Sam Vincent Needs To Take A Leave Of Absence
Usually I take one side or the other but in this case I cannot do so. I will however state the following. Sam Vincent needs to do the honorable thing and take a leave of absence. If he does not do so, well, quite frankly that will be a major mark against him as far as I'm concerned.
If Sam wants to run an honorable race he'll do so by stepping down for the time being and not placing Davis Ruark in a position in which he'd have to fire him, standard procedure for someone trying to take their superiors job.
This decision, (either way) will determine whether or not this will be a battle to the end or two men showing respect for each other and willing to run a fair race. Sam has plenty of time in and can easily take the time off and I'm confident Davis Ruark will welcome such a leave.
Now, moving forward, here's the deal Folks. Yesterday I removed comments from one Post because less than a hand full of you, JT, JR, TM & BB started hammering the nasty comments and quite frankly I just didn't want to moderate them.
That being said, in future articles I will NOT allow the nasty attack comments towards either party, Davis or Sam. You either stay on topic or your comment will be rejected. For those of you worried about the comments that talk about local men screwing around on their wives all the time, they say that about me too, so get over it. If their Wives aren't strong enough to handle such BS, they shouldn't be running for Office.
This is the South, this is the Eastern Shore. Many of us greet each other with a hug, a kiss on the cheek it's a sign of respect, NOT CHEATING! Good Lord, if it was considered cheating, well, my Wife better get an attorney and a camera because I've cheated a million times.
Seriously though Folks, there are jobs on the line, reputations and futures as well. This is going to be probably the first decent race I have ever personally seen on the Eastern Shore and quite frankly I'm going to enjoy being right smack dab in the middle of it, I THINK?
Everyone who comes here knows I tell it like it is. I never kiss any one's A$$ and quite frankly for a guy in my position with people like Barrie Tilghman and Chief Webster, this is a really touchy one for me. However, I respect the law, I believe in our Judicial System, (except when I lose) and I am going to do my absolute best keeping things fair for both parties.
The Daily Times will come out with who they support and as anyone can guess they'll support Sam Vincent because it will sell papers. They'll attack Davis Ruark, just as they do Frank White, because it sells papers. They'll get additional attention from Salisbury News and while the spontaneous attention will make them feel good, it will not help their reputation and Salisbury News will grow once again during and after this race is over and done with.
So let the games begin and let me make something very clear here. I will promote BOTH parties. Man, this is going to get really good. The ONLY way it could get ANY better is if one more person steps into the ring and challenges Sam and Davis. Where's Bo when you really need him!
Good Luck Gentlemen!
Maryland State Trooper Todd In Yet ANOTHER Vehicle Accident

CHARGES FILED AGAINST QUEEN ANNES COUNTY MAN IN STEVENSVILLE HOMICIDE ARSON
The accused is identified as Thomas Scherer, 82, of the 300-block of Oxbow Drive in Stevensville, Maryland. After consultation with the Queen Anne’s County State’s Attorney’s Office, Maryland State Police homicide investigators obtained a warrant charging Scherer with first and second degree murder, first degree arson, and first and second degree assault. The charges will be served upon Scherer’s release from Easton Memorial Hospital where he remains a patient.
The victim’s body was transported to the Office of the State Medical Examiner for an autopsy. The autopsy today revealed the elderly woman died from blunt force trauma and the death was ruled a homicide.
State Police from the Centreville Barracks responded to a 911 call at 10:00 a.m. yesterday for a possible assault and house fire at Scherer’s residence in Stevensville. When police arrived, Thomas Scherer was standing outside of the burning home.
As firefighters extinguished the fire, they found Scherer’s wife, Magda Scherer, 82, of the same address, in the master bedroom. She appeared to have suffered blunt force trauma injuries to the back of the head. Emergency personnel attempted to resuscitate her. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Thomas Scherer was transported by ambulance from the scene to Easton Memorial Hospital for a medical evaluation. He remains at the hospital where he is being guarded by state troopers from the Centreville Barrack.
Deputy state fire marshals conducted a detailed fire investigation. Preliminary results indicate the fire was intentionally set. A motive has not yet been determined.
The investigation continues…

Liberalism Is A Mental Disease
Eminent doctor makes case leftist ideology is a mental disorder
WASHINGTON – Just when liberals thought it was safe to start identifying themselves as such, an acclaimed, veteran psychiatrist is making the case that the ideology motivating them is actually a mental disorder.
"Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded," says Dr. Lyle Rossiter, author of the new book, "The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness." "Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave."
While political activists on the other side of the spectrum have made similar observations, Rossiter boasts professional credentials and a life virtually free of activism and links to "the vast right-wing conspiracy."
For more than 35 years he has diagnosed and treated more than 1,500 patients as a board-certified clinical psychiatrist and examined more than 2,700 civil and criminal cases as a board-certified forensic psychiatrist. He received his medical and psychiatric training at the University of Chicago.
Rossiter says the kind of liberalism being displayed by both Barack Obama and his Democratic primary opponent Hillary Clinton can only be understood as a psychological disorder.
"A social scientist who understands human nature will not dismiss the vital roles of free choice, voluntary cooperation and moral integrity – as liberals do," he says. "A political leader who understands human nature will not ignore individual differences in talent, drive, personal appeal and work ethic, and then try to impose economic and social equality on the population – as liberals do. And a legislator who understands human nature will not create an environment of rules which over-regulates and over-taxes the nation's citizens, corrupts their character and reduces them to wards of the state – as liberals do."

Hispanic Community in Wheaton gets a helping hand
Published on: Thursday, April 15, 2010 MC Sentinel
By Alix Farr
Members of the Latino community of Wheaton are finding new ways to meet their banking needs at the Community First Financial Center.
Recently opened by the Latino Economic Development Corporation, the center targets the "unbanked" and "underbanked" residents in the area in providing services such as remittance, check-cashing, phone cards, and bill-pay services, according to the corporation's spokeswoman Ash Kosiewicz.
But the goal is not just for short-term or one-time services, Kosiewicz says. Instead, the hope is that through these smaller transactions, patrons will be drawn in and begin taking advantage of LEDC's larger-impact services such as wealth building, small business, and home ownership counseling.
"We do our best to connect repeat customers with financial literacy classes," Kosiewicz said. One such customer Kosiewicz described, is a man who was using the center to cash checks and send remittances to his family in Colombia, but recently began using new services to help finance his home construction business.
These objectives are in line with Montgomery County Executive Isiah "Ike" Leggett's efforts to revitalize the Wheaton area, according to Montgomery County Economic Development Director Steve Silverman. "This is another piece of the puzzle to help Wheaton become a stronger community," Silverman said.
"They are a great organization and they provide services that government can't provide." In addition to providing fair and transparent prices to clients, the financial center also contributes to the wellbeing of the community by allowing money that is earned in the community to stay in the community, Silverman said.
"It will keep money in the community and not allow hard working community members to be ripped off," Silverman said. "We want people to be out getting payday loans. We don't people to get charged a lot for check cashing." In order to promote itself, the Community First Financial Center has been using radio and newspaper advertising, Kosiewicz said.
And in collaboration with the Census Bureau, the center was also able to offer free services to anyone that filled out the census at their office. Although it is currently the mostly-Latino population of Wheaton that is taking advantage of the center's services, Kosiewicz said that the goal is to reach the entire Washington, D.C. metropolitan community, helping many more lower-income families to reach their financial goals.
Curious About Water Boarding?
This is awesome! Watch it and understand why we have the best military in the world. There is no permanent damage done but the response is immediate. A much more humane and effective way to obtain critical intelligence quickly without brutalizing the prisoner..
Sure beats electrocution, ripping off finger nails, acid showers, whippings/beatings, cutting off limbs, removing eyes & tongues, drilling out teeth, dislocating shoulders, burning and other ways the Muslims use.
Only if you have a strong heart. Playboy.com journalist Mike Guy underwent water boarding by a trained member of the U.S. Military in the site's new Lab Rat feature.
Guy bet that he could endure 15 seconds of the interrogation technique used by the Bush administration on al Qaeda Chief Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Abu Zubaydah.

Tea Party And National Freedom Posse
Rutledge joins the Freedom Posse in a national effort to return a conservative majority to the U.S. Senate.
Forest Hill, Maryland- Republican U.S. candidate Jim Rutledge addressed Tea Party Patriots across Maryland in the fight to restore fiscal responsibility and accountability to Washington. Jim Rutledge joined State Senator Andy Harris at the Annapolis Tea Party and emphasized the need for America to rededicate itself to the Constitutional principles of limited federal government. Rutledge said, “The beast of unlimited government is roaming and devouring America.” The Rutledge for U.S. Senate campaign also carried its message to Tea Party events in Bel Air, Rockville, and Elkton. Jim Rutledge said, “I’m proud to unite with conservative congressional candidates like Robert Broadus and Christine Thron in this campaign of the people, for the people and by the people.”
Jim Rutledge believes it is important for the nation to restore allegiance to the Constitution and the 10th Amendment that wisely place limits on the powers of the federal government and put more faith in a free people and local and state government. Jim Rutledge said, “The Constitution was a gift of limited government. The founders built a strong cage within which to keep the beast of federal government power. They added the 10th Amendment to strengthen that cage but sadly, the beast has broken out.” Jim Rutledge stated, “Barbara Mikulski, Reid, and Obama have torn the Constitution apart.”
The Rutledge for Senate campaign continues to receive national attention for its participation with the Freedom Posse. The Freedom Posse boasts the support of four conservative candidates for the U.S. Senate. Jim Rutledge joined fellow Republicans, Don Bates Jr. of Indiana, Curtis Coleman of Arkansas, and Chris Widner of Washington in this nation wide campaign to restore a conservative majority to the U.S. Senate.

Muslim Belief
The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the United States, especially in the minority races!
Last month I attended my annual training session that's requiredfor maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs.
I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.
After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.
When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad (Holy war) against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?'
There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!'
I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?'
The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.'He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.'
I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!'
The Imam was speechless!
I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question: Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?'
You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame. Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the Diversification training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs.

At the head of the serving line was a large pile of apples. One of the nuns made a note that said: "Take only one, God is watching."
Seeing this Little Johnny made a note of his own and placed it at the other end of the serving line, in front of a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.
