Hmm: Larry Hogan Going to New Hampshire Next Month
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan will be going to New Hampshire next month, leading many to wonder whether the Republican governor is getting serious about taking on President Trump in 2020.
Hogan will be speaking at the Politics & Eggs event hosted by the New Hampshire Institute of Politics and the New England Council at Saint Anselm College in April, which “is a must-attend event for potential presidential candidates,” the Washington Post reports.
Hogan’s upcoming visit to New Hampshire, which is where the nation’s first primary is held, comes after reports that he hasn’t closed the door on mounting a primary challenge against Trump.

This Guy Can't Be Serious!!!
It seems that Stewart from Flannery's has a bug up his A$$ for me and my new restaurant in Ocean City. Well, there's a damn good reason he's stuck in the boonies in a trailer in Riverside Drive in Salisbury/Fruitland.
As many of you have tried, his food absolutely sucks and as someone told me after reading the above post, there's a damn good reason why he's never progressed from a trailer.
My pork bbq is incredible and will certainly blow his away, period. ANYONE, (in which this Idiot has not) who has tried my pork bbq will confirm, it's the best they've ever had, hands down. So this jackass who has never even tried my bbq and is all the way in Salisbury wants to try to claim his is better, I'd say he's obviously scared to death that a blogger has kicked his A$$ and the mass majority are calling him on on his BS because they love my pork.
Just because you CLAIM to use the word Chef in front of your name does NOT mean your any better. Minnesota Fats never played a professional game of pool in his life and he could beat the crap out of most, (if not all) professional players.
If you want real pulled pork bbq, come to a place that has a $30,000.00 smoker, (something even after all these years Stewart doesn't have) and enjoy from a true master of passionate cooking. On top of that, come see the volume of food you get from my restaurant verses trailer trash food from the boonies of Salisbury. No beans and rice will be added at my plates to fill you up and enjoy the most tender pulled pork you can chew with your tongue.
By the way, this jackass never told me anything, never called, e-mail or text, he's a LIAR. Stewart Flannery, "You've Been Blogged"!

Kathy Griffin complains she's still blacklisted in Hollywood
Kathy Griffin complained in a recent interview that she’s still being blackballed in Hollywood for her infamous President Trump decapitation photo she took over a year and a half ago.
The Grammy-winning comedian appeared at South By Southwest this week to premiere her new stand-up film, “Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story,” which she financed herself because she said she can’t find any allies in the entertainment industry.
Ms. Griffin became a public pariah in 2017 when she was photographed holding a fake severed head depicting the president. The comedian was widely condemned and lost sponsors, hosting gigs and tour dates over the stunt. She said she was investigated for months by the Department of Justice and placed on the federal no-fly list during that time.

Bill passes to make Maryland first state to ban foam food containers
ANNAPOLIS, Md. —The House of Delegates passed a bill Tuesday to make Maryland the first state to ban the use of foam food containers and cups.
Half of Maryland residents already live in areas where polystyrene foam is banned. This bill makes it statewide.
The bill bans expanded polystyrene, or EPS, foam food containers, often confused with Styrofoam, from being used by restaurants, grocery stores and other food providers. The bill also bans the retail sale of these products.

Axios/Harris Poll: 49.6 percent of Young Voters Prefer a Socialist Country
The messaging of Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and now Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is reaching young Americans – which will be 37 percent of the electorate in 2020, according to Axios – and "socialism" is no longer a dirty word in America, once the heartbeat of capitalism.
Generation Z and millennials take more kindly to socialistic policy than past generations. In fact 49.6 percent of young voters would prefer to live in a socialist country, according to a new Harris Poll given exclusively to Axios.
That figure has dragged American society as a whole to be 37.2 percent favoring living in a socialist over capitalist society, according to the poll.
Younger voters put more emphasis on universal healthcare, free college and abolishing ICE than the electorate as a whole, per The Harris Poll.

Governor Hogan Statement on Trump Administration’s Cuts To Chesapeake Bay Program
Governor Hogan Statement on Trump Administration’s Cuts To Chesapeake Bay Program
ANNAPOLIS, MD - Governor Larry Hogan today issued the following statement on the Trump Administration's proposed Fiscal Year 2020 Budget, which would drastically cut funding for Chesapeake Bay restoration:
“As Governor of Maryland and Chairman of the Chesapeake Executive Council, protecting the Chesapeake Bay remains one of my top priorities. The EPA Administrator himself called the Chesapeake Bay Program a ‘high priority,’ making this week's cut in the budget a total betrayal. These cuts are potentially devastating to restoration efforts at such a critical time.
“Here in Maryland, leaders from both sides of the aisle have taken a strong stance on environmental conservation, and we hope our leaders at the federal level will do the same. As I have every year, I will continue to urge our federal partners to protect these critical investments into ongoing Bay restoration efforts and work with our congressional delegation to restore funding.
“The Chesapeake Bay is a state and national treasure, and federal support is essential to improving the waterway’s health. We will not allow several decades of environmental restoration to be dismantled. We will continue to fight hard against any cuts to the cleanup program.”
Dead Wrong: Dems to Allow Deceased to Vote
Washington, D.C.- House Democrats launched a new plan to allow dead people to vote from beyond the grave on Wednesday.
The plan allows for family members to cast a vote for their dearly departed as if they were still alive. Deceased voters are eligible as long as they passed within the preceding ten years. When asked how to determine for whom the dead will vote, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said, “Who knows them better? Their families will make an informed decision based on the wishes they whispered in private.”
A passerby overhearing the interview asked Cortez how the “dead” can vote, to which she snapped, “We prefer the term ‘alternatively-alive.’ You’re a livist if you do not refer to them in the preferred manner.” She never actually answered the passerby’s question.

Trump administration announces plan to put more ethanol in gasoline
The Environmental Protection Agency rolled out a plan to allow more ethanol in the nation's gasoline supply Tuesday, after a long wait that had Cabinet officials sparring over the timing of the plan.
“Consistent with President Trump’s direction, EPA is working to propose and finalize these changes by the summer driving season,” said EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler.
The proposed regulations would allow 15-percent ethanol fuels to be sold year-round, including in the summer. The high-ethanol fuel is currently banned by the EPA for sale during the summer driving season, which begins June 1, because of its high fuel volatility rating, which can hurt engine performance and can contribute to smog, especially during summer.

Dick’s Sporting Goods to Remove Guns From 125 Stores
Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. said Tuesday it will stop selling firearms at 125 of its stores, further pulling back from the business after the retailer decided last year to tighten its policies around gun sales.
Dick’s has struggled with declining sales since its CEO Ed Stack made a public decision to stop selling guns to buyers under 21 and take assault-style weapons out of all stores after a fatal school shooting in Parkland, Fla. Dick’s is also working to stem sluggish sales as more shoppers buy sporting goods online.
This year Dick’s will remove guns and some hunting gear from 125 locations, after testing the concept in 10 stores last year, Mr. Stack said on a conference call Tuesday. Dick’s had 729 of its namesake locations as of Feb. 2. The space will be used to sell higher-margin, faster-selling categories such as licensed sports gear and outdoor recreation equipment, Mr. Stack said.

DEMS TO INTRODUCE BILL REQUIRING MEN CALL POLICE WHEN THEY ‘RELEASE SPERM FROM THEIR TESTICLES’
A pair of Georgia Democrat lawmakers are planning to introduce a bill that would require men to call police when they ejaculate, and classify unprotected sex as “aggravated assault” on the men’s part.
State Reps. Dar’shun Kendrick, of Lithonia, and Park Cannon, of Atlanta are putting forward a “testicular bill of rights” in protest of Georgia’s House passing a bill preventing abortions once a heartbeat is detected in the womb.
“Introducing my ‘testicular bill of rights’ legislative package. You want some regulation of bodies and choice? Done!” Kendrick tweeted on Monday.

Wicomico Schools Eye $220M Budget
SALISBURY – The Wicomico County Board of Education this week adopted a $220 million proposed budget for fiscal year 2020.
On Tuesday, the school board voted unanimously to approve the $220,816,643 budget. The spending plan includes $7.58 million in funding to launch Achieve! 3.0, Superintendent Donna Hanlin’s strategic priorities for the school system.
“It is well aligned and designed based upon the resources we believe we need to implement in the next iteration of Imagine 2022 where we are emphasizing the three strategic priorities,” she said, “students entering kindergarten ready to learn, increasing the graduation rate with a real focus this year on the social, emotional and behavioral needs of students and our English language learner population, and recruiting and retaining a high performing workforce.”
Jesse Reid, the board of education’s comptroller, said the $220 million budget includes a special revenue budget of nearly $18 million and a general fund budget of $202.8 million, which includes $46.15 million in county appropriations.

Annapolis Legislative Update — $1 BILLION IN NEW TAXES???
Legislative Leaders Propose a $1 BILLION Tax Hike
Speaker of the House Mike Busch and Senate President Mike Miller say they’ve figured out a “blueprint” for the future of Maryland’s public schools. Sounds great, right?
The problem is — their proposal calls for a $1 BILLION tax hike on Maryland taxpayers to pay for it!
Remember Martin O’Malley’s 47 consecutive tax increases, totaling more than $8 billion dollars?
Remember the $547 million in taxes that Democrats decided to keep last year instead of returning it to state taxpayers?

Donald Trump: First Lady Melania Would Be ‘Jackie O Times Twenty’ If I Were Democrat
President Donald Trump pointed to media bias against first lady Melania Trump on Monday, in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News.
“If Ivanka Trump were a Democrat or a liberal democrat, even better, she’d be the toast of the world,” the president said. “Same thing with our great first lady, who people love by the way. If our first lady, if I were a Democrat instead of a Republican, she’d be Jackie O times twenty. Instead, they go after her.”
Trump was referring to President John F. Kennedy’s wife Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis — frequently nicknamed “Jackie O” after she became a world-famous celebrity and fashion icon in the United States.
Trump was disgusted by the #FakeMelania conspiracy that trended on Twitter after the president and the first lady went to visit people affected by the deadly tornadoes in Alabama.
News outlets including ABC’s The View highlighted unverified Twitter claims featuring distorted photos of Trump and Melania to suggest that the first lady had a body double spend that time with the president.
