MD Department of Labor addresses unemployment issues with 12-page letter

MARYLAND — The Maryland Department of Labor issued a 12-page letter in response to concerns brought up in a joint Senate committee's hearing on unemployment issues earlier this month.

In the letter, the MD Dept. of Labor said they are working around the clock to ensure that all claimants receive the unemployment benefits they are entitled to as quickly as possible.

The Department stated they feel the frustration and desperation from so many Marylanders in need of assistance and are listening and acting upon feedback from customers daily, in order to further improve systems and processes to better handle the unprecedented volume they are faced with.

Maybe someone should of instead of flying to South Korea and buying ventilators for what was it $9 million plus dollars that who knows where the hell they are ( maybe there with the healthy holly books ) could of made a start by giving the money to the people that were told to stay home and are broke and starving but then again we already know that all government employees are still getting paid regardless of what ever in the hell that they do.
Maybe all these so called politicians pay should stop until all the true working class people get paid first.
Bet there wouldn't be a problem with unemployment then now will there.
But again that's ok for their pay wil never stop.

They are doing a horrible job. I know families where both spouses are out of work due to COVID-19. They work for businesses that are still closed. In some cases it’s been 8 or 9 weeks. They have gone through their meager savings and are now in a spiral, going deeper and deeper in debt. There are no excuses for the financial ruin being created by our governor.

So many people have not received their unemployment this whole time. I bet we are still looking athundreds of thousands who have gone without. I know so many. It’s an absolute disgrace and this is on Hogan. He needs to open up physical sites throughout maryland that people can go to for help. Issues are NOT being resolved online.

MD doing this is so pathetic when they give away tax dollars faster to a healthy person who wants something for nothing than taking care of the elderly / retirees.

HOW can they "feel our pain"?? THEY'RE working! Not only are they working, they're getting the financial "pandemic perk" on top of it, so don't let them blow smoke up your ass with how they "feel the pain"....Spare us!

Somebody post which page talks about when my extra $600 a week stops.
I'd do it myself but I've gotten a little lazy over the past few months. Lazy, but I got plenty of money!
