Why does Delaware get $122.64 and Maryland only $50.00

This is for Delaware customers *see below for Maryland*

EXELON RATE CREDIT

On March 23 our merger with Exelon Corporation was completed, making us a member of the Exelon family of companies. As a result, $40 million in residential rate credits will be distributed among our Delaware customers as part of the Customer Investment Fund provided by Exelon.
Who is eligible to receive this credit?

All Delmarva Power Delaware residential customers of record with an active account 30 days after the merger are eligible to receive a rate credit.
How much is the credit?

The total credit amount will vary depending on the type of service you receive.

Rate credit amounts (approximately):
Electric customers: $122.64
Gas customers: $49.95

If you are an electric and gas customer, you will receive both credits listed above.
Where can I view my credit?

You will see this credit listed as an “Exelon Rate Credit” and it will be applied toward your total amount due.

When applied, the Exelon Rate Credit will appear the “Electric Summary” or “Gas Summary” section of customer bills, found on page 2 or page 3.
Can I choose to receive this credit as a rebate or a check?

No, this credit is not available as a rebate or a check.
If I am enrolled in Budget Billing, will I still receive a credit?

Yes, Budget Billing customers are also eligible and will see their budget amount reduced by their eligible rate credit for the billing cycle during which the credit is applied.

It says two $50 credits for Marylanders if I am reading correctly. One for customers within 30 days and another for anyone who is also a customer in 12 months.
