FW: Sending $700 Billion Overseas

Last week, we added up the costs of all the government bailouts and stimulus packages (over $1 trillion), and asked how you would spend that money to better America.

Hundreds of ideas were submitted, but one kept popping up - energy - and how it ties into our overall economic problems.

It's no accident that our current economic situation comes at a time when we're sending $700 billion a year overseas for energy. That money could be used to produce more American-made energy and create more American jobs.

Yes, gas prices have dropped, but the problem has not gone away. We still need a comprehensive energy policy that will spur economic growth here in America.

At Solutions Day, our General Chairman Newt Gingrich and Texas Railroad Commissioner Michael Williams outlined solutions to our energy and economic crisis.

After you watch the presentation above, download this energy checklist with ten proposed solutions to reduce our dependence on foreign oil and grow our economy.

The time to vote is near, and knowing where your elected officials and candidates stand on these issues is very important.

Sincerely,

Dave Ryan
President
American Solutions
