Joe Holloway just withdrew his name as a candidate for Wicomico county Executive. The council cannot vote to advance him to a higher position. This according to attorneys Taylor and Wilber.

The council is stupid they can give Fake Jake a big fat raise more than any other mayor that has served but can't advance Joe the best candidate they have, and he has served more years than Jake the Snake. How about forking over all that $ they made on the festivals oh that's right they lied they didn't make any. The council is as crooked as the mayor if you can't hire someone with the knowledge locally then give it to someone not currently holding a position, and a relatively new Marylander and someone that loves Salisbury give it to Wayne King he has the knowledge and would do an excellent job. I say we all take a vote on it ASAP.

Michelle Ennis all the way! She is brilliant! She was given a bad deal and the good ol boy system put her between a rock and a hard place. She knows her stuff and has so very much to offer the county. Not only is she qualified, she is highly capable. Just because someone has qualifications doesn't make them capable of handling things, and she can certainly handle business!

Supervisors and Department heads will not be the ones appointed him so what are you talking about? All Department Heads know that with the change of adminstration they can go so what are you talking about we have no choice. He can fire any of us so you are wrong. Any Executive can bring their team in so how are we going to kiss his ass or anyone since we do not appoint him or her?
So now the Left Nutcases are pushing for Carl Anderton. When Democrats push for an uneducated Republican that speaks volumes. Every Republican should be paying attention to that red flag.
Congratulations to Rene Desmarais as the next county executive.
Kudos to the 4 county council members that did the right thing and voted for Dr. Desmarais. By far the most educated and qualified candidate for the position. This man is not only highly educated but he is a successful businessman. This is exactly what Wicomico County needs to fill the rest of Mr. Culver's term. Dr. Desmarais has the right connections and has run successful cardiology practices in Wicomico County.
