How Do You Beat The Bankers At Their Own Game?

Those that have been following events for several years know they are under attack by an enemy that has no face and means to do them great harm. Nothing less than their sovereignty and freedom is at stake. Absolute control over people and resources is the ultimate goal.

People need to understand that the bankers need to collapse everything and leave the population in want of resources and supplies. Just like after a natural disaster when the government shows up to provide help to those that have lost everything, the bankers want to show up after the population has lost everything in a collapse, to be their savior and gain control of everyone by offering resources in exchange for compliance.

There are several actions you can take to prevent these people from gaining control over your life.

You must be able to feed yourself-

You must have a home to live in that you own free and clear-

You need to be your own energy company-

You need to be your own bank-

You need to be able to defend what you have-

You need to have skills to operate your own business-

You need to promote a community based economy-

To put it simply, you need to get out of their game and start your own. Remember, the house always wins.

Finland Offering Bribes, Plane Tickets to Migrants to Go Home

The Finnish Immigration Service has announced large increases in cash and commodity subsidies for 2019, in some cases double those of 2018 offerings.

Migrants who are unable to fund their return trip home can receive up to 2,000 euros cash and a free plane ticket if they are from a lengthy list of "Group A" countries, which include Iraq, Somalia, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.

Alternately, they can opt to receive "commodity support" of as much as 5,000 euros to cover expenses such as "assistance in finding an apartment" or "setting up your own business."

Additional sums are offered on a per-child basis.

"We want to encourage going home because it is always a cheaper option than returning to the police or staying here illegally," Tarja Rantala, project manager of the Volunteer Return to Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia project, told YLE.

"We have many in the reception system with many negative decisions and it becomes expensive. One day at the reception center is 50 euros per head, so at 100 days it will already be 5,000 euros."

Al Sharpton Accuses 'So Called' Super Bowl Fans of Racism

This year's Super Bowl was a relatively blasé affair by most accounts. The Patriots won for the six time in its career. There were no memorable commercials except for a "Twilight Zone" reboot tease and an ad celebrating 100 years of the NFL. The halftime show was pretty underwhelming except for a jarring "Spongebob Squarepants" transition. The one good thing that anybody could say about the game is that there were barely any politics throughout the proceedings.

Barely.

About an hour before the game proper started, Al Sharpton gave an accusatory address to the NFL and its fans on MSNBC's "Gotcha" segment.

Sharpton used this time to call out football fans for being racist because they didn't approve of black players kneeling for the National Anthem. The protest, instigated by former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in 2016, was a demonstration against police violence against black Americans.

Dem Reps Signal Support for U.S. Recognition of Israeli Sovereignty Over Golan Heights

Two Democratic lawmakers from New York signaled on Monday that they might support the United States officially recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.

"The only thing the Golan has ever been used for by the Syrians is to bombard Israel," Rep. Jerry Nadler (D., N.Y.) told Jewish Insider. "They can’t have that again. It’s unsafe."

Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D., N.Y.) said she would support U.S. recognition of Israel's sovereignty over the region if Democratic leadership is on board.

"If our leadership supports it, I don’t see what the problem is," Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D., N.Y.) said. "So I will be supporting it, but only if it goes through the [House Foreign Affairs Committee] and is supported by the committee."

Israel has maintained control over the contested region for 51 years after taking control in 1967 during the Six Day War. Israel defended itself during the conflict from attacks brought by Syria and other Arab nations in the region. In 1981, Israel annexed the Golan Heights. Since then, the U.S. has refused to recognize the region as sovereign territory of Jewish state.

WaPo Defends Decision To Mothball Graphic Sex-Assault Claim Against Virginia Lt. Gov Fairfax

The Washington Post is defending its decision to pass on a sexual assault allegation against Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax after having "carefully investigated the claim for several months," while failing to mention why they didn't apply the same standards to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

The woman described a sexual encounter that began with consensual kissing and ended with a forced act that left her crying and shaken. She said Fairfax guided her to the bed, where they continued kissing, and then at one point she realized she could not move her neck. She said Fairfax used his strength to force her to perform oral sex. -WaPo

Explaining their side of things, the Post writes: "The woman approached The Post after Fairfax won election in November 2017 and before he was inaugurated in January 2018, saying she felt like she had an obligation to speak out," writes WaPo, adding "Fairfax and the woman told different versions of what happened in the hotel room with no one else present. The Washington Postcould not find anyone who could corroborate either version. The Post did not find “significant red flags and inconsistencies within the allegations,” as the Fairfax statement incorrectly said."

In other words, the WaPo afforded Fairfax, a Democrat, the benefit of the doubt - something they did not do with Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh when his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford levied a similarly uncorroborated accusation from over 30 years ago.

Cartels Are Making Americans Living Near The Border Afraid To Report Crimes

U.S. residents living near the southern border claim they are afraid to report immigration-related crimes to the police, detailing horrific stories of retaliation by Mexican cartels.

“I turned in 700 pounds [of marijuana] up here … I called it in [to Border Patrol]. They went and got it. That night, [the smugglers] came back. They … broke off all the floats off my troughs — chopped ’em up, drained all of it,” Billy Darnell, a cattle rancher in New Mexico, explained to the Washington Examiner.

Unlike other residents in the area, Darnell alerts the Border Patrol and local authorities whenever he sees an incident. However, the Hidalgo County cattle ranger says he has paid the price for talking.

Drug smugglers working for the cartels are constantly crossing the U.S-Mexico border, carrying marijuana and other illicit narcotics with them. Many times, smugglers will camp out and make use of property on the U.S. side of the border, clashing with American ranchers and residents.

Trump inaugural committee subpoenaed by federal investigators

The federal investigation into President Trump’s inaugural committee has intensified with a subpoena ordering the handover of virtually all documentation to prosecutors looking into possible crimes including conspiracy against the U.S., wire fraud, and money laundering.

“We have just received a subpoena for documents. While we are still reviewing the subpoena, it is our intention to cooperate with the inquiry,” a spokesperson for the inaugural committee toldABC News.

The move by prosecutors underlined the reality that the investigations into Trump have stretched far beyond his campaign's potential ties to Russia during the 2016 election and now include his presidential bid, his inauguration, his businesses and his actions while in office.

New Democrat Abortion Bills Reveal the Truth About the Hardcore ‘Pro-Choice’ Movement

In New York, Democrats passed and cheered a law that allows abortion not just in the third trimester, but right up to moments before birth. To celebrate their ghastly achievement, Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo ordered One World Trade Center to be lit pink.

That tower was built to celebrate life -- specifically the lives lost to terrorism on 9/11. It was never intended to be used as a partisan pawn, never mind to commemorate such a radically anti-life law.

As if to one-up New York’s radicalism, Virginia, under Democrat Gov. Ralph Northam, is now considering a law that would allow “abortion” even after a baby is born in some circumstances.

Northam now claims his remarks have been mischaracterized. Here is what he said.

So in this particular example if a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen, the infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.

‘Toxic Masculinity’ is Misnamed

“Toxic masculinity” has become one of the latest rallying cries on the left, a new way to attack a favorite target, white men. All kinds of behavior is lumped in under this label. Men who rape women are labeled the same as men who play contact sports. Instead of specifically describing “toxic rapists” or similar, the phrase implies that all men are toxic.

But it’s not accurate. Not all men are toxic. Rapists, abusers, murderers, etc. are toxic. Children’s sports coaches, pastors and men who are caregivers are not. Gillette came out with a controversial ad last month condemning toxic masculinity. It featured men looking the other way as boys behaved badly. But what kind of men did it show? Not thugs and absentee fathers. As author Barbara McKaypointed out, these were neatly dressed, middle-class men barbecuing. These are fathers “deeply invested in family life.” But the ad made it look like even the best of regular, good guys enable toxic behavior by their gender.

Racist photo tip came from ex-classmate angry with Northam's abortion remarks

A far-right conservative website was reportedly tipped off about the racist photo on Gov. Ralph Northam's medical school yearbook page by one of his former classmates.

A source from Big League Politics told the Washington Post the individual reached out because of "anger" over Northam's recent comments about a bill that would loosen restrictions on abortions.

“The revelations about Ralph Northam’s racist past were absolutely driven by his medical school classmate’s anger over his recent very public support for infanticide,” the unnamed source said.

Flashback: Northam Campaign Ad Shows Racists in a Pickup Truck with Confederate Flags Running Over Screaming Minority Children!

The Democrats’ closing argument in the Virginia governor’s race in 2018 showed racist Trump voters in pickup trucks and Confederate flags running over children.

The ad was financed by the Latino Victory Fund for Ralph Northam in Virginia.

A picture from Democrat Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s medical school yearbook surfaced on Friday showing two men, one in a KKK hood and robe and one in ‘blackface’ on the same page as Northam.

The photo was first published by Big League Politics on Friday and later confirmed by other outlets such as WaPo and The Virginian Pilot.
One half of the page shows Ralph Northam wearing a suit jacket and a tie, a photo of him in a cowboy hat and boots and another of him leaning up against a convertible.

Cheerleading Infanticide Might Just Be The Tipping Point For Democrats

As a man, I feel very comfortable telling women that they can’t murder their babies.

I will never be impregnated, or carry a baby, nor give birth, and yet I am still going to demand that no one murder a child.

Yeah, I know a lot of liberals insist that because I identify as male, I can’t have an opinion on the subject of murdering babies, but I do have an opinion, and it is that we should not legalize the murder of babies.

Call it “male privilege” if you wish, but I’m sticking with my firm “No killing babies” position.

I don’t think I’m alone on this. I don’t think it’s just my genitals driving this decision. I think a lot of other male identifying people, and female identifying people, and people who identify in other ways, all can’t get behind infanticide. We have come together in a beautiful and diverse coalition of people who oppose the legal extermination of children. And it’s a coalition that should worry the Democrat elite, since a lot of Democrat voters are not cool with laws that allow the offing of infants.

Mayors: Immigration Reform Would Take a Day If We Were in Charge

The White House and Congress now have three weeks to agree on border security -- or the government could shut down again. A bipartisan group of border-state mayors wants more than a wall -- if at all.

A bipartisan group of border-state mayors in Washington, D.C., this week urged the federal government to pass comprehensive immigration reform and criticized President Donald Trump’s focus on building a wall between the United States and Mexico.

"We need to protect our borders,” Republican Mayor Dee Margo of El Paso, Texas, said on Thursday during a panel discussion held just blocks from the White House at the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) winter meeting. “But this whole idea of focusing on a wall -- $1.3 billion or $5.7 billion -- is a bunch of malarkey. That's not dealing with the issue.”

Angel Dad to Pelosi: ‘Why don’t you talk to me about my daughter’s death?’

Angel dad Chris Odette questioned why House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has not presented a bill to tear down the border wall if she really thinks it is “immoral.”

Odette, a military veteran, told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview Wednesday that he has tweeted Speaker Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer numerous times, inviting Pelosi to meet and talk about his daughter’s death, but he has received no response.

Odette’s daughter, Chrishia Odette, was just 13 years old when, on September 12, 2014, unlicensed driver and illegal alien Ramiro Tolentino Guevara careened into the girl’s body. Odette recounted the authorities’ description of the blood that streamed from her face after being struck and the professionals who said she may have lived for minutes with her injuries before dying.

He said he would ask them about this “manufactured crisis, asking is this really a manufactured crisis?” He would inquire, “Why don’t you talk to me about my daughter’s death?”

Democrats’ 2019 DHS Spending Bill Opens the Border to Migrants

The House Democrats’ proposed 2019 homeland security budget reopens the nation’s southern border to migrant inflows, while it also dangles the promise of cheap labor in front of GOP legislators and donors.

The draft budget adds $1.75 billion in extra border spending to President Donald Trump’s $58.7 billion budget request for the Department of Homeland security in 2019, according to a copy published by the Washington Post.

But Democrats’ draft bill does not include any funding for the wall, and it uses the extra money to help migrants bypass border protections and then win jobs in the U.S. labor market.

Judging by the draft bill, “the Democrats want to limit the government’s ability to keep people out of the country,” said Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration Studies. In the Democrats’ provisions become law, he said, adding that “enforcement would be weakened and people abroad would very quickly learn of that, and then illegal immigration would dramatically increase, especially of people with children.”

Nolte: CNN Published Five Hit Pieces Against Howard Schultz in One Day

The far-left CNN published a total of five hit pieces against Howard Schultz on Thursday.

Now that the former Starbucks CEO has said he is looking seriously at a run for president as an Independent in 2020, Democrats are freaking out. They fear that Schultz, a lifelong Democrat activist and donor, will siphon votes away from their 2020 nominee and ensure President Trump wins a second term.

CNN, a cable network devoted to Trump’s defeat and moving the country to the far-left, appears to be equally concerned, which is the only way to explain why the basement-rated outlet published five attacks against Schultz in a single day.

What’s more, three of those five hit pieces cover the exact same subject — a tweet Schultz fired off before he was bullied into deleting it.

Here are the five headlines from Thursday:

Border Patrol Finds Smuggling Tunnel near Rio Grande

Border patrol agents discovered a 60-foot tunnel leading from Mexico into the United States at the Texas border in the city of Hidalgo. It is located at the bottom of a 30-foot embankment on the Rio Grande River, near a border wall built a decade ago, say officials.

It is a suspected smuggling tunnel and only visible and accessible from the river. The tunnel sits on property that belongs to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. It is about 2,000 feet from the Hidalgo County Water Improvement District No. 3 pump station. Reportedly, the Marine unit of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) found the Hidalgo tunnel almost two weeks ago.

Upon its discovery, federal authorities contacted Othal Brand, Jr., the utility company’s president to ascertain if the water district could collapse the tunnel. Brand, however, told them this was a complex operation and, given the construction and location of the underground structure, it required explosion experts, according to the Rio Grande Guardian.

He praised the Marine Unit of CBP for finding it. “Boots on the ground would not have seen it. Helicopters would not have found it. Drones, sensors, would never have found it. You could only see it from the river. They looked at the cliff and found it. It was all covered up with bamboo and brush. It looked kind of dry, which alerted them to it.”

Lone Dem Senator Blocks Bill Banning Infanticide For Babies Who Survive Abortions

On Monday, Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), blocking a Senate bill that would require doctors to give aid to babies who survived abortions, objected to the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, and her one vote was enough to prevent the Senate from passing the bill in a unanimous consent vote, LifeSiteNews reports.

Last Thursday, Senator Ben Sasse (R-NB) requested the unanimous consent vote after Virginia Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam, a pediatric neurologist, had made comments indicating he did not object to letting an infant die after its birth, indicating that a born-alive “infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired.” Sasse had already called for a unanimous consent vote to pass a resolution defending the Knights of Columbus in mid-January. That resolution was passed unanimously.

Amputee Vet Brian Kolfage: Breaking Ground on the Wall in ‘Couple of Months’

Brian Kolfage, the Air Force triple amputee veteran who founded a non-profit organization to build the wall at the southern United States border with private donations, said he expects to break ground in the next couple of months.

Kolfage told Breitbart News in an exclusive phone interview on Thursday, “We’re moving forward with the wall. I’ve got some land owners who are ready to rock and roll, and want us to start slapping up some wall.”

“We should be able to break ground in the next couple of months, we hope, according to our experts,” he said.

Kolfage said they have been keeping the White House informed of their work through one of their board members, former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach. Kobach told the New York Times last week that the president has personally blessed the effort.

Asked what materials they are considering using for the wall, Kolfage said, “We’re looking at every option, but we’re also going to do whatever the border patrol wants … whatever works for them.”

Pro-Life Activists: Women’s Rights Aren’t Built on ‘Broken Bodies’ of Children

Despite freezing weather and short notice, a large group of pro-life activists turned up in Lorton, Virginia, to express outrage and opposition to Delegate Kathy Tran’s (D-Fairfax) proposed bill in the state’s General Assembly to allow abortion up to the moment of birth.

Following videos of Tran explaining that the legislation would allow abortion through the third trimester of pregnancy, and Democrat Gov. “We’re in a defining moment in this nation,” Dannenfelser said. “The almost- or just-born boy or girl is becoming visible to Americans all around the nation.”

"We Could Be At A Turning Point": Small Business Confidence Is Suddenly Collapsing

Having soared to all time highs in 2018 cheering Trump's tax cuts, economic confidence among small businesses has hit its lowest level since the 2016 election, according to a new report.

Heading into 2019, small businesses are becoming more cautious about their plans for spending, whether investments or hiring new employees. Some are already reacting to slowing sales, while others are trying to plan ahead and deal with fears of tariffs, volatile financial markets, the government shut down, higher interest rates and other headwinds heading into the new year with some already speculating about a 2020 recession.

According to a monthly survey of 765 small companies by Vistage Worldwide Inc, just 14% expect the economy to improve this year and 36% expect it to get worse. For the first time since the last election, small businesses are more pessimistic about their own financial outlook then they had been in the year prior.

Ron Paul: Shut Down the TSA!

In the 18 years since Congress created the TSA, the agency has proven itself incapable of providing real security…

Hard as it is to believe, airline travel recently became even more unpleasant. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees being required to work without pay for the duration of the government shutdown resulted in many TSA workers calling in sick. The outbreak of “shutdown flu” among TSA employees forced some large airports to restrict the number of places mandatory TSA screenings were performed, making going through screening even more time-consuming and providing one more reason to shut down the TSA.

Airline security should be provided by airlines and airports. Private businesses, such as airlines, have an incentive to ensure their customers’ safety without treating them like criminal suspects or worse. Security personnel hired by, and accountable to, airlines would not force a nursing mother to drink her own breast milk or steal a stuffed lamb from a wheelchair-using three-year-old and subject the child to such an intensive screening that she cries “I don’t want to go to Disneyworld.” Those who claim that the TSA is necessary to keep us safe should consider that the Department of Homeland Security’s own studies show that TSA’s screenings and even the intrusive pat-downs are ineffective at discovering hidden guns, explosives, and other weapons

Oh, So This Was The Person Who Revealed The Racist Photo On Ralph Northam’s Yearbook Page

Well, it seems support for late-term abortion is what created the fiasco that has embroiled Virginia’s Democratic governor. Pretty much everyone has besieged Gov. Ralph Northam, especially within his own party. They’re urging him to resign after a yearbook photo from his days at Eastern Virginia Medical School was unearthed last week. The picture shows two men donning racist costumes on his 1984 page. One is wearing blackface while the other figure donned Ku Klux Klan garb. Northam apologized for the photo, admitting he was in it last Friday night. He did not specify which person he was in the photo. Was he the KKK man or the blackface dude?

On Saturday, the dumpster fire grew when Northam retracted his apology, saying that wasn’t him in the photo. Then, he admitted to doing blackface, saying he dressed as Michael Jackson in the past. So, Northam’s defense is ‘the photo on my yearbook page that shows someone in blackface isn’t me, but I’ve done blackface before whose pictures haven’t been seen.’

This all started when Northam pretty much endorsed infanticide during a radio interview, where he was asked about a bill proposed by House Delegate Kathy Tran, also a Democrat, who wanted to permit abortion virtually up until the moment of birth. It was an atrocious bill, similar to the legislation recently passed in New York.

Cuomo warns of budget troubles as wealthy flee New York

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo on Monday announced a dramatic drop in state income tax revenue of $2.8 billion, which he says will prompt him to revise his 2019-20 budget and reconsider spending on schools, health care and repairs to roads and bridges.

Cuomo, a Democrat, blamed the shortfall on a federal tax plan backed by Republican President Donald Trump. Cuomo said the law's cap on deductions for state and local taxes at $10,000 was to blame and suggested it is, anecdotally, triggering high-earners to leave New York.

“At this point there is no doubt that the budget we put forward is not supported by the revenues,” Cuomo said at a State Capitol news conference. “It’s as serious as a heart attack.”

Cuomo said he’s not certain what areas might need to be cut, but said the biggest spending areas now are education, health care, infrastructure and another phase-in of a previously approved middle-class tax cut.

The hole in revenues in December, which some analysts have called a December surprise, and continued poor performance in January have created a $2.3 billion drop in anticipated revenues, according to the Cuomo administration. Add that to the $500 million drop in revenues for December that the Cuomo administration had previously projected and the revenue hole is $2.8 billion, according to Cuomo Budget Director Robert Mujica.

Democrats Offer Plan to Release All Child Traffickers at Border into U.S.

The House Democrats’ first offer to President Trump in negotiations to fund his proposed United States-Mexico border wall includes a provision that would end all immigration enforcement for migrants trafficking children across the southern border.

The draft budget provides the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency with $7.4 billion, nearly $850 million less than requested by the Trump administration, and funds only 1,250 beds for adults and migrant children coming across the border this year, a decrease in detention space.

Attached to that funding, though, is an immigration enforcement ban first introduced by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and supported by every Senate Democrat. The Democrats’ offer demands that all immigration enforcement end for any adult crossing the border with a child by the end of Fiscal Year 2019.

Rather than being held in detention for a period of time, those adults and the migrant children they trafficked across the U.S.-Mexico border would be released immediately into the interior of the country.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) previously called the plan the “Child Trafficking Encouragement Act” as it ensures that adults bringing children to the southern border would gain immediate access into the U.S. without fear of being deported or turned away.

Mexican Government Busing 1700 Caravan Migrants to Unsecured Texas Border Area

Coahuila officials deployed 49 private buses and dozens of police vehicles to help transport and safeguard more than 1,700 migrants to an unsecured part of the Texas border. The caravan recently departed from Honduras.

Over the weekend, hundreds of migrants began arriving in southern Coahuila as state officials began setting up temporary shelters and providing food. Governor Miguel Riquelme oversaw operations at one of the camps. The official count from Sunday stood at 1,674 migrants.

In Nuevo Leon, a border state just east of Coahuila, officials outfitted shelters for 1,400 as smaller groups of caravan migrants began to arrive on their journey to the Texas border.

Riquelme ordered that state police forces travel with the caravan to the cities of Piedras Negras and Acuna to ensure their safety. Piedras Negras is immediately south of Eagle Pass, Texas, while Ciudad Acuna is immediately south of Del Rio, Texas. As Breitbart News reported, both cities lack any form of physical barrier other than the ports of entry.

Super Bowl LIII draws lowest overnight ratings in a decade

To some, Super Bowl LIII was enjoyable, a defensive battle that resulted in the lowest-scoring Super Bowl ever. To many more, it was a snooze, a game featuring two of the four highest-scoring teams of the season only managing one touchdown combined.

Whether it was the matchup – the public at large might be tired of seeing the New England Patriots in the championship, and the Los Angeles Rams are something of an upstart – or other circumstances, viewers weren’t watching in droves.

Feds bring first-ever charges against 'birth tourism' scheme

Operation helped thousands of Chinese women give birth in U.S. to secure citizenship

Federal prosecutors announced an indictment Thursday against 19 people accused of running “birth tourism” operations in Southern California that helped thousands of pregnant Chinese women visit the U.S. just in time to give birth — thus securing American citizenship for their children.

The Justice Department said it’s the first time the government has brought charges against such a business.

Women were charged up to $100,000, were arranged visitor visas, then kept in apartments here in order to give birth. Under U.S. birthright policy almost anyone born on American soil — no matter if it’s to an illegal immigrant, a legal visitor or a citizen — is automatically an American citizen.

The scam operators advertised their businesses in China, saying the U.S. had better air, better jobs, better schools and “the most attractive nationality,” prosecutors said.

Chinese government officials were among the clients, prosecutors said.

Some of the Chinese scammers even skipped out on their medical bills, according to the indictments unsealed Thursday.

Seniors

As I've aged, I've become kinder to myself, and less critical of myself. I've become my own friend.

I have seen too many dear friends leave this world, too soon; before they understood the great freedom that comes with aging.

Whose business is it, if I choose to read, or play, on the computer, until 4 AM, or sleep until noon? I will dance with myself to those wonderful tunes of the 50, 60 & 70's, and if I, at the same time, wish to weep over a lost love, I will.

I will walk the beach, in a swim suit that is stretched over a bulging body, and will dive into the waves, with abandon, if I choose to, despite the pitying glances from the jet set. They too, will get old.

I know I am sometimes forgetful. But there again, some of life is just as well forgotten. And, I eventually remember the important things.

Sure, over the years, my heart has been broken. How can your heart not break, when you lose a loved one, or when a child suffers, or even when somebody's beloved pet passes? But, broken hearts are what give us strength, and understanding, and compassion. A heart never broken, is pristine, and sterile, and will never know the joy of being imperfect.

I am so blessed to have lived long enough to have my hair turning gray, and to have my youthful laughs be forever etched into deep grooves on my face.

So many have never laughed, and so many have died before their hair could turn silver.

As you get older, it is easier to be positive. You care less about what other people think. I don't question myself anymore. I've even earned the right to be wrong.

So, to answer your question, I like being old. It has set me free. I like the person I have become. I am not going to live forever, but while I am still here, I will not waste time lamenting what could have been, or worrying about what will be. And I shall eat dessert every single day (if I feel like it).

MAY OUR FRIENDSHIP NEVER COME APART, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART!
