Burglar Arrested At Police Doughnut Eating Contest

Bradley Hardison’s sweet tooth proved his downfall when the 24-year-old North Carolina man was arrested for burglary at a police-sponsored doughnut eating contest.

Police had set up the competition at Elizabeth City as part of an anti-crime drive.

American folklore says that few can keep up with American police officers when it comes to the love of a good doughnut.

But they and the firemen at the event were no match for Hardison who wolfed down eight doughnuts in only two minutes, who was duly declared the winner of the contest.
