The Racist Liberal System
George Zimmerman was tried, convicted and sentenced in the media on the charge of Racism in the First Degree without a single piece of supporting evidence other than the bare fact of his altercation with a black man.
Had there been a time when Zimmerman had uttered a racial slur then NBC or the New York Times would have dug it up and presented it to readers and viewers first thing next morning. Instead the volume of opposing evidence, including Zimmerman’s advocacy on behalf of a homeless black man assaulted by police was ignored as a fact inconvenient to the racial narrative.

NASA’s LADEE Rocket Mission To Launch Friday From Va.’s Eastern Shore
This LADEE is a champ: See NASA’s latest rocket mission soar into space from the greater Washington metropolitan area Friday night at 11:27 p.m. The flight will be launched — relatively close by — from Wallops Island on Virginia’s Eastern Shore.
If skies are clear, the launch window will be 11:27 p.m. to 11:31 p.m., NASA says. For Washington area residents, look to the south-southeast by that time, since rockets move at blistering speeds.

9 Questions About Syria You Were Too Embarrassed To Ask
The United States and allies are preparing for a possibly imminent series of limited military strikes against Syria, the first direct U.S. intervention in the two-year civil war, in retaliation for President Bashar al-Assad’s suspected use of chemical weapons against civilians.
If you found the above sentence kind of confusing, or aren’t exactly sure why Syria is fighting a civil war, or even where Syria is located, then this is the article for you. What’s happening in Syria is really important, but it can also be confusing and difficult to follow even for those of us glued to it.
Here, then, are the most basic answers to your most basic questions. First, a disclaimer: Syria and its history are really complicated; this is not an exhaustive or definitive account of that entire story, just some background, written so that anyone can understand it.

People Who Grow Their Own Food Labeled 'Extremist' By Dept. Of Defense
If the founding fathers were reincarnated today, they'd probably start another revolution, this time to break away from an American government that has become far too imperial for its own good.
And as such, they'd be labeled "extremists" by those who mean to rule us.
In fact, the nation's founders are considered extremists by the Pentagon, according to a new "training manual" that explicitly labels the framers as such.

Grab The Tissue: Saying Goodbye To A College-Bound Daughter
OK, get ready. This is really sweet. I was lucky to find a family who let us into their home to experience a very personal moment -- the moment they said goodbye to their first child going off to college.
Caryn and Doug Kopp of Bedminster, New Jersey, say they feel like it was just yesterday when they were bringing Jamie home from the hospital. Now they are packing up her things and preparing to take her to college -- and girding themselves for a much quieter home once she's no longer around.
Jamie predicts her dad will be the one to cry. Is she right?

HISTORICAL COMMENTS BY GEORGE CHEVALLIER 8-31-13
“THE OAKS DRIVE-IN”
Probably the most memorable of all the businesses that have lined either side of South Salisbury Boulevard was the once Oaks Drive-In, originated and operated for many years by former County Councilman Hermus W. Lowe. It was located at the intersection of an unpaved county road, running west to Camden Avenue past the residence of the George Wolf’s. Years later when Richard Cooper prepared a plat for the subdivision of the area, the name of Kay Ave. was given to the street, in honor of the Wolf’s daughter – now Mrs. Ted Wycall.
For the high school teenage set of the ‘50’s and ‘60’s, the Oaks became thegathering place, the haven and unofficial Mecca to meet, eat and drink Pepsi’s. Those were the days of the bobby socks, the fans of Dick Clark, when the lifestyle by current standards would appear very unsophisticated. Drugs were items such as penicillin, sulfa or the prescriptions for youngsters’ bouts with colds, acne and sprained muscles. Generally their wants were limited to hamburgers, milkshakes and maybe a beer.
Teenagers came from as far away as Dover and Cape Charles just to go to the Oaks. Those were the days of back roads drag racing and this was where all the matches were made. Usually when a good race was imminent, you could observe a mass exodus from the Oaks to the designated strip of back road. For those not having a car with good acceleration, there was always the hobby of customizing to the owners taste. The motto of the day was “If it won’t run, chrome it”. “Poppin’ hoods” was a familiar sight at the Oaks.
One of the most popular exercises was driving around the building. Eventually they put in speed bumps to slow people down. I think the record was the night that a boy drove his father’s tractor (as in tractor/trailer) around the Oaks a total of 100 times.
Fights were rare and the only time I remember someone getting knocked down, the recipient of the blow later claimed that he had slipped on a French fry. Usually things were settled by a lot of “jawing”.
If you were lucky enough to get a “stand” outside, that was a cherished place for the remainder of the night. The car-hops would bring you food and drink and you could sit there and observe all the activity.
There was a lot of entertainment to be had for less than $2. Those were the days.
The Tony Tank branch of the PNC Bank sits on the site now.
Overpasses For Impeachment Of Obama Salisbury Md
Mr Albero,
Overpasses For The Impeach Maryland will be holding a rally on Sept 11, 2013 rain or shine event located on the Rt 13/50 Overpass right before you get to Royal Farms and the District courthouse and Md Tire Center. This will be an all day event. We were wondering if you could get our message out on your website and anybody is welcome to make a sign and join us for who ever is fed up with the direction the country is going. We have a link also it is www.overpasses.org and we have a link on facebook for Maryland it is www.facebook.com/groups/145278722333166/ ; Thank You Mr Albero and may you always be blessed.
What is Overpasses for Impeachment?
It is an independent grassroots movement with members in all 50 states.
How did it get started?
It began in Carlsbad California by a group of people who were making a statement and exercising their first amendment rights. James Neighbors took the idea and made a nationwide movement based on the first protest.
What exactly do you hope to accomplish?
We are regular everyday Americans that have lost jobs, our homes, and now many of our civil rights. We firmly believe that the President has committed many offenses against us as a nation. Many of the President's cabinet members, such as Eric Holder have clearly violated the first amendment when they targeted members of the press with illegally obtaining e-mail and phone records. We are appalled that the IRS targeted groups with anything pertaining to patriotism in their names and believe they were ordered to do so which is illegal. We have many questions that have gone unanswered for too long and we seek to have those questions answered. We will not forget the four killed in Benghazi and the wrath the survivors and witnesses have encountered and we demand justice and answers for those who can no longer speak for themselves. Therefore, our main objective is to call attention to these and many other things that are clearly against the well being of our country and the people. We want Congress to address the cries of a nation and to see that we are watching and if they do not respond they will feel our wrath at the polls.
Are you members of the Tea Party?
No, we are not
Are you a conservative only group?
No, we have members from all walks of life. At this time most us are not supporting any party because we are unhappy with the leadership and direction our country is heading.

Are You on the Federal List?
Are you a conservative, a libertarian, a Christian or a gun owner? Are you opposed to abortion, globalism, Communism, illegal immigration, the United Nations or the New World Order? Do you believe in conspiracy theories, do you believe that we are living in the “end times” or do you ever visit alternative news websites (such as this one)? If you answered yes to any of those questions, you are a “potential terrorist” according to official U.S. government documents. At one time, the term “terrorist” was used very narrowly. The government applied that label to people like Osama bin Laden and other Islamic jihadists. But now the Obama administration is removing all references to Islam from terror training materials, and instead the term “terrorist” is being applied to large groups of American citizens. And if you are a “terrorist”, that means that you have no rights and the government can treat you just like it treats the terrorists that are being held at Guantanamo Bay. So if you belong to a group of people that is now being referred to as “potential terrorists”, please don’t take it as a joke. The first step to persecuting any group of people is to demonize them. And right now large groups of peaceful, law-abiding citizens are being ruthlessly demonized.
Below is a list of 72 types of Americans that are considered to be “extremists” and “potential terrorists” in official U.S. government documents. To see the original source document for each point, just click on the link. As you can see, this list covers most of the country…
1. Those that talk about “individual liberties”
2. Those that advocate for states’ rights
3. Those that want “to make the world a better place”
4. “The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule”
5. Those that are interested in “defeating the Communists”
6. Those that believe “that the interests of one’s own nation areseparate from the interests of other nations or the common interest of all nations”
7. Anyone that holds a “political ideology that considers the state to be unnecessary, harmful,or undesirable”
8. Anyone that possesses an “intolerance toward other religions”
9. Those that “take action to fight against the exploitation of theenvironment and/or animals”

A Letter To The Editor: MRE In Local Schools
Joe,
It appears the internet is buzzing about MRE being place in schools where FEMA has the United States broke down in to zones with this area being zone 3. When our local school was asked they looked like deer in head lights, and was given no reply. Have your sources heard any reasons why? I know this is not a common practice.

The MSP is running a big radar trap just before coming into Princess Anne MD. They are even using a portable tree stand with the trooper shooting the radar. It is at the last 2 emergency crossovers before coming out of the woods.

Your recent post about the unemployment numbers caused me to reflect on the 8% plus increase on property taxes in Wicomico County this year. While I am greatful for my 1.7% increase as I am sure other county employees were, Being a low level employee the increased taxes on the property I own far surpassed any raise I received. Some county employees did not receive a 1.7 % increase they received raises that most of us would only dream about. What follows is a list of some of the Wicomico County employees that received increases above 1.7%. Many received $1500 to $3000 and are not listed Mathew Creamer $71.400 increase $5000.00 total salary $76.400 Melissa Holland $33.660 increase $5000.00 total salary $38.660 Wendy Riley $67.257 increase $10.743 total salary $78.000 James Britt $70.380 increase $4000 total salary $74.380 Andrew Illuminate $59.160 increase $4880 total salary $64.040 Mathew Maciarello $114.527 increase $4.100 total salary $118.627 Jarad Montiero $57.120 increase $4.880 increase to $62.000 Andrew Mackel $86.700 increase $10.000 total salary $96.000 Sheri Carey $40.800 increase $3.264 total salary $44.064 Kristen Conn $43.920 increase $9.080 total salary $53.000 Bryan Furches $ 42.869 increase $3.429 total salery $46.298 Patrick Perry $38.760 increase $5.240 total salary $44.000 Andrew Kitzrow $51.000 increase 4.080 total salary $55.080 Louis Rricherson $44.880 increase $3.590 total salary $48.770 Andrew Wisk $66.300 increase $3.700 total salary $70.000.
As stated above many employees received increases of $1.500.00 to $3.000.00 that was far above a 1.7% increase I only hope is that Wicomico County does not end up like Detroit. A complete salary list can be obtained from the executives office.

Despite Staff Concerns, Off-Season Beach Vehicle Access For Surf Fishing Moves Forward
OCEAN CITY – Despite objections from staff, the city’s elected officials gave the go ahead this week to allow vehicles on the beach to surf fish in the offseason and will initiate a pilot program this October if the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) approves.
During Tuesday’s Mayor and City Council work session, Ocean City property owner Tom Heiple, and his wife Alice, voiced their concerns over Ocean City allowing vehicles on the beach in the off-season. The matter was scheduled for the Mayor and Council to discuss later in the afternoon.
“My wife and I are very much opposed to this because we think it would adversely affect our enjoyment here,” Tom Heiple said.

COMPARING CROWDS: WHO DREW MORE PEOPLE TO THE LINCOLN MEMORIAL, OBAMA OR BECK?
The crowd during the rally at the Lincoln Memorial, Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013 |
The crowd during “Restoring Honor” in 2010 |
Wednesday was a big day in Washington, D.C. Huge crowds swarmed the area beneath the Lincoln Memorial and along the Reflecting Pool as three American presidents — Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter (George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush could not attend due to health reasons) — a host of congressional representatives and dignitaries gathered to mark the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a dream” speech.
There are no official crowd size numbers given for events held on the National Mall. The U.S. Park Police stopped giving crowd estimates following a very public disagreement on crowd size after 1995′s “Million Man March.”
Multiple news outlets reported that a crowd in excess of 100,000 people was expected on the National Mall Wednesday. How many people actually attended? Did Obama, Clinton, Carter and others manage to bring as large a crowd as Glenn Beck did for Restoring Honor exactly three years earlier on Aug. 28, 2010? It depends on who you’re talking to.
