Hypocrat of the Day

Majority Forward, a Democratic non-profit group with ties to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.), is launching digital ads for Sen. Claire McCaskill (D., Mo.) after she told Missourians to ignore "dark money" groups.

The statewide campaign, backed by a six-figure ad buy, will highlight the 50 town halls that McCaskill held across Missouri in 2017, Politico reported Wednesday.

The ads, which will run on Facebook and other platforms, will include a graphic of the locations of McCaskill's town halls and a quote from the Democratic senator: "Whether they agree with me or not, every Missourian is my boss."

The newly launched campaign comes after McCaskill, who is up for re-election in 2018, warned voters in April to disregard ads from "dark money" sources.

Jordan: ‘Everything Points’ to ‘an Orchestrated Plan’ Within DOJ, FBI to Prevent Trump from Becoming President

Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s Fox & Friends, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said he believed people in the FBI and the Justice Department were involved in “an orchestrated plan” to keep President Donald Trump from becoming president.

Jordan said:

I think they were putting together a plan to stop Donald Trump from being the next president of the United States. I think it’s amazing in spite of the fact that the Democrats were against him, the Republican establishment was against him, the mainstream press was against him. and now I believe the FBI and the Justice Department were against him, the American people still said that’s the guy we want to be the next president.

“But everything points to — from what we learned several weeks ago that they paid to the dossier to the fact that I believe that fake dossier was used as the basis to get Warren to now what we learn about Peter Strzok and Bruce Ohr and the FBI and the Justice Department, respectively,” he said, continuing, “Everything points to the fact that there was an orchestrated plan to try to prevent Donald Trump from becoming the President of the United States.”

Scientists Reveal Interstellar Object ‘Oumuamua’ Has Organic Shell

Observations of the oblong interstellar traveler Oumuamua have revealed an unidentified organic coating on it, igniting scientific and public curiosity alike.

After “Oumuamua” was initially spotted by a telescope in Hawaii by the Pan-STARRS project on October 19, experts raced to gather all possible information on it before it passed beyond humanity’s collective reach. But, while they expected to find a comet-like chunk of ice passing by our sun, the object mysteriously failed to leave behind a vapor trail as it grazed our home star. Instead, the still-unidentified chunk of ancient space debris hurtling at 60,000 MPH through our solar system left us with a host of new questions.

First, Oumuamua is exceptionally long and narrow — roughly 400 by about 40 meters. The shape is unlike any asteroids in our own solar system. Paul Chodas, Manager of NASA’s Centre for Near Earth Orbit Studies, called it “a strange visitor from a faraway star system, shaped like nothing we’ve ever seen in our own solar system neighborhood.”

See Redskins for cheap: Tickets as low as $6 for Sunday's game

WASHINGTON — Never been to a Redskins game? Now is your chance to get dirt-cheap tickets.

You can get tickets for this Sunday’s game between the Washington Redskins and the Arizona Cardinals at FedEx Field for as little as $6 in the upper level sections of the stadium, according to prices posted on ticket website Stubhub.

That’s cheaper than the beer sold at the stadium, a foot-long at Subway and even the highest peak fare on Metro.

If you’re looking to get closer to the field, you can find tickets for $11 or $12 in the end zone.

Parking at a regular Redskins game can easily cost you $50. But there’s also parking in the lots around FedEx Field that are less than half that — as little as $18.

The Redskins fell to the Los Angeles Chargers 30-13, dropping the team to 5-8 for the season.

Saipan: The Island Where Chinese Mothers Deliver American Babies

SAIPAN, Northern Mariana Islands—This U.S. territory in the western Pacific is known for its epic World War II battle, white-sand beaches and the enduring culture of its indigenous Chamorro people.

But for a certain class of Chinese parents, Saipan has become known as the latest hot spot for birth tourism, a place where women can give birth to babies who will automatically acquire U.S. citizenship.

The Northern Marianas, an island chain that includes Saipan, is the only U.S. soil that Chinese can visit without a visa, after a change in immigration policy in 2009 allowed Chinese and Russian tourists visa-free entry for up to 45 days.

Former Asst. FBI Director: "Patriots" Within FBI Set to Expose Mueller & Comey

“Something is about to happen”

Former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom told Fox Business that patriots within the FBI are about to go public with huge new revelations that could sink the credibility of the ‘Russian collusion’ investigation.

Kallstrom said that a “5th estate” has been working to sabotage President Trump, lead by “a bunch of sycophants in the FBI” who are guilty of “obstruction of justice”.

He added that the goal from the outset was to “destroy the presidency of the United States,” a claim backed up by the revelation that top anti-Trump FBI agents had settled on an “insurance policy,” namely the ‘Russian collusion’ investigation, to topple Trump if he defeated Hillary.

Happy Christmahanakwamadanice!

For the politically challenged, a PC greeting.

Years ago, The Patriot Post coined “Christmahanakwamadanice” to encompass Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan and Solstice. That was in response, albeit ludicrously so, to the fashionable PC crowd’s demands for “inclusive” greetings. They insist the word “Christmas” is too ethnocentric for corporate use, and that it would violate the phony “Wall of Separation” should a government employee accidentally utter it.

Needless to say, in The Patriot Post’s humble shop, it’s still “Merry Christmas” and it’ll stay that way so long as we’re able to draw breath. However, for you politically challenged, we offer this alternative greeting.

Season’s Greetings from the legal department

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, our best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

Those arrested and charged are identified as Arnell Bivans, 24, of Fruitland, Md., Dae von Wheeless, 19, of Glen Burnie, Md., and Aitana Satchell, 20, Angela Collins, 21, Leonard Pompilus, 21, and Ellen Curry, 22, all of Salisbury, Md. A juvenile female was also arrested and charged as a juvenile.

Each suspect has been charged with conspiracy to commit second degree assault. Collins, Wheeless, Bivans and Pompilus have also been charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance and one count each of possession of heroin and possession of crack cocaine. Bivans is additionally charged with first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment and being a felon in possession of handgun. He was also found to be wanted on a warrant from Wicomico County for drug distribution.

At about 1:00 a.m. today, troopers from the Maryland State Police Salisbury Barrack responded to the report of an assault with shots fired in the 800-block of Parker Road, Salisbury, Md. Deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Salisbury Police Department also responded to the scene.

As they were arriving on the scene, police were told the suspects were fleeing in two vehicles. Police located the vehicles and conducted traffic stops. As they were stopping one vehicle with four occupants later identified as Collins, Wheeless, Bivans and Pompilus, police observed the car drive into a ditch and, moments later, drive back out before stopping. Searching the area after the stop, police recovered a handgun from the ditch where the vehicle had stopped. The preliminary investigation by the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division indicates the incident began about 10:30 p.m. yesterday, when four of the suspects drove to the home in the 800-block of Parker Road with the intent of fighting the woman who lived there, due to an ongoing dispute. The four suspects left the scene initially after seeing how many people were at the home.

Shortly before 1:00 a.m. today, the four suspects returned with the second vehicle containing three additional persons. The suspects approached the home on foot and witnesses said a physical altercation ensued when Satchell and Pompilus assaulted the intended victim outside her home. The victim’s parents called 911 and her mother then attempted to break up the fight. Witnesses told police it was then that Bivans pointed a handgun at the victim’s mother before firing multiple shots into the air.

No one reported any injuries in the incident.

Amid Anti-Trump Hysteria, Obama Treason Exposed

These days, we are living through a real-life international spy thriller full of vast conspiracies, lawless rogue government agents, unthinkable betrayals all driven by stupendous greed and a blithe willingness to lie about absolutely anything.

It could be the latest HBO sensation or a binge-worthy hit on Netflix.

The first major wormhole moment came after a U.S. Border Patrol agent was murdered in 2010 and guns at the crime scene were linked to the U.S. government.
Conspiracy nuts started talking about how the ATF had violated the very federal gun laws the bureau is charged with enforcing by knowingly allowing “straw purchasers” to obtain weapons that they would later sell to Mexican drug cartels.

We are talking tinfoil-hat crazy conspiracy stuff. Many good people dismissed the claims as preposterous, the daffy product of overactive imaginations and overstimulated partisanship. Like monsters underneath a child’s bed.

Then we learned every bit of it was honest-to-God truth. Under the Obama administration, our federal government was arming some of our most savage and destructive enemies — purportedly in the name of “tracking” the bad guys.

Since that startling revelation, similarly appalling betrayals and conspiracies have become almost routine..

The Times of Israel reports: United States Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley said the US will be “taking names” of countries that support a draft resolution rejecting President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, set for a General Assembly vote Thursday.

Turkey and Yemen requested the urgent meeting of the 193-nation forum on behalf of the Arab group of countries and the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) after the US vetoed the measure in the Security Council. The two countries circulated a draft resolution that mirrors the vetoed measure, reaffirming that any decision on the status of Jerusalem has no legal effect and must be rescinded.

Over 90% of America’s Top Colleges Regulate Campus Free Speech

Over 90 percent of the America's top colleges maintain policies regulating campus free speech, with one third employing severely restrictive policies, according to a study released Tuesday.

The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) reported in its annual end-of-year analysis on campus speech and harassment policies—what FIRE terms "speech codes"—found that over half of the 461 schools included in FIRE's study continue to use methods that have some "chilling effect" on expression.

One in nine campuses continue to preserve "free speech zones," or limited strips of campus to which administrators at public institutions restrict demonstrations, pamphleting, and other public expressions of views, according to the report. These zones can make up less than 1 percent of a campus, according to FIRE.

Samantha Harris, vice president of policy research at FIRE, said such policy is "blatantly unconstitutional."

Facebook Becomes Even More Intrusive by Asking Users to Map Their Face

Facebook has implemented facial recognition on its platform, and all you have to do is sign over your face.

For the low, low cost of free — insofar as “free” constitutes permission to access, store, and use your face — Facebook will add another layer of convenience to the largest data harvesting experiment in history. With the new facial recognition features, the lumbering social media network will alert you to uploaded photos in which you are featured — so long as you are in a group permitted to see them by the uploader. It will also work to prevent cat-fishing and revenge porn by alerting you when your face is in someone else’s profile picture. Finally, the features will allow visually impaired users to identify who is pictured with them.

Hillary In The Crosshairs As DOJ Prosecutors Begin Asking FBI Agents About Uranium One

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has instructed DOJ prosecutors to begin asking FBI agents for explanations regarding evidence pertaining to a dormant criminal investigation into the controversial Uranium One deal linked to Bill and Hillary Clinton, according to NBC.

The order comes as part of a promise made last month by Sessions to examine whether or not a special counsel was warranted in the deal which saw 20% of American Uranium sold to a Russian state-owned energy company in a 2010 transaction allowed by the Obama administration. Prior to the deal, individual connected with Uranium One deal had donated over $140 million to the Clinton Foundation. Moreover, Bill Clinton gave a $500,000 speech to a Russian bank which issued a favorable rating on Uranium One stock. Clinton and Putin met the same day of the speech at the Russian leader's private homestead.

A report by the New York Times and the book Clinton Cash by investigative journalist Peter Schweizer in 2015 are said to have convinced the FBI in large part to launch their investigation into the Clinton Foundation over several claims of pay-for-play before and during Hillary Clinton's role as Secretary of State, including the Uranium One deal and several international arms sales.

Congress to Investigate Obama Scheme to Nix Investigation into Hezbollah Terrorists

Lawmakers are launching an investigation into Obama-era efforts to thwart a longstanding U.S. investigation into the Iranian-backed terror group Hezbollah, according to multiple congressional officials and insiders who spoke to the Washington Free Beacon.

The Obama administration worked behind the scenes to thwart a decade-long Drug Enforcement Agency investigation into Hezbollah and its highly lucrative drug trade in Latin America, according to a report in Politico. These officials are believed to have run interference on the investigation in order to avoid upsetting Iran and jeopardizing the landmark nuclear accord.

Senior Obama officials in the Treasury and Justice Departments are said to have undermined the DEA's investigation at multiple junctures in order to avoid angering Hezbollah's patron Iran, which could have jeopardized the landmark nuclear agreement.

Congress is now taking steps to formally investigate the reports, which multiple sources described to the Free Beacon as part of a larger Obama administration effort to overlook Iran's global terror operations in order to cement the nuclear deal.

REPORT: MS-13 Terrorizes Families 7 Miles from White House

Just miles from the White House, an MS-13 gang has set up shop and is terrorizing a local immigrant community in Maryland. Their stronghold persists despite efforts by the Trump Administration to reign in the hyperviolent transnational criminal gang.

Abigail Bautista, an illegal alien from Guatemala, moved into the migrant neighborhood in Langley Park, Maryland, in 2012 and within a month, she began feeling the fear of living in an MS-13 community, the Washington Post reported.

The mother of five repeated the story of her first MS-13 encounter. Bautista described the fear she felt as she pushed her cart along the roadway and three young men walked up to her. She said one of the men asked her, “Do you know who we are?”

When she said no, they responded, “We are La Mara Salvatrucha. And here, there are rules.”

One of those rules includes paying $60 “rent” per week “or there would be trouble,” she explained.

“They are preying on the communities that they are living in,” Michael McElhenny, a supervisory special agent for the FBI in Maryland told the Washington Post.

Prince George’s County, Maryland, is listed as a sanctuary city/county by the Center for Immigration Studies.

Hell freezes over: Media start admitting that Trump's first year isn't a flop

I have sensed for weeks now that some in the media were on the verge of rolling out a contrary take on President Trump’s first year in office.

And in the wake of yesterday’s final passage of massive tax cuts, that moment has arrived.

The dominant media narrative, of course, is that Trump hasn’t gotten much done, that he’s in over his head, that he doesn’t understand government, that he keeps picking petty fights rather than winning big battles.

But the thing about the pundits is that they get tired of pushing the same line, week after week, month after month. Some inevitably want to seize credit for a new insight, for getting ahead of the pack with a burst of contrarian wisdom.

And that hot take is, hey, maybe Trump has gotten some important things done after all.

It’s true that the president had not gotten much from the Republican Congress this year. But a new law that cuts taxes for businesses and individuals—even though the measure polls poorly and is not mainly aimed at the middle class—puts an end to the verdict that Trump doesn’t know how to work the Hill. Like it or not, this is a sprawling piece of legislation that was quickly pushed through the House and Senate in a show of party-line muscle.

1-in-5 Illegal Aliens Would Go on Food Stamps After Amnesty, Says CBO

Nearly one-in-five amnestied aliens could go on food stamps if Congress approves a DACA amnesty, according to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office.

The DREAM Act, which is the most expansive amnesty being considered in the Republican-controlled Congress, would give potentially 3.25 million illegal aliens a pathway to U.S. citizenship.

Roughly two million of those 3.25 million illegal aliens would be immediately eligible for amnesty under the DREAM Act, says a newly released report from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). Around 1.6 million of the two million would later obtain green cards and become eligible for federal benefits.

Some 17.5 percent of DREAM Act illegal aliens, or 280,000 former illegals, would be on food stamps by 2027 — even though they are young and employable — according to the CBO. Twenty thousand of those illegal aliens would be immediately eligible for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits after the amnesty.

The CBO report states that under the DREAM Act, American taxpayers would spend $2.3 billion just on food stamps for the newly amnestied illegal aliens between 2018 to 2027, with more illegal aliens expected to join the welfare program after that period.

Project Kepler is in part aimed at creating a store that would feature no checkout lines or cashiers, but use 'computer vision' to detect which products customers leave the store with and then charge their accounts accordingly.

Amazon is also experimenting without cashiers. Roughly 3.5 million Americans operate cash registers for a living.

A Viewer Writes: Sexual Harassment

Hi Joe. With all the overwhelming news of sexual harassment and all the brave individuals which have come forward... it really has me thinking about a specific situation I am in. I don't even know what to call it or if there is a name for it. I have had to work on a daily basis with a boss who has made me so uncomfortable because I have caught them browsing porn sites on their computer in their office. Many reading this may say find another job but unfortunately for me its not that simple. This is a small town with few job opportunities for someone that has no degree and has only has had on the job training to get where I am. To start new is not an option. Has anyone else been in an awkward situation in the workplace other than sexual harassment? I am not the only one in the office aware....all of us have discussed it. This employer could care less because its "his" business. I believe if you can't keep it in the privacy of your own home....there is definitely a problem.

Balance of Power in Virginia State Legislature to Be Determined 'By Lot'

Chance, in the form of a coin toss or another 50/50 method, will now decide if Republicans will maintain control of the Virginia House of Delegates.

Republican incumbent Del. David Yancey and Democrat Shelly Simonds each have 11,608 votes from the November 2017 election for Virginia's 94th District, the Washington Postreports.

The tie was not the reality a day prior when, following a recount, Simonds was called the winner. Virginia House Republicans explained that a ballot, which was originally not counted for Yancey, was determined Wednesday to count for the GOP delegate.

"During the recount, election officials were presented with an overvote," said a statement from House GOP leaders Kirk Cox, Tim Hugo and Nick Rush. "One Republican official, and a recount observer, believed at the time the ballot was a clear vote for Delegate David Yancey. However, a Democratic official persuaded the Republican official to not count the ballot. This morning, the Republican official wrote a letter to the recount court explaining that he made the wrong decision yesterday, and that he believes the ballot should count for Delegate Yancey."

Wells Fargo And Fifth Third Bancorp Join Businesses In Praising GOP Tax Reform

Following the footsteps of other major corporations, Wells Fargo and Fifth Third BankCorp praised the Republican tax reform plan Wednesday hours after the bill passed through congress.

Fifth Third Bancorp and Wells Fargo announced they wold be raising the minimum wage for their workers to $15 an hour, giving credit to the Tax Reform plan that will lower corporate tax rates.

Wells Fargo, the largest money-lender in the U.S. also said they would be donating $400 million to community and nonprofit organizations in 2018, following the announcements by the aerospace company and defense contractor Boeing, who announced they would be donating $300 million for charitable projects, employee training and education, and facilities improvements for Boeing locations.

Fifth Third, which is the fifteenth largest U.S. bank by asset size, said the tax cut allowed the company to re-evaluate their employees salaries. Along with the raise, Fifth Third said they will distribute a one-time bonus of $1,000 to more than 13,500 employees.

Salisbury Maryland Mayor Jake Day Says, "I Did Not Give The Daily Times A Pass"

Politicians pointing fingers at everyone else, (especially Liberals) need to become a thing in the past and accountability needs to drive elections from here on out on the Shore.

This facility has been operating illegally for years, starting with Mayor Ireton. Clearly Headquarters Live wasn't operating under ADA Handicap Regulations either.

However, Mayor Jake Day recently claimed, "I did not give the Daily Times a pass", according  to Mr. Mitchell. Pointing fingers at others, (inspectors) Mr. Day doesn't cut it. In fact, I'd venture to guess that you and Ireton knew exactly what was going on.

Perhaps under Ireton, (and this is a far fetched guess) the state gave Headquarters Live a pass. However, when the Daily Times asked to have this building reconstructed to fit their wants and needs, I highly doubt Inspectors simply closed their eyes. I'll leave the rest to everyone's imagination.

One thing is for sure, massive pressure and attention is being placed on this through ALL of our legislators from the Shore. Hence Mayor Day's phone call to Mr. Mitchell in the first place. Were palms greased? A favor for a favor?

What I can tell you is, the proper people/organizations have been contacted and attorneys are also reviewing this case.

Finally, It's NOT the Daily Times that got a pass, it's the owners of the building. So technically, Day may be right but he sure uses his words very carefully. Gotta love the Liberal Agenda.

North Korea testing anthrax for ICBMs, report says

North Korea is beginning tests on mounting anthrax onto intercontinental ballistic missiles that would strike the U.S., a report said on Wednesday just two days after the White House’s U.S. National Security Strategy stated Kim Jong Un is pursuing chemical and biological weapons.

The Hermit Kingdom is beginning experiments to test out if anthrax can endure immense heat and pressure it will have to endure when loaded into an ICBM and launched toward the earth’s atmosphere, Japan’s Asahi newspaper reported, citing an unidentified person connected to South Korea’s intelligence services.

“North Korea has started experiments such as heat and pressure equipment to prevent anthrax from dying even at a high temperature of over 7,000 degrees generated at the time of ICBM's re-entry into the atmosphere,” the report stated. “In part, there is unconfirmed information that it has already succeeded in such experiments.”

On Monday, the White House released its U.S. National Security Strategy that said North Korea is “pursuing chemical and biological weapons which could also be delivered by missile.”

McCabe draws blank on Democrats’ funding of Trump dossier

Congressional investigators tell Fox News that Tuesday’s seven-hour interrogation of Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe contained numerous conflicts with the testimony of previous witnesses, prompting the Republican majority staff of the House Intelligence Committee to decide to issue fresh subpoenas next week on Justice Department and FBI personnel.

While HPSCI staff would not confirm who will be summoned for testimony, all indications point to demoted DOJ official Bruce G. Ohr and FBI General Counsel James A. Baker, who accompanied McCabe, along with other lawyers, to Tuesday’s HPSCI session.

“It’s hard to know who’s telling us the truth,” said one House investigator after McCabe’s questioning.

The sources said that when asked when he learned that the dossier had been funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, McCabe claimed he could not recall – despite the reported existence of documents with McCabe’s own signature on them establishing his knowledge of the dossier’s financing and provenance.

Analysis: Nearly Every Household Will Receive Tax Cut Under Revised Tax Proposal

The final version of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, passed by both the House and the Senate, will reduce taxes for nearly every household, according to an analysis from the Tax Foundation.

"To help provide a sense of how the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act would impact real taxpayers, we've run the taxes of eight example households," the foundation explains. "Our results indicate a reduction in tax liability for every scenario we estimated, with some of the largest changes in after-tax income accruing to moderate-income families with children."

The foundation says each type of family it scored had realistic characteristics so it could show how the bill's individual income tax provisions would impact various types of families with different incomes.

Nine Million American Men Pushed Out of Workforce by Cheap-Labor Policies, Says Obama Economist

Nine million working-age men have been pushed out of the workforce by the federal government’s salary-cutting economic strategy, says a former economist for former President Barack Obama.

The admission comes as some legislators in Congress renew their push for a huge ‘dreamer’ amnesty that would increase the number of low-wage foreign workers who can take U.S. jobs.

The nine million number comes from a new op-ed by Jason Furman, a top economic advisor to Obama. Without mentioning cheap-labor labor, Furman writes in the Wall Street Journal:

The U.S. has experienced a record 86 consecutive months of job growth. But some nine million men of prime age—that is, between 25 and 54—still are not working. Most have given up looking for jobs. Helping these men get back into the workforce should be a leading public-policy priority …

The largest issue facing American men is not that they are rewarded for remaining in a recliner, but that they cannot find rewarding work. The bulk of the decline in employment has been for men with a high-school diploma or less, who have seen their employment rates fall from 97% in 1964 to 83% today. This has coincided with a decline in their relative wages: High-school grads in the 1970s earned two-thirds what their college-educated counterparts took home. Today it’s around half.

Reversing the withdrawal of men from the workforce will require rising wages. This can be achieved by improving the skills of workers through education and training and improving the bargaining power of workers to raise wages. Direct steps like expanding the earned-income tax credit could also make a difference, though the policy is absent from the current tax-reform bill—despite Speaker Paul Ryan’s past support for it.

Furman carefully excludes immigration as a reason for Americans’ low wages, but his comments come amid a renewed push for amnesty by Congress.

Gingrich: 'Elite News Media' Has Spent 6 Months Lying About the Tax Bill

Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich called out the "elite news media" for six months of "lies" about the tax reform bill, along with overwhelmingly "hostile" coverage of the Trump administration's first year.

Bill Hemmer asked Gingrich whether he believes the bill's passage will lead to electoral success for the GOP in the 2018 midterms.

The former Georgia lawmaker said the results will be evident very soon when Americans file their taxes and see a doubling of the child tax credit and standard deduction and lower taxes for small businesses.

Gingrich predicted there will be a boom in investment in American jobs due to the lowering of the corporate tax rate.

Rosie O'Donnell Tells Shapiro 'Suck My D**k.' His Response Flattens Her.

On Tuesday night, Rosie O’Donnell, unhinged leftist, so-called comedian, and permanent enemyof Donald Trump, distraught that the House of Representatives had passed the first significant tax cut bill in three decades, offered to break the law by offering two senators bribes to vote against the bill. That engendered a back-and-forth with Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro in which she told him to “Suck my d**k,” prompting a scathing and hilarious response that left her looking like shredded underwear.

The one-sided battle of wits began when O’Donnell tweeted:

Harvey Weinstein scandal: #SheKnew posters call out Meryl Streep; ex-aide seeks NDA reform

As the Harvey Weinstein scandal continues to reverberate around Hollywood, Rose McGowan remains a vocal name, interviewing several accusers, and with anti-Meryl Streep posters showing up in Los Angeles following a recent Twitter diatribe against the actress.

More developments as they happen:

#SheKnew posters of Meryl Streep posted in L.A.

On Wednesday, CBS Los Angeles shared footage of posters showing a photo of Meryl Streep with Harvey Weinstein, emblazoned with the text #SheKnew, near the SAG-AFTRA building in L.A. The posters also showed up in several other places around the city, and appear to have been installed before sunrise Wednesday morning.

The posters follow McGowan's tweets this weekend calling out Streep for her professional relationship with Weinstein, and imply the Oscar-winner actress knew about Weinstein's alleged predatory behavior.

In a tweet that appears to have been taken down, McGowan wrote that "actresses, like Meryl Streep, who happily worked for The Pig Monster, are wearing black @GoldenGlobes in a silent protest. YOUR SILENCE is THE problem. You’ll accept a fake award breathlessly & affect no real change. I despise your hypocrisy. Maybe you should all wear Marchesa."

Governor Larry Hogan Announces Legislation to Protect Maryland Taxpayers Under Federal Tax Reform

Proposal Will Return Any Additional State Revenues to Negatively Impacted Maryland Taxpayers

ANNAPOLIS, MD –
Governor Larry Hogan announced that the administration will be submitting legislation to mitigate potential negative impacts of federal tax reform on Maryland taxpayers. The legislation will return any additional state revenue received due to the loss of federal deductions and exemptions.

The governor made the following statement at a meeting of the Board of Public Works at the Maryland State House:

“As you all know, it looks like the federal tax reform effort may soon be officially signed into law. Its exact impact on the State of Maryland has not yet been determined. It’s clear that some people’s taxes will go down, and some will go up. I know that Comptroller Franchot and his team will be doing an analysis to determine how Maryland taxpayers will be affected. However, it is very clear that due to the loss of several longstanding federal tax deductions and exemptions, Maryland state revenue will likely increase by hundreds of millions of dollars.

“I am announcing today that our administration will submit legislation that will protect our taxpayers, and which will mitigate negative impacts of these changes to state taxes. Our goal will be to leave that money in the pockets of hardworking Marylanders. I am confident that our partners in the General Assembly who have expressed concern over the impact of this tax reform bill will support us unanimously in protecting Marylanders who could be negatively affected. Protecting taxpayers should be a bipartisan issue.”

A start to get you in the Christmas mood

Frank and Dianne were in a local shopping center just before Christmas.

Dianne suddenly noticed that Frank was missing, and as they had a lot to do, she called him on his cell phone. Dianne asked, "Frank, where are you?You know that we have lots to do."

Frank said, "Do you remember the jewelry store we went into about 10 years ago, and you fell in love with a diamond necklace? I couldn’t afford it at the time, and I said that one day I would get it for you."

Little tears started to flow down Dianne's cheek, and she got all choked up. "Yes, I do remember that shop," she replied.

"Well, I'm in the Hooters next to that."

Former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom called disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok a "total moron" who belongs in Leavenworth federal prison, during a TV appearance on Thursday.

Kallstrom, a former Marine captain and Vietnam veteran, told FBN host Liz MacDonald that if an FBI agent wanted to stop someone from becoming President, "I think he can do what [Strzok] tried to do," adding "He can fabricate things, he can make stuff up, he can lie, he can be a total moron."

"You know, he belongs in Leavenworth this guy, in my personal view."
