President Trump believes Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will challenge and beat Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in the 2022 New York Senate election.
Fox News anchor Bret Baier tweeted that Trump told reporters at the annual pre-State of the Union lunch that he expects Ocasio-Cortez to run against Schumer and that he believes she will "kick his ass."
"In lunch previewing the SOTU tonight -President @realDonaldTrump says it will be “extraordinarily low key,” tweeted Baier. "He also says about Democrats - @AOC will run against Senator Chuck Schumer and 'I think she will kick his ass'. Both on the record."
