UPDATE: TWO INJURED IN PLANE CRASH IN ANNE ARUNDEL CO.
(FT. MEADE, MD) – The two men injured in the crash of a small plane in Anne Arundel County this afternoon have been identified, as federal officials assume the investigation into the cause of the crash.

The victims are identified as Jeffry(sic) P. Barnett, 57, of Glen Burnie, Md., who was piloting the plane, and Thomas L. Cline, 82, of Silver Spring, Md. Both men were flown by Maryland State Police helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Shortly after 2:00 p.m. today, Maryland State Police at the Glen Burnie Barrack were dispatched to Bald Eagle Drive and Combat Drive, in Ft. Meade, for the report of a plane crash. Responding fire and rescue personnel were on the scene as troopers arrived. The single-engine plane was on its top in a wooded area. The two men injured were the only people on-board the plane.

The plane is a single-engine 1970 American AA-1. The aircraft is based at Tipton Airport and registered to Barnett, Cline, and a third party. The destination of the plane is unknown at this time.

Federal aviation and transportation officials have been notified of the crash. They have been on the scene and are expected again tomorrow. State troopers will be maintaining security around the crash site overnight.

Here's What We've Heard About What's To Become Of The Centre at Salisbury Mall

Boscov's will move to their own building on Rt. 13 in Delmar, Delaware. Sears will eventually close down, the new Furniture Store is closing in April or May. Charming Charlie's is moving into that space.

This person also said that Mall Management wants the retailers to all move toward the south end of the mall (toward the food court) so they can demolish the north end (JC Penneys, etc) of the Mall.

Then the mall officials want to make the center section an arts & entertainment section for music concerts, plays, etc.

Wait, there's more... alleged negotiations with Cracker Barrel to build on the north part of the property (where the demolished area is planned) will finally get them at "the Crossroads of Delmarva".

Dave & Buster's is also considering to build on the demolished mall property as well.

Salisbury News Follows Up On Yesterday's Daily Times Manufactured Article

The Desperate Reporting of the Daily Times or When is a Quorum NOT a Quorum and When Have YOU Had Enough?

One would think that after the debacle over their reporting of the events at Stephen Decatur High School, the Daily Times would try to be more circumspect in how they report what they believe is news. What does it mean to be more circumspect? If one is circumspect, one thinks carefully before doing or saying anything. A good quality in someone entrusted with responsibility such as main stream media is considered to be.

Reporter Phil Davis wrote an online article entitled “Culver, Council Closed Tour of School Raises Questions” that was posted on February 3, 2015. It was also in the print copy. Davis states the tour of West Salisbury Elementary organized by Wicomico County Executive

Bob Culver raised two questions: 1) what was the state of the school; and 2) did Culver facilitate an illegal quorum without informing the public. Before we go further, let’s look at some FACTS:

Definition of word “tour” – an activity in which you go through a place (such as a building or city) in order to see and learn about the different parts of it.

Definition of word “quorum” – the number of members of a group or organization required to be present to transact business legally.

Purpose of tour was information gathering on the condition of the school.

This was not a legal meeting and no business was conducted therefore the question about a “quorum” is irrelevant.

Culver recruited VOLUNTEERS with EXPERTISE in various areas of construction including architecture, electrical, roofing and maintenance to attend the tour.

Volunteers provided a WRITTEN REPORT for FREE as in NO COST TO THE TAXPAYER. This report has been made PUBLIC and is available to all citizens on the Wicomico County website.

Additional attendees were 5 members of the County Council, including the Council President; the Superintendent of Public Schools, members of the Board of Education; the Principal of the West Salisbury and community member Mike Dunn.

Now that THE FACTS are on the table, what the heck is Davis’ point and more importantly his motivation in writing that article? The bulk of his article is not about the condition of the school or the findings of the “volunteers”, but questions the legality of the “tour”. REALLY? Is that what the Daily Times thinks is news – trying to create a controversy out of thin air?

How about the fact that Culver recruited VOLUNTEERS who produced a FREE REPORT on their findings? How about the findings themselves? How about an editorial thanking those dedicated citizens who care enough about Wicomico County that they donated their time and talent to not only tour, but write follow-up reports on their findings at NO COST TO TAXPAYERS. And let’s not forget those devilish County Council members, how dare they show interest in seeing the condition of West Salisbury school for themselves and actually go on a tour – it must be a violation of something!!!

It’s hard to believe that Davis came up with the “quorum” thing on his own. Someone likely whispered it in his ear. The motivation is transparent. Culver is a threat to the status quo and there are those who just can’t stand it. Culver is doing what he said he would do during his campaign – almost unheard of by a “politician” - clearly proving he isn’t a politician, but a businessman.

Let’s be real…it is clear the Democrats allowed Pollitt to lose. They did NOTHING to support him. He had NO CAMPAIGN. He RAISED NO MONEY and had to BEG FOR FUNDS in the last 10 days of the campaign. It was so bad even the Council RINOs donated and attended a thrown together fundraiser in the last week. HE HAD VIRTUALLY NO SUPPORT FROM HIS OWN PARTY. The Dems got rid of Pollitt as planned and want Culver to be a one term Executive so they can put their new candidate in office in 4 years. What the “haters” and the Daily Times didn’t expect and now need to accept - the people not only rallied around Culver, but did so by quite a large margin, they want change and THEY ARE BEHIND CULVER MORE EVERY DAY.

So what are the “haters” and the Daily Times doing? They are scared to death of Culver because he reaches out to all kinds of people and can bring them together to work on County issues. He doesn’t care where a good idea comes from and realizes some of the best ideas come from the least powerful. They are scared because there is enthusiasm and hope coming from the taxpayers and their powerful elite of the last 8 years are losing!

They are creating issues out of non-issues in a pathetic attempt to discredit Culver – so you get the “did Culver facilitate an illegal quorum…” article. Look for more of these bogus attacks as time goes by, but just like the outrage created by the Stephen Decatur article, more and more people will turn away from the Daily Times. There is a “drop your subscription” petition going around over the Decatur reporting. Since the Daily Times can’t manage to support or even refrain from making up fake news about the people’s chosen County Executive, a “drop your subscription” petition should be started in Wicomico County. There is a huge difference between news and made up news. Here’s hoping that the citizens of Wicomico County are smart enough to tell the Daily Times ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

BREAKING NEWS, DAILY TIMES IN THE DOG HOUSE

Salisbury News has confirmed the Daily Times has in fact let go a ton of employees.

We know that at least 7 are gone from the news room. Three photographer's have been let go, leaving only one photographer for the entire tri state area.

As for the sports section there are only two reporters left to. Over the entire trip state area as well.

We've been told the paper is breaking away from local news and will be more like the USA TODAY and or SBYNEWS.

Get this. They pretty much let everyone there go and each person has to reapply for their position at a much lower salary. Hence several people flat out quit.

As for the title of this article, well, all of the equipment is gone and the majority of space left there is being sublease out to a dog food company.

I'd ask that the mayor and council STOP allowing ANY more tax breaks as this company has s reed over Salisbury several times I  recent years as well as their veteran and loyal staff.

UPDATE, We're told they're breaking away from the local news and converting to be more like a USA TODAY or SBYNEWS.

7 States That Are Next in Line to Legalize Marijuana

During a series of YouTube interviews Thursday, President Obama demonstrated a remarkably laissez-faire attitude toward marijuana legalization experiments in the states. And he signaled strongly that the Obama administration wouldn't be taking to the hustings to try to beat back legalization efforts, as previous administrations had been wont to do.

"What you're seeing now is Colorado, Washington through state referenda, they're experimenting with legal marijuana," the president said in response to a question from YouTube host Hank Green. "The position of my administration has been that we still have federal laws that classify marijuana as an illegal substance, but we're not going to spend a lot of resources trying to turn back decisions that have been made at the state level on this issue. My suspicion is that you're gonna see other states start looking at this."

Indeed. Legalization bills are already popping up in state legislatures around the country, and while it's unlikely—though not impossible—that any of them will pass this year, 2016 looks to be the break-out year for freeing the weed. One state is going to be the first to legalize it through the legislature, and next year seems reasonable. And the presidential election year is also likely to see successful legalization initiatives in several more.

Obama at National Prayer Breakfast: Hey, Christians did things just as bad as ISIS, you know

We shouldn't "get on our high horse" and think we're better, America.

My God. While ISIS is burning people alive, our president wants us to know we shouldn't get all impressed with ourselves and think we're any better than they are.

Put your hand up if you voted for this guy. Now lower it and smack yourself hard in the back of your head. Seriously, while the best he can say about ISIS is that he wants to "degrade" the possibly most sadistic killers the world has ever seen, he sure as hell wants you Christians to know that you've been pretty horrible yourself throughout human history.

Habitual Beggar Nick Parks At It Again

Although Nick Parks was recently and finally arrested, (as seen HERE) moments ago the second image was taken on Rt. 13 where he is right back to his old tricks.

Salisbury Police, Maryland State Police and even the Sheriff's Office have been cracking down on this in a big way, especially near WalMart north and the Sam's Club area. However, Nick, who lives IN a home in Delmar and drives a new car couldn't care less about getting arrested.

Please people, STOP feeding this guy money.

Detroit man with marathon walking commute surprised with new car

(Reuters) - A Detroit factory worker who has walked more than 20 miles (32 km) during his daily commute to work for a decade was surprised on Friday with a brand new car, donated by a suburban car dealership.

The unexpected gift is the latest in an outpouring of donations from supporters across the globe who, touched by James Robertson's plight, have raised more than $310,000 to help him buy a car.

Robertson has told the Detroit Free Press that his car broke down a decade ago and, making $10.55 an hour, he has been unable to save for a new one.

"I don't like it, I love it," said Robertson, 56, who appeared baffled as he sat behind the wheel of his 2015 red Ford Taurus. "If only my parents could see me now."

Did Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue go too low with Hannah Davis’s bikini bottom?

Hannah Davis isn’t naked on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s annual Swimsuit Issue, but she almost is. The 24-year-old model and girlfriend of retired New York Yankee Derek Jeter is pictured tugging seductively at her bikini bottom, which is slung so low that a centimeter more would make the shot more suitable for Playboy.

The shot has caused several people to question whether Sports Illustrated has, um, dipped a little too low by giving Davis’s pelvis prime real estate on the the annual issue’s cover.

“Will we all be desensitized when SI debuts a swimsuit issue with a bottomless model? Seems like we’re gettin there,” People magazine senior writer Lynette Rice said on Twitter

Common Core

Town Hall & More!

The Common Core standards being implemented across our state are causing quite a stir among parents and teachers.

A Town Hall on Common Core was held at FOX45 on Thursday, January 29. Joining me on their panel were;
Robert Small - local Dad arrested for interrupting MD State Dept of Education forum on Common Core;
Will Estrada - Home School Legal Defense Association; &
Cheryl Bost - VP, Maryland State Education Association

The audience was comprised of parents, teachers, and students. Overall, there was little support for this new program.

Click Here to Watch the Town Hall

There are a number of bills being introduced this year in Annapolis from a repeal of Common Core to a delay in full implementation. I have opposed common core for a number of reasons. Primarily, the collection of student data is very troubling. Additionally, I oppose the federal government take-over of our local schools. Washington D.C. is pushing Common Core on the states. This "new" way to teach our children is untested, and there is no estimate of how much it will cost to fully implement the program. Let's not experiment with our children's education on a program that has not been analyzed for effectiveness or cost.

Md. Democrats draw line in the sand, prepare to battle Hogan over reductions in planned education spending

Maryland Democrats, demoralized by their party’s losses in November, have found a rallying cry: protect education spending.

Senior members of the House and the Senate joined the state’s largest teachers union at its headquarters in Annapolis on Tuesday to protest a budget proposal by Gov. Larry Hogan (R) that would curb planned funding of k-12 education in the coming fiscal year.

“It is important for us never to cut back on our commitment to education,” House Speaker Michael E. Busch (D-Anne Arundel) said at the packed event, at which the Maryland State Education Association unveiled a Web site where parents can see the potential impact of Hogan’s proposals on classrooms in their county.

Prince George’s County, for example, would get $6,909.92 less per classroom next year than expected, according to the Web site, which features a play on Hogan’s “Change Maryland” campaign slogan. The altered version: Don’t Shortchange Maryland.

Salisbury Considers Occupancy Enforcement Policy

SALISBURY – The City of Salisbury Department of Neighborhood Services has proposed an Occupancy Enforcement Policy due to an increase in over-occupancy violations.

The ordinance before the council on Monday evening stated, “The Department of Neighborhood Service and Code Compliance is experiencing a rise in over-occupancy violations, and due to this rise in over occupancy, there is a need to strengthen the enforcement for occupancy violations. A reduction in the allowed occupancy of nonconforming uses where over-occupancy has occurred is desirable, and the addition of denial, nonrenewal, revocation or suspension of a license or registration will make enforcement more effective.”

Neighborhood Service and Code Compliance (NSCC) Director Susan Phillips submitted to the City Council a proposed Occupancy Enforcement Policy that would go into effect if the proposed over-occupancy legislation goes into effect.

Ted Cruz Smoked Weed When He Was A Teenager

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) smoked marijuana as a teenager, according to a spokesperson, who described the potential 2016 presidential candidate's youthful experimentation as a "mistake."

The Daily Mail's David Martosko asked 10 potential GOP presidential candidates whether they had smoked pot. Cruz's camp was one of seven to respond, and the only one to offer new details on their boss' past drug use.

"Teenagers are often known for their lack of judgment, and Sen. Cruz was no exception," the spokesperson told the paper. "When he was a teenager, he foolishly experimented with marijuana. It was a mistake, and he's never tried it since."

Last week, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) told the Boston Globe that he, too, had experimented with marijuana in high school.

“I drank alcohol and I smoked marijuana when I was at Andover,” Bush, who is "actively" exploring a 2016 bid, said. "It was pretty common."

Mayor Jim Ireton Continues To Prove He Just Doesn't Care

A couple years ago I stood in front of this business and announced I was going to run for Mayor.

I purposely chose this location to prove Salisbury Maryland and Mayor Jim Ireton were not business friendly.

Two years later, nothing at all has changed. So do tell me how your choice of LIBERAL leadership is working for all of you? This is a business that could INCREASE the amount of employees they can hire. Their business is booming but instead, their interests are now in Delaware, not Salisbury.

All too often we are seeing the same thing, businesses either at a stand still or simply closing their doors. Ireton and Day get all excited when the small chain businesses keep opening in Salisbury only to provide mainly minimum wage jobs. Even their new proposals for Downtown are offering the same kind of income.

The only positive thing happening here is our new County Executive Bob Culver and the support he is receiving from our new Governor Larry Hogan.

We need businesses and business men like Danny Burt and others. Because your leaders have NO business experience and only tend to support Liberal businesses, Salisbury continues to fall apart. You need a new CONSERVATIVE Mayor with a business background. You need to encourage someone to run for Mayor and turn Salisbury around before it's too late.

WBOC Just Can't Resist Copying From Salisbury News

They say that imitation is the best form of flattery. Well, not so when it comes to taking stories from someone else and not giving them proper credit.

WBOC, "Delmarva's News Leader" has once again taken yet another story from Salisbury News and never once mentioned where it came from.

Look, I don't want to come off as a whiner but let me assure you, we work extremely hard every single day. Salisbury News has less then a hand full of people extremely dedicated in delivering you accurate breaking local news and other stories and information we feel is important and or educational to you. We've spent the past ten years, 365 days a year, delivering you real time news and information and I'll be damned if we're going to just sit here and let others take credit for our hard work.

Yesterday we provided an article that in my opinion went viral on the Internet. This is what these "News Leaders" keep a keen eye on. Once they see something popular, they don't care that it's an original piece, they just take it and make it their own.

Tonight WBOC, (out of nowhere) did a story about the Mall, who's coming soon etc.. WBOC has quite a large staff and quite frankly WBOC brings in MILLIONS of dollars in advertising revenue. Whenever Salisbury News sees an interesting story produced by WBOC, we follow the LAW. We put their header at the top, we publish a few paragraphs and then create a MORE link to their Website. This not only gives them full credit for the story, it also delivers them tens of thousands of HITS, in which they use to SELL their advertisers.

Now, I'd either like to see an apology for their unethical refusal to follow MSM PROTOCOL or we'd like to see a monthly check for OUR hard work. They, (and anyone else) are welcome to OUR stories as long as they deliver the same RESPECT by using OUR header, a few paragraphs of OUR story and a link back to OUR Website.

Jordan's King Abdullah quotes Eastwood - takes the gloves off in battle with ISIS

'ISIS is now going to regret this … because King Abdullah is not Barack Obama.'

Here in the United States, we're used to an administration that dithers, deliberates, and debates every issue until it's too late to do anything of substance. It's Obama's standard M.O. and we've seen it with Keystone XL, the HealthCare.gov debacle, and - most egregiously - his decision to label ISIS the jayvee team.

King Abdullah of Jordan is not Barack Obama. After seeing Americans beheaded by ISIS, Obama is busy wondering what "bankrupt ideology" could possibly have spurred such atrocities. After seeing his pilot burned alive, King Abdullah is quoting Clint Eastwood and promising to wipe ISIS off the face of the Earth.

The 3 deadliest drugs in America are all totally legal

As the US debates drug policy reforms and marijuana legalization, there's one aspect of thewar on drugs that remains perplexingly contradictory: some of the most dangerous drugs in the US are legal.

Don't believe it? The available data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows tobacco, alcohol, and opioid-based prescription painkillers were responsible for more direct deaths than any other drug in 2011. This chart compares those drug deaths with the best available data for cocaine, heroin, and marijuana deaths:

NOT GUILTY! Luke Rommel Wins Yet Another Case Against Salisbury Police

The Salisbury University Student Travis Guthrie was found NOT GUILTY by yet another Jury in Wicomico County tonight.

Attorney Luke Rommel has had a very trying past few months taking on at least FIVE cases against one Salisbury Police Officer Justin Aita who we stated months ago is a rogue Officer.

Guthrie is extremely pleased with the outcome and is looking forward to moving on with his life.

Several civil lawsuits have been filed by the three Students as well as the 14 year old child who was also found NOT GUILTY

Rommel took on quite a risk representing all of these clients on a local level. I say that because when you live in such a small town atmosphere, most attorneys won't take on such cases. Luke saw the injustice in all of these cases and chose to put his neck on the line to make sure everyone had proper representation.
If you are ever in need of an incredible attorney, call Luke Rommel at 410-749-3900.

Just In: Saudi princes planned to down Air Force One with missile

A former Al-Qaeda member has revealed a strong connection between the terrorist group and the Saudi Royal family in the 1990s. More notably, he alleges that Saudi princes and terrorists discussed a plan to shoot Air Force One out of the sky.

The revelations came in the form of a testimony, delivered from a maximum-security prison, where Zacarias Moussaoui is incarcerated.

According to the New York Times, Moussaoui submitted the claim on his own initiative. He sent a letter to the judge presiding over the lawsuit filed by family members of 9/11 victims against the government of Saudi Arabia.

And so, for two days last October, lawyers were permitted for the first time to interview the terrorist at the federal prison – the most secure facility in the federal system, in Florence, Colorado. He gave a damning report that included very prominent members within the royal family, including three princes he says were all Al-Qaeda donors.

Report: The Gravy Train Is Over For Welfare Recipients: ‘Earn Your Keep or Go Hungry’

For those who are tired of seeing their hard earned money forcibly seized by the government and redistributed to those who refuse to contribute anything of value to society. Even the staunchest of conservatives and libertarians understands that a civilized society needs to provide some level of support for those who are sick, disabled, or simply going through a rough period like losing a job. Americans are a generous people and for the most part we’re all willing to chip in to make our country a better place.

But we can all probably agree that within the social programs designed to provide for the truly needy there also exist hundreds of thousands of people who have made a career out of taking advantage of our good nature and living off government subsistence. These people are able-bodied and fully capable of performing labor of some kind, but like one woman who recently called in to an Austin radio show, they prefer to sit at home because they know they are “still gonna get paid.”

I get to sit home… I get to go visit my friends all day… I even get to smoke weed…

Me and people that I know that are illegal immigrants that don’t contribute to society, we still gonna get paid.

Our check’s gonna come in the mail every month… and it’s gonna be on time… and we get subsidized housing… we even get presents delivered for our kids on Christmas… Why should I work?

Laura Mitchell Appointed to National League of Cities

Washington, D.C. – Laura Mitchell, Salisbury City Council Vice President has been reappointed to the National League of Cities (NLC) 2015 Finance, Administration and Intergovernmental Relations Steering Committee. This committee has the lead responsibility for developing NLC federal policy positions on issues involving national economic policy, general financial assistance programs, liability insurance, intergovernmental relations, census, municipal bonds and capital finance, municipal management, antitrust issues, citizen participation and civil rights, labor relations, Native American sovereignty and municipal authority. The appointment was announced by NLC President Ralph E. Becker, mayor, Salt Lake City, Utah.

“We do not live by our rules alone,” said Council Vice President Mitchell. “We are subject to State and Federal rules and regulations as well. Serving on the FAIR Committee gives Salisbury a voice in Washington, DC on federal matters that impact us. Issues like preserving the tax exempt status of our bonds, the loss of which likely add 2% to our borrowing costs. That equates to nearly $1M on a project the size of the wastewater treatment plant. Marketplace Fairness, another NLC legislative priority, is critical in keeping our small businesses competitive with online sellers. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving Salisbury in this way.”

As a member of the committee, Laura Mitchell will play a key role in shaping NLC’s policy positions and advocate on behalf of America’s cities and towns before Congress, with the Administration and at home.

The chair of this year’s Finance, Administration and Intergovernmental Relations Committee is Andy Hafen, mayor, Henderson, Nev. Serving as this year’s vice chairs are Cynthia Mangini, councilmember, Enfield, Conn. and Darius Brown, councilmember, Wilmington, Del.

For more information on NLC’s other committees and councils, visit http://www.nlc.org/influence-federal-policy/policy-committees.

The National League of Cities (NLC) is dedicated to helping city leaders build better communities. NLC is a resource and advocate for 19,000 cities, towns and villages, representing more than 218 million Americans.

Jordan hangs 2 Al Qaeda prisoners after ISIS video shows Jordanian pilot burned alive

Jordan executed two Al Qaeda prisoners early Wednesday in response to a graphic video released by the ISIS terror group that showed a captured Jordanian pilot being burned alive in a cage.

The release of the video sparked outrage and anti-ISIS demonstrations in Jordan, while Syrian activists reported that the terrorists gleefully played the grisly footage on big-screen televisions in their de facto capital, Raqqa.

Government spokesman Mohammed al-Momani confirmed to the Associated Press that Jordan had executed Sajida al-Rishawi and Ziad al-Karbouly, two Iraqis linked to Al Qaeda. Another official told the AP that both prisoners had been hanged. The executions took place at Swaqa prison about 50 miles south of the Jordanian capital of Amman. At sunrise, two ambulances carrying the bodies of al-Rishawi and al-Karbouly drove away from the prison with security escorts.

New ISIS video shows Jordanian pilot being burned alive

A new video that surfaced on the Internet Tuesday shows ISIS burning alive a Jordanian pilot the terror group has held since December -- an act that reportedly has prompted Jordan to ready the execution of an unknown number of terrorist prisoners.

The 22-minute video, which Jordan said is authentic, brought a grisly end to speculation into the fate of Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh, 26, who was captured when his plane crashed during a bombing mission in Syria Dec. 24. The video, which reports said could have been made more than a month ago, shows the pilot standing in a cage with a line of fuel leading to him, which is then ignited, causing him to burst into flames. Islamic State had previously sought to trade Al-Kaseasbeh for Sajida al-Rishawi, an Iraqi woman who is in a Jordanian prison for her role in a 2005 suicide bomb attack that killed 60 people in Amman.

BREAKING NEWS: GOP-led House votes to repeal ObamaCare

WASHINGTON – The House voted Tuesday to repeal the Affordable Care Act, getting Republicans on record in favor of overturning the law for the first time since the party took control of Congress.

The bill passed on a 239-186 vote.

President Obama already has threatened to veto the legislation -- and like past bills to repeal ObamaCare, it is unlikely to go far under the current administration, despite Republicans now controlling the Senate and having a bigger majority in the House.

But the vote serves as an opening shot in the 114th Congress’ efforts to chip away at the law. Several lawmakers have introduced bills to change or undo parts of the Affordable Care Act, and some could garner bipartisan support.

Prior to the vote, Obama questioned the logic behind it.

Netanyahu Fires Back at 'Obama Army' Plotting His Defeat

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ruling Likud Party hit back Sunday at a U.S.-linked organization staffed with former Obama campaigners now working to defeat Netanyahu in an upcoming general election.

Victory 2015, or V15, attracted U.S. media attention after it hired 270 Strategies, a consulting firm whose senior leadership is comprised mostly of former top staffers for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.

During a press conference Sunday, the Likud Party officially accused V15 and other related nonprofits of being supported “through millions of dollars funneled from Europe, the U.S. and the New Israel Fund and international factors interested in bringing down Prime Minister Netanyahu” who think “that all means are appropriate.”

The Likud further called for Israel’s Central Elections Committee to outlaw V15′s activities to “ensure the integrity of the election.”

The party today will be filing an official complaint with the Committee seeking an injunction against V15, Likud sources said.

New York Cop Pulls Gun on Teens Having Snowball Fight

“Don’t f-ing move, guys,” the New Rochelle police officer can be heard on video as he points his gun at the youths, who are down on their knees with their hands in the air.

The cop proceeds to pat each of the youths down with one hand while holding the gun, continually telling them not to move.

Once the officer realized the fear was all in his head, he released the teens with no charges.

The officer had initially responded to a “disturbance,” according to Raw Story.

Experts: Iran Now a Nuclear-Ready State, Missiles Could Hit US

Regardless of intelligence uncertainties and unknowns about Iran's nuclear weapons and missile programs, we know enough now to make a prudent judgment that Iran should be regarded by national security decision makers as a nuclear missile state capable of posing an existential threat to the United States and its allies.

On Jan. 22, The Jerusalem Post reported that Iran deployed an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capable of reaching the United States. It was also shown on Israeli television.

Iran's development of an ICBM at this time would be consistent with unclassified U.S. intelligence community reports that in 2013 warned Iran could test an ICBM by 2015.

Iran and others claim the missile is not a military ICBM for delivering nuclear warheads but a peaceful Space Launch Vehicle (SLV) for orbiting satellites.

This is a distinction without a difference.

Iran has a demonstrated capability to orbit satellites weighing over a ton, which means it could also deliver a nuclear warhead against the U.S. or any nation on Earth. Indeed, Iran has orbited several satellites on south polar trajectories passing over the western hemisphere from south to north, as if practicing to elude U.S. Ballistic Missile Early Warning Radars and National Missile Defenses, which are oriented to detect and intercept threats coming from the north.

Moreover, the altitude of these satellites, if they were carrying a nuclear weapon detonated over the center of the U.S., was in all three cases near optimum for generating an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) field across all 48 contiguous United States. EMP could cause a protracted blackout of the national electric grid and other life-sustaining critical infrastructures.

Joe Montana says Quraterback Tom Brady responsible for Deflategate

Hall of fame Quarterback Joe Montana of the San Francisco 49ers has no doubt in his mind that patriots quarterback Tom Brady is responsible for the Deflategate scandal.

'If I ever want a ball a certain way, I don’t do it myself. So, somebody did it for him,' said Montana on Thursday.

'But I don’t know why everybody is making a big deal out of trying to figure out who did it. It’s pretty simple. If it was done, it was done for a reason. There is only one guy that does it. Nobody else cares what the ball feels like,' he added.
