Keep the death penalty alive in Maryland , this guy should be in the fast lane at the check out counter.

What a loser! He does not deserve to breath another breath. He and the crazy shooter in Tucson need to be
done away with immediately. But no...they get a better life in prison with three square a day and all their medical paid for the rest of their lives..

If the democrats get their way they will completely remove the death penalty in Maryland as early as this February.

And, according to the Daily Times story about the shooting, Miles' bond has been set at $10,000!

According to the Maryland Case Law site he was arrested 1/10/11 for weapon and other charges with a $10,000. On 1/11/11 he was arrested again for murder, etc. No bond has been set.

Am I the only one who believes that a worse punishment than death is to stick this guy in with Bubba and Co. for the rest of his life where he will likely be "passed around" quite a few times before being killed in a fashion similar to his poor granny?

No, 11:45, you are NOT the only one who believes in a punishment worse than death!!

wow Joe. I went to school with this kid from elementary-high school. Never was close but we knew each other. Crazy.

No 11:45 but would you want to pay for this turd to stay alive and get three squares, heat, AC, Cable TV, No Job, etc. etc. probably better living than when he was on the street. I sure wouldn't I would rather see him shocked until his eyes pop to tell you the truth and then forget all about him. Let lucifer have hsi way with him in the after life.

How much more pitiful can a person be than strangling his 87-year-old grandmom for some credit and debit cards! May he never see the light of day.

look at his record. One Domestic Violence charge after another, 1st degree assaults, thefts, etc. But he was allowd back on the street, and so goes our illustrios juducual system again. When will judges start being held accountable? I mean if they get the max sentence for assault or whatever, do their time and then get out and committ another crime, that isn't the judges fault. But if they are two three four time offenders and get light sentences and have proven to be a failure time and time again then these judges need to be hel accountable. Wishful thinking huh?

This is a family member, and although this was horrible thing, a person still has the right to be treated fairly. It's too much hate in this world today and nobody cares about anyone! This mentality needs to stop. God loves us all, this young man lose his mother to cancer at an early age and basically has had a tough life. We have tried to get help for him and now wishing he was dead or writing horrific comments does not express how the family feels about him. Just remember that although your life may not have pain as we are suffering, if you live long enough in this world your life events will take a turn that will be most unexpected when your family is hit with something like this. We pray that you will allow us to grieve respectfully and not make our pain greater by reading negative comments. How about you say a prayer for us instead! Bless you all and my your family never have to endure such pain.

3:53, get real. The real victim was the grandmother who I'm sure took this animal in trying to give him another chance. Plenty of us loss mothers, fathers, brothers etc. We dealt with it. We may have found strength from it. Some of us may have acted out as "rebels" when young. But none of us strangled their grandmother, so cut the crap. You should be grieving the loss of a family matriarch. Not looking at this animal with sympathy. He's an obvious danger to society and shoot be put down like a rabid dog.

Only God may judge this young man; it's up to us to arrange the meeting.
