'Cheaters, take heed!' Woman claims Washington Post food critic revealed husband’s affair

An anonymous woman revealed that a photo included in a Washington Post's food critic's review depicted her husband with another woman.

The revelation was made on Wednesday during a weekly online question & answer with the Post’s Tom Sietsema.

"Well, Tom, your latest review is accompanied by a picture of my husband dining with a woman who isn't me!" an anonymous entry read. "Once confronted with photographic evidence, he confessed to having an ongoing affair."

It continued, "Just thought you'd be amused to hear of your part in the drama. This Thanksgiving I'm grateful to you for exposing a cheat!"

‘The wrong black guy’: Clarence Thomas hammers Biden over Anita Hill questions

Justice Clarence Thomas condemned his treatment by the Joe Biden-led Judiciary Committee during his confirmation to the Supreme Court in 1991.

Thomas, 71, was featured in a yet-to-be-released documentary in which he describes his chaotic confirmation to the court amid allegations from Anita Hill that he had sexually harassed her prior to his nomination. The justice denied ever sexually harassing anyone, but Hill’s accusations became the focus of his confirmation, similar to the confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Thomas claimed he was targeted with the allegations because of his conservative views on abortion.

He told the filmmakers, “Do I have like stupid written on the back of my shirt? I mean come on. We know what this is all about. People should just tell the truth: 'This is the wrong black guy; he has to be destroyed.' Just say it. Then now we're at least honest with each other. The idea was to get rid of me. And then, after I was there, it was to undermine me."

Her elderly Shih Tzu, Stonewall, was trapped. The robotic vacuum had shut off right next to him, and when Dunavant looked more closely, she realized his tail was caught inside.

“He’s alligator rolling trying to get loose and freaking out,” she said.

N.Y. Driver’s License Law ‘Undermines National Security,’ Former DHS Official Warns

A new policy which will soon pave the way for illegal aliens to obtain driver’s licenses in the state of New York greatly undermines national security and immigration enforcement, a former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official warns.

The “Driver’s License Access and Privacy Act,” otherwise known as the ‘Green Light Law,’ is set to go into effect on Dec. 14, despite strong opposition from voters and some county clerks in the state.

While the law effectively compels the Department of Motor Vehicles to issue driver’s licenses to foreign nationals illegally present in the U.S., it also restricts “what information can be retained and given out on those applying or holding standard driver’s licenses.”

Charlie Kirk: Harder Line Immigration Policies Necessary to Save America

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk told Breitbart News that “huge reforms need to happen” with hard line policies regarding both legal and illegal immigration “if we’re serious about saving this country.” Kirk spoke to host Alex Marlow in a Wednesday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily.

“The reporting that Breitbart has been doing so consistently for the last, seven, eight, ten years on the cartels, I think helped President Trump come to this conclusion,” said Kirk of President Trump’s recent announcement that he would designate Mexican drug cartels as terror organizations.

“The southern border has become one of the most dangerous places on our continent because of the cartels,” he added, “and this is more than just a talking point — designating them as a terror organization — this will allow the seizure of assets, this will allow many different options to be used against what is, quite honestly, a very, very dangerous terrorist organization.”

Judicial Watch: FBI Uncovers New Clinton Emails

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released a court filing that reveals the FBI found more Clinton emails it recently turned over to the State Department for review. In the November 15, 2019 filing, the State Department informs the court that the FBI located additional Clinton emails that potentially had not been previously released:
[T]he Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”) recently sent [the State Department] additional documents as part of the ongoing inter-agency consultation process in connection with other FOIA litigation. [The State Department] is working to determine whether that set of documents includes any responsive, non-duplicative agency records that have not already been processed. [The State Department] will promptly update [Judicial Watch] and the Court once that initial review is complete.

The court ordered joint status report was filed in response to Judicial Watch’s May 6, 2015, FOIA lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00687)). Judicial Watch’s FOIA lawsuit seeks all emails sent and received by Hillary Clinton and other records about her non-governmental email account.

Buttigieg camp to return donations from Kavanaugh lawyers: 'We believe the women'

Pete Buttigieg’s 2020 presidential campaign said it will return thousands of dollars in donations from two female lawyers who represented Supreme Court Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh during his 2018 confirmation hearings.

The move comes after The Guardian reported Wednesday that the South Bend, Indiana, mayor’s campaign received $7,200 from Alexandra Walsh and $2,800 from Ms. Walsh’s law partner, Beth Wilkinson. The campaign said that while $3,150 of Ms. Walsh’s donation had already been returned because it exceeded limits, the rest would also be returned to both women because of their connections to Justice Kavanaugh.

“With nearly 700,000 donors, a contribution we would otherwise refuse sometimes gets through,” the campaign spokesperson told The Guardian. “We believe the women who have courageously spoken out about Brett Kavanaugh’s assault and misconduct, and we thank the Guardian for bringing this contribution to our attention.

California DMV Rakes In $50 Million Per Year Selling Personal Information

The California DMV has been selling the personal information of registered drivers to the tune of $50 million per year, according to a DMV document obtained by Motherboard.

In a previous investigation, Motherboard found DMVs in other states have been selling non-optional information drivers must provide in order to obtain a license, such as names, physical addresses and car registration information.

And while California didn't disclose exactly who they're selling to, other states were making a handy profit from customers which include data broker LexisNexis, Experian, private investigators and others.
In a public record acts request, Motherboard asked the California DMV for the total dollar amounts paid by commercial requesters of data for the past six years. The responsive document shows the total revenue in financial year 2013/14 as $41,562,735, before steadily climbing to $52,048,236 in the financial year 2017/18. -Motherboard

Trump surprises troops in Afghanistan on Thanksgiving

President Trump surprised American troops in Afghanistan on Thanksgiving after leaving his Florida residence overnight.

He visited Bagram Air Base on Thursday, delivering Thanksgiving greetings to U.S. troops deployed there in America’s longest-running war. This is Trump’s second visit to a combat zone. He previously visited troops in Iraq the day after Christmas in 2018.

In the president's address to the troops, he announced renewed peace talks between the United States and the Taliban, claiming the Taliban wants "to make a deal."

Elijah Cummings' family split over who should run for his seat as his daughters refuse to endorse their stepmother and back his longtime assistant instead

The late Rep. Elijah Cummings' daughters are backing his longtime aide Harry Spikes in a crowded primary field to succeed him - and not the longtime lawmaker's widow.

Jennifer Cummings, 37, and her sister Adia, 25, both support Spikes, who served on Cummings' staff for more than a decade and who was defeated in a prior primary for the Maryland House of Delegates.

Cummings widow, Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, 48, is also seeking the seat, as is Cummings' predecessor, former Rep. Kweisi Mfume, who was one of his oldest friends and is a former leader of the NAACP.

All three of the candidates spoke at Cummings funeral in October, as did his two daughters.

How A Fake Imam, The Krassenstein Brothers And A Canadian Played Roles In A Dubious Story About Ilhan Omar And Qatar

Foreign elements are pushing a dubious story, targeted at American conservatives, that Ilhan Omar is a secret agent of the nation of Qatar.

The claim comes from a deposition from a Canadian self-described problem-solver for the Saudi ruling family — the arch-nemesis of Qatar — who gave 200 pages of testimony that offered a haphazard smorgasbord of accusations against the country.

The Oct. 23 deposition of the fixer, Alan Bender, was taken as part of a case that had little to do with him, and most of the questions and answers had no seeming relevance to the case either.

“They Attack Me Because I Have Exposed – How They Covered Up Biden’s Massive Corruption!” – Rudy Giuliani Unloads on #FakeNews NY Times

The New York Times published another junk hit piece on Trump Attorney Rudy Giuliani on Friday accusing Americas Mayor of looting Ukrainian officials of millions, like the Bidens did, in exchange for work recovering $7 billion in stolen money.

Salon reported on the latest reports.
As Lutsenko was helping Giuliani search for evidence that would help Trump’s re-election chances, Giuliani negotiated a contract to represent Lutsenko for at least $200,000, according to documents obtained by The Washington Post and The New York Times.

Giuliani offered to represent Lutsenko in his bid to recover assets, which he believed were stolen from the government in Kyiv, in exchange for hundreds of thousands of dollars to be paid to Giuliani’s company. The negotiations took place as the two worked together to find damaging information on the Bidens and evidence to support Trump’s baseless conspiracy theory that Ukraine — not Russia — interfered in the 2016 election.

On Wednesday night Rudy Giuliani went off on the latest fake news attacks.

Cowardice and Capitulation: The Shocking Things Chick-fil-A Funds

There’s a lot of talk about Chick-fil-A. Most of it is generated by the #fakenews establishment that wants nothing more than to demonize an organization that, historically, has publicly professed its Christian faith that is inseparable from its business practices.

“[We are] based on biblical principles, asking God and pleading with God to give us wisdom on decisions we make about people and the programs and partnerships we have. And He has blessed us."

Those were the words of Chick-fil-A’s CEO, Dan Cathy, to the Baptist Press back in 2012 as he confirmed his biblical belief that marriage is between one man and one woman.

The Chick-fil-A Foundation’s recent announcement about its future funding again re-affirmed its re-direction and capitulation. It just so happens that the same three groups targeted for years by LGBT organizations as anti-LGBT “hate groups” just happened to be the same ones that would no longer be funded.

In explaining Chick-fil-A’s funding decisions, Rodney Bullard, VP of Corporate Responsibility and Executive Director of the Chick-fil-A Foundation said: “We don't want our intent and our work to be encumbered by someone else's politics or cultural war. If something gets in the way of our mission, that is something that we are mindful of and cognizant of.”

Chick-fil-A funds the deeply political YWCA, a radically pro-abortion and pro-LGBTQ organization that repeatedly partners with Planned Parenthood.

Chick-fil-A also funds the DC-based New Leaders Council that identifies as a “hub of progressive millennial thought leadership” which exists to “support one another along their individual path to a more progressive political and cultural landscape.”

Chick-fil-A has given a sizable donation ($50k) to The Pace Center for Girls, yet another pro-abortion organization.

Five-Time Freed Illegal Alien Accused of Killing 70-Year-Old Father of Two

An illegal alien who was repeatedly freed from Florida law enforcement custody is now accused of killing a 70-year-old husband and father of two in a hit-and-run crash.

Ulises Mondragon Umanzor, a 30-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador, allegedly illegally drove a forklift while illegally working for a construction company and hit 70-year-old James “Jim” Zakos, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.

While Zakos was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead, Umanzor allegedly fled the crash and eventually got off the forklift and walked away even as an eyewitness told him to return to the traffic accident scene.

Pompeo affirms U.S. support for 'courageous' Iranians as uprising met by grisly crackdown

Opponents of Iran’s theocratic regime have long predicted — wrongly — that the regime’s collapse was imminent.

But violent protests against the government rocking more than 100 Iranian cities in recent weeks, coupled with Washington’s rising economic and military pressure against Tehran, appear to be shaking the Islamic republic’s leaders at a level not seen in years.

Many analysts warn that the regime’s grip on power remains solid and capable of crushing a sustained uprising, but the Trump administration is eager to seize on the unrest, which some Iranian exile groups claim is far wider in scope — and deadlier — than Iran’s leaders have acknowledged.

Four days after asking Iranians to send information about the uprising via the encrypted Telegram messaging service, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Tuesday that U.S. officials had received thousands of notes, including grisly videos depicting horrific crackdowns by authorities across Iran.

“We have received to date nearly 20,000 messages, videos, pictures, notes of the regime’s abuses,” Mr. Pompeo told reporters at the State Department. “We will continue to sanction Iranian officials who are responsible for these human rights abuses.”

The secretary of state stopped short of calling outright for “regime change” in Iran. Instead, he offered the following message: “To the courageous people of Iran who refuse to stay silent about 40 years of abuse by the ruling regime, I say simply this: The United States hears you. We support you and we will continue to stand with you in your struggle for a brighter future for your people and for your great nation.”

Judge delays Michael Flynn's sentencing over DOJ watchdog FISA report

A federal judge postponed retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn's criminal sentencing set for next month until after the release of the Justice Department watchdog's report on alleged government surveillance abuses against a member of the Trump campaign.

Federal prosecutors had been scheduled to inform the court whether they had reversed their recommendation of no prison time for President Trump's first national security adviser. Instead, the Justice Department and Flynn's defense team filed a joint motion asking for a delay because they expect Inspector General Michael Horowitz's report to "examine topics related to several matters raised by the defendant."

U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan of Washington agreed with that request on Wednesday and delayed the sentencing hearing, which was scheduled for Dec. 18, until further notice.

Gun-Rights Leader: Virginia ‘Second Amendment Sanctuary’ Movement Just Getting Started

The head of the group pushing Virginia counties to refuse to enforce unconstitutional gun laws, declaring themselves "Second Amendment sanctuaries," told the Washington Free Beacon he has seen an unprecedented groundswell of support that he expects to only grow.

When Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) president Philip Van Cleave spoke with the Free Beacon on Tuesday afternoon, 15 of Virginia's 95 counties had passed sanctuary resolutions; five more joined that night.

"I've never seen anything like this, and I've been doing this for over 20 years," he told the Free Beacon. "It's a sleeping giant that had been pretty much not paying attention to politics, and now they're awake, and now they're flooding these sanctuary county hearings. Flooding them."

Nolte: Schiff Rigged Impeachment Hearings by Hiding Exculpatory Evidence

In an obvious attempt to rig the impeachment process, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) hid exculpatory testimony from Mark Sandy, an official at the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

Mark Sandy is as close to the horse’s mouth as you are going to get, and ten days ago — ten whole days ago — he testified in one of Schiff’s secret basement hearings, and said in no uncertain terms President Trump paused the aid package to Ukraine for one reason and one reason only: “I recall in early September an email that attributed the hold to the President’s concern about other countries not contributing more to Ukraine.”

To back up this claim, Sandy said the OMB had been asked to provide data “on what other countries were contributing to Ukraine.”

Trump: Time for Mexico to 'Wage WAR' on Drug Cartels

President Donald Trump on Tuesday accused Mexico of not doing enough to fight drug cartels, calling for the country “to wage war” in the wake of a deadly attack on a family of nine U.S. citizens in northern Mexico.

Three adult women and six children, all members of the LeBaron family that settled with a breakaway group of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the area decades ago, were killed in an attack just near the border. The incident, which was committed by unknown assailants, is still being investigated.

“This is the time for Mexico, with the help of the United States, to wage WAR on the drug cartels and wipe them off the face of the earth,” Trump tweeted. “We merely await a call from your great new president!”

FACEBOOK DOWN: SOCIAL NETWORK STOPS WORKING ALONGSIDE INSTAGRAM AMID MAJOR THANKSGIVING OUTAGE

Facebook has stopped working, amid a major Thanksgiving outage.

Users complained that the social network broke at the same time as Instagram, which is owned by the same company. WhatsApp, which is owned by the same company, did not appear to be affected by the issues.

Vast numbers of people complained about the issue, according to tracking website Down Detector. The issues were seen across the world, but not everyone appeared to be affected.

Many Facebook users said they were able to get on the site as normal, but that important parts of its functionality were broken. That included sharing new posts, for instance.

Facebook Messenger, which is part of the Facebook platform but exists as a separate app, was also affected by the problems.

Report: Chick-Fil-A Funded Anti-Christian SPLC, Other Leftist Groups

Tax records show Chick-fil-A donated to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) in 2017, an anti-Christian group that lists any organization disavowing same-sex marriage as a “hate-group,” including churches, according to Townhall.com.

According to the Chick-fil-A Foundation’s 2017 IRS 990 form, the fast-food corporation gave $2,500 to the SPLC. It was the SPLC that motivated a terrorist shooter in 2012 to launch an assault on the Family Research Council with a semi-automatic pistol, 100 rounds of ammo, and 15 Chick-fil-A sandwiches.

“Southern Poverty Law [Center] lists anti-gay groups. I found them online,” said the shooter in an interrogation video made public by the FBI, adding that his plan was to “kill as many as possible and smear the Chick-fil-A sandwiches in victims’ faces, and kill the guard.”

Tony Perkins, the president of the Family Research Council condemned the donations to SPLC and called for a Christian boycott of Chick-fil-A.

“Not only has Chick-fil-A abandoned donations to Christian groups including the Salvation Army, it has donated to one of the most extreme anti-Christian groups in America. Anyone who opposes the SPLC…is slandered and slapped with the ‘extremist’ label or even worse, their ‘hate group’ designation,” Perkins said. “It’s time for Christians to find a fast food alternative to Chick-fil-A.”

Sen. Chris Coons: ‘I Don’t Think There Will Be the Votes’ in Senate on Impeachment

Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.) told reporters this week that he doesn’t believe the Senate will convict President Donald Trump if impeachment moves to the upper Congressional chamber.

“From what I’ve heard publicly and privately, I don’t think there will be the votes to remove him if this does come to an impeachment trial in the Senate,” he told CNN. “As a senator, the pledge I’m going to take is to weigh all the evidence in front of me,” Coons added.

“I think the challenge now over this Thanksgiving break is for Republican House members and senators to reflect on what role they want to play in this. Whether they want to simply follow the polls and think about what’s perhaps in their best interest at the next election, or think about history and what precedent we’re setting,” Coons remarked.

Watch: Vice President Pence delivers a Thanksgiving message to our troops

Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence made a surprise trip overseas this past weekend, visiting brave American soldiers who are stationed in Iraq over this Thanksgiving holiday.

“The President wanted us to be here at the start of this holiday week to make sure you all know how thankful we are and every American is for your courageous service here in Iraq,” the Vice President told service members at Al Asad Air Base.

During the holiday season, we are reminded again of the sacrifice our military men and women make—especially those who serve far away from their families back home. As the Vice President and Second Lady visited two air bases over the weekend, they offered appreciation on behalf of a grateful nation and handed out Thanksgiving meals.

“In gatherings large and small all across the country, I know there’ll be a place saved at Thanksgiving tables for each and every one of you,” the Vice President said.

“But I also know that millions of Americans—when they pause to reflect on what they’re thankful for—they’re going to breathe a prayer of thanksgiving for each and every one of you and all of the men and women of the Armed Forces of the United States deployed around the world. I promise you that.”

Charles Schwab charitable fund halts donations to NRA

Charles Schwab, the nation's largest discount brokerage firm, has stopped allowing customers to donate to the National Rifle Association through the company's $10 billion donor-advised charitable fund.

The financial firm's decision to suspend contributions to charities linked to the gun owners advocacy group, which has not been previously reported, was made in the past few months. It comes at a time the NRA has faced a drop in donations, as well as allegations that it abused its non-profit status. Schwab's fund had donated a total of $146,000 to NRA-affiliated charities in its past three fiscal years, according to IRS filings.

Attorneys general in the District of Columbia and New York have opened investigations into whether the NRA illegally transferred millions of dollars in tax-exempt payments from its non-profit, the NRA Foundation, to the parent organization. Donations made directly to the NRA would not qualify as tax exempt. The NRA has previously said that all of the transfers were done properly.

“The Mexican drug cartels kill more than 100,000 Americans every year by the importation of dangerous narcotics,” O’Reilly said to President Trump during an interview aired on O’Reilly.com. “Are you going to designate those cartels in Mexico as terror groups?”

“They will be designated … I have offered him (the Mexican president) to let us go in and clean it out,” President Trump responded. “He, so far, has rejected the offer. But at some point, something has to be done.”
