Former State Senator Walter Baker Has Died

Former Maryland State Senator Walter Baker died this week at the age of 85.

Baker was the chairman of the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee while serving in Annapolis.

The democratic lawmaker represented five counties on the Eastern Shore from 1979 to 2002.

WBAL's talk show host C4 served on Baker's committee and remembers him as a man who didn't let "bad" bills out of his committee chairman's desk.

"He taught me this one phrase 'One case makes bad law' that was Walter Baker," says C4.
