BALTIMORE —A child found unresponsive in a car in Baltimore's Belair-Edison neighborhood has died.

Officials were called around 5:30 p.m. to the 3400 block of Juneway, where a 2-year-old girl was found locked in a car.

The child was taken in very serious condition to Johns Hopkins Children's Center, where she later died, WBAL-TV 11 News reporter Kai Reed reported.

Police said the girl was left in the hot car for at least 24 hours

Rather than a moment of silence for this young child, let's have a moment of prayer that she may be in peace with the Good Lord in Heaven. Hail Mary full of grace...

may those responsible get "the chair".

Give this man the FATHER OF THE YEAR AWARD! Moron forgets his own kid on SUNDAY FATHER'S DAY and find the child the next afternoon after he woke up! Put him in a metal box and let him roast for over 24 hours!

the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen

No, may those responsible get put in a locked car out in this heat today with no way to get out. Lord we know this child is in a better place and at peace with you in heaven.

God will comfort the innocent, while the devil will care for the guilty!

What happened to putting the baby to bed??? How do you forget to put the baby to bed in the evening? What little girl doesn't get a bath before bed and a bed time story??? HOW??? I hate to be quick to decide on these things...because every parent is tired and worn out....but this doesn't seem to add up on any level. I hope we hear more so that we can understand what happened.

Sounds a lot like somebody had other things on his mind, or in his bloodstream.

Outrageous on this father's part..what was he thinking when he got out of the car and didn't see her the rest of yesterday??? That child had no chance at life with him as a parent!!!

Amen 10:15. And what about all the people who probably walked by this car and must have seen or heard something before the child succumbed to the heat?

How do you forget a child for 24 hours? Lock this joker up and throw away the key!

Poor little girl had second degree burns from being in that car. No child should have to go through such pain. This man is a monster! If you want to drink make sure you do with when you are NOT in charge of taking care of a child.
