Joe,
I live just off of Mt. Hermon road and Civic.
I went up and turned left on Mt. Hermon Parade Route and got as angry like you just don’t know after the parade.
Trash along Mt. Hermon including plastic bottles, soda cans and just trash in general.
What the HELL is wrong with people today that they just throw their trash anywhere and some one else has to clean it up.
Set an example for their children??
No Pride??
Sorry!! I am PO’D!
Has our society collapsed to this level???

Sheriff promises to 'deputize thousands' if his state passes gun control
A Virginia sheriff has vowed to deputize thousands in his county should the state government pass stringent gun control measures.
The Culpepper County Board of Supervisors unanimously agreed to proclaim the county a Second Amendment Constitutional County last week, according to Fox News. At the meeting, Sheriff Scott Jenkins announced that he would deputize masses of Culpepper residents to protect their Second Amendment rights.
"My office will always encourage and support our citizens in firearms training, concealed carry permits, and the ability to defend themselves and their families," Jenkins’s office wrote in a Facebook post during the meeting. "If necessary, I plan to properly screen and deputize thousands of our law-abiding citizens to protect their constitutional right to own firearms."

Michelle Obama’s new book is just another craven cash grab
Not content with more than 10 million books sold, a Netflix deal in the high eight figures, a joint publishing advance with husband Barack worth $65 million, a highly profitable world tour, speaking fees that by now surely average around $500,000 per, and a recently acquired waterfront Martha’s Vineyard mansion purchased for $15 million, Michelle Obama is back with another craven money grab.
“Becoming: A Guided Journal for Discovering Your Voice” is her new publishing venture.
Billed as a sequel of sorts to Obama’s best-selling memoir, this squat, slim volume, priced at $19.99, is Michelle “now provid[ing] you with the encouragement to find value in your own personal journey,” the publisher says.

The FBI Teams Up With The Post Office To Get Your Fingerprints
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is teaming up with the “highly efficient” post office to make sure they’ve got your fingerprints. Even though it wasn’t that long ago that people were warned of sharing their DNA with ancestry sites, it seems they might have reason to be concerned now about the FBI’s desire to snag your fingerprints too.
Now, the government has announced a new program in which they hope people will voluntarily give their fingerprints. As the public has become more aware of such privacy concerns, it seems strange that on Friday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced a new partnership with the United States Postal Service where customers can voluntarily provide them with their fingerprints while you’re at the post office.

Ralph Northam Vows ‘Consequences’ for 2A Sanctuaries that Refuse Gun Control
Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) says he is not opposed to counties declaring Second Amendment Sanctuary status but he vows “consequences” if those counties refuse to enforce gun control.
On December 10, 2019, Breitbart News reported CNN’s tally of over 40 counties that have declared Second Amendment Sanctuary status. And on December 12, 2019, Breitbart News reported that more than 1,000 residents attended the Chesapeake City Council meeting and cheered at that city declared it will defend Second Amendment rights.
The Associated Press reports the number of Second Amendment declarations sits at above 50, if one counts cities and counties together.
These declarations are all part of an effort for cities and counties to get out in front of Democrats’ assumption power in January, at which time they expected to pass numerous new gun controls.

Virginia gun law would include grandfather clause for current owners of assault weapons
If a proposed assault weapons ban in Virginia is signed into law, citizens who already own the banned weapons would not be required to give up their guns, according to a new report.
"The governor’s assault weapons ban will include a grandfather clause for individuals who already own assault weapons, with the requirement they register their weapons before the end of a designated grace period,” Gov. Ralph Northam's office told the Virginia Mercury on Monday. "Additional details on this and all other bills will be announced prior to the start of the upcoming session.”
The sweeping legislation, being written by the Democratically-controlled House of Delegates, would ban assault weapons, bump stocks, and high-capacity magazines.

Greta Thunberg is Time's 2019 Person of the Year
Time magazine on Wednesday announced teen climate activist Greta Thunberg is its 2019 Person of the Year. The 16-year-old Thunberg first made headlines last year with her solitary strike against climate change outside Sweden's parliament.
Since then, she's inspired millions of supporters to rally in more than 150 countries. In September, she scolded world leaders at the United Nations for failing to address climate change.
"People are suffering. People are dying and dying ecosystems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction, and all you can talk about is the money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth," she said Monday, as she fought back tears. "How dare you! For more than 30 years the science has been crystal clear. How dare you continue to look away and come here saying that you're doing enough when the politics and solutions needed are still nowhere in sight."

Cop admits he received oral sex in back of squad car from woman he had just arrested - but claims it was consensual
A former Delaware police officer charged with raping a wanted woman in his patrol car admitted he engaged in the inappropriate behavior, but did so because he thought she was a prostitute.
A lawyer representing Corporal Thomas Oliver Jr. who worked for the Wilmington Police Department and was suspended over the 2018 allegation which got him charged with rape, told jurors that his client thought he was having 'consensual sexual intercourse'.
'Thomas Oliver does not deny it was wrong on one level, not a criminal level, for him to pursue his own personal pleasures while serving as a Wilmington police officer', attorney Eugene Maurer said Tuesday during his opening statement.

Fox Host Lambastes Trump: 'Assault on Press Freedom'
Fox News host Chris Wallace lambasted President Donald Trump for spearheading "the most direct sustained assault on freedom of the press in our history."
"I believe that President Trump is engaged in the most direct sustained assault on freedom of the press in our history," Wallace, the host of "Fox News Sunday," said to applause in a speech Wednesday at the Newseum, an interactive gallery devoted to the media, in Washington.
"He has done everything he can to undercut the media, to try and de-legitimize us, and I think his purpose is clear: to raise doubts when we report critically about him and his administration that we can be trusted.

Warren Denies Receiving 'Any Benefit' as a Result of Her Native-American Lie
On Friday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-1/1024th of a Plan) once again denied receiving "any job" or "any benefit" from her false claim to Native American status. In humiliating remarks during a New Hampshire town hall, Warren explained why she lied, admitted that she is not a "person of color," and again insisted she did not benefit from the lie.
"My three older brothers and I learned about our family the same way most people do, from our mom and from our dad. My family’s very important to me and that’s why — many years ago — I sometimes identified as Native American. Boston Globe did a big investigation about this, gosh, about a year and a half ago. Never had anything to do with any job I ever got or any benefit," Warren said.
"But even so, I shouldn’t have done it. I am not a person of color, I am not a citizen of a tribe and I have apologized for confusion I have caused on tribal citizenship, tribal sovereignty, and for any harm that I have caused," she concluded.

Adam Schiff: Congress Must Impeach Trump to Stop Him in 2020
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) on Tuesday indicated that Democrats must impeach President Trump quickly in order to stop him from prevailing in the 2020 presidential election.
Democrats on Tuesday unveiled two articles of impeachment against the president: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Notably, neither allege a high crime or misdemeanor. Noticeably absent was the Democrats’ long-held appeal to bribery, extortion, or treason.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), flanked by chairs Jerry Nadler (D-NY), Adam Schiff (D-CA), Eliot Engel (D-NY), Maxine Waters (D-CA), Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), and Richard Neal (D-MA), stepped aside as both Nadler and Schiff briefly offered minimal details on their decision. Democrats did not indicate when the text would be released and refused to take questions following the momentous announcement.
Schiff briefly addressed critics who say that Democrats should simply wait for the American people to judge the president in the 2020 election.
Democrats, Schiff suggested, cannot allow that, because it would essentially allow Trump to “cheat” in one more election.

SHOCK VIDEO: BLACK TEENS PUMMEL WHITE STUDENT OVER TRUMP HAT
Startling footage has emerged from Florida showing a white middle school student being jumped by a group of black teen girls – all over a “Trump” baseball cap.
The footage shows a female student assault the boy as he’s sitting in a school bus seat, before at least 7 other girls join in.
The video was spread on social media Thursday by one of the boy’s parents, who claimed the 14-year-old’s support of the president sparked the November 21 incident.
“I am sitting in the hospital with my 14 year old kid because he was just jumped by 8 black kids on the school bus, I guess that’s what happens when a kid wears a #Trump hat to school,” the parent wrote on Twitter. “And who’s the violent ones again? Earlier today they poured milk all over his head.”

Hillary Clinton: Trump Made Me ‘Sick to My Stomach’ Pardoning War Criminals
On Wednesday, during an appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show,” 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton commented on President Donald Trump getting involved with Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher’s case and pardoning Army veterans Clint Lorance and Matthew Golsteyn.
After telling the story of Navy SEALs saving women and children at Osama bin Laden’s compound after successfully killing him, Clinton said, “When I think about the American military, that’s who I think about.”
She continued, “I am sick to my stomach about what Trump did pardoning three men who were testified against by their own men because of the way that they behaved.”
She added, “It’s his perverse understanding of courage and war.”

The Anti-Trump Resistance Is Really against the Deplorables
The impeachment hullabaloo is clearly revealing the Left's virulent hatred of President Donald Trump. The Trump Derangement Syndrome is blatantly on display for everyone to see, especially among the obnoxious Ivy League law professors featured last week in the media. What should be equally obvious is that while Trump is the symbol, the real object of the Left's hatred is we — the average Americans whom Hillary called the "deplorables" and "irredeemables," and the ones that Barack Obama claimed "cling to their guns and religion and have antipathy to people who aren't like them." Our values, our beliefs, our taste in music and food, our very existence offends the Progressives. They especially hate our patriotism and our support for America and the values that undergird our nation's strength and buttress our position as "the greatest nation in the history of the world." Progressives hate our vision of America as exceptional and blessed by God.
They hate that our vision of what America should be, what the Founders designed it to be, is contrary to what they thought was within their reach when Obama promised to "fundamentally transform" this country. They especially hate that we will not bow down to the supposed superiority of the elites, those who have gained control of the levers of power in the bureaucracy, Congress, educational hierarchies, the entertainment industry, and numerous other segments of culture and governance.

Crooked Hillary Attacks President Trump After Dems Announce Articles of Impeachment – Calls Him “Occupant of the Oval Office”
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters and other liberal chairmen announced their Articles of Impeachment against President Trump on Tuesday morning.
— Abuse of Power
— Obstruction of Congress
That’s all they could come up with.
Serial liar Adam Schiff accused President Trump of cheating to win the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton.
“The president’s misconduct goes to the heart of whether we can conduct a free and fair election in 2020…Despite everything we have uncovered, the president’s misconduct continues to this day, unapologetically and right now,” Schiff said Tuesday morning.
Hillary Clinton cheered the news and called President Trump the “occupant of the Oval Office.”
“We must defend our democracy, and the painful truth is that the occupant of the Oval Office is waging war against it,” Hillary said in a tweet Tuesday.

Federal judge blocks billions in Pentagon funding from paying for border wall
A federal judge has blocked President Trump from diverting Pentagon funds from various military projects toward building a wall on the United States's southern border.
Judge David Briones of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas issued the block in response to a lawsuit by El Paso County, Texas, and the Border Network for Human Rights.
"The President's emergency proclamation was a blatant attempt to grab power from Congress. Today's order affirms that the President is not a king and that our courts are willing to check him when he oversteps his bounds," Kristy Parker, an attorney for the litigants, said in a statement.

Mother files assault report after student says teacher ripped off her 'Women for Trump' button
An assault and larceny report was filed against a teacher in Michigan after a 16-year-old student claimed that her teacher tore a “Women for Trump” button off her clothing.
Sadie Earegood, a junior at Mason High School, told WILX that media technology teacher Paul Kato yanked the accessory off because he didn’t like the button.
“I was just really shocked that a teacher would especially do that,” she said. “He's talking about the ‘Women for Trump’ pin and I said, ‘that's fine you don't have to like it, we can have our opinions.’”
She said that there was a struggle where Kato put his hand on her shoulder.

Harris Statement on State Reconsideration of Offshore Wind Projects
WASHINGTON, DC: Rep. Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) responded to today’s decision by the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) granting Ocean City’s petition to reconsider the U.S. Wind and Skipjack offshore wind projects. The PSC will reconsider the use of Maryland taxpayer subsidies for the projects.
Congressman Harris made the following statement:
“The view of dozens of giant wind turbines in these proposed projects from the beach in Ocean City undermines our local economy. I commend the decision of the Maryland Public Service Commission to reconsider spending tax dollars of hard-working Marylanders to pay subsidies for both the US Wind and Skipjack offshore wind projects. Both of these projects, developed by foreign companies, now include proposals to install giant 853 foot tall wind turbines off Maryland’s coast – windmills that are nearly three times taller than those originally proposed and originally approved several years ago by the Commission. I share the concerns of the residents of Ocean City, which in addition to having to see larger unsightly towers with their flashing red aviation warning lights, also include negative effects on fishing, marine safety, tourism, and property values. These projects as now proposed with much larger windmills need to be stopped until all the local concerns can be dealt with, if that is even possible.
Governor Hogan to Invest $130 Million More for Pre-K Expansion and Other Education Priorities
Continues Record Education Investment, Will Introduce Legislation for Free AP Exams for Low-Income Students
ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Larry Hogan today, following his recent announcement to launch the next chapter of education reform in Maryland, committed another $130 million in additional education spending, including prekindergarten expansion and Concentrations of Poverty Grants. The governor will also introduce new legislation to expand access to Advanced Placement (AP) tests for low-income students.
“I believe very strongly that every single child in Maryland deserves access to a world-class education, regardless of what neighborhood they happen to grow up in, and that commitment must begin with our youngest Marylanders,” said Governor Hogan. “Education has been, and will continue to be, our administration’s highest priority. With this funding, we are reaffirming our commitment to provide increased investment for our schools, more accountability for Maryland parents, teachers, and taxpayers, and most importantly, better results for our children.”

Hunter Biden's Child Support Case Just Got Even More Interesting. The Mother Wants Answers About Burisma.
Last month, a DNA test confirmed that Hunter Biden is the father of a child born in August 2018. The mother, Luden Roberts, reportedly worked at Mpire Gentlemen's Club in Washington, D.C., where Biden frequented. That's how the two allegedly met. Roberts has, understandably, gone after Biden for child support, health care and legal fees.
Biden filed a motion in the Arkansas Circuit Court of Independence for a protective order to shield his financial records from being made public a few weeks ago. A judge demanded both Roberts and Biden hand over five years worth of financial records, meaning he has to reveal his position at the Ukrainian gas company Burisma and just how much money they paid him, Daily Mail reported. It has been estimated that he was paid anywhere between $50,000 to $83,000 a month to sit on Burisma's board, despite having no natural energy experience.
The judge presiding over the case originally wanted only three years of financial records but ultimately said he needed five years of records to determine how much child support Biden needs to cough up.

President Trump’s third visit to the annual Army-Navy college football game was met with cheers.
Trump attended to the storied legacy game Saturday, where he participated in the ceremonial coin toss while wearing a “Keep America Great” hat. Prior to the game, he visited players for both the Army Black Knights and the Navy Midshipmen in their respective locker rooms.
While in the locker rooms, Trump, alongside Defense Secretary Mark Esper, encouraged the players and told them about how their service in the military can now be delayed until after they end their professional sports careers.
