False college rape allegation ‘destroyed’ my life: suit

A Long Island woman’s unsubstantiated rape allegation after a drunken night in an upstate frat house has “destroyed” a New Jersey man’s life, he says in a $6 million lawsuit.

Catherine Reddington, 22, claims on social mediathat Alex Goldman, also 22, raped her vaginally and anally in a bedroom of Syracuse University’s Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity following a party in April 2017.

She went to the police and the university with her accusations, and has posted her brutal tale of assault on Facebook in a campaign that Goldman says got him fired from his summer job and could get him tossed from his new college.

“I woke up in Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity in Alex Goldman’s bed confused, bloody, bruised, with ripped clothing and splinter[s],” Reddington wrote earlier this month. “Alex Goldman is a rapist.”

But Goldman — and the Onondaga County prosecutor — tell a different story of that night.

Maxine Waters brushes off alleged threats, vows to 'Impeach 45'

During a speech Saturday at an immigration rally in California, U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters reacted defiantly to alleged threats reportedly directed at her following her previous remarks about the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy.

Waters took the podium at the Families Belong Together rally in downtown Los Angeles, one of the many rallies staged across the country urging for the reunification of families who were separated at the U.S.-Mexico border.

She told the crowd that she has “no fear” and is “in this fight” after saying some congressional lawmakers felt “intimidated.”

“And I know that there are those who are talking about censuring me, talking about kicking me out of Congress, talking about shooting me, talking about hanging me,” she told the disapproving crowd. “All I have to say is this: If you shoot me, you better shoot straight. There's nothing like a wounded animal.”

He Survived Nazi Concentration Camps – He Has A Message For Those Who Think America Runs Its Own

High-profile members of America’s media and political circles have used amplified, irresponsible rhetoric to describe President Trump’s immigration detainment policies. Terminology from Nazi Germany is now regularly used to describe American immigration policy in the public arena. Many have likened illegal alien detainment facilities on the Southern border to “concentration camps,” referred to Trump as a “Nazi” or “Hitler” and call Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents the “Gestapo.”

Democratic Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal likened America’s zero tolerance immigration policy to the “cattle cars of Nazi Germany.” Many pundits and politicians have echoed the sentiment.

David Tuck was born in Poland in 1929. He was enslaved by the Nazis and survived multiple concentration camps. In the wake of pundits and politicians comparing illegal immigrant detainment facilities in modern day America to Nazi concentration camps, Tuck felt compelled to speak out.

Today, Tuck has a message for those comparing American illegal immigrant detainment facilities to the Holocaust. “They know nothing of the Holocaust,” Tuck says. “Grow up. You can’t compare. Every time I hear it, it’s sickening.”

Police Warned Multiple Times About Annapolis Shooting Suspect; Gazette Employee Took Out Restraining Order

The suspect in Thursday's deadly newsroom shooting had been reported to the police on at least two occasions by journalists at the paper, and that a restraining order had been taken out against him, according to a former Capital Gazette employee.

Jarrod Ramos, 38, sued The Gazette and two of its journalists in 2012 for defamation over a July 2011 article about Ramos harassing and threatening a former High School classmate on Facebook.

“He seems to think there’s some sort of relationship here that does not exist,” said the woman in a harassment case she filed against Ramos. “I tried to back away from it, and he just started getting angry and vulgar to the point I had to tell him to stop.”

After his case against The Gazette was thrown out, a Twitter account associated with Ramos was used to send hostile, threatening tweetsat Gazette employees and the judge in his case. The account had remained dormant from January 2016 until Thursday - minutes before the shooting, when he wrote "Fuck you, leave me alone @judgemoylanfrnd" - to an unused Twitter account which appears to have been created by Ramos in 2016.

Reuters ‘Taking Action’ After Editor Blames Trump for Maryland Shooting

Thomson Reuters’ Breakingviews Global Editor Rob Cox could face punishment after blaming President Donald Trump for the deadly shooting at the Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland on Thursday.

“This is what happens when @realDonaldTrump calls journalists the enemy of the people,” Cox raged in a now-deleted tweet. “Blood is on your hands, Mr. President. Save your thoughts and prayers for your empty soul.”

Cox later conceded he jumped to conclusions by linking the shooting to the President.

“Fair enough to call me out for jumping to a conclusion about the motives here. Vilifying any category of people – journalists, migrants, conservatives, liberals etc – can incite violence,” he tweeted. “This one hits close to home. Genuinely saddened.”

The Reuters editor then apologized for his tweet and said his remarks aren’t consistent with the values of his employer.

“When I saw the news today that a mass shooter had targeted the employees of a newspaper in Maryland I responded emotionally and inappropriately,” Cox said.

Marketing Firm Leaked Personal Info Database With 340M Records

A data and marketing aggregating firm leaked a database of personal information "with pretty much every U.S. citizen in it" that was accessible by any hacker who knew where to look, according to security researcher Vinny Troia, Wired reported.

Troia, who owns a New York-based security firm, discovered the breach of nearly 340 million individual records stored on a publicly accessible server this month. The information was stored by data broker Exactis, based in Palm Coast, Florida, and appears to include private information on adults as well as businesses. The database is not reported to include credit card information or Social Security numbers.

The database does, however, include loads of personal information on individuals including "phone numbers, home addresses, email addresses and other highly personal characteristics for every name," according to Wired.

On the company's website, Exactis.com, the firm describes itself as a "leading compiler and aggregator of premium business and computer data," storing "over 3.5 billion records (updated monthly)."

The company compiles the data through cookies collected from different websites that record a user's internet movements. Other companies that track similar information include Epsilon, Acxiom, Palantir, Google, Amazon and Facebook, according to Market Watch.

Dinesh D'Souza Calls Democrats 'Party of Slave Plantations'

Attendees at a conference of Florida Republicans applauded and laughed during a speech in which a conservative provocateur said the Democratic Party was historically the party of the Ku Klux Klan and segregation.

Author and filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza referred to the Democratic Party as the "party of slave plantations" at the Sunshine Summit conference on Friday.

D'Souza also said the political platform of the Nazi Party in Germany would sound similar to that of the Democratic Party if the word "Jew" were replaced with "the top 1 percent."

Romaine Lettuce Outbreak Tied to Tainted Irrigation Canal

Tainted irrigation water appears to be the source of a national food poisoning outbreak linked to romaine lettuce, health officials said.

About 200 people were sickened in the E. coli outbreak and five people died. The outbreak, which started in the spring, is now over, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.

The illnesses in 36 states were previously traced to romaine lettuce grown in Yuma, Arizona, which provides most of the romaine sold in the U.S. during the winter.

On Thursday, officials said the outbreak strain of E. coli bacteria was found in an irrigation canal in the Yuma area. They are still investigating how the bacteria got into the canal and whether there was contamination elsewhere. They declined to give details about the canal, including its location, until a report can be completed.

Indiana protest over U.S. immigration policies draws crowd

RICHMOND, Ind. – More than 100 people rallied at the Richmond Municipal Building on a sweltering Saturday afternoon to demonstrate against existing, and recently modified, U.S. immigration policies.

About 150 people, many holding signs or donning t-shirts sharing their message, gathered at the city building for the 'Families Belong Together' rally, one of more than 600 around the country slated to take place over the weekend.

The rally, organized by Richmond's chapter of Indivisible, a progressive not-for-profit group, included speeches by everyday citizens, event organizers, many of whom called for change to current laws and treatment of immigrants.

Breaking News: Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, in a major reversal on immigration, agreed to tighten asylum policies to prevent her government's collapse

Ms. Merkel, who staked her legacy on welcoming hundreds of thousands of migrants into Germany, agreed on Monday to build camps for those seeking asylum and to tighten the border with Austria to save her government.

It was a spectacular turnaround for a leader who was once seen as the standard-bearer of the liberal European order but who has come under intense pressure at home over her migration policy.

Lies, Damned Lies, and Immigration Policy

The falsehoods that protect a political interest.

No policy debate is more filled with dishonesty and duplicity than immigration. The whine of political axes being ground is continually drowned out by Emma Lazarus sentimentalism, “we’re a nation of immigrants” clichés, promiscuous virtue-signaling, and the current weepy melodramas of children “ripped from their mother’s arms.” The whole sordid business exists, of course, to perfume some simple truths: Leviathan Dems want more voters and more dependents of the entitlement-industrial complex; Wall Street Republicans want plentiful cheap labor. The only thing missing are the facts about the reality of immigration both illegal and legal.

Start with imprecise numbers. We are told that there are currently 11 million illegal aliens in the U.S. Others say it’s closer to 20 to 25 million. The point is, nobody knows. We do know that close to a third of federal inmates are illegals. But we don’t know much about the rest, except for those illegal alien “dreamers” on television lamenting how they have to “live in the shadows.” We don’t know the extent of the costs to taxpayers of illegal immigration, even as we are told by amnesty supporters that they are net contributors to the economy through payroll and sales taxes. But they don’t tell us if that sum subtracts the $26 billion sent back to Mexico. We do know that taxpayers spend $2 billion a year to provide medical services to illegal aliens just in emergency room visits. According to Christopher Conover, state and local circumventions of federal prohibitions against health care for illegals are indirectly costing taxpayers $17 billion a year in care for illegal aliens. And that’s just health care. Some estimates put the total cost of illegal aliens at $89 billion, while others go as high $135 billion.

Protesters chanted “shut detention down!” as they marched in New York City’s Foley Square, while in El Paso, Texas, hundreds marched toward the Paso Del Norte (Santa Fe) Bridge that crosses into Juarez, Mexico. More than 600 events were planned across the country.

“We’re here because there are parents out there who can’t sing lullabies to their kids, so we’re going to sing on their behalf until they can sing together,” Tony-winning actor Lin-Manuel Miranda told a crowd in the nation’s capital.

“I’m hoping that decent human beings come together, and enough is enough, we’re taking out country back over, that evil is not going to prevail,” said Patricia Carlan, a grandmother of nine from Danville, Indiana, among hundreds who gathered at her state’s capital.

Saturday's rallies are getting funding and support from the American Civil Liberties Union, MoveOn.org, the National Domestic Workers Alliance and The Leadership Conference.

The Left needs to face reality: Trump is winning

To understand the madness gripping American leftists, try to see the world through their eyes. Presto, you’re now part of the raging resistance.

Like the Palestinians who mark Israel’s birth as their nakba, or tragedy, you regard Donald Trump’s 2016 victory as a catastrophe. It’s the last thing you think of most nights, and the first thing most mornings.

You can’t shake it or escape it. Whatever you watch, listen to or read, there are reminders — Donald Trump really is president.

You actually believe The New York Times is too nice to him, so you understand why a Manhattan woman urged a reporter there to stop covering Trump to protest his presidency.

And where the hell is Robert Mueller? He was supposed to save us from this nightmare — that’s what Chuck Schumer banked on. Well?

You spend your tax cut even as you rail against the man who made it happen. And you are pleased that cousin Jimmy finally got a job, though you repeat the daily devotional that Barack Obama deserves credit for the roaring economy.

Syria and Russia Create Humanitarian Catastrophe in Daraa

This morning’s key headlines from GenerationalDynamics.com:

Syria and Russia create humanitarian catastrophe in Daraa
Number displaced by Syrian and Russian bombing in Daara triples to 160,000

The assault that began on June 19 of the combination of the army of Syria’s president Bashar al-Assad and bombs from Russian warplanes is threatening a massive humanitarian disaster greater than the combined sizes of the humanitarian disasters at Aleppo and Ghouta.

Daraa is supposed to be part of a “de-escalation zone,” based on peace talks last year in Astana, Kazakhstan, between Russia, Iran, and Turkey. An outcome was that Russia and the U.S. agreed that the U.S. would oversee the ceasefire in Daraa.

Promises and agreements mean nothing to Russia and Syria, and they never intended to honor the ceasefire. The U.S. does usually honor its promises, but in this case has chosen not to intervene, rather than get pulled into yet another war, this time a full-scale war with Syria and Russia.

The founder and CEO of a 30-year-old Texas non-profit group tasked with housing illegal immigrant children is being challenged by media outlets for allegedly taking a $1.5 million salary in 2016 (latest report available). The group’s revenue increased more than ten-fold since 2008 as the numbers of unaccompanied minors and separated families increased over the year.

Southwest Key CEO and founder, Juan Sanchez, drew a salary of $1.5 million in 2016, according to a Fox News report. In addition to that, his wife, Jennifer, drew a $280,000 salary in 2015, the article states. She reportedly works as the non-profit’s vice president.

Fox News also reported that Sanchez’s daughter, Xiomara Goss, also joined Southwest Key as the non-profit’s fundraising director. Her salary has not yet been disclosed.

Sanchez’s reported 2016 salary of $1.5 million is up from the previous year’s salary of more than $780,000, Fox News reported.

WATCH: ’Professor Occupy’ Lisa Fithian Directs Open Borders DC Protest

Radical leftist activist Lisa Fithian was caught on video in Washington, DC Saturday, organizing and directing protesters at one of many open borders protests across the nation.

Breitbart News filmed Fithian heading up the “Families Belong Together” post-rally march down the streets of DC where she directed protesters to create a human blockade on a major street. She can be seen directing protesters while others involved appear to be coming to her for direction on what they can do.

Asked if Americans should fight for amnesty, Fithian replied, “Of course. This is a land of immigrants, it’s a land of indigenous people. Immigrants are indigenous people.”

“Money crosses borders, people should cross borders,” said Fithian. She then claimed that she was “just helping out” when asked by Breitbart News’ Matt Perdie if she was organizing the event. Despite her claim of just helping, she was caught on video.

While a town remembers World War II veterans, atheists sue to stop it

Last month, Albuquerque, N.M., resident Ralph Rodriguez Jr. died. One of the last “Battling Bastards of Bataan” survivors of a death march through the Philippines jungle, methodical malnutrition, and sadistic torture by the Japanese in World War II, he was 100 years old. In northern New Mexico’s high desert, bounded by the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, in the town of Taos, is a memorial to him and men with whom he served, including those whose remains were never recovered. Its cross drew the ire of a deep-pocketed anti-religion group, but help is on the way if the Supreme Court grants a petition filed last week.

On Dec. 8, 1941, hours after the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, Japanese forces invaded the Philippines, which were defended by the 515th Coastal Artillery Regiment, 200th Coastal Artillery Regiment, 192nd Tank Battalion, 194th Tank Battalion, and regular, national, and commonwealth groups of the Philippine Army. The 515th and 200th were New Mexicans sent to the Philippines because most spoke fluent Spanish. They fought bravely, but Japanese forces quickly overwhelmed them. On April 9, 1942, they surrendered.

Immediately, the Japanese sent survivors on the “Bataan Death March” to prison camps 65 miles away. Prisoners received little food or water and were tortured frequently. Those who could not keep up, or angered their captors, were summarily executed. The New Mexicans were singled out because the Japanese could not distinguish those of Mexican descent from the Filipinos, so they beat them brutally in frustration. A Filipino division of 350 was rounded up and every man beheaded. Of the estimated 80,000 who began the march, only 54,000 reached its end.

New Mexican War Mothers, using private donations — the town of Taos did no fundraising, planning, designing, or building — erected a memorial in Taos’ plaza to honor their loved ones. The memorial contains a brass plaque with the names of New Mexicans who died on the Bataan Death March and other Taos citizens who were killed in World War II, a sculpture of soldiers sustaining each other during the march, and the flags of the United States and New Mexico. A central feature is a Latin cross, below which the plaque with the soldiers’ names is affixed.

Last year, the Wisconsin-based Freedom from Religion Foundation wrote a letter to the town of Taos...

'We are Witnessing the Evolution of a Socialist Coup'

In her Opening Statement, Judge Jeanine Pirro said that the rise of socialism in America "has never been more clear."

"Today's demonstrations are part of an ongoing step-by-step agenda to change our country at its very core," she said, noting calls to abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and President Trump's zero-tolerance policy at the border.

Pirro called out New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon for straying "so far from the interests of the American people" in suggesting ICE's elimination.

Nixon also called ICE a "terrorist organization," according to NY1 News.

"The whole point of ICE is to protect the American people from illegals who would do us harm physically and financially," Pirro said.

Judge Jeanine said that the truth is Americans want immigration enforced, but the narrative of protests against its enforcement is "backwards."

She added that migrant family separation occurred before Trump took office and that before he did, "no one cared, objected or protested."

Report: FBI Refusing to Give Congress Material That Alleges Loretta Lynch Interfered in Clinton Investigation

The FBI had little problem leaking “unverified” dirt from Russian sources on Donald Trump and his campaign aides – and even basing FISA wiretaps on it. But according to the Justice Department’s inspector general, the bureau is refusing to allow even members of Congress with top security clearance to see intercepted material alleging political interference by President Obama’s attorney general, Loretta Lynch.

That material – which has been outlined in press reports – consists of unverified accounts intercepted from putative Russian sources in which the head of the Democratic National Committee allegedly implicates the Hillary Clinton campaign and Lynch in a secret deal to fix the Clinton email investigation.

“It is remarkable how this Justice Department is protecting the corruption of the Obama Justice Department,” said Tom Fitton, president of Washington-based watchdog Judicial Watch, which is suing for the material.

The information remains so secret that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz had to censor it from his recently released 500-plus-page report on the FBI’s investigation of Clinton, and even withhold it from Congress.

The contents of the secret intelligence document — which purport to show that Lynch informed the Clinton campaign she’d make sure the FBI didn't push too hard — were included in the inspector general’s original draft. But in the official IG report issued June 14, the information was tucked into a classified appendix to the report and entirely blanked out.

1,898 Refugees Admitted into the U.S. in June

A total of 1,898 refugees were admitted into the United States in June, bringing the number during the first nine months of FY 2018 to 16,229.

If the number of refugees admitted into the United States under the federal Refugee Admissions Program during the last three months of FY 2018 continue at the same rate, the total number of refugees admitted during the fiscal year will be less than 22,000. That will mark the lowest number of annual refugee admissions in the more than three decades since the program was established during the Jimmy Carter administration with The Refugee Act of 1980.

More than 40 percent of the refugees admitted in June –- 811 out of 1,898 -– came from a single country, the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Burma, with 305 admissions, was the second highest country of origin for refugees arriving in the United States in June. Ukraine, with 241 admissions, was the third highest country of origin for refugees.

2 Reasons Why the Media Will Drop Coverage of the Capital Gazette Shooting

On Thursday, four journalists and one staff member of the Capital Gazette were murdered in the newspaper’s Annapolis, Maryland, office.

While the event was initially widely covered by all major news outlets, the media is likely to quickly move on from the story, just like it did with the Santa Fe High School shooting, because it doesn’t fit the right narrative. (Unlike many of the Parkland students, the Santa Fe students didn’t respond to the tragedy by calling for gun control measures.)

That in itself is a shame, not just because there is much to learn from this tragedy, but also because the inspiring courage of the surviving journalists deserves more than a single news cycle.

Why It Will Go Away Quickly...

Surprise! US Taxpayers, Not Illinoisans, Will Cover Most Of The Public Funding For Obama-Land Fiasco In Chicago

Only now has it become apparent that federal taxpayers, not Illinoisans, will be funding most of the public support for the controversial Obama Center to be built on Chicago’s Southside.

Wirepoints has learned from administrative officials and legislators that at least $139 million — 80% of the public funding for the center — almost certainly will be reimbursed by the federal government. The project was already under attack for a number of other reasons, including a First Amendment “compelled speech” claim that it would force taxpayers to fund private, political advocacy.

The center was initially pitched as a privately funded presidential library. Many Illinois taxpayers therefore were angered to learn that at least $174 million was included in the state’s 1,246-page budget presented in May to rank and file General Assembly members only hours before their vote. Nor will the center be a presidential library.
However, it turns out that federal taxpayers will be the ones compelled to make the subsidy. The Illinois appropriation is for roadway and transit reconfigurations needed to accommodate the center, and 80% of such spending is generally reimbursable by the federal government. Wirepoints has confirmed with state officials that federal reimbursement of at least $139 million is highly likely.

Progressives Should Back Up Their Rhetoric on Immigration

Liberals, invite illegal aliens to live in your communities.

There are lots of short-term solutions to address the wave of immigrants who have swarmed the border in an effort to enter the U.S. illegally.

Why not use the thousands of currently half-empty residence halls at American colleges and universities to help house families from Central America and Mexico who await adjudication of their asylum claims?

The federal government could contract out to universities such as UCLA, Stanford, Cal-Berkeley, and large public universities in Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico to offer migrants temporary summertime shelter and sustenance. Law schools could offer pro bono legal counseling, and medical schools could offer health services.

Such multifaceted help from institutes of higher education would be particularly apt — and far better than using military bases. The vast housing, recreational, and meal-service infrastructures of colleges are often underutilized in summer. Campuses are also bastions of liberal activism, proud of both their diversity and their expertise in dealing with sensitive matters of acculturation.

What better first glimpse of America could be offered to immigrants than the energy, pastoral beauty, and hospitality of a quiet college quad or well-maintained residence hall?

It also makes no sense for college students to venture far and wide for internships when they could be enlisted on campus over the summer to tutor children from Central America and monitor their safety and treatment.

JUDGE PERMANENTLY STRIKES DOWN DISCRIMINATORY SPRINGFIELD ORDINANCE

Publishers Notes: PAY CLOSE ATTENTION OCEAN CITY.

SPRINGFIELD, MO – The ACLU of Missouri is pleased that a court has agreed to permanently eradicate Springfield’s 2015 discriminatory and unconstitutional ordinance, which made it illegal for women to show any portion of their breasts beneath the areola, but not men.

On September 15, the court entered a consent judgement that barred enforcement of the 2015 Springfield ordinance, making it illegal for any city employee to initiate, threaten, or pursue any charges of violating the 2015 ordinance.

“The city has no reason to treat people differently based on their sex other than that society has always done so,” said plaintiff Jessica Lawson. “In a place where we are all supposed to be treated as equals, that should not be good enough.”

The case started in September 2015 when in a 5-4 vote, the Springfield City Council passed a stricter indecent exposure law following a September rally by “Free the Nipple.” In October 2015 the ACLU of Missouri, on behalf of Free the Nipple, sued the city based on the new ordinance that made it illegal for women to show any portion of their breasts beneath the areola as an act of protest, but not men.

“This decision is step in the right direction for the city of Springfield,” said Tony Rothert, legal director of the ACLU of Missouri. “While we are disappointed the March 2016 sex discriminatory ordinance currently stands, elected officials will now think twice before treating men and women’s bodies differently under the law.”

The Race to Be Wrong First about Annapolis

The shooter’s identity had not even been released when many prominent voices on the left began blaming Trump for the attack.

If you’re at all normal, which is to say not hysterically progressive, your reaction to initial reports of a horrific newsroom shooting in Annapolis, Md., was probably to assume it was the act of a disgruntled ex-employee. That is, after all, the usual back story to workplace massacres. Or your mind might have turned to other common motivators for such acts — psychosis, unrequited male affection. If you’re conversant with local newspapering specifically, you might have considered the special worry that accompanies this job: the danger of one of your readers being enraged by your coverage of a micro-feud involving zoning permits or construction detours or school-board composition or some other niche matter in which passions run inversely proportional to historical importance.

On the #Resist left, though, a faction increasingly prone to put emotions before reason, indeed to mistake the former for the latter, the immediate response was: This is on President Trump. Trump is up to his wrists in blood. Hasn’t Trump been railing at the press this week and for three solid years since he first announced his presidential candidacy? Did he not dub the media the “enemy of the people” on Monday night in South Carolina?

The Left Is Dead Because It Is Rootless And Stands For NOTHING

Although much is made of the political and cultural left, few realize that this creature is long extinct. Once it stood for stronger unions, economic equality, better working conditions and organized labor. Such was its root, its reality, from which it has fully severed itself.

This means that the left now chases utopias — from multiculturalism to environmentalism and green initiatives, from the “rights” industry and intersectionality to gender-fluidity, from anarchism and communism to ever-morphing liberalism, from abortion and euthanasia to the cult of Trump-hatred by self-styled sophisticates. In each case, the logic is the same: Shoehorn reality into theory, and mold humanity into the confines of ideology.

And, because it is now rootless, the left is all things to many agendas, and thus stands for nothing. The only coherence it possesses is progressivism, whereby all that ails society is to be cured by economics and technology, whose anodynes are doled out by politicians in thrall to “experts,” who in turn cannot help but contradict each other.

For example, race and culture are declared inseparable (hence multiculturalism and its handmaid, cultural appropriation). But “race” is also said to be a social construct used to dominate the underprivileged. Which is it? How can cultures be the sacred property of ethnic groups when races don’t exist?

Maxine Waters Lashes Out: "If You Shoot Me, You Better Shoot Straight"

Rep Maxine Waters (D-CA) is blaming a series of death threats on comments made by President Trump over Twitter, following her call last weekend for the public to form into mobs and physically confront members of the Trump administration.

"If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere," said Waters.

Addressing a crowd in Los Angeles on Saturday, Waters, 79, packaged the entirety of her detractors into the same category as would-be KKK assassins in the same breath, and then insinuated that if they don't successfully take her out she would become "like a wounded animal."

“I know that there are those who are talking about censuring me, talking about kicking me out of Congress, talking about shooting me, talking about hanging me,” Waters told the crowd in Los Angeles.

“All I have to say is this, if you shoot me you better shoot straight, there’s nothing like a wounded animal.”

Trump says liberals confronting officials in public better 'take it easy'

President Trump said liberals who increasingly are confronting administration officials in public “better just take it easy.”

In an interview Sunday with Fox News, Maria Bartiromo asked the president how he can help to reduce the hostile political rhetoric and confrontations in the U.S.

“Some of them do it for publicity, I hate to say it,” he said of the left.

“I hope the other side realizes that they’d better just take it easy. Because some of the language used, some of the words, even some the radical ideas, I really think they’re bad for the country. I think they’re actually very dangerous for the country.”

Student Highlights 'Shocking' Backlash After Classmate's Pro-Trump Comment During Debate

A California high school student said that a pro-Trump classmate received backlash after he voiced his support for a border wall during a class debate.

Shaina Chen, 17, said Saturday on "Fox & Friends" that during a debate about race in politics, the classmate stated: "We should build the wall."

Chen said the suggestion was met with "awkward silence" from the rest of her class.

She also detailed what happened in a New York Post opinion piece, in which she said students insulted the classmate and called him names.

Chen said Saturday that she didn't expect the reaction from her classmates, being that they attend a "diverse" school near liberal San Francisco.

"Just to have that happen, I was so surprised," Chen said.

"There was discomfort in the hallway, but I noticed it was also the first time people continued a debate after class was over. In fact, this single statement led to weeks of discussion on race and the right degree of government involvement in race-related issues."

WATCH: #WalkAway Movement to Abandon Liberalism Goes Viral

The #Walkaway movement that began with a popular Facebook video featuring a gay hairdresser in New York City explaining why he was leaving the Democratic Party has quickly morphed into a major force on social media and beyond.

According to an article last Thursday in the Epoch Times, some five million people on Facebook and YouTube have seen the groundbreaking video showing a “very handsome gay man” who describes his awakening to the inanities of liberalism and the Democratic Party.

“Once upon a time, I was a liberal. Well, to be honest, less than a year ago, I was still a liberal,” begins Brandon Straka, the unlikely face of the new “silent minority” of Americans.

“I reject a system which allows an ambitious, misinformed and dogmatic mob to suppress free speech, create false narratives, and apathetically steamroll over the truth,” he says. “I reject hate.”

“These are the reasons why I became a liberal. And these are the same reasons why I am now walking away.”

Straka published his original #WalkAway video on May 26, and since then his life “has been overtaken by a tidal wave,” the Epoch Times reports.

Journalists Spread Conspiracy Theory That DHS Document Contains Secret Nazi Code

A number of liberal Twitter users and journalists spread a conspiracy theory Thursday insisting a Department of Homeland Security document contained a secret Nazi code.

In February, DHS put out a press releaseentitled "We Must Secure The Border And Build The Wall To Make America Safe Again," a fact-sheet making the case for President Donald Trump's proposed border wall. "When it comes to stopping drugs and illegal aliens across our borders, border walls have proven to be extremely effective," it argued.

The press release went largely unnoticed until months later, when a tweet accusing the document of being a dog whistle for Nazis garnered nearly 7,000 retweets. The viral claim suggested the headline was a reference to "Fourteen Words," common white supremacist credos. The most widely known variation states, "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children."

"This is an actual story on an official government website with a 14-word headline starting with ‘we must secure,'" Twitter user Lauie Voss noted. "This is not an accident. There are actual Nazis-who-call-themselves-Nazis at DHS."

Citizen Alert-Warning Siren System

The warning system is designed to alert residents and visitors of Wicomico County about an imminent hazard to include weather-related danger such as a tornado warning. Wicomico’s siren system consisting of 14 sirens located at local fire departments and three (3) maintained by the Wicomico County Department of Emergency Services (DES) can be activated for specific affected areas in the county. In the event of an imminent hazard the alert tone – which differs from fire station alarms – will sound for a sustained 2 minutes. They are tested at 6:30 pm the first Monday of every month for 10 seconds. When the sirens sound, citizens should seek shelter immediately and then tune into local news media for additional information. Citizens should not call 9-1-1 to determine the hazard causing the activation.

Additional Information concerning the sirens and other emergency preparedness topics can be found on the department’s web page at www.wicomicocounty.org/ES.
