Diemel attends Rosalyn Carter Institute for Caregiving national summit

Liddy Diemel from MAC Inc. met former first lady Rosalyn Carter at the recent Rosalyn Carter Institute for Caregiving’s national summit.

SALISBURY -- Liddy Diemel represented MAC Inc., the Area Agency on Aging, at the recent Rosalyn Carter Institute for Caregiving’s national summit.  Nearly 150 caregivers, representatives from caregiving support agencies and speakers from around the country and world, attended the summit, held at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Ga.

The theme of the program was “Supporting Those Who Support Others.”

Mrs. Carter spoke and greeted each representative at the summit.
Diemel called it an “exceptional experience listening and learning about the variety of evidence-based caregiver support programs working so well due to the RCI.”

At MAC, Diemel works with the Maryland Access Point program and is a case manager.
