Should we be worried? Yep! We just showed every angry child and adult in America how to build a bomb.

I like the part that asks "how safe is it to fly?" actually, it is very safe to fly. Terrorism, while very scary, is something that is very rare.

here is a great graphic that shows a comparison (Oct 1999 through Sept 2009) of the 99,320,309 commercial flights (flying total of 69,415,786,000 miles) vs. the number of terrorist attacks and which ones were successful. More people die from other violent deaths, alcoholism, malnourishment, lung cancer, and other methods of death.

Here is also a great article by one of the top security experts in the world:

should you be concerned about terrorism? Yes, absolutely. Should you buy into the "we must do something, anything." response by the govt. just to give us a warm fuzzy feeling and cost us billions a year? That would be a big NO!

So many people don't trust the government for their healthcare. why are they trusting them on these types of scare tactics just to boost government budgets at the expense of our rights? Reacting to specific tactics is a failing way to fight these types of terrorism attacks since if one thing is locked down, the terrorist will try another way. Keeping terrorists off the plane to begin with (or stadium, shopping mall, or any other place that can be targeted) is the best way to stop this.

12;21 I am sure that if you or a family member are on one of the planes that get blown up, the statistics will make you feel a lot better

Joe while I love what you do as far as keeping our community up to date, I also believe their is a fine line between keeping the community informed, and keeping them safe.
I do not agree with a step by step lesson on how to get the job done.
It's not likely that someone would be able to obtain these dangerous materials but *what if*. In this day and age im tired of saying *what if* it has proven to fail us more times then not as of lately.

Still a fan. Just another opinion to think about which is what I believe has made this blog so popular.
