NEWS MEDIA NOTICE FROM THE WICOMICO COUNTY EXECUTIVE

At 10:00 A.M. tomorrow, November 1st, Wicomico County Executive Richard M. Pollitt, Jr., will join Public Works Director P. Rai Sharma in dedicating the county’s 20th recycling station. The location is on the WalMart property on Route 13 North in Salisbury.

Mr. Sharma said, “People on the north end of Salisbury have been without a recycling station for several years. The WalMart site should make it more convenient for those who want to recycle. The county salutes WalMart for its cooperation in this important effort. Wicomico County recycles 22% of the trash it receives. This is above the state-mandated goal of 15%.”

Dear Mr. Pollitt,

Although I usually start my Blogging process around 6:00 AM, there's been so much news going on locally that I haven't seeemed to be able to stop before 1:00 in the afternoon.

Then of course during that time I'm fielding comments for moderation, trying to get them up in a timely fashion.

Therefore, may I request you put out a new Press Release changing that time to, oh, let's say, 1:00 PM? If I can get there sooner I'll take you into Sam's Club and buy you a Hot Dog & a Soda for $1.50! I know, big spender! Take it or leave it?

ROTFLMAO
