Restaurants say socially distant dining rooms could wipe out business

Owners pare staff, calculate how long they can last as officials restrict seating to contain coronavirus
Restaurants that built their businesses on keeping seats full are trying to figure out how to run at a fraction of that capacity.

Across the U.S., dining rooms are reopening and some customers are returning, industry data shows. But restaurants say they expect months of sales losses ahead due to capacity constraints imposed to contain the new coronavirus. They are also buying plexiglass walls to separate tables, hiring cleaning staff and turning fewer tables to give booths deeper scrub downs between customers, expenses that draw on a shallower pool of revenue.

"This business model is fundamentally altered," said John Cywinski, president of Applebee's, which was on the path to opening new stores for the first time in years before the crisis hit. Across the restaurant industry, he said, "There will be a likely contraction as a result of this."

A contraction is the goal.
The Fed needed to slow the demand for loans.
This will do it.

One thing that most restaurant owners and everyone else seam to not take into consideration - customer's experience.

Those that do show up once may be so turned of by "the new normal" that they choose not to return.

The only chance for business to hang on is to open 100% with NO COVID RULES and do it NOW!

But I don't see that happening.

I went to Boonies yesterday evening , no masks , no social distance , people sitting side by side at the bar drinking . I guess they have a special permit.

I agree 100%

We are witnessing the incredible power of modern mind control in the MSM, Education System, Local Governments, and Federal Government. It is all working in tandem to produce a control over the population that has never been seen. It is an amazing power and the elites are in full control.

So get ready. They are telling us what is planned. A second wave, more deadly, causing even more damage to the society.

Nothing can be done to break the control. None are so enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free.

Brew river and Adams did not follow the guideline at all. Just facebook search people that tagged Adams and you will see tables of nonrelated customers at the same table. For all you that tell me to mind my own business or if i dont like it dont go out go fuck yourselves. My family has followed the guidelines since day one and my mother died from this because one of her care workers felt it was more important to go drinking with her friends then social distancing. Yes her fault but also the fault of two local restaurants that i know she through facebook frequents.

It is a propaganda machine of technological sophistication. Very powerful and difficult to break. They are employing prelude clues within shows about future events: predictive programming our minds.

Powerful even when one is aware of its use. The 5G implementation will only improve their power and allow for diodes to become energized without the use of batteries. Direct thought / emotion control will be (is) possible.

Why even post it? Snitch.

Sorry about you mom. Everyone is going to be exposed.

I call BS. Local restaurants haven’t been open for that type of drinking with friends for a long time. If she had it, she didn’t get it that way.

I agree everyone will be exposed as some point but this didnt need to be her time. My husband is beside himself blaming himself because he knew the caregiver was still not social distancing while on her free time yet he like most of us, even myself thought it would never happen to us.

So 10:16, your mom had care givers. That tells me she had pre-existing conditions but the cause of death is covid 19, right. You're mom's number came up. Yours and mine will too, nobody lives forever. Stay home and live a long boring life if you want, not me, and don't blame me for wanting to live the good life. All restaurants need to open, business as usual. Get back to living life
