Breaking News: It took the Philadelphia Eagles three tries over 52 years, but they are finally Super Bowl champions with a 41-33 victory over New England
Nick Foles, who started the season as a backup, outplayed the league M.V.P. Tom Brady to lead the Philadelphia Eagles to a 41-33 victory over New England in the Super Bowl. It was the first Super Bowl title for Philadelphia.
Hey Julie Brewington, Put Some Clothes On !
A Viewer Writes: Mr. Albero, Once again, Ms. Brewington proves what an embarrassment she is to Wicomico Republicans. Is there no one else to organize a pro-Trump event to counter the protest on Saturday? She constantly posts things like this then deletes them. But people are watching. This concerned grandmother is watching. Also, sound is screwed up in the beginning but picks back up about a minute and a half into the video. Thank you sir for all you do.
Editors Notes: There is no sound the first minute or so. Part of the way into it her cell phone goes off playing the song, "Let's Get It On".
I have to agree with the person who sent this to me, it's a total embarrassment to the Republican Party. The mere fact that her top is completely open, (purposely unzipped all the way) and flashes the viewers the entire 10 minutes is, well, you fill in the blank.
If this is how you have to garnish attention, I doubt many will ever take her seriously.
This Is Why Salisbury Maryland Mayor Jake Day Wants A Roundabout, Good Ol' Boys
This morning your local one sided media announced a new 10,000 sq. ft. restaurant coming to Salisbury, directly across the river from Brew River. Now let me explain a little something to you that your local news DIDN'T tell you.
I've leased 10,000+ sq. ft. commercial space. ANYONE who knows what 10,000 sq. ft. actually means knows the image above is a LOT more then 10,000 sq. ft.. So why is this an issue, because ANYONE who travels Riverside Drive and or travels through that 5 point intersection knows that when you pack that exact corner with a multitude mixed use commercial/residential space it is going to be literally impossible to pull out of that massive parking lot and make a left hand turn.
All anyone has to do is research the former owners of this property to understand the Good Ol' Boys getting what no one else could've ever dreamed of and that is exactly why that property sat empty for decades.
OK, so let's also picture ourselves heading down Riverside Drive east bound trying to get to business Rt. 50. Why hasn't anyone thought about the TWO traffic lights at Mill Street and Rt. 50 being RED? You do realize the roundabout will be at a 100% stand still while those lights are red. Now add this new development into the mix. People fighting like mad just to get into any spot they can from ANY of the 5 directions to the roundabout.
Ladies & Gentlemen, it doesn't take a genius to figure these things out in advance but what you are going to experience is going to be disastrous.
To the people who were interviewed who said this will be great for local economic development, REALLY? More $3.00 an hour jobs, more empty retail space and customers who refuse to return because they don't have a half hour to wait to get out of the parking lot. The Economic Development statement has been so dumbed down locally to a point where people actually believe retail is positive for a community. No, manufacturing and distribution is Economic Development. Creating great paying, long term jobs are Economic Development.
Finally, since this structure is a lot more then 10,000 sq. ft. can we please demand that your local media explain what the game plan is for the rest of the space on this property. My guess is that the alleged 10,000 sq. ft. is about 10% of the overall space, so you only got 10% of the real story.

Breaking News: Wicomico Council President John Cannon Purchases Over Nine Million Dollars In Rental Properties
It was only Salisbury News that called out Council President John Cannon for not recusing himself when he voted to DROP county property taxes recently. In fact, here are two articles we delivered on that exact matter HERE and HERE.
There's probably no doubt that Cannon was in negotiations at that time to purchase Stu Leer's properties, worth millions. An inquiry needs to take place with the ethics board.
Cannon is quoted as saying he will be on the ballot in the upcoming elections but refuses to say what he will be running for. We also found it very questionable that Cannon has sat as Council President for four years. Traditionally Council Members swapped that seat each year.
The Good Ol' Boys are alive and well and the Cannon Family is now probably the largest Landlord organization and property owners in all of Wicomico County.
County and City residents are a glutton for punishment (if you ask me). You see, very few of you step up to the plate, much like Donald Trump and run for office for all the right reasons.
I'm reaching out to Wicomico County Executive Bob Culver to call for a formal investigation on this matter and shame on the rest of the crooked media for covering this up. The sale/purchase was made two weeks ago.
An individual that holds the largest majority of rental properties in Wicomico County does NOT belong in any position to make such decisions.

Two Charged With Child Abuse In Wicomico Co.
(MARDELA SPRINGS, MD) – Two women were arrested today and charged with multiple counts of child abuse involving children in their custody in Wicomico Co.
Those charged are identified as Amanda R. Wright, 29, and Besline Joseph, 25, both of the 14000-block of Norris Twilley Road, Mardela Springs, Md. Both are charged with three counts each of first degree child abuse, second degree child abuse, first degree assault, second degree assault, reckless endangerment, neglect of a minor, stalking, use of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure, false imprisonment and one count each of causing ingestion of a bodily fluid, preventing/interfering with report of suspected child abuse or neglect, and conspiracy to commit first degree child abuse.
The suspects were arrested this morning at their home on arrest warrants obtained from the District Court Commissioner’s Office in Wicomico County. They will be taken to the Wicomico County Detention Center for processing and their initial appearance before a court commissioner.
On January 26, 2018, information was received at the Maryland State Police Salisbury Barrack regarding allegations of child abuse involving the suspects. An investigation was immediately initiated by the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division, in cooperation with Child Protective Services personnel assigned to the Wicomico Child Advocacy Center. Based on the allegations, Child Protective Services officials removed the three children from the home the night the investigation began.
Investigators determined the three victims, ages 8, 9 and 10, resided with Wright and her live-in girlfriend, Joseph. The investigation has revealed that since late spring or early summer of 2017, the three children endured physical beatings on multiple occasions from both suspects. The beatings are believed to have been inflicted with hands, extension cords, belts, sticks and other objects. The children sustained bloody noses, bruises and cuts. The investigation also revealed the suspects assaulted the children multiple times with an electronic control device.
Investigators have learned the children were reportedly locked in closets and a basement. There was limited time when they were not confined. They were reportedly fed a diet of bread, water, oatmeal and, at times, were forced to eat dog feces. The children were said to have been threatened with death if they told anyone about the abuse.
During the search warrant service today, investigators obtained an electronic control device. They also found other evidence that supported information developed during the investigation.
The investigation is continuing.

It's Time To Clear The Air

Calling your readers "idiots", "stupid", and "dummy". What a way to run a news blog.
Calling your readers "idiots", "stupid", and "dummy". What a way to run a news blog.
OK, let's clear the air on a couple things right here and now. First of all, I did own a huge manufacturing and distribution company that created and employed thousands of people. I also owned a chain of upscale billiard rooms as well as a restaurant and bar. I took ALL of the risks, did not depend on banks and was blessed to be able to afford to retire at 40 years old. While a select few enjoy coming here to challenge anything I say, I walked the walk. I also ran for Mayor of Salisbury and put my money where my mouth is. Win, lose or draw, yes, you will be called an Idiot for challenging me and looking so stupid.
That being said, let's talk about the second anonymous comment. At this very second as I write this I have 140,887 comments in SPAM. I spend my retirement working on this Blog 365 days a year. While it takes a tremendous amount of time reading tons of articles each and every day and choosing what should or shouldn't get published, I also have to sit here moderating around 600 to 800 comments every single day, most of which you never see and do not know just what kind of crap I have to read. Personal attacks against my Wife, our Grandson and our children. Racist comments like there's no tomorrow.
I have published 1,029,245 comments and Lord only knows just how many we have simply rejected/deleted. Blogger doesn't give us those numbers. So take a moment to try to understand that there are a select and small group of people who make it their mission hundreds of times per day to send in very hateful comments in the hope one of their hateful, racist or personal attack comments will get through. Pretty sick, right?
Nevertheless, I have also been sued and the Good Ol' Boys have done everything in their powers to shut me down. Not long ago a man came up to me and said, I heard you run a hateful Blog attacking people. I got right in his face, (as I've simply had enough of this kind of crap) and said, YOU tell me what I ever said to hurt you personally! He replied, what does that have to do with anything. I replied, I think I'll spend the rest of my time telling everyone here how YOU are a hateful person and you run a crooked business. He instantly got angry and said, why would you do that. I replied, well, what makes what you said any different! Have I ever done anything wrong to you, NO! YOU have NO RIGHT spreading rumors about people when they've never done anything wrong to YOU. He fully respected my position at that point and so should ALL of YOU.
It's easy to run around saying bad things about people. What I do here is deliver factual and documented information. Now, a select few may not like being exposed but too bad, I tell the truth. I've stood up in court far too often fighting against people in powerful positions claiming I did or said something wrong, they LIED and that FACT was proven in court. Did your local media follow up on those lies, NO.
Bottom line, if you don't like what I do and deliver every single day, go away. If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times. No one has a gun to your head to come here. All you have to do is look at our header and see we have experienced over 59,000,000 hits. I don't give a crap how others want to challenge our numbers, I do not lie. I am the biggest local news source on the entire Shore, period. Others can call themselves leaders or matters, one individual, (me) is up against hundreds of employees and I'm kicking their A$$. I don't have to have advertising rates in the thousands of dollars to help local businesses. Those advertisers are paying for helicopters, ($300.00 an hour to fly in fuel alone), drones and Idiots standing at 5:00 AM in complete darkness to do a story from Cambridge.
So if you don't like me making some of the statements I do, walk in my shoes every day and know there are hundreds of thousands of stupid comments I reject each and every day and yes, sometimes I get sick and tired of dealing with their crap. Enough said.
Another Jim Ireton Fairy Tale
As The Stomach Turns
Jim Ireton has in fact dropped out of the Clerk of Court race. Some are already saying too many eyes are on the election machines. It may be one thing, (in the past) to fool voters while running against a Blogger but it's another when you are running against a credible candidate. History shows, if Ireton can't control an election he simply drops out, like he did with Jake Day and now the Clerk of Court position. When the election is credible, he loses in a very big way.
His run for Congress was a complete disaster. However, some are saying Jim has changed his mind and is now setting his sights on Carl Anderton's Delegate position and one person even said they heard he's considering running against County Executive Bob Culver.
Jim was Liberal friends with Norm Conway and the Anderton story may be more credible. With the LGBTQ, (or whatever they're calling it today) environment one has to wonder, is our Eastern Shore shifting towards this Snowflake environment. It should also be noted, Norm Conway refused to step down before his time was coming to an end because he didn't want Jim Ireton appointed.
It should also be noted, this would be the FOURTH position in the past two years Jim Ireton is running for a political position. That's one every six months. Maybe he enjoys the money he raises, I don't know. So much for truly representing the citizens of Salisbury in his district.
Petition: Allow SNAP benefits for pet food
An online petition asks for a U.S. food assistance program to help pets.
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits can’t be used to buy pet food, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, but people want that changed.
People have shown support through more than 87,000 electronic signatures on an online petition.
“Some argue that people should not keep pets if they cannot afford them, but the fact is that an individual or family's financial status can change at any time,” part of the petition says. “Should someone be forced to give up a pet they've had for years just because they hit a financial rough patch?”

Bernie Sanders holds his own SOTU response livestream
Washington (CNN)Sen. Bernie Sanders, the independent senator from Vermont, held his own State of the Union response on Tuesday where he slammed President Donald Trump for being "compulsively dishonest" and creating a looming immigration "crisis" by ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
Sanders' response, which sounded a lot like his stump speeches during his campaign for the Democratic nomination in the 2016 election, was broadcast live online late Tuesday.
Sanders slammed the Trump administration's tax cuts, border wall proposal and called the President a "bully" in his live stream, using the same term Rep. Joe Kennedy used in his official response to the State of the Union for the Democratic party.
"Trump talked about DACA and immigration (during his State of the Union address) but what he did not tell the American people is that he precipitated this crisis in September," Sanders said. "We need to seriously address the issue of immigration."
He also slammed Trump for not acknowledging Russia's interference in the 2016 election.
"How can this President not talk about the reality that Russia interfered in this election," he said, adding, "And, according to his CIA director, will likely interfere in the 2018 midterms we will be holding ... Unless you have a very special relationship with Mr. Putin."

Health Department Shutting Down Fruitland Businesses
Without any real details we're being told a restaurant owner has been asked to shut down their business for today after yesterdays water disaster. Could it be the water is still contaminated? Hopefully after this comes out the Health Department will let the public, (and business owners) know just why they are losing so much money over the past 24+ hours.
Why No Press Release On Allen Home Invasion?
Mr. Sxyxy* is the father who owns the house. His daughter and her boyfriend live there with their baby. Police had been called around 3 am about a suspicious car with lights off driving up and down Allen roads. Three armed black males broke the door down demanding money. Put gun to Mr Sxyxy* head telling him they would kill him. Daughter begs them not too. Somehow the boyfriend got a gunshot graze wound to the head plus a bullet in the leg. He was transported by Allen VFD to hospital.
To us, this is a big deal. Crime on the Eastern Shore is out of control and local law enforcement are finding multiple and different ways to keep the public in the dark. Better to be judged by twelve then it is to be buried by six.
5 Times Democrats Should Have Stood and Clapped During Trump's State of the Union - But Didn't
When President Donald Trump gave his first State of the Union address last night, Democrats weren't happy about it. It was a real shame, because Trump offered them many olive branches — libertarians would say he gave them too many.
Here are 5 times Democrats should have stood and clapped, but didn't.
1. Black unemployment.
Early in the speech, President Trump noted that African-American unemployment has reached a record low. He declared, "Unemployment claims have hit a 45-year low. African-American unemployment stands at the lowest rate ever recorded, and Hispanic American unemployment has also reached the lowest levels in history."
Black congressional Democrats were stone-faced.

A Viewer Writes: Joe I saved these so I could remind everyone how Julie Brewington hated Trump.
Mentally unstable, flip flopper Julie Brewington goes off on multiple tangents against Donald Trump. These are just some of the documented pieces of evidence that we've retained. Obvious and multiple photoshoped images of Julie are abundant over the years, selfies galore.
This is going to get very interesting Wicomico County because this is just the beginning of what we have retained, (as evidence) over the years. Duct taping your childs face and putting the images on Facebook telling people this is how you keep your kids mouth shut id the Brewington way. Yes, that's the kind of people this family is, yet she goes off about abortion in one of her rants.
Julie Brewington, you have no idea the sh!tstorm you created. The entire Eastern Shore will know who you are and what you are capable of. My guess is that you will receive the lowest number of votes in the history of Wicomico County and it will all be based on the EVIDENCE we deliver on SBYNews. Karma is a Bitch!
Maxine Waters Is Giving A National Address On BET After Trump’s State Of The Union
Get your popcorn ready.
One of President Donald Trump’s fiercest critics on Capitol Hill will address the country just after next Tuesday’s State of the Union.
Rep. Maxine Waters, a California Democrat, will speak at the top of a BET News special after Trump delivers the State of the Union, a BET spokesperson told BuzzFeed News. The program, “Angela Rye’s State of the Union,” is part of a broader partnership announced just days ago between the network and the Democratic strategist and political commentator. Rye will executive produce news programs with a sharp focus on issues facing black Americans. The programs will run quarterly, BET said in a release.
The spokesperson said activists and some elected officials will analyze Trump’s first year in office on the program, and will talk about "building black politics and the value of engagement across today’s socio-political landscape." A Democratic source familiar with the production on Friday night told BuzzFeed News that it wasn't immediately clear if the program would air on Tuesday or Wednesday night.

ACLU Complains About Trump Using 'America' Over 80 Times in the State of the Union
According to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the word "America" changes its meaning when it comes from President Donald Trump's lips. Trump used the word 82 times in his State of the Union address, and liberals hate Trump so much, they can't help but hate America — or so it seems.
"So tonight we saw President Trump wrap himself in the American flag," ACLU National Political Director Faiz Shakir said in a video statement right after the State of the Union. "He used the term ‘America’ 82 times in his speech. And when so many of us hear the word 'America,' it sounds exclusionary; we look at the policies of his first year in office, it has felt like there are certain people who are not included in that vision of America."
Shakir doubled down on this video statement by releasing an official statement on the ACLU website.
“Tonight, President Trump said the word ‘America’ more than 80 times in his speech. Yet, after a divisive first year, we hear and feel how exclusionary that ‘America’ is, with policies that have harmed so many vulnerable American communities," the director said. "The ACLU stands ready to protect these communities, both in the courts and at the polls."

Maryland Official Plan to Sue Trump over Tax Reform
Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh revealed on Thursday that he plans to sue President Donald Trump over the recently passed Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
Frosh plans to join officials from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut to sue the federal government over the tax bill’s reduction on the state and local tax deduction (SALT). The state officials believe that the cap on the SALT deduction is unconstitutional.
Frosh, a Democrat, said in a press release, “By eliminating the SALT deductions, Trump’s tax bill will jack up taxes for more than half a million Marylanders,” Frosh, a Democrat, said in a news release. “It is an attack on state sovereignty and an attempt to cripple our ability to educate our kids, protect the Chesapeake Bay, and build the infrastructure that Maryland needs to be competitive in the world economy.”
Analysts believe that the legal challenge to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will likely fail, pundits argue that the federal government has broad authority taxes on income.
Meanwhile, the economy continues to expand under President Trump.

Why Is Hillary Clinton Friends With So Many Perverts?
Weinstein, Weiner, & Slick Willy too!
Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is caught up in yet another political mess after reports emerged that she protected a former campaign staffer accused of sexual assault from termination.
News recently surfaced that Clinton had been urged by her 2008 campaign to fire former staffer Burns Strider for alleged sexually inappropriate behavior toward female staff, but Clinton instead shielded him from dismissal and simply docked several weeks of his pay instead.
Are these revelations really that surprising considering Hillary’s past affiliations with several perverts?

Here Are Some of the Most Shocking Times Democrats Refused to Applaud During Trump's SOTU Address
With many of them clad in black, the Democrats who did show up to President Trump’s first State of the Union address Tuesday night were not happy about it. In fact, they seemed so focused on opposing everything he said they couldn’t even bring themselves to applaud things that are normally considered bipartisan.
They set the tone for their behavior that evening right away, by refusing to stand to greet Trump and many even first lady Melania Trump.
The resistance continued, with most Democrats also refusing to applaud:
- job creation
- higher wages
- lower African American and Hispanic unemployment rates
- bonuses for employees
- securing the border
- fighting the opioid epidemic
- merit-based immigration
- the American flag and the national anthem
- in God we trust
- a path to citizenship
- Recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital
- diminishing the Islamic State
- lower prescription drug costs
- defense and modernizing our nuclear arsenal

Employee theft ‘shockingly common’ at nonprofits
A board member for the Somerville Homeless Coalition was reviewing the nonprofit’s annual financial documents in 2015 when he spotted something odd. The forms said the chief operating officer, the No. 2 executive, earned $12,000 more than the organization’s top executive the previous year. Could that really be correct, he asked?
Turns out it wasn’t a typo. It was theft.
Somerville Homeless soon discovered that the COO — who handled all the finances — allegedly embezzled approximately $108,000 over 18 months. The charity said he brazenly added some of the money directly into his paycheck — where it showed up on the group’s annual financial forms — used the organization’s credit card for personal expenses, and added his middle-aged son to the group’s health insurance.
“The whole thing has been a nightmare,” said Mark Alston-Follansbee, executive director of the Somerville nonprofit, which provides food, shelter, and other assistance to about 2,000 people annually. “The money he stole from us could have prevented 100 families from going homeless.”
More than 1,100 tax-exempt organizations nationwide have reported theft, embezzlement, or other major diversions of assets over the past seven years, according to electronic filings with the Internal Revenue Service. And experts say the total number of thefts is almost certainly far higher, because most cases of fraud are either never detected or reported in the digital filings.
“It’s shockingly common,” said Gerry Zack, a certified fraud examiner who recently was named incoming chief executive of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, a Minneapolis-based organization.

Andrew McCabe, deputy director of the FBI and frequent Trump target, has resigned
FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe — one of President Trump’s top targets in the US law enforcement community — was forced to step down Monday, according to multiple reports.
“In terms of the situation today, we’ve seen the reports, we don’t have any specific comments,” administration spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, adding that Trump was not involved in the decision as far as she was aware.
CBS News said McCabe, who had planned to retire in March, “was urged” to vacate his office Monday, and that he will no longer report to work but will remain on leave until March, when he becomes eligible for his full retirement benefits.
McCabe was named the bureau’s acting director after Trump canned former top G-man James Comey last May.
McCabe was then named deputy director after Christopher Wray was tapped to head up the bureau.

Maryland lawmaker files ‘Jared Kushner Act’ to limit tenant arrests
A Maryland lawmaker has sponsored the “Jared Kushner Act,” a bill that would prevent state judges from issuing arrest warrants for tenants who are being sued for less than $5,000 in unpaid rent.
Del. Bilal Ali, a Baltimore Democrat, said Wednesday he named the bill after President Donald Trump’s son-in-law because Kushner’s apartment management company was the state’s most aggressive landlord in obtaining civil arrest warrants against tenants.
“I think that people have a right to know who’s dragging them off to jail,” Ali said. “I mean, he has to take ownership for that.”
Christine Taylor, a spokeswoman for Kushner Cos., said the company’s local counsel in Maryland handled matters consistent with other attorneys in similar situations in the state and in accordance with Maryland law. The arrest warrants are known as “body attachments,” and Taylor noted that they are not issued by a court unless there is a failure to abide by two court orders.
Ali said he filed the bill to protect his constituents. Four other Democrats in the Maryland House of Delegates are co-sponsors.
“My thoughts around this particular bill were that a lot of my constituents were being penalized because they were poor, and we’ve always had these regressive policies that have always impacted poor people,” Ali said.
