Original Scandal: Federal Judge Denies Release Of Draft Hillary Whitewater Indictment
A federal judge has officially denied a FOIA request from Judicial Watch seeking a draft of a criminal indictment of Hillary Clinton prepared by prosecutors back in the mid-90s related to her involvement in the Whitewater scandal. According toPolitico, U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton, a Bush appointee, ruled that Clinton's "substantial privacy interest" outweighed any public interest in disclosure and that the material was protected from disclosure by a court rule enforcing grand jury secrecy. The 30-page opinion from Walton (attached in its entirety below) argues that the draft indictment would not "shed light on any agency's performance of its statutory duties, but potentially shed light solely on the character of Mrs. Clinton, independent to her position as a public official, which is not the objective of the FOIA."
"The fact that information about the independent counsel’s investigation and potential indictment of Mrs. Clinton is readily available to the public does not extinguish Mrs. Clinton’s privacy interest," Walton wrote. "Although an individual’s interests in privacy fade when the information involved already appears on the public record'...'the fact that an event is not wholly private does not mean that an individual has no interest in limiting disclosure or dissemination of [the requested] information."
"While Mrs. Clinton was first lady of the United States at the time of the investigation, she was neither part of a government agency nor a government official when the events that were the subject of the independent counsel’s investigation occurred, which led to the drafting of the proposed indictments," the judge wrote."Disclosure of the drafts of the proposed indictment would not shed light on any agency’s performance of its statutory duties, but potentially shed light solely on the character of Mrs. Clinton, independent to her position as a public official, which is not the objective of the FOIA."

Maryland Motorists: Stay Alert for Deer!
Cooling temperatures, colorful foliage and unpredictable wildlife ─ all signs that the fall season is upon us. As such, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources urges motorists to stay alert for deer and other wildlife this time of year as these animals seek out food supplies and mates.
“Deer activity will peak during their breeding season, which occurs from mid-October through November,”Wildlife and Heritage Service Director Paul Peditto said. “Deer often travel without regard for roads or traffic during this time period. Motorists need to be especially alert from sunset to dawn as deer are more active during this time.”
Motorists are reminded to:
- Slow down if a deer crosses the road ahead. Deer often travel in groups and others may be nearby.
- Watch the shoulder. Be alert for deer standing along the shoulder as they may suddenly move into the roadway. Slow down and sound your horn to scare them away.
- Gradually brake to avoid hitting a deer but do not swerve as this may cause you to lose control of the vehicle, increasing the severity of the accident.
- Be particularly attentive in the early morning and evening periods;
- Stay alert and slow down in areas where deer crossing signs are posted. These indicate locations of frequent deer activity.
Bill Cllinton ducks question about wife Hillary's alleged cheating
Bill Clinton ducked a question Tuesday about Donald Trump's allegation that his wife cheated on him.
Clinton twice ignored a reporter asking about the insult at a restaurant in Marietta, Ohio.
The dodge came after DailyMail.com asked if the very personal attacks Trump's been hurling at his wife on the trail - and threatening to bring up in the next presidential debate - are 'inappropriate.'
The former president, whose affair with a White House intern nearly led his removal from office, looked up at the cameras, shook his head, and scoffed before answering.
'Well, he's been making those attacks, from the beginning of his campaign. So I don't think that's anything new about that, and he should just - look he should run his campaign, and she'll run hers.'

Pew: Most Americans Don’t Believe in ‘Scientific Consensus’ on Climate Change
Americans also skeptical about expertise of climate scientists
Nearly three-quarters of Americans don’t trust that there is a large “scientific consensus” amongst climate scientists on human behavior being the cause of climate change, according to an in-depth survey on “the politics of climate” released Tuesday by Pew Research Center.
According to the survey, only 27 percent of Americans agree that “almost all” climate scientists say that human behavior is mostly responsible for climate change, while 35 percent say that “more than half” of climate scientists agree on this. An additional 35 percent of those surveyed say that fewer than half (20%) or almost no (15%) climate scientists believe that human behavior is the main contributing factor in climate change.
Pew contrasted this to the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which “stated in the forward to its 2013 report, ‘the science now shows with 95 percent certainty that human activity is the dominant cause of observed warming since the mid-20th century.’”
Additionally, Americans were skeptical about the expertise of climate scientists.

Utah Man Charged $40 for ‘Skin-to-Skin’ Contact With Newborn
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Ryan Grassley discovered a perplexing charge on a hospital bill for the recent birth of his son: Nearly $40 for “skin to skin” contact after his wife gave birth via cesarean section.
Amused by the bill, he posted a picture of it on Reddit this week and commented: “I had to pay $39.35 to hold my baby after he was born.”
The post set off a flurry of outrage and consternation on Reddit. Nearly 12,000 people commented, with many sharing their own stories of what they said were bizarre or ridiculous medical charges.
“A lot of people like to be shocked and outraged by things,” Grassley said in an interview Wednesday. “Today, It happened to be my hospital bill.”

Sylvia Thompson On Obamas Legacy ( written by a black woman)
THIS IS WHAT SHE HAS TO SAY:
To the many gullible souls out there who truly think that Barack Obama is "legacy building" in his all-out assault onAmerica, I implore you to bow out of the conversation because you are not seeing clearly.
The termlegacy carries positive connotations of something bequeath that is to the receiver's benefit.Everything that Barack Obama does is calculated to destroy America, which he despises. This man no more cares about legacy than he fears being properly prosecuted by the white political leaders whose responsibility it is to remove him from office.
I focus on white leaders, because whites are still in the majority and they fill the majority of political offices. If the majority of political operatives were of some other ethnicity, I would lodge my complaint against that group. Ethnicity is an issue only because Obama is half-black and he uses that fact to intimidate guilt-conflicted white people. Otherwise, he would have been impeached and likely in prison for treason by now.
Barack Obama's sole aim has been, since he first entered politics and continues as he winds down this presidency, the complete destruction of America as it was founded.
It is an insult to the intelligence of all Americans who must listen to elitist pundits on FOX NEWS and elsewhere, and political drones in either party endeavor to make Obama's behavior fit a pattern of normalcy. Attributing his destructive policies to "legacy building" is either self-delusion on the part of the people who make that claim or cowardliness.
This is my take.
Obama's nuclear deal with Iran has nothing to do with legacy but rather to enable a Muslim nation to wage nuclear war with America and Israel the two nations that he most despises. Does anyone wonder why Russians praise Vladimir Putin despite what the rest of the world might think of him? Putin cares about his country, that's why.
Obama despises the American military because traditionally it has been a mainstay of America's strength, and our strength infuriates him.
He could not care less about a legacy of making the forces more diverse. Besides, PresidentTruman diversified the military as much as it should be when he integrated it. Obama's objective is its destruction.
CELEBRATING MARYLAND MANUFACTURERS
With 3,680 manufacturing businesses supporting a workforce of 103,630, there’s a lot to celebrate about Maryland’s manufacturing industry. Earlier this week, Governor Larry Hogan stressed the importance of the manufacturing industry by proclaiming October as Maryland Manufacturing Month. Additionally, this Friday, Oct. 7, is Manufacturing Day, a nationwide celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers.
In celebration of Maryland’s manufacturing industry, which generated $19.57 billion in gross state product in 2014, here’s a snapshot of some of the new and expanding manufacturing businesses in Maryland.

Obama Admin Secretly Facilitated Iranian Ballistic Missile Program
The Obama administration misled journalists and lawmakers for more than nine months about a secret agreement to lift international sanctions on a critical funding node of Iran’s ballistic missile program, as part of a broader “ransom” package earlier this year that involved Iran freeing several U.S. hostages, according to U.S. officials and congressional sources apprised of the situation.
The administration agreed to immediately lift global restrictions on Iran’s Bank Sepah—a bank the Treasury Department described in 2007 as the “linchpin of Iran’s missile procurement”–eight years before they were to be lifted under last summer’s comprehensive nuclear agreement. U.S. officials initially described the move as a “goodwill gesture” to Iran.
The United States also agreed to provide Iran $1.7 billion in cash to release or drop charges against 21 Iranians indicted for illegally assisting Tehran. Full details of this secret agreement were kept hidden from Congress and journalists for more than nine months, multiple sources told the Washington Free Beacon.
State Department officials who spoke to the Free Beacon now say the United States “already made” the decision to drop U.S. sanctions, but declined to address multiple questions aimed at clarifying the discrepancy between past and current explanations for dropping international sanctions.

NYC’s ‘Little Church That Stood’ plans 250th anniversary
NEW YORK (AP) — Manhattan’s oldest church is getting ready to celebrate its 250-year history, which includes worshippers ranging from George Washington to those who searched for victims following the Sept. 11 attacks.
St. Paul’s Chapel in Lower Manhattan is best known today as the “Little Church that Stood,” having survived unscathed as the World Trade Center towers came down across the street.
A months long interior renovation of the Episcopal sanctuary will be unveiled on its anniversary date Oct. 30, along with a “9/11 Chapel of Remembrance” area for quiet reflection that also contains artifacts of the attacks.
Tuesday, a weather-resistant statue of St. Paul was to be lowered by crane to a spot outside the chapel where the original had stood. The original has been restored and will be moved inside and unveiled on the anniversary date.

Bill Clinton’s airport run-in with Loretta Lynch was no accident
In his new book, “Guilty As Sin” (Regnery), out Tuesday, Edward Klein claims officials in the Obama administration decided before the first witness was interviewed that Hillary Clinton would not face prosecution over the handling of classified email. An excerpt:
Bill Clinton’s private jet was cleared for takeoff and was taxiing toward the active runway at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport when a Secret Service agent informed him that Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s plane was coming in for a landing.
“Don’t take off!” Bill barked.
As his plane skidded to a halt and then headed back to its parking space, Bill grabbed a phone and called an old friend — one of his most trusted legal advisers.

Bob Culver Kicks Off Employee Campaign To Collect 3,000 Pounds of Food
SALISBURY – Wicomico County Executive Bob Culver will be kicking off the “Feeding Our Neighbors” challenge among County government employees on Friday with a goal to collect 3,000 pounds of non-perishable food for the Maryland Food Bank.
This is the second year the County has partnered with the Maryland Food Bank to help collect food during the holiday season. Last year, County employees collected 2,317 pounds of food which provided 2,780 meals. The campaign will run through December 16th, 2016.
The Maryland Food Bank estimates that 46,000 people living on the Eastern Shore are considered to be “food insecure”, meaning they are not sure where they will get their next meal. One third of those are children.
“Last year, I challenged County employees to collect one ton of food (2,000 pounds) and many said it couldn’t be done. But we exceeded that goal! So this year, we’re upping it to 3,000 pounds which will equate to 3,600 meals and I know we can do it. There is a real need and I’m proud that our employees step up to help fill this pressing need.”
The public is invited to participate, and can drop off non-perishable food items at several locations: the Government Office Building, the Department of Corrections, the Roads Department, the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, and the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Department.
All food will be donated to the Maryland Food Bank’s Eastern Shore Branch. The Food Bank is a nonprofit hunger relief organization, leading the movement to end hunger throughout Maryland. The Eastern Shore Branch provides food to 165 soup kitchens, pantries, and other community-based partners in the region.

Hillary Clinton's hired thugs quieted Bill Clinton's mistresses
Through the years one of my favorite sallies against the Clintons has been to refer to Hillary Clinton as “Bruno.” At times readers have asked, “Why do you call her Bruno?” It is because there has always been an atmosphere of thuggishness about her. Another way of putting it is that time and again she acts as though the rule of law does not pertain to her. For instance, on the matter of the many women who have willingly or unwillingly been pulled into her husband’s lubricious ambit. How many times have you read or heard a quote attributed to her where she vows to “crush” a woman whom Bill rutted with or to “crucify” her. One even reads such quotes in the mainstream media (MSM). Yet she is portrayed as a champion of women.
Just last week I read quotes full of menace from Hillary in The Washington Post and this week in the venerable New York Times. Were similar quotes ever attributed to Nancy Reagan or to any other first lady? But then none of those first ladies was married to Bill.
Now, of course, today the matronly Hillary is long past her prime as a plausible Bruno. As she breaks out in coughing spells, and has to be propped up at the lectern in her heavily cushioned pantsuits, it is easy for us to have forgotten the intimidating specter she struck for such woman as Gennifer Flowers, Kathleen Willey, the young Monica or even Juanita Broaddrick, who allegedly was raped by smiling Bill. Yet in decades past she was a highly volatile figure and, in fact, posed a threat to White House personnel. There are all those witnesses who have reported seeing her bean her husband or members of the Secret Service with a book or a lamp. I think even the loyal George Stephanopoulos reported her aggression.

Arm transplant recipient says he can now hold fiancee's hand
BOSTON —A former Marine sergeant who underwent a double arm transplant said Wednesday that the best part about having arms again is that he can hold his fiancee's hand and pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a chef.
Retired Sgt. John Peck , who lost all four limbs as the result of an explosion of a homemade bomb in Afghanistan in May 2010, underwent 14 hours of surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital in August. The procedure involved 60 doctors, nurses and other medical personnel.
His arms are scarred and move awkwardly, but every day with the new limbs is better, he said at a news conference at the hospital. He is learning to dress himself, brush his teeth and feed himself all over again.
The first time he held fiancee Jessica Paker's hand after the surgery, he couldn't even feel it, but it still meant the world.

Colts Release Antonio Cromartie Two Days After He Kneels for National Anthem
Indianapolis Colts cornerback Antonio Cromartie took a knee for the national anthem on Sunday. On Tuesday, the Colts released the veteran pass defender.
Cromartie crouched down on a knee and raised a black-power fist for the playing of “The Star Spangled Banner” in London. Then he rose to his feet for “God Save the Queen.”
But his play during the game, rather than his antics before it, likely led to his release.
The Colts lost the game to the longtime divisional doormat Jacksonville Jaguars 30-27. Jaguars QB Blake Bortles threw for 207 yards and two touchdowns. He ran for another score. Cromartie made four tackles at the Wembley Stadium matchup.
“The four-time Pro Bowler struggled throughout and his play with the Colts was summed up by one series during their Week 4 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London,” ESPN’s Mike Wells writes. “Cromartie was beaten twice and called for two penalties on a drive where the Jaguars managed to get a field goal as the first half came to an end. Cromartie was benched in favor of Rashaan Melvin in the second half.”

Conflicts Of Interes
Fed Governor Lael Brainard has donated to Clinton’s campaign and is widely viewed as a potential Clinton pick for Treasury secretary. Yellen hesitated and then demurred when Representative Scott Garrett of New Jersey asked whether Brainard would have a conflict of interest if she were indeed in talks with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign about a position. The election takes place Nov. 8.
“I would have to consult my counsel, I’m not aware that that’s a conflict,” Yellen said in testimony to the House Financial Services Committee in Washington, while rejecting Garrett’s suggestion that the U.S. central bank has a political bias.

Imagine how higher management would feel about you reacting in the same situation. Goldman has been known to lay off its employees for even donating to the Trump campaign. So a similar situation would be you, an employee of a firm, donating to a political campaign, and later getting a promotion as a result of that donation.
Of course, Lael Brainard herself has a long history of working in the executive branch to begin with. She initially served in Bill Clinton’s administration, and was appointed Undersecretary of the Treasury for International Affairs early in Barack Obama’s presidency.
Tim Kaine Left Hillary's Russian Dealings Out Of The Debate
Sen. Tim Kaine conveniently left out Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s ties to a Russian state-owned energy company when attacking his Republican opponent at Tuesday night’s debate.
“It is clear he has business dealings with Russia and is very connected to Putin,” Kaine said of Republican nominee Donald Trump’s business dealings, according to the debate transcript. “The Trump campaign management team had to be fired a month or so ago because of those shadowy connections.”
Kaine repeatedly attacked Trump and Republican vice presidential nominee Gov. Mike Pence for calling Russian President Vladimir Putin a “better leader than president Obama.”
But Kaine left out an inconvenient fact about his running mate. Specifically, reports Clinton’s non-profit took money from a Canadian businessman looking to cut a deal with Rosatom — Russia’s state-owned nuclear energy company.

Undecided Voters Turned Off By Tim Kaine's Interruptions
Undecided voters in Ohio who watched Tuesday’s vice presidential debate were turned off by Democratic running mate Tim Kaine’s repeated interruptions of Republican Mike Pence, according to a focus group conducted by pollster Frank Luntz.
Luntz live tweeted results during the debate at Longwood University. “Mike Pence is winning because Tim Kaine cannot debate like an adult without interruptions,” he wrote.
“Kaine is interrupting way too much,” Luntz tweeted, adding: “The focus group wants the moderator to lay down the law and shut him up until it’s his turn.”
The focus group, Luntz said, was comprised of 29 undecided Ohio voters, including people leaning towards both Trump and Clinton.

Who Knows How Best to Raise Your Kids: You or the Government?
Was this a warning shot? Or just a misinformed opinion? Homeschooling parents want to know.
Recently, U.S. Secretary of Education John King, while speaking at a press conference, remarked that although some homeschool situations are just fine, in general, “Students who are homeschooled are not getting kind of the rapid instructional experience they would get in school.”
King also said that part of the school experience is learning how to deal with and build relationships with peers and teachers—implying that homeschoolers don’t get this kind of experience.
Now, before I go on, in the interest of full disclosure, I’ll tell you that my wife and I homeschool our three daughters. To be specific, we’re part of a community of homeschooling families with a hybrid model that shares resources and that journeys together. We think our daughters are receiving a first-rate education. I say that not just so you know I’ve got a horse in the race, but because my wife and I have personal experience. We know this world. We live in it.
But back to the Secretary’s comments..

Illegal Voters Uncovered in Philly Are 'Tip of the Iceberg'
Law firm uncovers illegal immigrants, convicted felons on rolls — and some have voted in crucial swing state
At least 86 non-citizens have been registered voters in Philadelphia since 2013, and almost half — 40 — even voted in at least one recent election, according to a legal group that sued to get voter registration records.
Joseph Vanderhulst, an attorney with the Public Interest Legal Foundation, noted Philadelphia knows about those 86 illegal voters only because officials received specific requests — in almost every case from the voters themselves — to remove the names from the rolls. He said there is no way to know how many non-citizens might be registered to vote in Philadelphia, let alone in the rest of politically crucial Pennsylvania.
“This is just the tip of the iceberg,” he said. “Who knows how many are on and don’t ask to be taken off.”

After Tim Kaine Loses VP Debate, New Doubts About Hillary
Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) lost badly to Indiana Gov. Mike Pence in Tuesday night’s vice presidential debate — despite having home field advantage in Farmville, Virginia — raising new doubts about Hillary Clinton.
Those doubts are twofold: first, about her decision to choose so weak a candidate, who seemed unable to answer basic policy questions; and second, about Clinton’s health, since if her medical troubles are as bad as feared, Kaine may be taking over at some point if she is elected.
Kaine could not stop interrupting Pence, at times sounding high-pitched and shrill, at times whining and defensive. Pence was cool and even-tempered — presidential, in other words, while Kaine seemed to be playing cable news pundit.

Police group accuses CNN of deceptive edit of Charlotte shooting
A law enforcement group is charging CNN edited video of the racially charged police shooting of a Charlotte, N.C., man to make officers look bad.
Blue Lives Matter, an organization comprised of active or retired law enforcement officers, claims the cable news network edited video of the Sept. 20 fatal shooting of Keith Scott to cut out police ordering him to “drop the gun,” fueling claims Scott, a black man, was unarmed when he was shot by Officer Brentley Vinson. Although Vinson is black, the incident was the latest police shooting around the nation to spur violent protests and rioting.
"The editing was clearly intended to give viewers the impression that Scott wasn't armed. By intentionally excluding information to promote the false narrative that the officer-involved shooting of Keith Scott was unjustified, CNN directly contributed towards inciting violence and destruction in the Charlotte riots,” Blue Lives Matter said in a statement. “Innocent citizens were hurt during the Charlotte riots, but editing like this also incites violence against police officers long after the riots are over.”
The video in question was taken by Scott’s widow, Rakeyia Scott. In it, she can be heard saying, “He has no weapon.”

DHS Has No Investigation Into Official For Speeding Up Visas
Both the Department of Homeland Security and the Office of Government Ethics have refused to fully pursue an ethics investigation against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s brother, Tony Rodham, and now-Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, despite findings that DHS official Alejandro Mayorkas gave preferential visa treatment to a company founded by Rodham.
This is likely a breach of federal law.
The DHS’s inspector general determined in 2015 that Deputy Secretary Mayorkas, who at the time served as director of Citizenship and Immigration Services, had improperly involved himself in fast-tracking visa applications under the E-5 investor visa program for Rodham and McAullife’s company GreenTech Automotive, which McAullife was involved in four years before he became the governor of Virginia in 2013.

Clinton: I don’t recall joking about droning Julian Assange
Responding to unconfirmed allegations circulating on right-wing websites, Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that she does not remember ever joking about targeting the founder of WikiLeaks in a drone strike.
The conservative website True Pundit cited anonymous “State Department sources” in a report on Sunday to claim that Clinton in 2010 suggested to some staff members that the U.S. “drone” Julian Assange of WikiLeaks, whose website had embarrassed the U.S. when it published diplomatic cables, among other documents.

You’ve Been Mispronouncing These Words Your Whole Life
Language is tricky. Not only are there multiple ways to spell the same word, but there are silent letters, emphasis on certain syllables, and basically a bunch of ways to say common everyday words wrong.
After all, everything sounds right in your head until you say it out loud and everyone looks at you funny.
Hopefully this will help you at least a little bit. Definition: A smoked hot chili pepper used especially in Mexican cooking.
Wrong: Chip – oat – lay
Right: Cheep – oat – lay

Maryland Man Charged With Removal of Classified Materials and Theft of Government Property
A criminal complaint has been filed charging Harold Thomas Martin III, 51, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, with theft of government property and unauthorized removal and retention of classified materials by a government employee or contractor.
Assistant Attorney General for National Security John P. Carlin, U.S. Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein for the District of Maryland and Special Agent in Charge Gordon B. Johnson of the FBI’s Baltimore Field Office made the announcement today.
According to the affidavit filed in support of the criminal complaint, Martin was a contractor with the federal government and had a top secret national security clearance. Martin was arrested late on Aug. 27, 2016. The complaint was filed on Aug. 29, 2016 and unsealed today.
On Aug. 27, 2016, search warrants were executed at Martin’s residence in Glen Burnie, Maryland, including two storage sheds, as well as upon his vehicle and person. During execution of the warrants, investigators located hard-copy documents and digital information stored on various devices and removable digital media. A large percentage of the materials recovered from Martin’s residence and vehicle bore markings indicating that they were property of the U.S. government and contained highly classified information, including Top Secret and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). In addition, investigators located property of the U.S. government with an aggregate value in excess of $1,000, which Martin allegedly stole.

Hillary unveils her ultra-exciting superweapon designed to attract millennials: Al Gore
Elderly throwback candidate enlists elderly throwback husband's elderly throwback VP.
It's no secret that Hillary Clinton is throwing everything at the wall, hoping that something will "stick" with millennials. She desperately needs their support but, so far, they're less enthusiastic than one of those panda bears that won't have sex to save its own species. Something has to be done, so Hillary has unveiled her secret millennial-attracting weapon.
You may have heard the thunderous sound of its footsteps as it approaches. Like a dinosaur - a creature out of time emerging from the mists of the primordial past - Al Gore is approaching...
That's right, former Vice President Al Gore. Yes, the now-bloated snake oil salesman who made a vast fortune hyping the end of the world. He is Hillary's secret weapon.
We first heard about this last night, in a tentative report from Andrea Mitchell:

Another debate, another biased moderator
We’ve been here before. The alarm clock sounds and it’s another biased debate presided over by the supposed “neutral” media. Yes, it was a “Groundhog Day” debate Tuesday night at Longwood University. That’s where CBS anchor and debate moderator Elaine Quijano did her best Lester Holt impersonation (or was it Candy Crowley or maybe CNBC) – throwing hard questions mostly at Republican Gov. Mike Pence and allowing Sen. Tim Kaine to interrupt at will.
Quijano turned left from the very first question – citing 1988 liberal, Democratic vice presidential candidate Lloyd Bentsen’s comment about the responsibility of being vice president. She recalled that he said, “if tragedy should occur, the vice president has to step in without any margin for error.” That set the stage perfectly and signaled viewers that the debate was to be seen consistently from the left. And Quijano didn’t disappoint.
By a factor of 8-to-1, Quijano peppered Pence with tough question after tough question. She reserved just one for Kaine.
For conservatives, it was like Groundhog Day. If viewers saw their shadow, that will mean slightly more than one month more of the most-biased media election in human history..

Politico: Tim Kaine Took ‘Gifts’ as Virginia Governor Like Bob McDonnell
In June, Isaac Arnsdorfwrote at Politico about the troubling “gifts” Virginia Senator Tim Kaine received while governor of Virginia, noting that “similar presents” led to corruption charges former Virginia governor Bob McDonnell.
Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine took advantage of the state’s lax gift laws to receive an $18,000 Caribbean vacation, $5,500 in clothes and a trip to watch George Mason University play in the NCAA basketball Final Four during his years as lieutenant governor and governor, according to disclosures he filed.
Now a leading contender to be Hillary Clinton’s running mate, Kaine reported more than $160,000 in gifts from 2001 to 2009, mostly for travel to and from political events and conferences, according to disclosures compiled by the Virginia Public Access Project. The givers included political supporters, a drug company that soon after bought a facility in Virginia, and Dominion, the state’s biggest provider of electricity.
While legal under Virginia’s unusually permissive ethics rules, the gifts could become attack-ad fodder after similar presents led to corruption charges for Gov. Bob McDonnell, whose conviction the Supreme Court overturned Monday. Republicans could also use the records to portray Kaine as part of the self-dealing establishment in a cycle animated by hostility toward the political class.

When It Comes To Celebrating And Promoting Women, Trump Has Always Walked the Walk
Let’s be clear: Donald Trump is no “feminist.”
He probably hasn’t read Simone DeBeauvoir’s The Second Sex. He’s unlikely to have seen Eve Ensler’s “Vagina Monologues.”
But you don’t have to be a feminist to esteem and respect women. Donald Trump clearly respects women. He’s proven it time and again in the most significant ways possible.
Consider his hiring practices. Earlier this year, The Washington Post sent out a female reporter to try to get dirt on Trump from women that had worked for him.

FBI Destroyed Clinton Staffer Cheryl Mills' Laptop After Limited Search
Peculiar new details have come to light regarding the immunity deals given to Cheryl Mills, Hillary Clinton's former chief of staff, and Heather Samuelson, an ex-campaign staffer.
According to Fox News sources, side-deals were cut in addition to Mills' and Samuelson's overall immunity deals. One side-deal dictated that the FBI only be allowed to review documents on Mills' and Samuelson's laptops generated prior to January 31, 2015--over a month before Clinton's private email server became public knowledge. Even stranger, in a second side-deal, the FBI was ordered to destroy the laptops after their search was complete.
Is this real life?
Congressman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, sent a letter to Attorney General Loretta Lynch in which he asks two salient questions:
"Doesn’t the willingness of Ms. Mills and Ms. Samuelson to have their laptops destroyed by the FBI contradict their claim that the laptops could have been withheld because they contained non-relevant, privileged information? If so, doesn’t that undermine the claim that the side agreements were necessary?"

How the FBI wound up destroying evidence
Welcome to the Twilight Zone: Under immunity deals given to two key Hillary Clinton aides in the e-mail probe, the FBI wound up destroying evidence.
Once they were done searching two laptops used to store Clinton’s e-mails, the agents had to destroy them. They also had to limit their search to include nothing after January 2015 — that is, before news broke of the whole home-brewed-server business.
Meaning the FBI investigation had that much less chance of stumbling across fresh proof of obstruction of justice.

Teachers Union Claims The ‘Trump Effect’ Is Warping Kids’ Minds
Back when she was teaching sixth grade in Utah, Lily Eskelsen GarcÃa liked to use the presidential election as a civics lesson every four years. She would assign her students to watch the debates and interview their parents about the candidates.
But today, she says she wouldn’t urge them to tune in for the hate-fueled debacle that is 2016.
“I’m not so sure I’d really want my kids to watch this debate,” said Eskelsen GarcÃa, now president of the National Education Association, on a call with reporters Monday. “It’s really kind of disturbing what they’re hearing out there.”
The NEA is the largest labor union in the country and represents 3 million educators, roughly three-quarters of them women. It has endorsed Hillary Clinton for president, and now it’s leading a campaign that portrays her Republican opponent, Donald Trump, as a schoolyard bully who’s filling children with hate.

Hillary: ‘I don’t recall’ pushing execution of WikiLeaks founder
Report said Clinton asked State Department: 'Can't we just drone this guy?'
Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton says she doesn’t recall making a suggestion as secretary of state that the U.S. execute WikiLeaks whistleblower Julian Assange with a planned drone strike.
As WND reported, WikiLeaks tweeted a report from the True Pundit blog Monday that said Clinton proposed exactly that in 2010.
“Can’t we just drone this guy?” Clinton asked during a State Department meeting, according to the report.
“I don’t know anything about what [WikiLeaks] is talking about, and I don’t recall any joke. It would have been a joke had it been said, but I don’t recall that,” Clinton said Tuesday evening.

Thank you, Bill Clinton for endorsing Donald Trump
This year James Carville could sum up the key to the 2016 election by saying, “It’s ObamaCare, stupid.”
Donald Trump wants to repeal ObamaCare. Hillary wants to expand it. The choice doesn’t get any clearer than that.
Knowing this, it’s pretty clear that anyone who supports ObamaCare, supports Hillary. Anyone who despises ObamaCare and agrees it’s a disaster is endorsing Trump.

See Hillary’s Libyan jihadi atrocities
Graphic scenes of violence unleashed after U.S.-backed overthrow
NEW YORK – The extreme brutality unleashed by the mercenaries and Islamic fighters who joined Libyan-based jihadists to oust leader Moammar Gadhafi with the backing of Hillary Clinton’s State Department and NATO is demonstrated in three videos released to WND.
The videos, obtained through a trusted source, were vetted by Libyan tribal parliamentary leaders who spoke to WND. The Libyans verified the videos were taken in Libya in the weeks after the U.S.-backed NATO bombing that began in 2011.
As WND has reported, Clinton’s State Department had decided to rebuff offers Gadhafi had made to abdicate peacefully and avoid a war. And, meanwhile, Politico reported Tuesday the Obama administration is moving to drop charges against an arms dealer who had threatened to expose Hillary Clinton’s determination to arm anti-Gadhafi rebels.
The Libyan tribal parliamentary leaders, in an exclusive Skype interview published by WND on Sept. 21, characterized Clinton as the “Butcher of Libya.” They contended her State Department was “behind the terrorist groups controlling Libya, Ansar al-Sharia, behind the militia in Misurata who destroyed a great part of Libya and displaced 2 million people from their lands because they were accused of being loyal to Gadhafi.”

The Clintons will break all rules and laws to seize White House power. This is amply proven by the manner in which they rigged and stole the first presidential debate.
The operation appears to have been planned in advance of the September 26, 2016 event, involving the Clintons and their operatives, the debate organizers, the broadcast media (NBC and “moderator”Lester Holt), the managers of the venue, and the security detail at the facility.
The rig was carried out with near-military precision.
It began with the building of a special podium for Hillary Clinton: one that was smaller than the podium designated for Donald Trump. The smaller podium gave Hillary the illusion of being bigger in physical stature. More importantly, the podium seems to have been built or adapted with some sort of electronic console or teleprompter.
Who oversaw the building and modification of this podium? Why did the Trump people not notice this immediately?

Disgusting: Hillary Buys Ads on Weather Channel for Hurricane Matthew
In really a shameful display of political greed, Hillary Clinton is taking the “never let a serious crisis go to waste” Democrat mantra to an entirely new level — even before it occurs — and it’s simply grotesque.
As weather reports of deadly Hurricane Matthew approaching the Florida coast, Hillary Clinton and her campaign of leftist masterminds were busily thinking of ways she could benefit politically from the possible tragedy that may occur.
And it looks like they’ve figured out a way to pull it off (of course, they did).
Politico reported on Wednesday that the cold-hearted Clinton, already facing historic challenges in the unlikability department (almost as high as Donald Trump, but I digress), “is buying airtime on the Weather Channel in a slew of major Florida media markets.”

Stirring The Pot?
I have a black friend who has been posting images like the ones above on Facebook recently.
If there's one thing I've been preaching ever since Obama got into office is, don't let our government divide us. We are Americans, period.
When Obama and Holder jumped the gun, ultimately learning the alleged victims were in the wrong, I knew we were going to see major race issues.
So in my opinion when someone like my old friend publishes images like the ones above, they are clearly forgetting that white Americans alive today had nothing to do with past history.
That being said, do you think this is stirring the pot?
Michelle Obama: ‘We Need Someone Who’s Honest and Plays by the Rules’ as President
At a Hillary Clinton campaign rally Tuesday in Charlotte, North Carolina, First Lady Michelle Obama delivered a fiery speech, taking direct aim at Clinton’s opponent, Donald Trump. “We need someone who’s honest and plays by the rules,” Obama said, referring to the former Secretary of State as a good replacement for her husband, President Barack Obama.
At the event, which targeted young voters, Obama warned against those thinking of casting protest votes, saying “don’t play with that.” Her message: a vote for anybody but Hillary Clinton is a vote for Clinton’s opponent. To further stress how important each vote is, Obama highlighted how, in 2008, her husband won by only an average of two votes per precincts in North Carolina. In addition to warning people not to stay home because they are frustrated, Obama relentlessly pounded the young audience to make sure they are registered to vote.

Average ATM Fees Hit Record High For 10th Straight Year
If you were hoping that ATM fees would suddenly drop, making life better for anyone who’s ever been forced to use an out-of-network machine, well, we’ve got some bad news: according to a new survey, average ATM fees were up yet again to $4.57 per transaction, marking the 10th straight year of increases.
Each withdrawal you make outside your bank’s ATMs could result in two fees, and both are up this year: Bankrate’s annual checking account survey found that ATMs on average charge $2.90 to let non-customers withdraw money, a 0.7% increase over last year, enough to set a record for the 12th consecutive year.
And the fee your bank will probably charge you for going out-of-network also went up, 1.8% to $1.67 this year. That means you’ll be paying around $4.57 if you don’t use your own bank’s ATM, up $4.52 from last year.

ADVISORY LIFTED FOR POCOMOKE RIVER IN SNOW HILL VICINITY
As a result of recent sampling analysis that was conducted in response to the combined sanitary overflow (CSO) reported by the Town of Snow Hill, the Worcester County Department of Environmental Programs has lifted the public advisory that was issued on September 30.
The high volume of stream flow contributed to the rapid dilution of the combined stormwater- sewage overflow.
The public should still use caution when coming into contact with the river, as it is a natural waterbody, and potential hazards are present with the higher-than-normal streamflow and possible mobile debris within the river.

Other Tool Companies Interested In Buying Craftsman
The legend says that 89 years ago, the head of hardware at Sears Roebuck really liked the name Craftsman, and bought the trademark from an existing tool company for $500 ($6,921 in 2016 dollars). Today, parent company Sears Holdings is troubled and in need of a cash infusion, and has quietly solicited bids for Craftsman. It’s reportedly worth around $2 billion.
We know this not because Sears Holdings has been out bragging about the potential sale, but because ever-mysterious “people with knowledge of the matter” talked to Bloomberg Markets about the sale. Interested buyers have to get their bids in by the end of this month.
Who are those interested buyers? The source has named the companies that are exploring a bid, which include Stanley Black & Decker, Techtronic, Apex, and Husqvarna.
Apex is one of the current manufacturers of Craftsman tools, so simply buying the brand would be an interesting move. The final bids aren’t due until the end of October, though, and not all of these companies will necessarily make a final bid.

Ed Klein: Hillary Clinton Uses 'People as Punching Bags'
In making Donald Trump’s temperament the key issue in her presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton has conveniently forgotten Jesus’s famous admonition: “He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone.”
Hillary is in no position to cast stones.
I should know: I’ve been researching and writing about her for almost fifteen years, and in my new book, Guilty as Sin, I report that the smiley, stick-to-the-script Hillary people see in public is not the real Hillary Clinton at all.
Behind the scenes, she is often totally out of control—screaming and sometimes even physically attacking people, including her husband and campaign workers.
Hillary’s combative behavior is nothing new; she’s been that way all her life. For my 2005 book The Truth About Hillary, I interviewed Hillary’s grammar school classmate, Jim Yrigoyen, who told me the story of being ordered by Hillary to guard a warren of baby rabbits, and not give any of them away to neighborhood boys. When he did, recalled Yrigoyen, “Hillary hauled off and punched me in the nose.”
