WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange implied in an interview that a murdered Democratic National Committee staffer was the source of a trove of damaging emails the rogue website posted just days before the party's convention.
Speaking to Dutch television program Nieuswsuur Tuesday after earlier announcing a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Seth Rich's killer, Assange said the July 10 murder of Rich in Northwest Washington was an example of the risk leakers undertake.
"Whistle-blowers go to significant efforts to get us material and often very significant risks," Assange said. "As a 27-year-old, works for the DNC, was shot in the back, murdered just a few weeks ago for unknown reasons as he was walking down the street in Washington."

This story SHOULD be red meat for investigating reporters.
Red meat in a shark pool.
But, it's not. Even hardened reporters are aware of the string of dead people the Clinton's have left in their wake.
If being shot in the back while being "robbed" (the police can't determine exactly WHAT was robbed --- he still had his I-phone, wallet, keys, and watch) isn't enough to warn off future whistleblowers, then, yes sir, they have a few bullets for you, too.
How many people are shot IN THE BACK during a robbery?
How many people get shot in a robbery and don't lose any personal possessions?
Only the Clinton's and their loving supporters look at all the people who have been killed and all the accusations against them over the last THIRTY YEARS and say "It's all LIES! LIES, I tell you!! EVERYONE ELSE is lying, but NOT the Clinton's!!!"
And she runs for President (!!??).
Of course, Jimmy Hoffa said he was innocent (of everything and anything), too, and claimed everyone else was always lying about him.
Criminals often exhibit the same types of behavior.

the law enforcement is looking into reopening this case because there has been constant pressure and Assange has made mention on a radio/TV broadcast of the connection to the DNC and Wikileaks.
