There has been a lot of debate over whether or not children should return to school because of, you know, ‘the thing.’ From the jump, President Trump has said that America’s children should be back in their classrooms. OF course, if Trump is for it, the left was against it.

Firing is very hard in that occupation....only because teachers are a hard to fill occupation these days. Firing them all would strain the system since few will step up. A problem which has grown over the last several decades.
You are correct if a tenured teacher strikes. Non tenured can be fired. One thing to remember is when you strike you don't get paid.
