Louisville police shot amid Breonna Taylor protests after curfew; suspect in custody

Two police officers were shot in Louisville, Ky., on Wednesday night as protesters flocked to the streets to rally against the death of Breonna Taylor, authorities said.

Shortly after a police news conference, reports emerged on social media that a third police officer may have been injured.

The two police victims confirmed by authorities were being treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, Interim Louisville Metro Police Department Chief Robert Schroeder said in a short news conference around 10 p.m. ET.

"One is alert and stable, the other officer is currently undergoing surgery and stable," Schroeder said, adding that one suspect was in custody.

The police did nothing wrong in the death of Breonna Taylor she was a drug dealer and her boyfriend fired first

What part of the boyfriend shot first don't they understand. Not that it matters to a race who most are void of any and all morals and lies constantly. I really don't care because there is a place in hell already with they names on it AFTER God gets down punishing them on earth.

More police have been shot, killed and more active gun battles then the military in 2020. Let that sink in before you say “ I’m a veteran” to a cop. Chances are you have not been a gun fighter up close and personal like the police. Be safe 1042.

The police broke it up and sent the communists packing fairly quickly last night lol

You can indite a ham sandwich it’s only the states case and must have been nothing. Media and Hollywood did a good job on framing. The cop that got charged probably thought shot were coming from a location and they weren’t but he fired in that direction during the confusion. I believe he will be found not guilty. His case has zero to do with Taylor. My question is WHY DID THEY FIRE the drug cops? Apparently they did nothing wrong. Btw all have moved several occasions with family in the cover of night. Lost everything. She was a DRUG dealer during a epidemic. Police should sue.

Blacks have historically acted stupidly. the post WW 2 period so many because business owners and I don't think per capita there were ever as many black business owners as the post war period. Then the riots of the 60's happened and most of the black businesses closed. In Baltimore for instance the most damage done during the 60's riots were done to black owned businesses and in the black neighborhoods. The black areas to this day have not recovered. The city tried to rebuild but it was futile and by the early 70's almost all the black businesses were gone and crime replaced the once prosperous middle class black areas.
This was not exclusive to Baltimore. The result of the riots of the 60's caused once thriving black communities and black businesses to close for good all over the country.
The next 40 or so years saw black communities fall further into decline and saw the economy of the black neighborhoods become drugs. And of course with drugs comes other crime and murder.
We won't even go into how welfare played a very negative role in black communities.
Before President Trump was elected he promised a focus on what amounts to war zones many blacks have to live in. Sec Carson has worked overtime on things like the Opportunity Zones and other programs to restart once thriving black communities. And now just like the 60's they are screwing this up.
All this "marching" and rioting does nothing positive. The results are always since 50 yrs an increase in black on black slaughter. They sold the lives of their own sons and daughters for what! Why are they so willing to sacrifice their own children is the question. It is not what normal civilized human beings do. Now this post rioting black on black blood bath has a name. It's called the Ferguson effect. At the end of the day nothing good comes from rioting. blm leaves and blacks end up burying their youth catch up in the violence that remains afterward. Blacks need to do some soul searching and what they really need is God. Let's face it most are not real Christian no matter how much they claim otherwise. You can not lead a life full of lies and sin. It is a fact that most blacks won't ever admit because most blacks are not Christians and they can't stop with that lying they do constantly but blm has caused more destruction for blacks and more black deaths then the police or white supremacy ever has and ever will Blacks better wise up. The judgment day isn't far and God will have no mercy on the liars. When God is done punishing them here on earth they will burn in hell There is no place in Heaver for liars who lie about the police That is one thing they can count on in life. God sent blm so He can see whoever so much as utters the words He will punish and they can count on this also

It's pretty much war. And it ain't over by far. Does it even matter that she was innocent? Even if she wasn't there would be hell raised. They screwed up, plain and simple. Now comes the fallout out regardless.

Northwest Woodsman: To those of you who doubted my comments in the past, I hope that you can see for yourselves that appeasing negro demands will only lead to further violence and further demands. I hate to say it but my predictions voiced on this blog are steadily coming true. This situation is not going to improve by submitting to their demands, so you had better be prepared for worse days ahead.

Need to start shooting back. No respect for officers. Dems are the cause and are calling for it to happen. Start piling them up and the rest will go home. Sorry to say but violence begets violence.

Ask any astute political observer - the biggest problem in the Middle east is the tremendous number of young males without a job. What can they do all day?
Cause trouble.
The USA has the same problem in the cities.
Couple that with the fact that they are also the targets of uh, let's call it "stringent", enforcement of the law. Stop and frisk is one example. You or I (white citizens) would NEVER put up with a cop stopping us for no reason and actually SEARCHING (submit or maybe die) us for "something". Seriously??
Two Sets of Laws exist at several levels in our society.
Two Sets of Laws has been the major factor in most revolutions in the history of our planet.
I've said before that no one knows what will be the spark for the next (historically inevitable) revolution in America.
It will just happen and happen quickly. Ya just don't know when....
Buy ammo with every spare dollar you have.

But I am assuming this is the type of thing Kapernick thinks is okay. Shoot 2 police officers that had NOTHING to do with the shooting. THIS IS GETTING DISGUSTING.

Don’t worry...the cops will get free socialistic healthcare to help them on the taxpayer dime...

@8:08 if they were drug dealers why did they give family of taylor 12M for wrongful death! So since I shot first its okay to shoot everyone in the house not just to the person whom returned fire! Her boyfriend hasn't been charged with anything.

Charge him with attempted MURDER

She was associated with the drug dealers. She knew exactly what was going on. Her boyfriend fired the first shot. The money was given because it is in the news and it fits the agenda. Otherwise not a dime would have been handed out. If we are going to tell a story, we should tell it in whole. She wasn't shot in her bed, it wasn't an accident her boyfriend knew the cops were there and why. She wasn't an innocent person. Is it sad she died? Sure. If she kept better company would she still be alive? Sure. You act like people actually follow the rules. This case is being used to further an agenda and it's obvious the facts are being surpresed. I would love to see you do the job of a cop. I would love to see you be trained, have a gun have someone shoot at you and you just stand there and take it. The way you think shows you lack experience and can not put yourself in someone else's shoes.
