Joe Biden Repeats Charlottesville ‘Fine People Hoax’; Falsely Claims Trump Did Not Condemn Murder of Heather Heyer

Former Vice President Joe Biden repeated the false claim that President Donald Trump called neo-Nazis “very fine people” in Charlottesville, Virginia, adding the false claim that the president did not condemn the murder of a protester.

President Trump condemned neo-Nazis who marched in Charlottesville in August 2017 — “totally,” and repeatedly:
Aug. 12, 2017: Trump condemned “violence “on many sides” in Charlottesville, after neo-Nazi and Antifa clashes
Aug. 14, 2017: Trump condemned “neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups” in White House statement
Aug. 15, 2017: Trump condemned neo-Nazis “totally,” praised non-violent protesters “on both sides” of statue debate

Trump also specifically condemned the murder of left-wing protester Heather Heyer, who was killed when a neo-Nazi rammed his car into demonstrators. The president said: “You can call it terrorism, you can call it murder. … The driver of the car is a murderer, and what he did was a horrible, horrible, inexcusable thing.” Biden’s claim is entirely false.

Baltimore Mayoral Race: Ex-Mayor Convicted of Embezzlement Could Replace Former Mayor Booted for Fraud

Well, it's a deep blue city, so I guess this shouldn't shock us too much, but Baltimore's mayoral race could experience the Marion Barry effect, the return of a mayor who was previously convicted of a crime. It's not drug possession, however, which got the late Mr. Barry, mayor of DC at the time, into legal trouble in the 1990s for which he actually served some jail time. After his release, he ran again for mayor and won. And people wonder why Democratic cities are poorly run? Baltimore could be having its own much softer version of that, albeit with politicians who are crooks, but not drug users. Still, the narrative remains about how Democratic cities are administered. The fish rots from the head.

The city's former mayor, Catherine Pugh, resigned in a corruption scandal relating toa business arrangement between her series of children's books at the University of Maryland Medical System. She got a three-year jail sentence for this fiasco and is expected to plead guilty to perjury in the coming days.

So, who can right the ship in B'More after this scandal? Well, it could be an ex-mayor who was formerly convicted of embezzlement. No, I'm not kidding. The mayor who was booted for fraud and tax evasion could be replaced by a woman who was convicted of embezzlement (via Fox News):

‘Total Blackout on the Insanity in Seattle’ as Establishment Media Turn Focus from the ‘Autonomous Zone’

Several establishment media outlets, including ABC News, NBC News, and CBS News have largely failed to draw attention to the chaos in Seattle as demonstrators set up barriers, establishing their own police-free Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ).

“Media bias is not just in the stories that get covered, but the ones that don’t,” Tom Bevan, co-founder and president of RealClearPolitics, observed.

“Total blackout on the insanity in Seattle on major news websites: ABC News, NBC News, CBS News,” he added, providing screenshots demonstrating the point:

Chicken Community Asks Congress to Aid Growers

Chicken Community Asks Congress to Help Growers with Direct Aid

As the supply chain that moves America’s most-purchased protein, chicken, continues to be hampered by the COVID-19 outbreak, Delmarva Poultry Industry, Inc. is urging Congress to provide family farmers raising chicken with direct financial assistance that earlier agricultural relief bills have left them shut out of.

“Challenges faced by chicken processing facilities impact the entire supply chain, including the family farmers in our states who raise chickens. This is beginning to have serious effects on bird placements to family farms,” said a letter to Congress jointly signed by DPI and 11 other state poultry associations.

U.S. Department of Agriculture reports showed a 6 percent decline in broiler-type chicks hatched between April 2019 and April 2020, and a matching 6 percent decline in eggs placed in hatchery incubators. That decline will lead to fewer chickens and fewer flocks for the nation’s chicken growers, including the family farmers who are crucial to Delmarva’s $3.5 billion chicken economy.

“These farmers are faced with overhead costs and any downtime will bring great financial pressure upon them,” the letter continued. “As these farmers cope with raising fewer chickens among changing and uncertain demand, we believe it is essential that they be provided with direct financial assistance, just as other farmers and livestock producers have been supported during the pandemic.”

The $16 billion in aid to farmers under the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program, or CFAP, has not provided any benefit to chicken growers, since only livestock farmers raising cattle, lambs, yearlings and hogs are eligible. CFAP also provides aid to farmers producing field crops, milk, and specialty crops – but not chicken.

The letter also thanked Sens. Chris Coons and Roger Wicker, leaders of the Senate Chicken Caucus, for their leadership in assisting farmers.

Walter Williams Exposes The True Plight Of Black Americans

While it might not be popular to say in the wake of the recent social disorder, the true plight of black people has little or nothing to do with the police or what has been called "systemic racism." Instead, we need to look at the responsibilities of those running our big cities.

Some of the most dangerous big cities are: St. Louis, Detroit, Baltimore, Oakland, Chicago, Memphis, Atlanta, Birmingham, Newark, Buffalo and Philadelphia. The most common characteristic of these cities is that for decades, all of them have been run by liberal Democrats. Some cities -- such as Detroit, Buffalo, Newark and Philadelphia -- haven't elected a Republican mayor for more than a half-century. On top of this, in many of these cities, blacks are mayors, often they dominate city councils, and they are chiefs of police and superintendents of schools.

In 1965, there were no blacks in the U.S. Senate, nor were there any black governors. And only six members of the House of Representatives were black. As of 2019, there is far greater representation in some areas -- 52 House members are black. Nine black Americans have served in the Senate, including Edward W. Brooke of Massachusetts, Carol Moseley Braun and Barack Obama of Illinois, Tim Scott of South Carolina, Cory Booker of New Jersey, and Kamala Harris of California. In recent times, there have been three black state governors.

The bottom line is that today's black Americans have significant political power at all levels of government. Yet, what has that meant for a large segment of the black population?

‘You won’t need to abolish us – we won’t be around for it’: Why I and many of my colleagues are quitting as US police officers

Travis Yates is a serving police commander in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a doctoral student in Strategic Leadership, a graduate of the FBI National Academy, and the author of "The Courageous Police Leader: A Survival Guide for Combating Cowards, Chaos & Lies”. This article was first published on lawofficer.com

The nasty words we, the police, get called all the time have now turned into rocks, bottles and gunfire. It’s over, America: we are leaving.

This is the hardest thing I have written.

I grew up in a law enforcement family. My father worked his way up to the rank of Captain at the Fort Smith, Arkansas, Police Department. As a kid I remember going with him on Friday to pick up his check and I was in awe of these super heroes he worked around.

My dad sacrificed a lot and so did my late mother. Whether it was the week-long surveillance or wiretap or chasing drug runners across the country, he gave it all for my family and worked plenty of extra details to never let our family be without. Some would call that privilege but where I grew up, it was called hard work.

President Trump issued a demand for Democratic controlled Seattle to be brought back under order immediately, as Antifa anarchists claimed control of a six-block zone and a police station.

“Take back your city NOW. If you don’t do it, I will. This is not a game. These ugly Anarchists must be stooped [sic] IMMEDIATELY. MOVE FAST!’” he continued.

BREAKING NEWS: RT. 90 CLOSED

Rt. 90 from OC to Ocean Pines is closed in both directions due to a crash at this time.

WE NEED YOUR INPUT!!!

As of yesterday the state health department said our kids can’t play baseball. Our County Health Dept said our kids can play baseball. Fruitland city Council however has decided our kids cannot play baseball on Fruitland fields. There is a tournament that can be played but Fruitland city council has decided they have more power than the governor state health department and local health department.

If you all would please feel free to call Fruitland city Council at Fruitland City Hall and demand they open the ballfields this weekend to play baseball soccer lacrosse or any tournament that is scheduled.

I personally don’t want any government entity to control how I do what I do and when I do it. With respect to their job I applaud them but in this situation it’s totally disrespectful to not only our kids but our USA.

The trio broke down on Twitter just why — in the wake of George Floyd’s death in police custody and the Black Lives Matter movement that has intensified in its wake — it is changing its name.

SHOULD MARYLAND’S SCHEDULED MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE BE DELAYED?

Advocates of low-wage workers are fighting back against calls by business groups to freeze Maryland’s scheduled minimum wage increase for at least two years.

Maryland’s minimum wage is currently at $11 an hour. Last year the General Assembly passed legislation which set in motion a 75 cent annual increase in the minimum wage until a $15 an hour ceiling is reached. The ceiling will come in Jan. 2025 for most businesses but for those with 14 employees or less it will come in July 2026. The legislation gives the Board of Public Works the power to temporarily suspend scheduled increases for up to one year under certain circumstances. It is unclear how a two-year suspension would work without changing the law.

“We believe that the minimum wage law that passed last year to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour for most workers by 2025 is an important step in the right direction for those workers,” Christopher Meyer, a research analyst at the nonprofit, nonpartisan Maryland Center on Economic Policy (MDCEP), said in a teleconference that was held on the video meeting site Zoom on Thursday.

Violent Stretch In Ocean City Includes Two Stabbings

OCEAN CITY – The resort is coming to grips with a spate of violent incidents that began with a stabbing on the Boardwalk early last Sunday morning and peaked with a severe beating of a man during a larger incident early Wednesday morning.

It’s not unusual to have serious incidents, assaults and other unruly behavior in early to mid-June in Ocean City when recent graduates and other young people come in large numbers. Thus far this month, however, the incidents have been decidedly more frequent and more violent than last year, for example.

In a span of four days starting with a stabbing on the Boardwalk on Sunday, continuing with another stabbing on Tuesday and culminating with a major altercation that included the severe beating of a young man on Wednesday, the Boardwalk area was essentially a battle zone in the late night and early morning hours. The Wednesday incident was captured in a video that went viral on social media, resulting in an emergency, closed session meeting of the police commission to re-evaluate enforcement efforts.

Activist Crushed By Falling Confederate Statue After Frenzied Mob Toppled It

Both across the United States and Britain, Antifa and other far left groups are taking it upon themselves to deface and topple statues and memorials they don't like, seeking to "purge" the culture of anything they deem "offensive" — such as lately a spate of attacks on Christopher Columbus statues.

When on late Tuesday Columbus statues were destroyed in Richmond and Boston, we wondered if police are now resigned to just sit back and let the groups of mostly young white people trash the county's monuments, as it appeared to be the case in Richmond, where a crowd set fire to a Columbus monument, and dragged it some 200 yards before chunking it into a lake — all within plain sight of police and the media.

But if nothing else will get police to intervene to stop what in normal times would be a felony offense, perhaps the danger of serious injury to persons will, as during the latest overnight monument toppling a man was critically injured when a some 600-pound Confederate statue came crashing down on top of him.

A ‘Black Lives’ pander by Democrats: Devine

Joe Biden’s video address to George Floyd’s funeral was impressive — but only if you just landed from Mars.

With maudlin soundtrack and husky voice, the former vice president oozed empathy as he churned out empty platitudes about “racial justice” that are at odds with his personal history and the record of the Democratic Party he has represented for 47 years.

“I grew up with Catholic social doctrine which taught me that faith without works is dead,” he said, “and you will know us by what we do.”

OK, I accept the challenge.

Trump says no defunding, dismantling or disbanding of police

Minneapolis City Council members pledged to disband the city's police force.

President Donald Trump on Monday sent a clear message during a White House roundtable with members of law enforcement: The police are doing a "fantastic" job.

"There won't be defunding, there won't be dismantling of our police and there is not going to be any disbanding of our police," he said at the afternoon event.

"We want to make sure we don't have any bad actors in there, and sometimes, you'll see some horrible things like we witnessed recently, but 99 -- I say 99.9, but let's go with 99% of them are great, great people, and they've done jobs that are record setting -- record setting," Trump said.

OC Boardwalk Curfew Not A Difficult Call

It’s time to put a curfew on the Boardwalk at midnight for a four-week period from late-May through mid-June. There is no reason not to impose the change to end the nonsense that has been occurring for years in Ocean City.

The assemblage of large groups of young people from other areas has brought a familiar set of serious crime incidents. Two stabbings and multiple fights have taken place within the past week. Though it brings outrage on social media and is a public relations disaster, the fact is these incidents have been occurring for many years in Ocean City. It’s nothing new, but it doesn’t have to be accepted either.

Emergency curfews are typically enacted for three reasons – natural disasters, public health crisis or ongoing civil disturbance. The latter will surely fit the bill for Ocean City’s Boardwalk.

There will be some practical enforcement issues with a curfew, but Ocean City can use historical data and the City Watch surveillance system to track hot spot areas. Logistical issues can be ironed out over time, but Ocean City does not need to simply tolerate these incidents any longer.

BACKFIRE: ‘Gone With The Wind’ Sales Explode After Leftists Target Movie. Sales Of Other Classics Also Skyrocketing.

The recent decision to pull the American classic “Gone with the Wind” from HBO Max has had the Streisand effect, a phenomenon where attempting to suppress something ends up calling more attention to it and thus having the opposite effect of the intended desire.

“HBO Max parent AT&T Inc.’s move came amid growing concerns about racial injustice following the killing of George Floyd, a black man, while being arrested by a white Minneapolis police officer,” The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday. “Considered a classic of American cinema and winner of eight competitive Academy Awards, including best picture, the 1939 film starring Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh and Hattie McDaniel tells the story of southern belle Scarlett O’Hara and her love affair with Rhett Butler. Much of the four-hour film is set on the O’Hara plantation, Tara, and in Atlanta during and after the Civil War.”

The three-page letter, which is dated June 10, notes that county officials have allowed many political protests in recent weeks but have not okayed indoor church services.

"In identifying the conditions under which gatherings for protest may proceed in Montgomery County, the Council should ensure that it imposes no more onerous conditions on gatherings for religious exercise than it does on gatherings for other purposes," wrote Eric Dreiband, Assistant Attorney General within the DOJ's Civil Rights Division.

Wicomico Sheriff Mike Lewis Shares His Thoughts On Recent Events

As your Sheriff, I want to share my feelings about racism and discrimination in our world in one word, INEXCUSABLE. There is no place for this type of behavior in law enforcement and certainly, this includes the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office. We will not tolerate these actions in our community. We stand on our Core Values of serving our community with Courage, Honor, and Integrity. Our values clearly state and reflect that our deputies WILL treat every person with respect and dignity, and in an unbiased manner, protect the constitutional rights of all persons through the impartial enforcement of the law. Anything less than that will not be tolerated. You deserve that continued promise from me and everyone within my Office. I have enforced this premise since December 6, 2006, my first day in office.

In the past two weeks, Wicomico County has been the site of peaceful assemblies and rallies. I want to thank members of our community for expressing their thoughts and emotions in a positive and productive way while not losing sight of the tragic death of George Floyd. Citizens should never be without a voice, and the men and women of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office and I will always be ready to defend your constitutional rights, without fear of violence. I continue to be proud of our community, the passion and commitment you have all shown to each other and members of this Agency.

Like any person with a heart who watched the video released of the death of George Floyd, I was shocked, angered, frustrated, and deeply concerned by what I saw. Watching a person lose their life is heartbreaking and emotional. As an elected Sheriff who believes in law and order, I believe people who commit violent crimes should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and face stiff penalties. That statement extends to law enforcement officers who commit illegal acts and act outside of their authority. As I have written to many individuals who have inquired since Mr. Floyd’s death, I have trust in the criminal justice system to ensure a thorough review of all the facts and evidence in the case. At this point in the ongoing investigation, the officers in the video have been formally charged and evidence is being collected and analyzed, and statements are being obtained and evaluated in pursuit of justice. The Attorney General for the State of Minnesota who is prosecuting the case has stated this process could take months as these cases normally do.

At the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, we continue to reevaluate police tactics and techniques while ensuring that nationally recognized best practices are integrated into our 21st Century Policing. The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office was one of the first agencies in this entire region to arm patrol deputies with both in-car cameras and Body-Worn Cameras to ensure the highest levels of transparency. You deserve nothing less.

We strive to harness the power of every individual through education, training, and volunteerism to make Wicomico County safer, stronger, and most recently, better prepared to respond to civil disturbances of any kind. Building a resilient community involves multiple sectors and meaningful engagement from every corner of our society.

At a time when many are feeling contrary, I am optimistic about the future of law enforcement and community relations. The level of training, communication, cooperation, and professionalism in our County’s law enforcement arena has never been higher or more inclusive. It is up to all of us to leave this world a better place than it is today, and I believe the conversations and non-violent actions occurring as a result of Mr. Floyd’s tragic death will drive that conversation.

Lara Logan: Retired Generals Waging Information Warfare Campaign Against Trump

Award-winning journalist and war correspondent Lara Logan discussed how retired generals who are speaking out against President Trump are either “complicit” with or waging an information warfare campaign against him, in an interview with Sirius XM’s Breitbart News Daily on Wednesday.

Logan reminded listeners of the Russian collusion narrative, and how many officials from the Justice Department, Director of National Intelligence, Central Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, and other agencies worked together to push the idea that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election.

“Think about how many people it took who had to be complicit to push that narrative. Think about the secretaries of defense and the national security advisers that served at that time, who all had access to the intelligence. They all knew it wasn’t true,” Logan told show host Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow.

“General [Jim] Mattis, he knew. General [H.R.] McMaster, he knew. General [John] Kelly, he knew. One after another, after another. You can name them, and strangely enough, it’s the same people standing up now taking shots at the president. The same people, so they were silent then, but they sure as hell have got a lot to say now, don’t they?” she added.

Criticism of Lightfoot was amplified on June 5, after a recording of a May 31 conference call to discuss violent and destructive riots in the city was released by WTTW-TV.
