Breaking News: Tiger Woods won the Tour Championship, ending a five-year title drought and completing a remarkable comeback from debilitating back pain.

Woods, 42, triumphed in vintage form, owning the course at East Lake Golf Club from Day 1 with a performance that was equal parts magical and methodical. A small slip on the back nine on Sunday provided some extra drama, but Woods would not be denied.

BREAKING NEWS: EXCLUSIVE, Major Drug Bust In Ocean City Involving Johnny Harrison

I think we ALL know how well the "Good Ol' Boys" can keep things quiet, especially when it comes to one of their own. Nevertheless, SBYNews has always been the leader in exposing the biggest news on the Shore.

Johnny Harrison, son of John Harrison, (Harrison Hotels) in Ocean City home in South Point was raided early yesterday morning in which they found a boat load of drugs and more.

Sources claim it is the biggest raid in Worcester County's history allegedly involving plants, drugs and lots of money. It's my understanding another individual, Michael Cluster was also arrested.

While it is never our intent to harm anyone, it is what it is in this case. We deliver the facts and truth while the rest of your media keeps their mouths shut and covers up this kind of crap. I would've exposed this yesterday but had to await confirmation, which I just received. Let's see if it hits your 5 or 6 PM evening news.

This is being posted at 3:16 PM on Friday September 21st 2018.

Hillary Clinton: Abolish Electoral College Because Donald Trump Is Destroying America

Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton returned to the public forum demanding an end to the electoral college in presidential elections because President Donald Trump was a terrible president.

“You won’t be surprised to hear that I passionately believe it’s time to abolish the Electoral College,” she wrote in a new op-ed in the Atlantic.

Clinton complained that Trump was a racist who was destroying American democracy.

“Trump has sunk far below the already-low bar he set for himself in his ugly campaign,” she wrote, ticking of a laundry lists of offensive actions and public failures in his presidency.

Clinton argued Americans that Trump was a racist, citing his comment about “shithole countries” in Africa, suggesting he did not care about the victims in Puerto Rico because they were Latino, failed to condemn hate crimes against Muslims, and criticized NFL players.

“Hate speech isn’t ‘telling it like it is,'” she wrote. “It’s just hate.”

She also complained that Trump lacked “civic, republican virtue” and the idea of public service.

FYI for Friends in Salisbury...
This took place off Old Ocean City Rd where it connects with Beaglin Park!!!

I had an incident today where there was a guy walking around my truck that was sitting in the driveway and when I knocked on the kitchen window and got his attention he smiled and waved and walked around to the front of the house, I opened the front door, braced it with my foot and body and asked if I could help him, he stated he worked for Comcast and was doing “Spot checks” on the inside house lines. I questioned what he was looking for in my truck, where his Comcast vehicle was and asked for his Identification he replied his vehicle was down the street and his ID was not necessary so I told him I would call Comcast & I needed his ID because no one notified us of any “Spot checks” he again said his I’d was not necessary and he just needed to come inside to check lines it would just take a minute as he started walking towards the door I again demanded his ID and told him I’d call Comcast to verify, he took off running. I did not get a license tag but here’s a description of him & his vehicle:
White Male, short brown stringy hair, mustache & goatee, red plain T-shirt, blue jeans carpenter style shorts, about 5’5”-6’ middle 30’s
He jumped in an older beat up small 2 door black truck possibly a Ford Ranger, I could not see the tag he was parked too far away and I ran out of the house without my phone!

I notified the Sheriff’s department and they took a report! Be aware, The sheriff’s department said they’ve had several calls about this happening in the area!!

The woman who accused Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault said an F.B.I. investigation should be a "first step" before she agrees to testify.

The woman who has accused President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee of sexual assault threw into doubt plans for an extraordinary Senate hearing to air her accusations, charging on Tuesday that some senators have already made up their minds and insisting that the F.B.I. investigate first.

Speaking through her lawyers, Christine Blasey Ford did not explicitly rule out appearing next Monday before the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify along with Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh. But echoing Senate Democrats, she said an investigation should be “the first step” before she is put “on national television to relive this traumatic and harrowing incident.”

Excused absences may be on the way for Montgomery Co. students who attend protests

WASHINGTON — Montgomery County high school students who miss class to attend organized protests or other civic activities during the school day are one step closer to having such absences excused.

It’s not a done deal, but Montgomery County Public Schools’ board members voted unanimously for preliminary approval of the proposed policy change at their meeting on Sept. 11.

If the proposed policy changes get final approval, public school students in the county would get up to three excused absences per academic year for civic engagement.

Lawyer: Kavanaugh Accuser ‘Not Prepared’ to Testify on Monday, Before FBI Investigation

The attorney for the Palo Alto, California, psychology professor who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault while they were high school students said on Tuesday evening that her client, Christine Blasey Ford, is “not prepared” to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday for a hearing without a full FBI investigation into her allegations.

Lisa Banks, one of Ford’s lawyers, told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that though Ford is “prepared to cooperate with the committee and any law enforcement investigation… in whatever form that takes,” she is “not prepared to talk with them at a hearing on Monday” and “can’t focus on having a hearing” after receiving “death threats” and “harassment” in recent days.

Ford’s lawyers reportedly sent a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chuck Grassley (R-IA) on Tuesday evening indicating that Ford wants to testify after an FBI investigation is conducted. In the letter, Ford’s lawyers wrote that “a full investigation by law enforcement officials will ensure that the crucial facts and witnesses in this matter are assessed in a non-partisan manner, and that the Committee is fully informed before conducting any hearing or making any decisions.”

Ocean City Police Preparations Continue Despite Event Relocating

OCEAN CITY, MD – While the official H2O International event has been moved to another city, the Ocean City Police Department continues to anticipate a number of car enthusiasts in the resort beginning Monday, September 24 through Sunday, September 30. After experiencing several years of disruptive behavior, police plan to continue a proactive enforcement strategy with no tolerance for unsafe moving violations and disorderly conduct.
“Our Intelligence Unit has been busy monitoring this event and current social media posts indicate that a number of car enthusiasts plan to come to Ocean City with the intention of being disrespectful to our town,” commented Police Chief Ross Buzzuro. “Residents and visitors should expect a highly visible police presence and a proactive enforcement strategy.” Allied agencies will be in Ocean City to assist including the Maryland State Police, Maryland Transportation Authority, Worcester County Sheriff’s Office, and Maryland Natural Resources Police.
All Ocean City roads will be designated as a Special Event Zone starting on Tuesday, September 25 through Sunday, September 30. Speed limit signs will be changed and reduced to 30 MPH on Coastal Highway and Philadelphia Avenue. Additionally, fines will be increased for all speeding violations in Ocean City during the designated dates.
Common traffic violations seen during motor events include speeding, reckless driving, negligent driving, and spinning wheels. These violations carry fines up to $530 and up to six points assessed by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration to your driver’s license.
Spectators are advised to keep public sidewalks clear for pedestrian traffic. Also, open containers on public property, including public sidewalks, streets and alleyways, are strictly prohibited. Anyone violating this local ordinance is subject to a maximum fine of $500 and/or 90 days in jail.
Citizens and business owners are encouraged to be proactive in the event of disruptive behavior and call the Ocean City Police Department immediately at 410-723-6600.
Finally, citizens should expect traffic delays throughout the weekend. Drivers are reminded to use caution, refrain from texting while driving and be aware of pedestrians. Pedestrians are reminded to Walk Smart, use crosswalks, and wait for the signal to change before crossing.

Breaking News: Rod Rosenstein, the official who appointed Robert Mueller, once proposed secretly taping President Trump and removing him via the 25th Amendment.

Mr. Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general, made these suggestions in the spring of 2017 when Mr. Trump’s firing of James B. Comey as F.B.I. director plunged the White House into turmoil.

He made the remarks in meetings and conversations with other Justice Department and F.B.I. officials. Several people described the episodes, insisting on anonymity to discuss internal deliberations.

"MY ALMIGHTY GOD WAS IN CONTROL THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME"

Ellen Blackmon Beckham

This is my husband Larry's truck as of approximately 6:00am on Monday, September 17, 2018 on Hwy. 145 in Chesterfield, SC. Up until this point I have not posted or really commented to anyone but family members regarding this accident. This is an actual picture of the accident taken by Larry. It is not an after the fact picture like you have seen on the news which to me are deceiving. The road was intact when he began driving across it and collapsed underneath his truck.

The cab of his truck was filling with water and it was running all the way up to the very top of the truck. There was still asphalt between the truck and trailer at the time. He was trying to figure out a way to get out of the truck safely but with water steadily coming into the cab his options were limited. He at that time said God, I've done all I can do. It is in your hands now. A few seconds later, the asphalt between the truck and trailer collapsed creating a sink hole that diverted the water and essentially saved Larry's life. All I can say to this is MY ALMIGHTY GOD WAS IN CONTROL THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME. He was inside that truck with Larry the whole time. He was with the EMS crew that came to the scene and helped him out of the truck and got him to safe land. If it had not been for MY ALMIGHTY GOD, my husband may not be with us today. I praise my God that he was there and that Larry suffered at present only superficial scratches and not major injuries.

Joe Biden Refers to Trump Supporters as “Dregs of Society”

This is worse than Hillary’s infamous “deplorables” comment

“Forces of intolerance” and the “dregs of society,” Biden said, “remain determined to undermine and roll back the progress you have all made. This time, they, not you, have an ally in the White House.”

This is worse than Hillary’s infamous “deplorables” comment.

GOP Rep Gaetz Calls on AG Jeff Sessions to Step Aside --- 'We Can Do Better'

In an interview that aired on Mobile, AL CBS affiliate WKRG on Wednesday, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) declared it was time for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to “step aside” in his duties as head of the Justice Department.

According to Gaetz, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was in charge of the Justice Department, not Sessions.

“I think that he is impaired in doing the job and frankly he should step aside,” Gaetz said. “Jeff Sessions is not in control of the Department of Justice right now. Rod Rosenstein is.”
