Most Analysts See GOP Winning Senate

Many independent analysts now predict that Republicans will take over the Senate in the midterm elections, but not by a huge margin.

Recent predictions from analysts who study congressional elections put the GOP gain at either six or seven seats. It would take six wins to give the Republicans a 51-seat majority.

(At 50 seats, Vice President Joe Biden would cast a deciding vote for the Democrats.)

Here's a look at the predictions, from lowest to highest:

The Washington Post's Election Lab gives Republicans a 52 percent chance of taking over the Senate, which would require a gain of six seats.

Huffington Post gives Republicans a 52 percent chance of taking control of the Senate.

If the machines haven't been tampered with and "fixed" and if dems and low info voters aren't allowed to vote 2 or more times.

It will be really nice. But too much hype, will get more Dems out to vote. Or a rig of the election process.

How could this possibly be true? Is there that many Obamaheads out there that can't see the destruction that's happening?

Wow.

They want to lull the republicans into a sense of security so a lot of working voters won't get out and vote and leave the voting to the sponges of society.

God that would be awesome, especially if they got rid of Harry Weed and kept control of the House. Then work on Impeachment. Andy Harris said he wouldn't vote to Impeach him, but maybe we can do it with out the Softy.

Andy is all for impeachment; he just said bringing it up now would just let it get cut down in the Senate, never to be brought up again. Timing is everything here. It will be voted for the dy after the mid terms as long as the R's get a majority in the Senate.

We still need to remember to get out and vote...to ensure this will in fact happen.

Great idea impeach Obama and then, in 2016, President Hillary will have a democratic house and senate.

Lets hope so, and then impeach the imposter!
