ICE announces results of Operation Border Guardian/Border Resolve

WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) deportation officers apprehended 650 individuals during a four-day operation last week, Operation Border Guardian/Border Resolve, which targeted individuals who entered the country as unaccompanied alien children (UACs) and family units.
This operation was the second iteration of Operation Border Guardian/Border Resolve which first took place in January and February 2016 in response to the significant spike in families and UACs from Central America attempting to illegally cross the southern border.
All of the individuals targeted during this operation had been issued a final order of removal by a federal immigration judge, and had no appeals or motions to re-open their case pending before the nation’s immigration courts.
Of the 650 arrested nationwide July 23 to 26, 73 were members of family units and 120 entered the country illegally as UACs. An additional 457 others encountered during this operation were also arrested.

Fox Airs Allegations That Awans Aided Wasserman-S

Lt. Colonel Tony Schaffer alleged on Fox News that the Awan brothers may have aided Debbie Wasserman-Schultz in making bizarre, voice modulated phone calls to the offices of attorneys currently pursuing a litigating a class action lawsuit against Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and the DNC. If substantiated, the claims may have significance for the DNC fraud lawsuit proceedings, and add to the growing controversy surrounding the recent arrest of Imran Awan on bank fraud charges.

Waterfowl Hunting Opportunities in Somerset County

Limited Number of Deal Island, Fairmount Wildlife Management Area Permits Issued by Lottery

Hunters can now submit applications for the annual permit-only waterfowl hunting days on Deal Island and Fairmount wildlife management areas, located in Somerset County on Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore.

Permits will be issued through a lottery drawing, with assignments based upon a hunter’s stated preference for each impoundment area and/or date. Applications must be received by Sept. 11.

Waterfowl hunting within the impoundment is by permit only on the opening days of each of the three separate splits of duck season. After that, hunting is restricted to certain days and/or holidays through the remainder of each split season.

“The impoundments at these areas are among the best known public spots for waterfowl hunting in the state,” Game Bird Program Leader Bill Harvey said. “Recent changes in water level management together with restrictions on motors have resulted in greatly improved waterfowl habitats at these specific locations.”

All hunters are reminded that motorized boats, except those powered by electric motors, are prohibited at the impoundments from October through March. The Maryland Department of Natural Resourcesestablished this strategy to limit the impact on habitat. Boat use and waterfowl hunting outside of these restricted impoundments remains open and unchanged.

Maryland State Police Continues Focus On Distracted Drivers

(PIKESVILLE, MD) – Maryland State Police are continuing to make enforcement of distracted driving laws a top priority as troopers issued significantly more citations and warnings over the first six months of 2017 compared to the same time last year.

Between Jan. 1 and July 1 2017, Maryland State troopers issued a combined 20,762 warnings and citations, compared to 17,718 over an identical time period in 2016. This included 10,158 citations and 10,604 warnings this year compared to 9,126 citations and 8,592 warnings in 2016.

The National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA) defines distracted driving as any activity that diverts attention from driving, including talking or texting on your phone, eating and drinking, talking to people in your vehicle and/or adjusting the stereo, entertainment or navigation systems. Every time a driver takes their eyes off the road and focuses their attention on something else, they are endangering themselves, those in their vehicle and everyone else on the road around them.

Republicans Move to Establish Second Special Counsel to Investigate Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, President Obama

The grounds for war have been laid. You know it and I know it. The democrats have forced republicans into a small corner and have been scratching away at their fat faces since election night. For every action, there is is reaction -- basic physics.

Rep. Gaetz and a few dozen other republicans are now calling for a special prosecutor to investigate the great and many crimes of the previous administration and Hillary Clinton.

Rep. Gaetz:

“The American public has a right to know the facts – all of them – surrounding the election and its aftermath,” they wrote. “We urge you to appoint a second special counsel to ensure these troubling, unanswered questions are not relegated to the dustbin of history.”

'I don’t think that the crimes of the prior administration, of Hillary Clinton, the collusion with James Comey and Loretta Lynch should be forgotten just because Hillary Clinton lost the election'

Here is their 14 point request.

But now the Trump administration says it will cut off some federal funding for sanctuary cities and counties that refuse to help.

Beach Patrol Responds to After Hours Swimmer in Distress (Swimmer Identified)

Ocean City, Maryland – (August 1, 2017): Members of the Ocean City Beach Patrol went off duty at their regularly scheduled time of 5:30 p.m. yesterday, Monday, July 31, after clearing all swimmers from the ocean. At 7:19 p.m. Ocean City Communications dispatchers began to receive calls for swimmers in distress in the area of 1st street, where witnesses on the beach reported seeing a person in the water who became submerged.

Surf Rescue Technician’s (SRT) working extended mobile patrol arrived in the area of 1st Street and the beach, followed by Ocean City Fire Department rescue swimmers and members of the Coast Guard and Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Beach Patrol Surf Rescue technicians along with fire department rescue swimmers immediately began performing search and recovery diving techniques.

The distressed swimmer, Timothy Thompson, 35, from Prince George, VA, was located shortly after the arrival of first responders and brought onto the beach where paramedics began CPR. Ocean City EMS transported Thompson to Atlantic General Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

“We urge our beach patrons to swim only when the lifeguards are on duty and to take the time to walk to and swim in front of the lifeguard,” commented Ocean City Emergency Services Director Joseph Theobald. “Our deepest sympathies are with the family who lost a loved one today.”

Most Maryland Lifers Sentenced as Minors Request New Terms

Roughly a dozen people are serving life terms in prison without the possibility of parole in Maryland for crimes they committed as juveniles, and nearly all of them are asking for new sentences in light of U.S. Supreme Court decisions that say sentencing teenagers to die in prison is unconstitutional.

Since a landmark ruling barring mandatory life without parole for juveniles was made retroactive in 2016, the sentences of four lifers in Maryland have been tossed, and each is awaiting a resentencing hearing.

Motions for new hearings in Maryland courts are more complex than similar legal battles being waged in many other states. That's because, according to the bipartisan organization National Conference of State Legislators, Maryland is among more than 20 states where judges aren't mandated to hand down life-without-parole sentences for certain offenses but may do so if they choose. Such discretionary sentences aren't explicitly covered under the Supreme Court's decision, prosecutors have argued.

Social Security benefits set to increase by largest amount in years

Americans receiving Social Security benefits in 2018 can expect to see the program's largest payment increase in years, according to the trustees report released Thursday.

In January, recipients will receive a $28 monthly increase in benefits, which, although amounts to just 2.2%, is much larger than the 0.3% increase in benefits recipients collected this year. In 2016 the program offered no payout increase. The average monthly payment for the program’s 61 million beneficiaries is $1,253.

Despite the good news, Social Security and Medicare are still dealing with looming cash shortfalls. OASDI maintains funding levels will run dry by the mid-2030’s, with Medicare Part A projected to be depleted in 2029—one year later than projected in last year’s analysis.

If Congress allows either fund to be depleted, millions of Americans living on fixed incomes would face steep cuts in benefits.

Neither Social Security nor Medicare faces an immediate crisis. But the trustees warn that the longer Congress waits to address the program's problems, the harder it will be to sustain Social Security and Medicare without significant cuts in benefits, big tax increases or both.

Police officer buys diapers for woman caught shoplifting them for son

(LAUREL, Md.) — One Maryland police officer is being applauded after he compassionately responded to a young mother he found shoplifting for her son.

The Laurel Police Department told ABC News that rookie officer Bennett Johns responded to a call at a local grocery store July 22.

There he learned a 20-year-old mother, who was with her young son, “was caught by security attempting to steal two packs of diapers,” a statement from the department added.

“After she purchased some groceries she did not have enough money left over to buy the diapers,” the statement continued. “Officer Johns considered the situation and then made the decision to purchase the diapers out of his own pocket so that the young child would not suffer.”

Green Delusions and the Wind Bully

Green ideology is a collection of beliefs and superstitions that have been elevated into a religious cult. The green cult is rife with contradictions and dogma. For example, people in Wisconsin must eat fresh natural food, grown locally...and Wisconsin farmers are still working on the problem of growing lettuce in the snow.

The electric power grid is an essential of modern life. Take it away, and the consequence would be mass extinction. The greens are eager to tamper with the grid. They want to substitute "clean" wind and solar electricity for the "dirty" nuclear, coal, and natural gas electricity.

The word "clean," like the word "green," has a new meaning. Now "clean" means politically correct. Something is clean if it conforms to green dogma.

The Panera Bread fast food chain tells us that its food is now "clean." It means that its food is politically correct, not containing a long list of taboo ingredients. The greens have their own dietary laws. Read the magazine Clean Eating for details.

Montgomery Co.: Home to local Hit Squad gang, MS-13 homicides

ROCKVILLE, Md. — In Montgomery County, Maryland, — home to the National Institutes of Health, Marriott International and Lockheed Martin — gangs, including the international MS-13 and the locally-grown Hit Squad, are at fault for 18 homicides over the past two years, and prosecutors and police want them stopped.

“Does it trouble me that as of last Friday, 26 percent of the jail population in Montgomery County identified as a gang member? Yes, that troubles me,” said Montgomery County State’s Attorney John McCarthy as he announced last Wednesday the first-degree murder conviction of Rico LeBlond, who McCarthy described as a verified member of Hit Squad.

“The gang that is responsible for more than any is MS-13, but Hit Squad, I believe, is responsible for the second highest total in terms of homicides,” said McCarthy. “Unlike MS-13 … Hit Squad is a local gang, born and raised in Gaithersburg and Montgomery Village.”

The county’s top prosecutor wants more resources to counter gang violence. He wants to pursue gangs using federal anti-racketeering laws to break up gang activities with the goal of averting deadly violence.

'Collusion' Collapses: Dem Congressional Espionage Ring Takes Center Ring

In truth, the Russians “colluded” through GPS Fusion to harm, not help, Trump and the evidence of that is coming out. It’s time to repeal the Special Counsel law which has now been used twice to hamstring two Republican Presidents, has dubious constitutional authority, and will never result in the indictment of a prominent Democratic politician.

Under the Constitution there are three ways to deal with official corruption: the ballot box, impeachment, or criminal prosecution. Instead, in recent years we have tried two different means: the Independent Counsel law, now lapsed, and the Special Counsel law. Pepperdine Law Professor Douglas M. Kmiec explains the difference and argues that the features of the independent counsel, which the Supreme Court held constitutional, and the special counsel law that has not been challenged, are different, notably that the absence of outside supervision of the prosecutor and failure in both instances of the application of the Special Counsel act -- the Plame case, and the Russian interference case now under Mueller -- lack what the Court called a necessary predicate for such an investigation: a finding by the attorney general that there is reason to believe that a crime has occurred. That did not occur in the “collusion” investigation. In the Plame case, as I show, the major figures all knew there was no crime before they began the investigation.

Shock Claim From Inside DNC: Seth Rich Leaked Emails To Moscow Lawyer One Month Before His Murder

With the 'Russian hacking' conspiracy theory hanging by a gossamer thread, a new claim from a prominent Seth Rich investigator casts further doubt that the DNC servers were breached by a foreign actor - yet maintains the charge of Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election: Seth Rich leaked the DNC emails to the same Moscow attorney who met with Trump Jr. in June 2016.

According to Radar Online, an anonymous staffer currently employed by the DNC contacted prominent attorney, GOP lobbyist, and Seth Rich investigator Jack Burkman with the claim that Rich met with Natalia Veselnitskaya one month before his murder - giving her a cache of DNC emails later released by WikiLeaks.

“They claimed the Russian lawyer had met with Rich about a month before his death, four to six weeks, and Seth provided her with emails that were, apparently, leaked later on WikiLeaks." -Jack Burkman

Of note, Veselnitskaya - who doesn't speak English, would have needed an interpreter to meet with Rich unless he spoke Russian.

Jack Burkman represents the family of Seth Rich, and has been pushing the Seth Rich - Russia connection for months, calling for an investigation into links to the murder. In January, he told Infowars Rich was murdered by Russia after uncovering evidence that they hacked the DNC.

In addition to creating the website www.whokilledseth.com, Burkman is staging a reenactment of Rich's murder next Tuesday.

Family of Drug Smuggler Gets $1 Million From US Govt After He Drinks Liquid Meth in Front of Feds Then Dies

More than three years ago, a Mexican teenager crossed the border into America at a Border Patrol check point. After the authorities found a suspicious liquid in his backpack, the teen voluntarily drank some of the liquid. He claimed it was apple juice he’d bought across the border. It wasn’t. It was meth in a liquid form.

He died shortly after. And now the federal court in San Diego has awarded his family $1 million to settle a lawsuit with his family.

Cruz Marcelino Velázquez Acevedo, 16, died from a massive overdose on Nov. 18, 2013. He drank the liquid in an attempt to fool the border patrol agents interrogating him.

The family’s lawsuit alleged that “the two agents told a young man to drink the liquid to prove to them that it was fruit juice and not a drug.” Eugene Iredale, the family’s attorney, told the court that he “did that, and as a result, he died.”

Judge Napolitano: Awans Had Access To 'Virtually Everything' In House of Representatives, Sold Information

While the rapidly unfolding case against Debbie Wasserman Schultz's apparent Pakistani IT spy ring already had huge implications for National Security, we now learn that the investigation into the the Awan family encompasses more than just the House Democrats they were working directly for.

Judge Andrew Napolitano appeared on Fox Business Network on Monday where he dropped a new bombshell: not only did the Awans had access to the emails of every member of the House of Representatives, Imran Awan reportedly sold information to still unknown parties, which the FBI is currently investigating.

Napolitano: He was arrested for some financial crime - that's the tip of the iceberg. The real allegation against him is that he had access to the emails of every member of congress and he sold what he found in there. What did he sell, and to whom did he sell it? That's what the FBI wants to know. This may be a very, very serious national security situation.

Varney: Wait a second, he was the IT worker along with his two Pakistani brothers, for DWS, and other Democrats in the House - and the theory is that he got access to all of their secrets or whatever, and sold some?

Napolitano: Yes, and this was at the time that Congresswoman Schultz was also the chair of the Democratic National Committee. So at this point I don't believe they know what he sold, and to whom he sold it - but they do know what he had access to, which is virtually everything in the House of representatives, which would include classified material in the House intelligence committee.

President Trump picked Carson to head the Department of Housing and Urban Development, whose budget grew by leaps and bounds under Barack Obama.

TWO ARRESTED FOR WICOMICO CO. MURDER

Brandi Upshur
Genequa Winder

(SALISBURY, MD) – Two suspects have been arrested and additional arrests are expected in connection with the murder a man two days ago in Wicomico County.

The suspects are identified as Brandi D. Upshur, 39, and Genequa T. Winder, 23, both of Salisbury, Md. Both suspects are charged with first degree murder, second degree murder, conspiracy to commit first and second degree murder, first degree assault, second degree assault and reckless endangerment. Both are being held in the Wicomico County Detention Center.

Both suspects are charged in connection with the murder of Tavin T. Molock, 32, of Salisbury, Md. Molock was found injured in the 400-block of Bethel Street by responding Salisbury Police Department officers shortly before 11:30 a.m. on July 30, 2017. Molock later died at the hospital. An autopsy confirmed the manner of his death was homicide. The cause of death is being withheld by investigators at this time due its importance to the ongoing investigation.

The Maryland State Police Homicide Unit investigation led to the identification of the two suspects. The investigation indicates Molock was assaulted by several individuals while he was on-foot in the 400-block of Bethel Street in Salisbury. A motive for the murder remains under investigation.

The Homicide Unit investigation is continuing. Additional arrests are anticipated. Investigative assistance has been provided by the Salisbury Police Department, the drug task forces from Wicomico and Dorchester counties, and the Maryland State Police Gang Enforcement Unit.

Federal Indictment Alleges Chrysler And UAW Execs Stole Millions From Employee Training Programs

For any UAW employees out there who still think their union is anything more than a ponzi scheme designed to effectively tax membership while enriching a few 'bosses' at the top of the pyramid, you should probably take note of a federal indictment that was filed late last week alleging that Chrysler executives conspired with UAW leaders to siphon millions in funds earmarked for employee training to line their own pockets.

As Automotive News points out, as of now, only two Chrysler employees have been charged but the indictment lays out a scenario in which many more charges could be levied against Chrysler employees and other high-ranking UAW officials who may have been involved.?

The indictment, unsealed last week, describes the alleged illegal dealings of former FCA labor relations chief Alphons Iacobelli, deceased UAW Vice President General Holiefield and his widow, Monica Morgan, a prominent Detroit photographer. Morgan will be arraigned in a Detroit federal court today, July 31. Iacobelli will be arraigned Tuesday, Aug. 1.

Federal investigators claim the three were at the center of a conspiracy from 2009 through 2014 that included Iacobelli personally pocketing $1 million and helping funnel $1.2 million from the UAW- Chrysler National Training Center to Holiefield, Morgan and other high-ranking members of the union.

The indictment specifically mentions at least eight unnamed people while vaguely mentioning "other" groups of people. Separately, federal officials announced fraud charges against former FCA financial analyst Jerome Durden, who is accused of creating false tax returns to hide payments to Holiefield, Iacobelli and other beneficiaries who were not identified.

"More could be charged," said Peter Henning, a former federal prosecutor in Washington, D.C., and professor at Wayne State University Law School. Henning said it's typical in investigations such as these for additional witnesses, informants and co-conspirators to be named after the initial round of arraignments.

So, what did they buy with their embezzled funds?

Woman drove the wrong way five miles on Route 50 before fatal crash

A Greenbelt police officer came forward over the weekend to say he saw the driver who caused a fatal head-on collision last week enter Route 50 in the wrong direction more than five miles away.

Officer Michael Apgar of Cape St. Claire told The Capital Saturday that he saw the driver enter westbound Route 50 at Route 2 south exit ramp in Annapolis. He was the first person to call in the wrong-way driver to police, records of 911 calls released Monday by Anne Arundel County police show.

The driver, identified by police as Christine Parks, 31, of Severn, drove east for several minutes before she collided with a car driven by Hui Xu, 34, of Herndon, Virginia. Police said the crash, which injured two others as well, happened near Bay Dale Drive on across the Severn River Bridge.

False Health Care Choices Prevent Real Reform

“Even when Republicans control the White House and both houses of Congress, liberalism remains the default ideology of the federal government.” —Washington Examiner columnist W. James Antle III

Nothing proves Antle’s assertion better than the GOP’s futile and apparently final attempt to pass “skinny” ObamaCare repeal. Unsurprisingly, reliably liberal Senators Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska were joined by “maverick” John McCain of Arizona and every Senate Democrat in a 49-51 defeat of the measure. “I regret that our efforts were simply not enough, this time,” said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, following the debacle. “This is clearly a disappointing moment. It’s time to move on.”

What remains infuriatingly elusive to McConnell and his equally myopic colleagues is that it was always time to move on. Instead, America endured a frustrating exercise whereby the party that ostensibly espouses limited-government, free-market principles was determined to replace a Democrat, government-run health care plan … with a Republican, government-run health care plan.

It’s time for some clear thinking.

Trump Asks Why Congress, Insurance Companies Are Exempt from Obamacare Failings

President Trump took to Twitter Monday to ask why insurance companies and Congress are not being hurt by the failings of Obamacare just as the American people are being hit.

Trump started the day by noting that the unpopular healthcare law is “hurting people” and asked why it isn’t also hurting insurance companies, and also why Congress is exempt.

If ObamaCare is hurting people, & it is, why shouldn't it hurt the insurance companies & why should Congress not be paying what public pays?

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 31, 2017

Trump had previously threatened to end what he called “bailouts” for insurance companies and Congress after the failing of the GOP-led Senate to pass either a healthcare reform bill, a flat-out Obamacare repeal, or a so-called “skinny repeal” of Obamacare.

Google’s tracking shoppers sparks a federal privacy complaint

A prominent privacy rights watchdog is asking the Federal Trade Commission to investigate a new Google advertising program that ties consumers’ online behavior to their purchases in brick-and-mortar stores.

The legal complaint from the Electronic Privacy Information Center, to be filed with the FTC on Monday, alleges that Google is newly gaining access to a trove of highly sensitive information -- the credit and debit card purchase records of the majority of U.S. consumers -- without revealing how they got the information or giving consumers meaningful ways to opt out. Moreover, the group claims that the search giant is relying on a secretive technical method to protect the data -- a method that should be audited by outsiders and is likely vulnerable to hacks or other data breaches.

“Google is seeking to extend its dominance from the online world to the real, offline world, and the FTC really needs to look at that,” said Marc Rotenberg, the organization’s executive director.

Google called its advertising approach "common" and said it had "invested in building a new, custom encryption technology that ensures users' data remains private, secure and anonymous."

The Washington Post detailed Google's program, Store Sales Measurement, in May. Executives have hailed it as a “revolutionary” breakthrough in advertisers’ abilities to track consumer behavior.

Rand Paul: Trump Considering Executive Action On Healthcare

After the Senate failed to repeal Obamacare on Thursday, when a critical "Nay" vote by John McCain crushed Trump's biggest campaign promise shortly after midnight, on Saturday the President threatened to end key payments to Obamacare insurance companies if a repeal and replace bill is not passed. "After seven years of 'talking' Repeal & Replace, the people of our great country are still being forced to live with imploding ObamaCare!" Trump tweeted, followed by: "If a new HealthCare Bill is not approved quickly, BAILOUTS for Insurance Companies and BAILOUTS for Members of Congress will end very soon!."

Now, in previewing what may be Trump's next potential step to keep the fight against Obamacare alive, Reuters reports that Senator Rand Paul told reporters that Trump is "considering taking some form of executive action" to address problems with the healthcare system.
Paul said he spoke to President Donald Trump by phone about healthcare reform on Monday and told the president he thought Trump had the authority to create associations that would allow organizations to offer group health insurance plans.

Allowing groups like AARP, which represents retirees, to form health associations could enable individuals and small businesses to form larger groups to negotiate with health insurance companies for lower rates.

Such a move would also allow Trump to implement his threat of "ending bailouts for insurance companies."

REPORT: TRUMP HAS DECREASED NATIONAL DEBT BY HUGE AMOUNT

The U.S. debt clock has begun spinning backward since President Trump took office. When President Trump took office on Jan. 20, the total national debt was $19,947,304,555,212, or nearly $20 trillion. While there are fluctuating cycles of increase and decrease, the debt reached a high of $19,959,593,604,841 on Feb. 28, 2017, stalled, and since March 14, 2017, has continually dropped:

In the same period after Barack Obama’s inauguration in 2009, the debt rose $320 billion, an increase of 3.1 percent. During Obama’s eight years, the national debt nearly doubled, giving Trump’s predecessor the distinction of having increased it more than any other administration in history.

Total U.S. National Debt has now decreased by more than $100 billion.

Vincent Jones was found dead at his home on Monday, after two Frederick County Sheriff’s Office representatives went there to serve an official termination notice.

They report hearing a loud noise from the second floor of the home, and Jones was found dead from a gunshot wound.

This comes after Jones was arrested early Monday morning on charges of distribution of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana over 10 grams. He was then released on $10,000 bond.

Trump Saw A Disturbing Video, Then He Shut Down The CIA's Covert Syria Program

While we've carefully documented the dynamics in play behind Trump's decision to end the CIA's covert Syria program, as well as the corresponding fury this immediately unleashed among the usual hawkish DC policy wonks, new information on what specifically impacted the president's thinking has emerged.

Thomas Joscelyn, a Middle East analyst for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, explains in the August edition of The Weekly Standard:

Earlier this year, President Donald Trump was shown a disturbing video of Syrian rebels beheading a child near the city of Aleppo. It had caused a minor stir in the press as the fighters belonged to the Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement, a group that had been supported by the CIA as part of its rebel aid program.

The footage is haunting. Five bearded men smirk as they surround a boy in the back of a pickup truck. One of them holds the boy’s head with a tight grip on his hair while another mockingly slaps his face. Then, one of them uses a knife to saw the child’s head off and holds it up in the air like a trophy. It is a scene reminiscent of the Islamic State’s snuff videos, except this wasn’t the work of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s men. The murderers were supposed to be the good guys: our allies.

Trump pressed his most senior intelligence advisers, asking the basic question of how the CIA could have a relationship with a group that beheads a child and then uploads the video to the internet. He wasn't satisfied with any of the responses:

Trump wanted to know why the United States had backed Zenki if its members are extremists. The issue was discussed at length with senior intelligence officials, and no good answers were forthcoming, according to people familiar with the conversations. After learning more worrisome details about the CIA’s ghost war in Syria—including that U.S.-backed rebels had often fought alongside extremists, among them al Qaeda’s arm in the country—the president decided to end the program altogether.

Bible Studies at the White House

A spiritual awakening is underway at the White House.

Some of the most powerful people in America have been gathering weekly to learn more about God's Word, and this Trump Cabinet Bible study is making history.

They've been called the most evangelical Cabinet in history – men and women who don't mince words when it comes to where they stand on God and the Bible.

Ralph Drollinger of Capitol Ministries told CBN News, "These are godly individuals that God has risen to a position of prominence in our culture."

They're all handpicked by President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

Health Secretary Tom Price, Energy Secretary Rick Perry, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Agriculture Secretary Sunny Perdue, and CIA Director Mike Pompeo are just a few of the regulars.

"It's the best Bible study that I've ever taught in my life. They are so teachable; they're so noble; they're so learned," Drollinger said.

Liberals Aren’t Liking This Newly-Discovered Photo Of The 1924 Democrat Convention…

The 1924 Democrat National Convention, also called the Klanbake, was held at the Madison Square Garden in New York City from June 24 to July 9, 1924.

Maybe this was where Democrat and former KKK member Robert Byrd got his start.

This seems too crazy, even for liberals, to be true, but you can Google ‘Klanbake” and discover the authenticity of how involved the Democrat party has been involved with the KKK.
The Ku Klux Klan was resurrected after the 1915 release of D.W. Griffith’s very popular motion picture The Birth of a Nation.

After World War I, the popularity of the Klan surged due to connections of its public relations leadership to those who had promoted the successful Prohibition Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, becoming a political power throughout many regions of the United States, not just in the South. Its local political strength throughout the country gave it a major role in the 1924 Democratic Party National Convention (DNC).

The 20th Century Ku Klux Klan was notoriously anti-Catholic and anti-Semitic, in addition to being anti-black. The Klan advocates opposed those supporting Catholics from the major cities of the Northeast and Midwest. The tension between pro- and anti-Klan delegates produced an intense and sometimes violent showdown between convention attendees from the states of Colorado and Missouri.

Klan delegates opposed the nomination of New York Governor Al Smith because Smith was a Roman Catholic. Smith campaigned against William Gibbs McAdoo, who had the support of most Klan delegates.

Ravens Fans to Ravens Ownership: We Don’t Want Kaepernick Here

Baltimore is the birthplace of our national anthem, and the football fans there apparently want no part of any NFL player who disrespects it.

According to Mike Silver of NFL Media, the Ravens “have heard from numerous fans regarding Kaepernick in the last couple of days, many staunchly opposed to his signing”:

This is not an isolated incident. A few months ago, Giants co-owner John Mara told of a similar backlash against the idea of signing Kaepernick from Giants fans:

New Report Exposes Thousands of Illegal Votes from 2016 Election

A new bombshell study released by the Government Accountability Institute shows why President Donald Trump’s Advisory Commission on Election Integrity has such an important job ahead of it.

The Institute concluded in its report that thousands of votes in the 2016 election were illegal duplicate votes from people who registered and voted in more than one state.

The Government Accountability Institute, founded by Peter Schweizer, author of “Clinton Cash,” seeks to “investigate and expose crony capitalism, misuse of taxpayer monies, and other governmental corruption or malfeasance.”

The Government Accountability Institute was able to obtain voter registration and voter history data from only 21 states because while some states shared it freely, “others impose exorbitant costs or refuse to comply with voter information requests.”

These 21 states represent “about 17 percent of all possible state-to-state comparison combinations.”

A Viewer Writes: Setting the record straight

Joe, last week there was a post concerning the oldest recollection of news headlines one could remember. After reading stories in the "Times" by Ernest Cornbrooks and the other lesser bubbling fountains of worthless knowledge I felt compelled to set the story straight. I'm 67 and as God would have it, I have good mental faculty and it seems Cornbrooks and the other Democratic Liberals DON'T.
When I was a small boy we were poor and in 1955 didn't own a TV set. My Grandmother and the lady who was her friend did so we went over to her place and she would turn the TV on the keep me occupied while they chatted. I saw the day of the hearings when Joe McCarthy committed political suicide. McCarthy was bent on being the 'Political Hero' who flushed all of the rats (Communists) out of the D.C. Swamp. He failed, lost his seat, was ostracized by his constituency ultimately to die lonely and in an alcoholic blur, all because he carried his beliefs to extremes without proof or evidence.

Later this was proved to be correct by several think tanks when they still had something to think with.
When I watch Chuck Schummer, Nancy Pelosi, John McCain, and Rand Paul and the other D.C. clowns I'm insulted by the fact they 'THINK' ALL the people such as myself have forgotten this mark in history and are unable to put together the significance of McCarthys' actions in perspective to their own. They think we're SO stupid no one knows they're reciting and acting from McCarthys' playbooks.

This was such as slam to the Dumbocrats and their regime that they've NEVER overed it. When I say they're all nuts I'm NOT being a wise guy yet exposing them to be unwise guys. They haven't grasped the concept their theology is covered with barnacles and have failed to evolve from the abyss of mental frailty. THAT'S why Hillary LOST the ELECTION. Not because of the Russians or anyone else. They are lost in the 50's with no hope to save themselves. What won't bend will break. Every day of life, they pull another rabbit out of McCarthys' hat!!🤔
I think with the Liberal Front controlling Congressional maneuvering there be a time when the giveaways are gone they'll have NO CHOICE but to follow the same trail, as dis-enfranchised stragglers that are just as befuddled as McCarthy. I wonder why Cornbrooks and the other political oracles haven't bothered to address the 'Problems in Organization' of their comrades; I would say they know nothing of the MODERN-DAY political scene but are lost in the dust of their predecessors that started with McCarthyism. If there's room, I'd like for them to know they haven't fooled many if any of the people like me that knows the real story. I was a kid then and a political empty-head but it seems time has made them trade places.

Thanking you Most Gratefully I Remain, Bob Aswell Veteran and Friend.

BREAKING NEWS: Naylor Mill Exit Closed On Bypass Due To Vehicle Fire

At the moment the Naylor Mill Rd. exit off the Bypass is temporarily closed due to a vehicle on fire.

This is a serious problem as this is the main detour exit from the Rt. 13 ramp that has been close. This means travelers will have to go to the Royal Farms in Hebron and make a u-turn and we all know how unsafe that is.

John McCain: Traitor to the conservative cause

There are video clips floating about devoted entirely to showing the dramatic few seconds on the Senate floor when Sen. John McCain cast his no-vote to Obamacare repeal.

Pick one and watch it. They’re good visuals of what betrayal looks like. Title it: Traitor takes the stage.

Now some will no doubt call that ridiculous — that McCain, who cast the vote that denied Republicans in the Senate their seven-year dream of Obamacare repeal, can’t be guilty of betrayal because he’s not, and never has been, a GOPer. So how could be betray something he’s never been part of or represented, right?

Well, there is that. There is that point. But it’s a potatoes-potahtoes argument.

The fact is, McCain still wears the Republican pin. And on that score, on Obamacare, he really showed his RINO roots, his leftist leanings.

This is how it played. Just feet from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, McCain stands, extends his arm. The chamber is silent. Suddenly, McCain cups his hand and with a quick flick, turns his thumb downward. Gasps echo and McConnell’s mouth draws tight. McCain lumbers back to his seat, and Obamacare repeal fails, 49-51.

Game over. Drama done. And now, hours after the fact, voters are left picking through the news, trying to discern the reasons Republicans ceded this battle to the Democrats.

Well, here’s a quick and simple thought..
