Update On Jeannie Haddaway Visit

After Jeannie explained the scenario about how LLC's are being treated by our State Legislature, whereby she explained that the original cost for registering an LLC was $100 annually. . . then they proposed $300 annually . . . then it went to $500 annually. . .that this State is not safe for any business to conduct business . . period.

And then when the Rural Broadband bill was to be implemented the Democrats wanted to tax the installation per mile at some astronomical rate. The way it was passed. . . every they have to cross a stream, tributary, or ditch then their are environmental impact studies and a special tax assessment. And this is for trenching in broadband!

Another thing. . . I wasn't aware until last night that Maryland was ranked #1 in the nation in real estate value decline. And also, there is an exodus or migration as the population is declining in Maryland.

Jeannie also mentioned that the Democrats tout that they eliminated 700 State jobs. . . but the record shows they created 1200 new ones and what is alarming is that they are still funding the 700 State jobs they claim to have eliminated.

Bottom line Joe. . . I knew it was bad around here especially for businesses. . but after last night it really makes one want to pick-up and move on to a more friendly environment. You should be thankful you live in Delaware.

On a personal note. When you read the Daily Slime this morning where the Governor is actually selling everyone on a whole different outlook for Maryland it makes you wonder, who's telling YOU the truth? Are you getting more accurate information from Salisbury News or the Daily Slime?
