engaged in some creative "commingling" - what's the big deal, most banks do it. What makes this particular case curious is the basis of the commingling: it involves some of the more interesting, and abstract, concepts of modern finance, including Morgan Stanley's "Delta One" trading desk, as well as the rehypothecation of collateral, all of which participated in a complicated violation of customer protection.

While we present more details below, here is a quick primer on the Customer Protection Rule:

"it is intended to safeguard customers’ cash and securities so that they can be promptly returned should the broker-dealer fail. The SEC order finds that from March 2013 to May 2015, Morgan Stanley’s U.S. broker-dealer used transactions with an affiliate to reduce the amount it was required to deposit in its customer reserve account."

According to the SEC order, Morgan Stanley's transactions violated the Customer Protection Rule, which prohibits broker-dealers from using affiliates to reduce their customer reserve account deposit requirements.

Loretta Lynch: 'I do regret' meeting with Bill Clinton in June

Attorney General Loretta Lynch said on Sunday she regrets secretly meeting with former President Bill Clinton last June because of the negative impression it gave some voters.

"I do regret sitting down and having a conversation with him because it did give people concern. And as I said, my greatest concern has always been making sure that people understand that the Department of Justice works in a way that is independent and looks at everybody equally," Lynch said on CNN's "State of the Union."

The Obama official said it has been "painful" for her to see how the infamous airport tarmac meeting played out during the height of an FBIinvestigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server.

"It did make people wonder: Is it going to affect the investigation that's going on? And that's not something that was an unreasonable question for anyone to ask," Lynch added. "I wish I had seen around that corner and not had that discussion with the former president, as innocuous as it was, because it did give people concern."

Car-tastrophe - GM, Fiat Chrysler Idle 7 Plants; Over 10,000 Workers Affected

Just weeks after Ford idled four plants "due to slowing sales", GM and Fiat Chrysler announced today that they will idle seven plants across Canada and US as they work to reduce near-record high inventories amid weakening sales.

With an inventories-to-sales ratio above historical peaks (only beaten by huge spike in 2008 when sales stopped), the pain for automakers has only just begun...

For example, GM's inventory of vehicles on dealer lots at the end of November stood at 874,162, up 26.5% from the same time a year ago. And so, as AP reports,

General Motors will temporarily close five factories next month as it tries to reduce a growing inventory of cars on dealer lots.

The factories will close anywhere from one to three weeks due to the ongoing U.S. market shift toward trucks and SUVs, spokeswoman Dayna Hart said Monday. Just over 10,000 workers will be idled.

The company's Detroit-Hamtramck factory and Fairfax Assembly plant in Kansas City, Kansas, each will be shut down for three weeks, while a plant in Lansing, Michigan, will be down for two weeks. Factories in Lordstown, Ohio, and Bowling Green, Kentucky, each will be idled for one week.

The factories make most cars in the General Motors lineup including the Chevrolet Cruze, Camaro, Corvette, Malibu, Volt and Impala; the Cadillac CT6, CTS and ATS; and the Buick Lacrosse.

At the current sales pace, GM dealers have enough Malibus to last for 84 days and enough Camaros to last for 177 days, according to Ward's Automotive.

Normally automakers like to have a 60-day supply on lots.

National Aquarium Willing To Pull Canyon Designation Effort If Community Opposition Continues

OCEAN CITY — After backlash from local, state and federal leaders opposing the proposed designation of the Baltimore Canyon as an Urban National Marine Sanctuary, National Aquarium officials late last week responded with a commentary outlining a willingness to compromise on the proposal or even withdraw it altogether.

In October, National Aquarium officials announced they were seeking an Urban National Marine Sanctuary designation for the Baltimore Canyon, a vast 28-mile long and five-mile wide submarine canyon off the coast of Ocean City that lies at the center of the resort’s multi-million fishing industry. According to the National Aquarium’s petition drive, a designation of the nation’s first Urban National Marine Sanctuary for the Baltimore Canyon “presents a unique opportunity to connect an urban population to the ecological treasure using cutting edge deep sea exploration technology.”

The National Aquarium’s announcement in October was met with fears from the resort’s area’s multi-million fishing industry, whose representatives fear a sanctuary designation would ultimately limit, restrict or perhaps prohibit recreational and commercial fishing in the canyon. In the weeks since, the resort’s area’s delegation in Annapolis, including State Senator Jim Mathias and Delegate Mary Beth Carozza, for example, have been working with local fishing industry leaders and other stakeholders in making known their concerns over the proposed designation.

Seven Test Positive for Latent TB at Nebraska High School Where Active Case Was Diagnosed

Seven of 172 students, faculty, and staff at Benson Magnet High School in Omaha, Nebraska, who were given blood tests during the past two weeks have tested positive for latent tuberculosis (TB) infection.

WOWT in Omaha reported that 191 students, faculty, and staff were exposed to the disease by a student who was diagnosed with active TB at the school in November. Ten percent of those exposed, or 19 out of 191, did not submit to blood tests, so their TB status remains unknown.

“Two hundred thirty seven of Benson Magnet High School’s 1,273 students, or 18.6 percent, are refugees, according to Omaha Public School’s District English Language Learner/Refugee Report, 2015-16,” Breitbart News reported on December 9.

“Our thorough investigation revealed no further risk of exposure to active TB disease at Benson High School,” Dr. Adi Pour, Douglas County Public Health director, told WOWT.

“Seven individuals were positive for the TB bacteria, but they most likely have latent TB infections. They were contacted by phone and referred to their regular provider for antibiotic treatment to prevent development of TB disease,” Pour added.

Meet Faith Spotted Eagle, who received one Washington elector’s presidential vote

The Yankton Sioux Tribe member has been a prolific opponent of the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines.

Faith Spotted Eagle was the choice of one Washington state elector on Monday to be the next president of the United States.

Eight of our state’s 12 Democratic electors voted for Hillary Clinton, in accordance with the popular vote, but four others did not. Three voted for former Secretary of State Colin Powell, and one for Faith Spotted Eagle, a Native American elder from South Dakota.

So, who is she?

Faith Spotted Eagle has been a vocal opponent of major oil-pipeline projects in North America, including the Keystone XL pipeline and the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Speaking to CNN earlier this year at the Standing Rock Sioux camp near the intended Dakota Access Pipelinepath, the elder said the fight over the North Dakota land would be “a battle that’s not going to stop.”

“I think it’s a rebirth of a nation, and I think that all of these young people here dream that one day they would live in a camp like this, because they heard the old people telling the stories of living along the river,” she said. “… They’re living the dream.”

Running a pipeline through Native Americans’ sacred lands is no different than if one were built through Arlington National Cemetery, she told CNN. “You don’t disturb people that have been put to rest.”

Abdul Razak Ali Artan Was Known Terror Recruitment Target

Department of Homeland Security officials knew Ohio State University attacker Abdul Razak Ali Artan was a possible recruitment target of Islamic terrorists but granted him asylum anyway, along with his mother and six of his siblings, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley revealed in a letter sent Wednesday to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.

While seeking asylum as refugees from Mogadishu, Somalia in 2013, Artan’s mother told immigration authorities that she feared persecution from al-Qaeda affiliate group al-Shabaab, and worried that Abdul and his siblings would be recruited by the terrorist organization if they remained in Somalia.

That knowledge should have lead USCIS officials to “conduct additional questioning better understand ties to a group that the United States designated as a foreign terrorist organization in 2008.” But the additional questioning, which the Committee describes as “common practice” in those situations, never happened.

Artan’s father, according to the letter, had been kidnapped by the terrorist group. According to the Committee, one of Abdul’s siblings did not travel to America with the rest of the family, for reasons left unclear.

This Mostly White City Wants To Leave Its Mostly Black School District

DeVonte Kirkland is in his second to last year of school at Center Point High in Jefferson County, just outside of Birmingham, Ala. When he graduates next year he wants to head to Alabama State University.

DeVonte also wants a car, so he's taking some serious time to learn how to work on them. Every day, he rides a school bus 25 minutes, each direction, for an auto tech class at Gardendale High, another school on the south side of the district.

Unlike the Jefferson County schools on whole, the student body inside Gardendale's schools is mostly white. At Gardendale, DeVonte says, he's making friends, many of whom don't look like him. "Sometimes we see each other out of school, and we talk in school too. I'm learning something new from them every day," he says.

Next year, though, Gardendale's programs might not be an option for DeVonte and hundreds of other students from around Jefferson County.

2 Marylanders Pardoned, 4 To Serve Commuted Sentences After Mass Clemency

HONOLULU (AP) — President Barack Obama has pardoned 78 people and shortened the sentence of 153 others convicted of federal crimes, the greatest number of individual clemencies in a single day by any president, the White House said Monday. Four of the commutations and two of the pardons have Maryland connections.

Obama has been granting commutations at rapid-fire pace in his final months in office, but he has focused primarily on shortening sentences of those convicted of drug offenses rather than giving pardons.

A pardon amounts to forgiveness of a crime that removes restrictions on the right to vote, hold state or local office, or sit on a jury. The pardon also lessens the stigma arising from the conviction. The pardons issued Monday were for a wide range of offenses, such as possession of counterfeit currency, felon in possession of a firearm and involuntary manslaughter. One Tennessee man was pardoned after being dismissed from the military in 1990 for conduct unbecoming an officer (shoplifting.)

Neil Eggleston, Obama's White House counsel, said Obama has now pardoned a total of 148 people during his presidency. He has also shortened the sentences of 1,176 people, including 395 serving life sentences.

Patients Cared For By Female Doctors Fare Better Than Those Treated By Men

In a study that is sure to rile male doctors, Harvard researchers have found that female doctors who care for elderly hospitalized patients get better results. Patients cared for by women were less likely to die or return to the hospital after discharge.

Previous research has shown that female doctors are more likely to followrecommendations about prevention counseling and to order preventive tests like Pap smears and mammograms.

But the latest work, published Monday in JAMA Internal Medicine, is the first to show a big difference in the result that matters most to patients: life or death.

The study's authors estimate "that approximately 32,000 fewer patients would die if male physicians could achieve the same outcomes as female physicians every year."

Earlier this year, Hill’s family said they had been living a nightmare since the their mom was killed at her Happy Hill Road home.

The crime was unsolved for more than a year – a fact that tormented Hill’s family. A $5,000 reward was also offered.

As Electors Vote, More Defect From Clinton Than Trump

Donald J. Trump will be the next president of the United States.

That's been the case since Nov. 8, when Trump won 306 electoral votes, despite losing the national popular vote to Hillary Clinton by nearly 3 million.

And on Monday, the result was ratified by Electoral College voters, who gathered in state capitols across the United States to formally vote for president.

Trump secured 304 electoral votes — two fewer than he earned in November, according to the Associated Press, which tracked results from capitol to capitol. That was despite a pitched effort by some on the left who wrote letters to Trump electors trying to persuade them to switch their votes or not vote at all and keep Trump short of the 270 needed.

Not only did it not happen, but more electors tried to defect from Hillary Clinton Monday than from Trump, by a count of seven to two, as of Monday afternoon. Three Democratic electors in Maine, Minnesota, and Colorado tried to vote for candidates other than Clinton. The electors' votes, however, were disallowed because of state rules binding them to the statewide popular vote winner.

Maryland state school board considering vouchers, charters for failing schools

The state school board is considering bold measures — offering vouchers, creating new charter programs and establishing a statewide school district — to improve consistently low-performing schools.

The ideas — none of which has been formally proposed — would be radical departures from current practices. They're being discussed in broad terms by board members as they work to rewrite the regulations that will govern how Maryland's students and schools are judged beginning next school year.

It is not clear whether any of the ideas will gain the support of the full board or the public. State school board President Andrew Smarick, who has spent much of his career on education policy, says he supports change.

"Maryland has been very traditional in its approach to failing schools," he said. "I am on the side of pushing our policymakers to be bolder on this issue because of the thousands of young lives at stake."

Now ask yourself, do you really want to buy into Russia as a foe or would you rather our government work with all world governments to end this madness?

Aborted Babies Must Be Thrown Into Landfills Lest They Be Acknowledged as Human

Admitting that babies are human even if they have been killed in (or halfway out of) the womb would force progressives to confront the enormity of their immorality. Therefore, these children cannot be granted even the dignity of cremation; their corpses must be thrown into landfills as garbage:

A federal judge in Texas granted a restraining order to block new rules requiring that fetal remains from abortions and miscarriages, regardless of the length of gestation, be buried or cremated rather than being sent to a sanitary landfill as is often the case now.

The new rules were set to take effect on Monday and were put in place by the state’s health department at the request of Texas Governor Greg Abbott in July after the U.S. Supreme Court struck down laws that would have made abortion clinics safer for women and better regulated.

Marion Le Pen: Let Town Halls Install Nativity Scenes as ‘Symbol of Culture and Identity’

The French Front National has begun a campaign to install nativity scenes in French town halls over the Christmas period.

Marion Maréchal Le Pen, niece of party leader Marine, has proposed a motion in the parliament of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region calling for nativity scenes to be allowed in all town halls of the area.

She pointed out that even under France’s strict secular laws, nativity scenes are permitted in public buildings if they a “symbol of the culture and identity” of the region.

TV channel LCI reports that the Front National called for the Republicans, who govern the region, to “put aside political divisions and vote for this common sense motion.”

However, the idea was met with scorn by regional president Christian Estrosi, a member of the establishment conservatives, who sarcastically remarked: “Finally, Madame Le Pen has an idea: the installation of a nativity scene in the regional parliament!”

Federal judge orders release of search warrant from Clinton email case

A federal judge on Monday ordered the release of the search warrant the FBI used to reopen their probe into Hillary Clinton’s private email server days before the November election.

U.S. District Judge P. Kevin Castel ruled Monday morning that the public had a right to see the warrant, which he said was secretly filed with the court on Oct. 30.

“The search warrant, the application for the search warrant, the affidavit in support of the application for the search warrant, and the search warrant return will be unsealed and posted on the Court's electronic case filing system” subject to redactions, Castel said in his order.

The Justice Department may seek to block the release before a federal appeals court.

The court dispute concerns the warrant agents used to get access to emails stored on a computer belonging to Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

Report: 820,000 criminal illegals, 84% with felonies, serious misdemeanors

Illegal immigrants with criminal records, the deportation priority of President-elect Trump, total at least 820,000, with most having felony and serious misdemeanor convictions, according to a new report.

Some estimates have suggested up to two million criminal illegals, but the numbers cited by the Center for Immigration Studies still show an enormous group larger than the populations of four states, Alaska, North Dakota, Vermont or Wyoming.

The immigration think tank cited numbers from the Urban Institute. That group downplayed the crimes and also questioned deporting any of those who are parents of children who might get left behind.

"Some estimates say that there are only 820,000 undocumented immigrants with criminal records in the country, including 690,000 with a felony or serious misdemeanor conviction," said that report.

Seen ager

I am a Seen ager.

I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 60 years later… I don’t have to go to school or work.

I get an allowance every month.

I have my own pad.

I don’t have a curfew.

I have a driver’s license and my own car.

The people I hang around with are not scared of getting pregnant.

And I don’t have acne.

Life is great.

I didn't make it to the gym today. That makes five years in a row.

I decided to stop calling the bathroom the “John” and renamed it the “Jim”. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Old age is coming at a really bad time. When I was a child I thought “Nap Time” was a punishment. Now, as a grownup, it feels like a small vacation.

The biggest lie I tell myself is…"I don't need to write that down, I'll remember it."

I don't have grey hair; I have "wisdom highlights

Last year I joined a support group for procrastinators. We haven't met yet.

Of course I talk to myself; sometimes I need expert advice.

At my age "Getting lucky" means walking into a room and remembering what I came in there for.

I have more friends I should send this to, but right now I can’t remember their names.

Umbrella - A Touching Story...

On a rainy afternoon, a group of protesters were gathered outside the grocery store handing out pamphlets on the evils of America. I politely declined to take one.
There was an elderly woman behind me and a young (20-ish) female protester offered her a pamphlet, which she politely declined.

The young protester gently put her hand on the old woman's shoulder and in a patronizing voice said, "Don't you care about the
children of Iraq?"

The old woman looked up at her and said: "Honey, my father died in France during World War II, I lost my husband in Korea, and a son in Vietnam. All three died so a naive, ignorant, self-centered bimbo like you could have the right to stand here and badmouth our country, and if you touch me again, I'll shove this umbrella up your ass and open it."

LA County Considers $1 Million in Taxpayer Funds to Help Illegals Fight Deportation

Los Angeles County supervisors Janice Hahn and Hilda Solis are asking their colleagues to join them in setting aside $1 million in county funds that can be used to help illegal immigrants fight deportation.

It is estimated that LA County’s illegal immigrant population is over 800,000, and the $1 million in funding would come from taxpayers’ pockets.

According to KPCC, supervisor Hahn’s spokeswoman Liz Odendahl explained that “The idea is to set up the legal fund with $1 million in the first year, then obtain matching funds from public or private donors.” The move is a preemptive one, aimed at short-circuiting President-elect Donald Trump’s pledge “to deport millions of immigrants living in the country illegally.”

Hahn said, “Many immigrants who are facing deportation have a legal avenue to stay in this country, but they are not aware of it because they don’t have legal representation.”
