75 years ago Germany surrendered to allied forces finally ending the ravages of the Second World War.
Today, as the world celebrates the 75th anniversary of this victory, why not think very seriously about finally winning that war once and for all?
If you’re confused by this statement, then you might want to sit down and take a deep breath before reading on. Within the next 12 minutes, you will likely discover a disturbing fact which may frighten you a little bit: The allies never actually won World War II…
Now please don’t get me wrong. I am eternally thankful for the immortal souls who gave their lives to put down the fascist machine during those bleak years… but the fact is that a certain something wasn’t resolved on the 9th of May, 1945 which has a lot to do with the slow re-emergence of a new form of fascism during the second half of the 20th century and the renewed danger of a global bankers’ dictatorship which the world faces again today.
It is my contention that it is only when we find the courage to really look at this problem with sober eyes, that we will be able to truly honor our courageous forebears who devoted their lives to winning a peace for their children, grandchildren and humanity more broadly.

Get Used to It: COVID-19 Taxes Are Coming, Will Remain Indefinitely
Governments do not produce and they do not create. At best they facilitate various services—and oftentimes very poorly when compared to the private sector. However, what governments do fantastically is collect and spend the resources that the private sector creates.
This, of course, is accomplished through the incredible number of taxes implemented throughout our history, whether it be sales taxes, income taxes, property taxes, inheritance taxes, etc. The list goes on, and still, governments around the Western world have found ways of squandering this money, sending their nations deeper and deeper into debt.
Collectively, governments around the world now stand at approximately $77,598,169,364,443 USD in debt, with that number growing drastically higher with each passing second.
The majority of this debt was accumulated during the "good times" when many Western economies were experiencing record high GDP levels, record high stock market prices, and record high employment rates.
Unfortunately, for at least the short term, the good times are now over due to the COVID-19 crisis, and governments around the world have decided to go exponentially deeper into debt, enacting relief plan after relief plan in a desperate attempt to keep afloat an economy that they forced to shut down.

SURVEILLANCE VIDEOS SHOW AHMAUD ARBERY TRESPASSED INTO MAN’S HOME BEFORE SHOOTING
Mainstream media working overtime to generate racial tension
Newly released surveillance videos show Ahmaud Arbery trespassed into a home — which the homeowner says was robbed of $2,500 worth of fishing gear earlier this year — before running away down the street after a neighbor called 911.
Arbery can be seen walking down the street — not jogging — then stopping on homeowner Larry English’s lawn and looking around. After seeing no one was in the area, he then trespassed into the house at around 2:09 p.m. on the timestamp, which is actually most likely around 1:08 p.m as police said the first neighbor to call 911 did so at 1:08 p.m. Arbery is seen exiting the building around 5 minutes later and took off running or “jogging” after 911 had been called on him (possibly by the onlooking man who is seen standing next to a tree across the street that appears to be holding a phone up to his left ear and likely would have been in Arbery’s view).
The first 911 caller can be heard telling police about the trespassing incident and saying the suspect was “caught on camera a bunch before at night” and it’s “kind of an ongoing thing out here.”
He told the dispatcher in real time that he was witnessing the suspect leaving the house and “running down the street” (which suggests he was the onlooker seen on the video).
The second 911 caller, who reportedly made his call at 1:14 p.m., can be heard yelling at a man to “stop,” which was presumably Arbery.

Trump fires back at Obama, criticizes handling of swine flu pandemic
President Trump on Sunday ripped the Obama administration’s handling of the swine flu pandemic — after it was revealed that the former commander in chief called his successor’s approach to the coronavirus criss an “absolute chaotic disaster.”
“We are getting great marks for the handling of the CoronaVirus pandemic, especially the very early BAN of people from China, the infectious source, entering the USA,” the president said on Twitter Sunday morning. “Compare that to the Obama/Sleepy Joe disaster known as H1N1 Swine Flu. Poor marks, bad polls – didn’t have a clue!”
In a video chat with supporters Friday, Obama criticized Trump’s handling of the coronavirus.
“It has been an absolute chaotic disaster,” Obama said, “when that mindset of ‘what’s in it for me’ and ‘to heck with everybody else’ — when that mindset is operationalized in our government.”
During the 2009 swine flu pandemic, 12,469 people died in the US, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimated.
According to Johns Hopkins University, 78,799 Americans have died of the coronavirus so far.
In a series of tweets, the president also thanked Vice President Mike Pence for tweeting the number of medical supplies the Federal Emergency Management Agency distributed to Iowa.

Adam Schiff lied about the Trump probe — and the media let him
Last week, Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell forced Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff’s hand. If the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee didn’t release the transcripts of 53 interviews from the committee’s Russia collusion investigations, then he’d do it himself. The transcripts, many of them from nearly three years ago, were declassified and ready for public viewingsince June.
As the grand impresario of collusion, Schiff has filled print and broadcast media since January 2017 claiming that he has seen “more than circumstantial evidence” of a Trump-Putin conspiracy. Obviously there was none in the transcripts, or he’d have pulled back the curtain years ago. But Schiff didn’t want to hand control of the narrative to one of Trump’s most effective deputies, so on Thursday they finally went live.
They show exactly what you’d expect them to show: None of the former Obama administration officials who took to the airwaves immediately after Trump’s election to claim collusion had any evidence of it.
Here’s Obama’s director of national intelligence, and CNN analyst, James Clapper: “I never saw any direct empirical evidence that the Trump campaign or someone in it was plotting/conspiring with the Russians to meddle with the election.”

Nate Jackson: Schiff's Smoking Gun Backfires
Thousands of pages of interview transcripts reveal that Dems never had evidence of collusion.
Yesterday morning, we noted that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff was in a tough spot regarding transcripts related to the probe of supposed collusion between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and Russia. Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Richard Grenell wrote a letter to Schiff challenging him to release 6,000 pages of transcripts from more than 50 interviews the Intel Committee conducted in its probe. Schiff once called for releasing those transcripts, but then stonewalled actually doing so because he knew it would inevitably pull the curtain back on the Democrats’ hoax. Late yesterday, those transcripts finallydropped.
Obviously, it will take time to sift through that much material, but there are some pretty significant highlights already out there. Here are some of them:
In 2017, former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe conceded: “There is a lot of information in the Steele reporting. We have not been able to prove the accuracy of all the information.” And yet the phony Steele dossier, bought and paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the DNC, was relied upon not just for FBI surveillance of Trump’s campaign but for acting Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s “scope memo” directing Robert Mueller’s investigation nearly a year later.
In 2018, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper acknowledged: “I never saw any direct empirical evidence that the Trump campaign or someone in it was plotting [or] conspiring with the Russians to meddle with the election.” And yet, two years later, Clapper claimed “the Trump campaign … was essentially aiding and abetting the Russians.” What changed his mind? Probably the paycheck from CNN.
Team Obama knew it had nothing. Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch said, “I can’t say that [evidence of collusion] existed or not.” Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice admitted, “I don’t recall any intelligence or evidence to that effect.” Former Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes confessed, “I saw indications of potential coordination, but I did not see, you know, the specific evidence of the actions of the Trump campaign.” Nevertheless, Democrats have spent the last three and a half years screaming about that phantom collusion.

Mark Alexander: Beyond Flynn: Indict Obama, Clinton, Comey, and Brennan
Time to take down the key co-conspirators in the plan to take down Trump.
“We should be unfaithful to ourselves if we should ever lose sight of the danger to our liberties if anything partial or extraneous should infect the purity of our free, fair, virtuous, and independent elections.” —John Adams (1797) The Department of Justice filed a motion to dismiss its case against LTG Michael Flynn (USA Ret.). He was set up by a small cabal of corrupt FBI agents on a perjury charge related to the 1799 Logan Act — under which nobody has ever been convicted. Flynn was Barack Obama’s former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (2012-2014). After 33 years of distinguished military service, he joined the then-new administration of President Donald Trump as his national security advisor from 23 January to 13 February 2017 — until Obama’s deep-state operators took him out.
LTG Flynn was the first victim of what we now know was, arguably, a coup d'étatto take down Trump. As I noted two years ago, DoJ’s operation “Crossfire Hurricane” to ensnare Trump by entrapping those connected to his campaign, and then his administration, devolved into a “Backfire Tornado.” As former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy noted this week, the conspiracy to entrap Flynn was key to keeping the corrupt Russia-collusion investigation moving forward. McCarthy notes, “If no way could be found to sideline Flynn, then Flynn was going to find out about Crossfire Hurricane.” On the charges being dropped, McCarthy also makes the case, “There was no basis to believe Flynn, a decorated former US combat commander, would ever be Moscow’s mole, much less that he had committed a crime.”

Michael Flynn case collapse latest sign 'RussiaGate' was a complete fraud
With the Justice Department moving to drop charges against Gen. Mike Flynn, pretty much the entire “RussiaGate” investigation stands exposed as a fraud. But will any of the witch-hunters pay?
Lefties are already claiming that Attorney General William Barr is simply playing politics, but the facts say otherwise. Brandon Van Grack, a top Justice Department prosecutor and former member of special counsel Bob Mueller’s team, was withdrawn from the Flynn case (indeed, many of his cases) earlier Thursday because he’d plainly abused his power by withholding bombshell evidence from the defense and the court.
Flynn’s supposed crime was lying to FBI agents in a January 2017 interview at the White House. Yet the concealed evidence included 1) a top FBI official’s notes suggesting the entire purpose of the interview was to catch Flynn in a lie, or get him to admit to a technical violation of the Logan Act — all in order to force him from office. And 2) an internal Justice Department memo, from the day before that interview, calling on the FBI to close the Flynn investigation because agents had dug up absolutely no wrongdoing.

Thomas Gallatin: New Evidence Appears to Corroborate Reade's Biden Allegation
A 1996 court document reveals she told her then-husband about being sexually harassed.
The water surrounding Joe Biden’s presidential campaign suddenly got a lot hotter on Thursday, as new evidence emerged supporting former staffer Tara Reade’sallegations of sexual assault. The Tribune of San Luis Obispo, California, uncovered court documents from 1996 in which Reade’s then-husband, Theodore Dronen, stated that the reason Reade quit working for Biden’s office was due to sexual harassment.
The court documents were in connection to divorce proceedings Dronen had initiated. In the documents, Dronen states, “I met Petitioner [Reade] in the spring of 1993 while working in Washington D.C. At the early stages of our dating, Petitioner felt comfortable confiding in me as we both worked for members of Congress, and we shared many common interests. On several occasions Petitioner related a problem that she was having at work regarding sexual harassment, in U.S. Senator Joe Biden’s office. Petitioner told me she struck a deal with the chief of staff of the senator’s office and left her position.”

Charlamagne tha God to the Black Community: Buy Guns for Protection from ‘Vanilla ISIS’
Sunday on MSNBC, radio host Charlamagne tha God encouraged blacks to buy a gun to protect themselves against “white ISIS” amid the Ahmaud Arbery controversy, who was allegedly killed by two men, Gregory and Travis McMichael, in Georgia on February 23.
Charlamagne tha God said, “My thoughts are rest in peace and condolences to his family. I wish that brother had a gun on him while he was jogging to defend himself against those thugs, those goons, those terrorists. I call them vanilla ISIS. That’s what I call them. They hunted him down like he was a deer. I would tell my brothers and sisters to buy a legal firearm and learn how to use it to protect yourself and your family. I am, and I think when you are a black person in America, owning a legal firearm is a form of self-care. That’s my thoughts on that. I wish he had a gun on him while jogging. I would much rather see him in prison fighting for his freedom as opposed to being in a casket right now.”

Pelosi: Vote-by-Mail Will Be in Next Coronavirus Stimulus
Sunday on “Full Court Press,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told host Greta van Susteren vote-by-mail would be in the next coronavirus stimulus legislation.
Pelosi said, “Well, let me stay a couple of things. First of all, I’m proud of our state of California. Jerry Brown, when he left, scores of billions of dollars of surplus. That’s all gone because of the virus. That’s all gone because of the virus. So, to those who make that charge about, ‘oh, they had problems before,’ it has nothing to do with that. This is strictly, what are your outlays for the coronavirus? What is your revenue loss for the coronavirus? That’s what has the support of Democratic and Republican governors across the country. It strictly about this, and it’s about nothing else. It has nothing to do with anything else in the budget of the governors. And we will come and our bill, also have funding for vote by mail, which we think is essential and supported by Republicans across the country. They like voting by mail. They have more of a habit of voting by mail.”

I’m hearing the “bank” pulled out of the deal and immediately cut off the money! All equipment is gone and the old Chamber building is partially demolished. There’s been NO activity there for about 2 weeks! I guess the “beautiful, new downtown ‘Bury” already has an eyesore. Wonder how Dumb Dumb Day will spin this one? Inquiring minds want to know.....
A Viewer Writes: Max Tax Rate
I am sending you excerpts from Salisbury council meetings regarding, oh yes, not only real property tax increase but the change of city ordinance to cap levels of increase. In other words, the Mayor and Council have already increased water and sewer rates to ridiculous amounts and now here we go with property tax rates. Tax and Spend is alive and well in our fair? Community. I sent this to all council members before the Monday Meeting.
It seems to me that the max tax rate was a great idea – made for just for this particular moment in time.
Tax and spend has NEVER been more evident than during this regime and it seems nothing can slow it, much less stop it.
I have questioned the cost benefit of many of the expensive programs that seem more like fantasy than useful contributions to the economic and social life of Salisbury. I certainly hope that this type of governmental management is not based more on “self” than “citizenry”.
Without even mentioning the fact that we are in an economic holocaust and fatal change in economic social norms, it seems to be bike paths, homeless appointments in Baltimore, homelessness on the streets, trash bombs, general litter, gigantic sewer and water bill increases, downtown revitalization, tax payer funded small business loans, crime and raises for all. Damn the torpedoes, we have The Folk Festival (Maybe).
If you give the Mayor and his minions the ability to tax without restraint it’s the beginning of Venezuela 2.
Remember: Downtown has multiple small businesses which will very likely have a high bankruptcy rate.
( Those that were, in part or totally, funded by tax payer dollars will default on city loans )
Perhaps you read this headline:

Unknowns BUT more likely than NOT> 1. At least a year for a successful vaccine. 2. Social Distancing is here to stay in one form or another. That means decreased production capacity, eat in seating capacity for bars and restaurants.
3. Employment crawl back may never reach prior levels due to reduced capacity and fewer employees needed. Work at home may surge requiring less business real estate. 4. Frankly, for years we have not needed multi-million college buildings, or even college rentals when staying home or just somewhere else that’s cheaper. (ZOOM) 5. When incomes fall, from manufacturing, the only true revenue source that increases a nations wealth, contributions from the recycling of government payrolls are tax rebates not outside productive taxable income.
I could go on, but my point is let’s keep the streets clean and repaired, police service that are allowed to fight crime and nuisance, EMS and fire protection. Water, Sewer and Garbage are way to high and you not only want to continually raise them for reasons I cannot detect, but increase real property rates. When will it stop? Where is Robin Hood when you need him to fight Prince John? Come on council be Salisbury’s Robin Hoods.

Stacey Abrams: ‘There Will Be No Democracy’ Without ‘Universal Mail-In Voting’
Failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams this week argued that “there will be no democracy” in the United States without universal mail-in voting in the 2020 presidential election.
When MSNBC host Chris Hayes asked her how important “universal mail-in voting” is, Abrams simply responded: “It is essential. There will be no democracy without it.”
“We cannot move tens of millions of people through lines… without having the ability to relieve the stress through vote-by-mail,” Abrams said before adding that Congress must include billions in the next relief bill to help states ensure that citizens have the ability to vote by mail.
Pointing out that President Donald Trump himself voted by mail, Abrams has argued that mail-in voting is the “safest and most secure” way of voting, adding that “voter fraud is nearly mythological.”
“You are more likely to be struck by lightning than for there to be an incident of voting fraud,” Abrams has said. “That’s because most people aren’t trying to vote twice or three times. They’re trying to vote once.”
Strong majorities in every poll (Harvard-Harris, NBC News/Wall Street Journal, Associated Press/Monmouth) released during the coronavirus crises have supported voting by mail. And another national poll released this week (USA Today/Suffolk) found that nearly two-thirds of Americans (65 percent) “support voting by mail as an alternative to voting in person on Election Day during the coronavirus pandemic.”

Pollak: Barack Obama Himself Was the Threat to the Rule of Law
Former President Barack Obama warned Friday that the “rule of law is at risk” because former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn will no longer be prosecuted.
Obama’s remarks, leaked from a private conference call with members of something called the “Obama Alumni Association,” show a breathtaking lack of self-awareness.
Obama himself was the threat to the rule of law, both during his presidency and as it ended.
As Breitbart News has previously noted, Obama routinely violated the Constitution’s separation of powers, challenging America’s constitutional foundation in a way no president before him had done in peacetime.
“I’ve got a pen, and I’ve got a phone,” Obama said, threatening to use — and abuse — his executive power — rather than allow the constitutional process of legislation to proceed.
Here are just a few of Obama’s more egregious violations:
Refusing to submit the Iran deal to the Senate for ratification
Declaring the Senate in recess when it was not (struck down, later, in a 9-0 Supreme Court decision)
Defying the courts when told to renew oil and gas activity in the Gulf of Mexico, or to stop giving amnesty to illegal aliens
Threatening the Supreme Court after Citizens United, and before the Obamacare decision
Altering Obamacare’s statutory deadline unilaterally
Creating the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA) programs after admitting it was unconstitutional
Trying to wipe out the coal industry

US coronavirus deaths top 80,000 and hit 1.3 million as it's revealed a third of fatalities were in nursing homes
The number of people who have died of the coronavirus in the US has now topped 80,000, while the number of cases in the country hits 1.3 million.
On Sunday, the death toll reached 80,308, and it has been revealed nursing home residents and workers now account for a third of these fatalities.
A New York Times database shows that at least 25,600 residents and workers at US nursing homes or long-term care facilities for the elderly have died from coronavirus as of Saturday.
More than 143,000 people were infected with coronavirus at about 7,500 facilities, according to statistics gathered by the newspaper.
There are currently 1,356,650 cases of coronavirus in the U.S.

Coronavirus DID leak from a Wuhan lab, Australian China expert claims, as he details why wildlife wet market theory 'doesn't stack up' and accuses Beijing of a cover-up
A respected author and China expert claims bombshell evidence suggestscoronavirus must have leaked from a Wuhan laboratory - not from wildlife wet markets.
'The argument that the coronavirus emerged from the South China Seafood market just no longer stacks up,' Professor Clive Hamilton told Sky News on Sunday night.
Professor Hamilton said the earliest cases of COVID-19 were in people who had no contact with the Wuhan wet market, which was first blamed for the outbreak.

FLASHBACK: Barack Obama Pardoned a Former General Who Lied to the FBI
In a leaked phone conversation recording with former members of his administration released last week, Barack Obama claimed that the “rule of law is at risk” because of the “unprecedented” move by the Justice Department to drop charges against Michael Flynn, who was the victim of a perjury trap set up by officials in the FBI. Flynn was coerced into pleading guilty to lying to FBI officials.
“The news over the last 24 hours I think has been somewhat downplayed — about the Justice Department dropping charges against Michael Flynn,” Obama said. “And the fact that there is no precedent that anybody can find for someone who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free. That’s the kind of stuff where you begin to get worried that basic — not just institutional norms — but our basic understanding of rule of law is at risk. And when you start moving in those directions, it can accelerate pretty quickly as we’ve seen in other places.”
But, in 2017, just days before leaving office, Barack Obama pardoned retired Marine Corps general James E. Cartwright, who pleaded guilty to charges of lying to the FBI.
Cartwright served as vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Obama, and was “a key member of Mr. Obama’s national security team in his first term and earned a reputation as the president’s favorite general,” according to the New York Times. Cartwright had leaked classified information regarding Iran’s nuclear program to the media and lied to FBI officials investigating those leaks. He faced up to two years in prison before Obama pardoned him.

Lockdowns May Aggravate America's Next Health Crisis: An Explosion Of "Deaths Of Despair", Study Finds
Doctors, scientists policymakers and even 'non-experts' posting on social media have argued that shuttering the health-care system to all non-emergency care risks sparking other public health crises from a spike in heart attacks and advanced cancer diagnoses, to so-called "deaths of despair."
In some areas, a spike in suicides has already been recorded since the start of the outbreak. And now, a newly published paper released Friday has attempted to quantify deaths that might occur because of the mental-health ramifications of widespread economic chaos caused by the crisis. The research - which hasn't yet been peer-reviewed - found the isolation, grief and economic hardship related to COVID-19 are conspiring to supercharge America's already-burgeoning mental-health crisis, likely setting the stage for tens of thousands of suicides down the line.

This Oval Office Meeting Attended By Obama and Biden Was Key To the Anti-Trump Plot
On January 5, 2017, a meeting was held in the Obama White House in the Oval Office. Both President Obama and Vice President Biden attended. This meeting, it turns out, was critical to the anti-Trump operation by the Obama administration, reports Mollie Hemingway at The Federalist. “It was at this meeting that Obama gave guidance to key officials who would be tasked with protecting his administration’s utilization of secretly funded Clinton campaign research, which alleged Trump was involved in a treasonous plot to collude with Russia, from being discovered or stopped by the incoming administration,” she wrote.
Also in attendance at this meeting was then-CIA Director John Brennan, then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, then-national security adviser Susan Rice, then-FBI Director James Comey, then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, and other members of the national security council.
It was at this meeting that Barack Obama spoke with Yates and Comey about wiretapped conversations of Trump’s incoming National Security Adviser Gen. Michael Flynn with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the Trump transition, indicating that President Obama was directly knowledgeable of the efforts to surveil the Trump campaign and undermine the incoming administration.
Susan Rice wrote herself a now-infamous email documenting the meeting, writing “President Obama said he wants to be sure that, as we engage with the incoming team, we are mindful to ascertain if there is any reason that we cannot share information fully as it relates to Russia.”
After this meeting took place, “high-level operatives began intensely leaking selective information supporting a supposed Russia-Trump conspiracy theory, the incoming National Security Advisor was ambushed, and the incoming Attorney General [Jeff Sessions] was forced to recuse himself from oversight of investigations of President Trump.”

“There Is Nothing from the CDC I Can Trust!” – Dr. Birx Tells Off CDC Director, Claims COVID-19 Mortality Rate Inflated By as Much as 25%!
We have reported for weeks since EARLY MARCH that the numbers and predictions coming out on the coronavirus could not be trusted.
Earlier this week The Gateway Pundit reported on the faulty models used to shut down the US economy:
** Dr. Tony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx used the Imperial College Model to persuade President Trump to lock down the ENTIRE US ECONOMY.
** The fraudulent model predicted 2.2 million American deaths from the coronavirus pandemic
** The authors of the Imperial College Model shared their findings with the White House Coronavirus task force in early March
** Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx then met with President Trump privately and urged him to shut down the US economy and destroy the record Trump economy based on this model
** A new critique of the Imperial College Model finds the study is “completely unusable for scientific purposes” — The study is a complete sham
** Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx pushed a garbage model on the White House and the American public and destroyed the US economy
We reported earlier today that frontline COVID-19 doctors this week have gone public saying they feel pressured to show COVID-19 as cause-of-death on certificates of patients suspected of having the virus when they also have had underlying medical conditions. Now, even the doctors are challenging the CDC on their rules of reporting.

Colorado restaurant illegally reopens with no social distancing and hundreds of customers
The armed bouncer appeared friendly, welcoming a local reporter inside C & C Coffee and Kitchen in Castle Rock, Colo., to take video footage of the remarkable scene unfolding inside.
In the restaurant on Sunday morning, in defiance of Democratic Gov. Jared Polis’s executive Safer at Home order, every table was nearly full, according to the footage from Colorado Community Media reporter Nick Puckett. Customers crowded around the counter waiting for their orders. The line to place them went out the door, wrapping around the side of the building.
Almost no one was wearing a face mask. Only a single person among the dozens in Puckett’s footage can be seen wearing one.

Cuomo touts New York's decline in hospitalizations, effectively reverses mandate linked to nursing-home deaths
With New York City's lockdown executive order set to expire on May 15, Gov. Andrew Cuomo celebrated a steep decline in hospitalizations and deaths due to the coronavirus during Sunday's daily briefing with reporters — even as he sought to address the state's sky-high nursing home death count, which came after a state directive mandating that nursing homes take on positive COVID-19 patients.
Cuomo said new hospitalizations were roughly where they were on March 20, when the “New York State on Pause” executive order locked down the state. And, the number of deaths in the state — just 203 on Saturday — was similar to where it was in late March, as well.
The numbers "take us right back to where we started this hellish journey," Cuomo said. "March 20 is when we did the close down order, and where we are today with the number of new cases is basically right where we were when we started."
"It's all thanks to what New Yorkers did," he added.

What If The Crisis Is One Without End... Like George Orwell's Perpetual War
Notions of Freedom
We are living in strange times indeed, this crisis raises many questions about the nature of freedom and what our expectations are, or should be. Everyone has their own notions about what freedom means and how far that should extend to oneself and indeed, to everyone else.
I want to start with a look at where we’ve come from before I look at where we are now, as I feel it gives a better understanding of our definitions of freedom and a better context for viewing where we are, at this moment in time.
Society probably started with the tribe – maybe not even having a leader if the numbers where small enough, say 10 people. Tribes of scores or more obviously became hard to manage and so, undoubtedly, this led to the idea of a leader or a group of leaders – a chief, or a council of chiefs. Such a system seems to have worked well, so long as the chiefs acted in the best interest of the tribe, and not in their own best interest. Tribes and early kingdoms often had a mechanism for dealing with a poor leader – the symbolic marriage of the leader to the land and the right to depose, or even excute, a leader that failed to live up to expectations.
Such concepts of leadership are ancient but have survived in various places into the modern era, including Ireland where I live. Although the practice associated with this custom is long gone, knowledge of it remains vaguely in the public consciousness and more definitively in the realms of scholarship and Celtic Neo-Paganism. However, societies across the globe began to move beyond this cherished accountability millenia ago – with the rise of depsotic monarchy, something that still exists as an unfortunate anachronism even now.
As tribes grew into countries and countries grew into empires, monarchs became decreasingly accountable to their citizens, or rather subjects – those who are subjugated. While many monarchs felt an obligation, both ‘divine’ and moral to behave with care and responsibility, others acted in pure self interest, free of any accountability for their actions. With the backing a large army or, sizeable personal guard, it became increasing difficult to hold monarchs accountable and one had to rely on goodwill in most cases, rather than enforcement.

“The shooter pulled up in a Honda, got out, was in all black and approached Mr and Mrs [redacted], shot Mrs [redacted] first, then Mr [redacted], then immediately ran to the woods.”
Our source continued by saying: “He’s 29. And no connection (to the victims) at all. He was wearing a black hoodie black pants, black mask, hood up, black gloves, black boots.”
“I know the guy had a lot of ammo. It seems as if he set himself up in the ditches with ammo because the police were saying that their drone could see him but they couldn’t get eyes on him. He had to have planned this for a while because most people don’t know those woods like that.”

Remembering President Trump’s Mom and the Family’s Long Faith Journey from Scotland to American Success
Under sunny, seventy-degree skies, 18-year-old Mary Anne Smith MacLeod, the future mother of President Donald J. Trump, stepped off the steamship Transylvania onto Ellis Island and into a future that would exceed her wildest dreams.
It was 90 years ago, Sunday, May 11, 1930 – Mother’s Day – that Mary MacLeod completed a 9-day journey across the Atlantic Ocean from the small Hebridean Island of Lewis, off the west coast of Scotland. With $50 in her pocket, she would settle with family in the New York City borough of Queens.
For 6 years, Mary worked as a nanny before meeting and marrying Frederick Trump – a scrappy developer who began his career in high school building garages to house people’s new automobiles.
As the nation pauses to celebrate its mothers this year in the midst of a global pandemic, what can we learn from the life of the mother of our nation’s chief executive?
In a Mother’s Day address back in 2018, President Trump referred to his late mom as “warm, loving and really smart.” He alluded to picking up from her such traits as feistiness and resiliency. He then added, “I miss her a lot.”
So, who was Mary MacLeod and what shaped her?

China President Xi Pressured WHO Leader To Hold Back On Virus Warning
China's President Xi Jinping reportedly pressured the director of the World Health Organization in January to hold off issuing a global warning about the coronavirus outbreak.
German media outlet Der Spiegel, citing intelligence from the country’s intelligence service, Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND), reported the pressure came in a Jan. 21 call to WHO leader Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
The BND estimated China’s action to conceal information resulted in a loss of four to six weeks in the fight against COVID-19.
The WHO denied the claim as “unfounded and untrue.”

Franklin Graham: No Interest in Federal Money Meant for WHO
Rev. Franklin Graham says his Christian relief charity has no interest in receiving any of the funding President Donald Trump has withheld from the World Health Organization over its handling of the coronavirus.
Samaritan’s Purse, Graham’s international relief charity, has operated a field hospital for coronavirus patients in New York’s Central Park since last month that sparked local opposition, even as its work was recognized at a White House ceremony this week marking the National Day of Prayer.
While the New York Post has reported the charity is under consideration to receive some of the U.S. funding Trump has paused for the U.N. health agency, the evangelist said he doesn’t expect it.
“First of all, it’s not going to come,” Graham, son of the late Rev. Billy Graham, told The Associated Press during a visit this week to thank medical workers at the field hospital. “But it would be too much of a controversy if they gave Samaritan’s Purse a penny. And it’s just not worth it.”
“God provides what we need,” Graham said, adding that “I kind of like not being beholden to the government.”

Cotton: Phone Data Suggests Roads Around Wuhan Lab Were Closed in Mid-October
Sunday, during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) highlighted how cell phone data suggests the Chinese government had closed the roads around the Wuhan Institute of Virology in mid-October.
This is significant, as Cotton points out, that some believe the Wuhan facility is the origin of the COVID-19 virus.
“Reports emerged yesterday in the media that publicly available cell phone data suggests that roads around the lab in Wuhan was closed in the middle of October,” he said. “Again, this information is publicly available. American media has used it to analyze mobility patterns in states to see if our people are practicing social distancing. So the reports indicate that on major roads around these labs, Wuhan, you obviously had thousands and thousands of cell phones pinging towers day in and day out. And then, all of a sudden, it stopped. And it remained stopped for several days. That would suggest, without any further information, that those roads were blocked for some reason.”
“Now, we need to go confirm that,” Cotton continued. “We need to look at the data carefully. We also need to try to use other means to verify if there were, in fact, shutdowns of roads around those labs in the middle of October. The Chinese Communist Party could obviously help us with that if they would open up and allow us to investigate what happened in Wuhan.

Jonathan Turley Rips Obama’s ‘Leaked’ Statement About the DOJ and Flynn
As my colleague reported earlier, a “private call” from former President Barack Obama just happened to be leaked to Michael Isikoff.
Strange, isn’t it, how this leak parallels leaks during the Russia investigation that also went to Isikoff with information seemingly meant to undermine Donald Trump? The same reporter who was leaked to about Carter Page. Almost as if there’s a pattern there that we’re seeing once again.
On the call that obviously was private and not at all staged to be leaked, Obama said he was concerned that the “rule of law is at risk” after what he called the unprecedented move of the Justice Department dismissing the charges against Gen. Michael Flynn.
From Yahoo News:
“The news over the last 24 hours I think has been somewhat downplayed — about the Justice Department dropping charges against Michael Flynn,” Obama said in a web talk with members of the Obama Alumni Association.
What utter gall.
Georgetown Law School constitutional law expert Jonathan Turley had a few things to say about Obama’s remarks.

PRAGER: The Worldwide Lockdown May Be The Greatest Mistake In History
The idea that the worldwide lockdown of virtually every country other than Sweden may have been an enormous mistake strikes many — including world leaders; most scientists, especially health officials, doctors and epidemiologists; those who work in major news media; opinion writers in those media; and the hundreds of millions, if not billions, of people who put their faith in these people — as so preposterous as to be immoral. Timothy Egan of The New York Times described Republicans who wish to enable their states to open up as “the party of death.”
That’s the way it is today on planet Earth, where deceit, cowardice and immaturity now dominate almost all societies because the elites are deceitful, cowardly and immature.
But for those open to reading thoughts they may differ with, here is the case for why the worldwide lockdown is not only a mistake but also, possibly, the worst mistake the world has ever made.

Database Swells to 1,285 Proven Cases of Voter Fraud in America
All-mail elections have received heightened attention in the media these past few weeks. Prominent liberals highly endorse the idea, claiming it allows people to do their patriotic duty without risking being infected by the coronavirus.
In reality, without rigid safeguards to prevent fraud, misuse, and voter intimidation, absentee ballot fraud—while it may occur sporadically—already has affected the outcome of elections in states and counties across the country.
Just look at the 2018 congressional race in North Carolina that was overturned by the state election board. Or the mayor of Gordon, Alabama, who was removed from office last year after his conviction for absentee ballot fraud.
Although talk of voter fraud may be increasing because of the stakes in the 2020 election, The Heritage Foundation’s Election Fraud Database has been around for four years. With the addition of our latest batch of cases, we are up to 1,285 proven instances of voter fraud.
Heritage’s database is by no means comprehensive. It doesn’t capture all voter fraud cases and certainly doesn’t capture reported instances that aren’t even investigated or prosecuted. The database is intended to demonstrate the vulnerabilities in the election system and the many ways in which fraud is committed.

Top Liberal Operative Funnels Millions From Super PAC to Her Private Firm
Tara McGowan, the Democrat operative most closely associated with the technological fiasco that unfolded in the Iowa caucuses, has funneled nearly $2.4 million from her super PAC to her private firm. It is the latest in a series of transfers between entities in her dark money network.
New disclosure forms show that PACRONYM, a super PAC affiliated with McGowan's nonprofit ACRONYM—the dark money group behind the botched Iowa caucus app—spent close to $2.4 million on anti-Trump ads Wednesday night that will run in the key swing state of Pennsylvania. The money was sent to a for-profit digital consulting firm, Lockwood Strategy Lab, which is also part of McGowan's network.
McGowan's PAC has been active in an effort by Democrat groups to flood battleground states with ads criticizing President Donald Trump's response to the coronavirus pandemic. The PAC's filings show that it has been heavily financed by the same wealthy liberal donors who also provide millions to a number of groups undertaking similar efforts.
McGowan, who previously worked for Priorities USA Action and President Obama's reelection campaign, created ACRONYM following the 2016 election to rival Trump's online operations.
While ACRONYM does not disclose its donors, some of its funders can be gleaned from public records. For example, Federal Election Commission filings show that the nonprofit received $300,000 from Nancy Pelosi's House Majority PAC in 2018.

Gov. Cuomo admits he was wrong to order nursing homes to accept coronavirus patients
Gov. Andrew Cuomo has finally admitted — tacitly and partially, anyway — the mistake that was state health chief Howard Zucker’s order that nursing homes must admit coronavirus-positive patients.
On Sunday, Cuomo announced a new regulation: Such patients must now test negative for the virus before hospitals can return them to nursing homes. Yet the gov also admitted that COVID-19 cases might still go to the facilities via other routes, and didn’t explicitly overrule Zucker’s March 25 mandate that homes must accept people despite their testing status — indeed, couldn’t even require a test pre-admission.
The gov’s people say that a home that simply can’t accommodate coronavirus patients never had to take them — though they are obliged to help those people find a place that will, with help available from the state if needed. That is: Zucker’s mandate was never more than a “don’t discriminate” rule.
But Zucker publicly presented it as “must accept” — and Cuomo’s remarks regularly implied there must be something wrong with a home that couldn’t handle corona patients.
So, while the gov’s people imply that some homes simply misunderstood the rules, the real message to operators was that declaring themselves overwhelmed would put their licenses at risk.

January 5, 2017: A Day that Should Live in Infamy
This week saw two major legal developments: The government withdrew its prosecution of General Michael Flynn and the transcripts of the 2017-2018 secret basement depositions by the House Committee on Intelligence were finally made public. Altogether they show a scandalous miscarriage of justice and media malpractice, which continues to this day, instigated by Barack Obama.
1. The Flynn Case
This week the Department of Justice announced that it was withdrawing its prosecution case against General Flynn. Former President Obama leaked his talking points to the ever-compliant press flacks and former officials, claiming that there was no precedent for such a dismissal, a claim that was false, to which he added another falsehood -- that Flynn had been charged with perjury.
Having the new script in hand, this nonsense was repeated ad nauseam on TV, some press, and the new media.
Law Professor Jonathan Turley swatted it back. (I urge you to clip and save this because this echo chamber may well have convinced those with whom you are related or converse with and it will come in handy.):

China's Incestuous Relationship with the WHO Might Be Worse Than We Originally Thought
Since the Wuhan coronavirus became a pandemic, we have learned more and more about China's incestuous relationship with the World Health Organization (WHO). When Taiwan attempted to blow the whistle on the virus that was raging on in China, the WHO turned their back and acted as though nothing was going on. In late January, the WHO parrotted the Chinese Communist Party's talking points, particularly that the Wuhan coronavirus was not transmitted from human-to-human. And the WHO knew they were wrong for ignoring Taiwan, which is why Bruce Alyward, the senior advisor to Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, hung up a Skype call with a reporter when asked about that very warning.
When President Donald Trump wanted to halt flights from China to the United States, the WHO advised against it. Of course, we've learned since then that it was the single best decision the president made during this crisis.
But now, it's looking like the relationship between the Chinese regime and the WHO goes much further than we once anticipated. President Xi Jinping personally asked Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to delay publishing vital information about the Wuhan coronavirus, the Daily Caller reported. Specifically, Xi wanted the WHO tonot tell the world that the coronavirus was transmitted from person-to-person, the BND, German's Federal Intelligence Service, concluded.
“The BND’s verdict is harsh: At least four, if not six, weeks have been lost in Beijing’s information policy in the fight against the virus,” German magazine Der Spiegelreported.
