Candace Owens fires back at Cardi B as spat escalates: ‘Stop reading your DNC script’

Candace Owens and Cardi B are locked in a nasty spat — with the rapper accusing the conservative pundit of having an “identity crisis” because she’s married to a white man.

The Bronx-raised”WAP” rapper slammed Owens on Instagram Monday, claiming the commentator’s English husband, George Farmer, is part of the “upper-class KKK in the United Kingdom,” Fox News reported.

“She has an identity crisis. Just because she’s black, doesn’t mean she give a f— about blacks,” Cardi B says in the Instagram story.

Owens shot back that Cardi, who did not show her face in the post, must be hiding because “she is reading a script.”

"You’re going to tell me she’s just not going to show her face in all these videos? She shows her face no matter what, no matter what she looks like,” Owens said. “So Cardi B, stop hiding. Stop reading your DNC script. You look ridiculous.”

Security Trouble Grows in Academia as School Begins

Schools and colleges are relying on technology more than ever to deliver learning during the pandemic. Criminals are ready to exploit vulnerabilities with ransomware and other tactics. Help is needed, say experts.

The coronavirus has been a huge setback for just about everyone. Except cybercriminals. The FBI reported a fourfold increase in daily online crime complaints in the months following the start of the pandemic compared to before it, reports Government Technology contributor Daniel Castro. It's easy to see why this is happening.

“Many individuals are working from home for the first time, so the traditional approach of keeping untrusted devices off organizations’ networks is ill-suited for the new wave of threats from unpatched home computers running on unsecure home networks," he writes. "In addition, with staff no longer working in proximity to one another, employees are more susceptible to phishing attacks because they are less likely to confirm a suspicious email with a colleague or have access to in-person IT support." Finally, with more activities moving online, IT has become mission-critical, which means organizations are more willing to pay ransomware attackers so that their systems remain operational.

While any individual, government or business is a potential victim, school systems are particularly vulnerable, according to Castro, who spells out why. First, schools have been a ripe target for criminals. The education sector accounted for 60 percent of all reported enterprise malware in June. Second, schools continue to rely on old technology, such as Microsoft Windows 7, which is no longer supported by the firm, meaning users no longer receive vital security patches, leaving them exposed to possible attacks. Third, schools must support many inexperienced users. Both educators and students are often unfamiliar with many of the online tools they are now using for distance learning. That leaves them more susceptible to possible malware attacks.'

Taco Bell ‘Karen’ goes ballistic on employees over burrito order

A “Karen’’ went ballistic over her burrito order at a Taco Bell in Missouri, calling workers the n-word — and threatening them while claiming to be “Charles Manson’s daughter,’’ according to reports.

The woman was caught on cellphone video claiming she’d been overcharged for her “three burritos and two tacos’’ — and launching into a violent, profanity-filled, now-viral tirade as the fast-food joint’s employees tried to calmly explain her bill was correct, shows video posted to Reddit.

“I’m gonna f- -k you up, n—-r,’’ she told one worker, who is apparently not black.

“Not good enough for a real job?” the white woman sneered, while a young boy, who was not with her, is seen at one point nervously sitting at a table in the foreground.

The out-of-control customer then grabs things off the counter and chucks them on the floor and at the workers before stalking off, threatening, “You’re going down, son of a bitch, personally. You f–ked with the wrong motherf—-r.

Georgia authorities reveal 1,000 people double-voted in primary

As many as 1,000 Georgians double-voted in the Peach State’s June 9 primary using absentee ballots, a felony that is punishable by up to a decade in prison, state authorities announced Tuesday.

The revelation comes as President Trump warns of widespread voter fraud ahead of the November election, which he believes could happen through the mass harvesting of mail-in ballots amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said 1,000 voters returned absentee ballots before turning up at the polling booth to vote on election day, according to a report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Approximately 150,000 people who requested absentee ballots still showed up at polling booths, either because they never received a paper ballot or changed their mind about voting in person, the report said.

Assistant principal who yelled ‘F–k the police!’ at Rochester protests put on leave

The assistant principal of an upstate high school who yelled “F–k the police!” in a live video during the Rochester protests has been placed on leave after an “outpouring” of complaints, district officials said.

Steven Lysenko, a ninth-grade teacher and assistant principal at Spencerport High School in suburban Rochester, sparked outrage with his wild tirade against cops and the “s—ty-assed job they were doing” in a since-deleted Facebook Live video.

“They can f–k right off, America! F–k the police! F–k Rochester Police Department!” he shouted, before ending with a polite “Thank you.”

Spencerport Central School District initially said Saturday that the scandal would be “addressed as a confidential, personnel matter.”

The district updated its action Tuesday, however, admitting it followed an “outpouring of emails, posts and comments regarding this matter.”

“Mr. Steven Lysenko is a tenured administrator with due process rights. He has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation,” officials said in a statement.

Thousands of Students Won’t Be Attending Online Classes

Despite efforts across Maryland, thousands of students without Internet or computers will not be attending their school classes until campuses reopen. “If kids aren’t in class, nothing else about the education system matters.”

(TNS) — On the first day of a new school year in the midst of a pandemic, tens of thousands of students will likely be left behind, unable to show up Tuesday to greet their classmates and teachers on a computer screen.

Despite efforts by Baltimore-area school systems, students who lack internet access or a laptop won’t be signing on to the live online classes, their only opportunity for instruction until schools reopen. And they aren’t likely to get connected quickly.

The Maryland Department of Education has no reliable data on how many of its approximately 900,000 public school students lack access to a reliable internet connection or computers. Neither do many school system officials who say they’ve spent the summer attempting to reach disconnected households.

Video shows man dumping piles of mail in California parking lot

A man was caught on surveillance camera dumping piles of US mail in a California parking lot, according to news reports.

The footage shows an unidentified man pulling bag after bag of mail out of the back of a Budget rental truck under the cover of night and leaving it in a pile at the edge of the lot, CNN said in a report Tuesday.

“It was completely unusual,” Lilia Serobian, who owns 7Q Spa Laser & Aesthetics, which owns the lot, told the network. “It’s suspicious. You start thinking, ‘OK, something is going on,’ because no one has access to all those boxes and packages.”

The video of the Sept. 3 mail dump, which was also aired by KTLA-TV, is one of two piles of dumped mail found in the California city that day.

High school student suspended for going to class on a remote-learning day

A Long Island high school senior is reportedly facing a five-day suspension after he ignored protocol by showing up to class Tuesday when he was scheduled to learn remotely.

“I was going to school like students should be going to school,” Maverick Stow, 17-year-old student at William Floyd High School, explained to WABC of why he attended in-person classes on the first day of school.

“I think that a five-day suspension is out of line,” Stow, who has the support of his parents, told the outlet.

Stow said trouble first arose when his first-period teacher noticed he wasn’t on Tuesday’s in-person roster.

The teacher sent Stow to the principal’s office and he was asked to report home.

“‘Well, no, I think I need to go to class. This is during class time,’” Stow said he responded to administrators.

Instead of following their orders, Stow said, he finished the day learning in class before being notified of the disciplinary action.

Mulan Boycott Explained: Why Some People are Skipping the Disney Plus Remake

Calls to boycott Disney’s live-action remake of Mulan—which premiered on Disney+ for $30 on Friday—are growing louder.

The social media campaign, marked by the hashtag #BoycottMulan, is led by Hong Kong activists who are protesting a controversial, pro-police comment that Mulan star Yifei Liu made last summer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The discussion (to put it politely) about Mulan first began at height of the protests in Hong Kong in 2019, which found pro-democracy activists protesting a bill that would allow criminal suspects in Hong Kong to be extradited to mainland China. Clashes between protestors and Hong Kong police became violent, according to a report from the BBC, leading to more protests against police brutality.

‘Reckless’ FEMA funding reversal will cost New Yorkers millions, MTA says

New York’s cash-strapped MTA could be down another $500 million thanks to FEMA’s “baffling” and “reckless” decision to cut COVID-19 funding for mass transit, transit chief Pat Foye fumed Tuesday.

“The MTA’s overall COVID-related expense estimate is approximately $500 million for 2020 alone, with similarly substantial totals projected for the next four years,” Foye wrote in a letter to Federal Emergency Management Agency leader Pete Gaynor.

“[These expenses] are inextricably linked to the pandemic and efforts to minimize public health risk during this critical time, and would not be necessary otherwise,” he said.

“Denying that public health reality smacks of not only ignorance but incompetence.”

More than 130 MTA employees have died from COVID-19. Officials have in turn distributed millions of masks to both employees and riders, and disinfected trains and buses daily.

But the rule change set for Sept. 15 prohibits COVID-19 funding for the virus-safe operation of mass transit, schools and other public facilities because they “are not immediate actions necessary to protect public health and safety.”

Of course Hillary’s handlers and the Democrat party denied anything was wrong with Hillary’s health, even after video showed Hillary coughing on multiple occasions. Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding announced the switch last week outside of a business in Evansville while in the presence of Indiana Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, a Republican.

The Evansville Courier & Press reported Wedding was elected sheriff as a Democrat in 2014 and again in 2018.

The camera cut to Biden, who was looking to the side and told his staff, “Move it up here.”

Report: Farmville ICE Detention Center should release inmates

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) — An outside expert who inspected an immigration detention center in Virginia that experienced a massive coronavirus outbreak is recommending that some high-risk inmates be released after finding flaws in the center’s screening procedures.

U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema ordered the inspection last month after several detainees filed a lawsuit with the help of legal activist groups. Brinkema faulted the detention complex in Farmville for an outbreak that affected more than 90% of the center’s nearly 300 detainees, including a 72-year-old detainee who died. Government officials fought unsuccessfully to block the inspection.

The expert, Homer Venters, inspected the site last month and filed a report made public Friday that says the center does a poor job of screening inmates for COVID-19 symptoms. He recommended that detainees at high risk for the disease be released. Venters also reported that the inmates refuse to wear mask, saying that most of the detainees are already infected so they don't see the point!

Seattle Cites COVID Policy for Preventing Prayer Meeting, Still Allows Massive Protests

At this point, it appears Seattle’s leftist leadership is no longer trying to hide its disdain for Christians.

A prayer rally at the city’s famed Gas Works Park was planned for Labor Day, but before it could be held, a sudden notice from the city declared the park would be closed.

A Sept. 4 notice posted by the city announced a “temporary closure” of the park, citing “anticipated crowding that could impact the public health of residents.”

“Out of concerns for the safety of all those who visit Gas Works Park we have opted to close the entire park for the day,” Seattle Parks and Recreation noted.

The same city that has allowed leftists to protest and riot for months announced it suddenly “does not allow unpermitted public events to take place in Seattle parks.”
