Accident On Rt. 50 In West Ocean City

Ocean City Fire EMS dispatched to the area just east of Rt. 611 on Rt. 50 in the area of Dumsers Dairyland for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Vehicle vs. a bicycle. Use caution in the area.

    Too many bicyclists are riding facing traffic - almost took out 3 different riders last week.

    The police ought to stop them and fine them for riding on the wrong side of the road.

    Try watching bicyclists on Coastal Hwy. Earphone in (can't hear) and Euoropean laws instilled (can't see why you didn't ....). Instead of giving away free lights, the OCPD should sponsor a FREE (but mandatory) safety briefing.

    I'll give an example: Has anyone ever seen a crosswalk MARKED as a crosswalk? Of course not.... People simply don''t know.

      Part of the J1 visa application is passing and understanding these basic laws... also being from a different country doesn't mean you are mentally challenged. Common sense ?
