Wild horse kicks swimsuit-clad tourist in the groin

A tourist learned the hard way why it’s important not to ignore local warnings.

Footage of the beach-goer in a skimpy swimsuit showed him trying to pet a wild horse at a beach, only to find out why locals advise against it. As the man touched the animal, it kicked him in one of the most painful places for a man to get hit.

The incident occurred on Assateague Island, located off the coast of Maryland, The Sun reported. It has not been reported if the man was injured in the incident, although the footage showed him falling to the ground in pain.

Marianne Williamson Asked White People to Apologize to Black People for Past ‘Evils’

Prior to announcing her candidacy for the Democrat nomination for president, spiritual author Marianne Williamson asked white people at an event to apologize to the black people in attendance for the “evils” perpetrated against black people throughout United States history.

Williamson, whose “prayer” came during her “Love America Tour” at the Unity of Houston Church in 2018, asked the white people to hold hands with nearby black attendees.

As the audience repeated her every word, sentence by sentence, Williamson said:

As I speak, I am going to ask the white Americans in the room to please repeat after me. On behalf of myself and on behalf of my country, to you and all African Americans, from the beginning of our nation’s history, in honor of your ancestors and on behalf of your children please hear this from my heart. I apologize. Please forgive us. With this prayer I acknowledge the depth of the evils that have been perpetrated against black people in America. From slavery to lynchings to white supremacist laws to the denial of voting rights to all the ways, both large and small, all of the evil, all of them wrong, for all the opression, and all of the injustices, I apologize. Please forgive us.”

Williams: Too Many Black Americans Live in Horrible Conditions

Let’s think about priorities. Say that you live in one of the dangerous high-crime and poor-schooling neighborhoods of cities like Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, or St. Louis.

Which is most important to you: doing something about public safety and raising the quality of education or, as most black politicians do, focusing energies upon President Donald Trump and who among the 20 presidential contenders will lead the Democratic Party?

The average American has no inkling about the horrible conditions in which many blacks live. Moreover, they wouldn’t begin to tolerate living under those conditions themselves.

In Chicago, one person is shot every four hours and murdered every 18 hours. Similar crime statistics can be found in many predominantly black neighborhoods in Baltimore, Detroit, St. Louis, and many other large cities. It’s not just an issue of public safety, for high crime has other devastating consequences.

Crime lowers the value of property. We can see some of this when housing prices skyrocket in formerly high-crime areas when large numbers of middle- and upper-income people purchase formerly run-down properties and fix them up.

Today’s level of lawlessness and insecurity in many black communities is a relatively new phenomenon. In the 1950s, ’40s, ’30s, and earlier times, people didn’t bar their windows.

The uninformed blame today’s chaos on discrimination and poverty.

The city voted Tuesday night to replace gendered terms in its municipal codes, like “manhole” and “manpower,” with gender-neutral ones like “maintenance hole” and “human effort.”

Jeffrey Epstein reportedly found injured in Manhattan jail cell

Billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein was found semi-conscious in a fetal position in his jail cell Wednesday evening, according to sources who spoke to the local NBC affiliate in New York.

Epstein, 66, who was being held in the Metropolitan Correctional Facility in New York City to await trial for alleged conspiracy and sex trafficking, bore marks on his neck, leading two sources to speculate that he may have tried to hang himself. Another source claimed that Epstein's injuries were not serious, and were perhaps a means to secure a transfer.

Investigators are not ruling out assault and have reportedly questioned another inmate named Nicholas Tartaglione, who is accused of killing four men. Tartaglione denies having anything to do with Epstein's injuries, according to NBC.

Kamala Harris: $75 Billion for Black Entrepreneurs, Colleges

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) released a $75 billion plan Friday aimed specifically at helping African-Americans overcome the wealth gap. The plan includes $60 billion to historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and $12 billion to support black entrepreneurs.

The Root notes the details of the plan:

Harris’ latest plan to address the wealth gap calls for pumping $60 billion into HBCUs, like her alma mater Howard, and other “minority-serving institutions” or MSIs, to increase the number of black graduates in STEM [science, technology, engineering, and math] programs.

Under her plan, $10 billion would be allocated to a fund to help HBCUs build out their STEM facilities, while another $50 billion would be provided in a competitive fund to help HBCUs and MSIs do such things as provide students with scholarships, support post-doctoral fellows, build curriculum, and gird cutting-edge research programs.

White House Backs Rule Change That Will End Food Stamps For 3 Million Americans

In another example of the Trump Administration using the bureaucracy to circumvent intransigent House Democrats, the Department of Agriculture is taking steps to cut food stamp benefits for 3 million Americans by limiting a state's ability to automatically enroll residents who also receive welfare benefits.

Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue said the states "have misused this flexibility," Bloomberg reports.

"We are changing the rules, preventing abuse of a critical safety net system, so those who need food assistance the most are the only ones who receive it," Perdue added.
In a potential complication, the Department of Agriculture has proposed this rule change just as the Trump Administration is touting a deal with Congressional Democrats to lift spending caps as part of a compromise to raise the Debt Ceiling.

Apple Seeks Tariff Exemption After Move to China

Apple Inc. has asked the Trump administration to exclude components that make up the forthcoming Mac Pro high-end desktop computer from import tariffs, weeks after planning to re-locate production of the line to China from Texas.

The Cupertino, California-based technology giant is seeking relief from duties of 25% on key Mac Pro parts and accessories that go with it, ranging from the stainless steel and aluminum frame, power supplies, internal cables and circuit boards, and its optional wheels, according to filings posted by the Office of U.S. Trade Representative. The documents don’t specifically mention the Mac Pro, but the features and dimensions listed by Apple in the filing closely resemble the planned computer.

The exclusion requests from the iPhone maker were posted July 18 and are now subject to a public comment period before they’re reviewed. Some Apple products have been spared from tariffs in the past, including the Apple Watch and AirPods.

Paul Craig Roberts: Mueller Should Be Arrested For Conspiracy To Overthrow POTUS

The Mueller report, which had no choice as there was no evidence, but to clear Donald Trump of conspiring with Russian President Putin to steal the last US presidential election from Hillary Clinton, nevertheless managed to keep an aspect of the manufactured hoax known as “Russiagate” alive by indicting some Russian intelligence officers and a Russian Internet clickbait operation for attempting to discredit Hillary with Internet postings.

At the time I noticed that Muller’s indictments were based only on his assertion and not on any evidence. As there was no prospect whatsoever of the fake indictments coming to trial, I did not comment on them. I focused instead on Mueller’s statement that Trump might have obstructed justice although he lacked evidence to support the charge. I noted how corrupt American law has become when it is possible to obstruct justice in the absence of a crime.

Democrats and presstitutes were determined to get Trump by any means and remain uninterested in how justice is obstructed when there is no crime.

Rep. Omar Deserves Her Day In Court

Every American, including Rep. Ilhan Omar is entitled to the presumption of innocence. The evidence uncovered so far appears to support the conclusion that she is guilty of multiple crimes. They include marrying a sibling, immigration fraud, tax fraud, perjury and polygamy.

But then again, we might be wrong.

It is possible that the evidence (though it includes pretty specific documentation) is wrong. Maybe we have taken a number of things out of context. Or perhaps we don’t understand the distinction between a legal and a cultural marriage. That may apply to divorce as well. Normal Americans have difficulty understanding where Sharia Law ends and U.S. laws begin. How does common law fit into this? Which law takes precedent in cases like this? It is confusing indeed. That’s precisely why Rep. Omar should be given an opportunity to clarify things.

She should be given her day in court.
