Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn: Trumpocrats Turning Against Clinton Because She 'Supports Groups That Are Attacking Our Rule of Law'

Retired Lt. General Michael Flynn, a senior adviser to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, was a guest on Friday’s Breitbart News Daily, where SiriusXM host Matt Boyle asked why a number of longtime Democrats, including Flynn himself, are supporting Donald Trump for president.

“First of all, I think Donald Trump is the leader that our country needs right now,” Flynn declared. “We have such a deficit of leadership in this country.”

“On the question of the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party talks about this progressive movement, actually they’ve been talking about it for a long time,” he continued. “All ‘progressive’ is, it’s a politically correct term for socialism.”

Flynn explained why some lifelong Democrats have grown disillusioned with the progressive vision:

FIRE PREVENTION WEEK - OCTOBER 9-15, 2016

FIRE PREVENTION WEEK - OCTOBER 9-15, 2016

PIKESVILLE, MD (September 28, 2016) -- Governor Larry Hogan proclaims October 9-15, 2016 as Fire Prevention Week and urges all citizens of Maryland to join in and support this observance.  It's time for Fire Prevention Week, and from October 9-15 the Office of the State Fire Marshal is joining forces with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) United States Fire Administration (USFA) and fire departments throughout the State to remind residents that ‘Don’t Wait, Check the Date.  Replace Smoke Alarms Every Ten Years.'  During this year's fire safety campaign, fire departments will be spreading the word about the dangers of fires in the home, most of which can be prevented by performing basic life safety measures.  Additionally, citizens will be reminded of the importance and value of maintaining working smoke alarms and the need to replace them every ten years.
According to the latest NFPA research, about two-thirds of home fire deaths resulted in home fires in which there was a non-working smoke alarm or no smoke alarm was present.
"All too often a tragedy occurs involving a dwelling fire that claims the life of an occupant and/or occupants," said State Fire Marshal Brian S. Geraci.  "Sadly, in many of these occurrences, a lack of operating smoke alarms is revealed during the investigation.  It is our hope that ‘Fire Prevention Week’ will help us reach folks throughout the State of Maryland before they've suffered a tragic loss resulting from the effects of fire."
Below are some of the safety tips that firefighters and safety advocates will be emphasizing:
·        Maintain smoke alarms on every level of the home, in bedrooms and outside sleeping areas.
·        Smoke alarms should be replaced every 10 years.  (Look for the manufacturers date on the back of the smoke alarm).
·        Replace batteries in smoke alarms that have replaceable 9-volt batteries every year.
·        Install and maintain carbon monoxide (CO) alarms in homes with fuel fired appliances. CO alarms should be placed on every level of the home and should be replaced every ten years.
Fire Prevention Week is actively supported by fire departments across the country.  Additionally, fire Prevention Week is the longest running public health and safety observance on record.
***As a reminder: A new law became effective on July 1, 2013 involving “battery only” smoke alarms used in Maryland residential properties.  When these “battery only” smoke alarms have reached their 10-year life span, they need to be replaced with new long-life sealed lithium battery smoke alarms with silence/hush button features.  The silence/hush button feature temporarily disables the alarm so the occupant can ventilate the space from mild smoke conditions typically created during some cooking operations.  The use of these alarms eliminates the need to replace the batteries during the 10 year life of the alarm.
The new law also requires homeowners to ensure they have a smoke alarm installed on each floor and outside each sleeping area, per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) recommendations.
If your property is protected with 120 volt electric smoke alarms, they also should be replaced every 10 years with new 120 volt smoke alarms w/ battery back-up to ensure proper and timely operation in the event of a fire.

State Tax Revenues Plunge In Q2

The latest confirmation that the US economy continues to deteriorate comes not from the Federal Government but from state-level data, where year-over-year growth in state tax revenues slowed in the first quarter to its lowest rate since the second quarter of 2014, according to the latest data published yesterday by the Rockefeller Institute of Government. Worse, preliminary data for the second quarter show an outright decline in state tax collections relative to the second quarter of last year.

As SMRA notes, state tax collections were up 1.6%, year-over-year, in the first quarter, the smallest increase since the second quarter of 2014. After adjustment for inflation, revenues were up 0.4%. Personal income tax collections, which account for roughly 36% of total state revenue, increased 1.8% in the first quarter, down from 5.1% in the fourth quarter. Sales tax collections - the second largest source of state revenue - increased 2.4% in the first quarter, up from 2.0% in the first quarter.

Top Clinton aide dismissed IT specialist's concerns about private email server

A top aide to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton dismissed concerns a State Department IT specialist brought to her about Clinton's private email server, according to newly released interview summaries from an FBI investigation.

The 189 pages of documents released Friday include notes of agents' interviews with Mills, Huma Abedin and others close to the Democratic presidential nominee.

According to the documents, tech expert Bryan Pagliano revealed to FBI agents that one of his State Department colleagues told him "in late 2009 or early 2010" that Clinton's use of a private email address to handle her correspondence "may be a federal records retention issue."

In a separate conversation, Pagliano's IT colleague, whose identity is redacted in the documents, said that "he wouldn’t be surprised if classified information was being transmitted."

Video: Sick Hillary Wears Heavy Winter Coat on Warm Afternoon

Video footage shot yesterday in New York shows a sick-looking Hillary Clinton wearing a heavy winter coat in New York despite it being a warm afternoon, with temperatures hovering around 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

The clip, shot by ABC reporter Liz Kreutz, shows Hillary exiting Apple Seeds children’s center before she went to meet with Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu.

Hillary is wearing a heavy green winter coat that is buttoned up, which would obviously be uncomfortable for healthy people on a warm day.

Just two weeks previously, Hillary infamously collapsed during another visit to New York, an incident that was blamed on her pneumonia and Clinton feeling “overheated”.

MADDOW MELTDOWN: A Fact Check Of Rachel’s Faulty Fact-Checking

Rachel Maddow ran a segment fact-checking the “untrue things” that Donald Trump said during Monday night’s presidential debate.

“The fact-checking, certainly, could be done,” Maddow argued. “I mean most people could do it off the top of their heads.”

Unfortunately, Maddow appears not to be one of those people.

Let’s go over the evidence:

Introducing the Military-Industrial-Elementary School Complex

What’s so uniquely tragic about the the intrusion of the police state into America’s schools, is it appears the parents themselves are the ones demanding it. This is in contrast to an overbearing surveillance state implemented by government in secret, as well as by private corporations via lengthy terms of service agreements nobody actually reads.

What follows are excerpts from a very important article published at The Nation, The School-Security Industry Is Cashing In Big on Public Fears of Mass Shootings:

“Security was the number-one factor for me in choosing a school,” explained one of the mothers I met late last winter at a Montessori preschool in an affluent suburb of Salt Lake City. A quality-control expert at a dietary-supplement company, the woman said she vividly remembers the jolt of horror she felt when she first learned of the Columbine massacre in 1999. So when the time came to send her child to preschool, she selected one that markets itself not only as creative, caring, and nurturing, but also as particularly security-conscious.

To get the front door of the school to open, visitors had to be positively ID’d by a fingerprint-recognition system. In the foyer, a bank of monitors showed a live feed of the activity in every classroom. After drop-off, many parents would spend 15 minutes to half an hour staring at the screens, making sure their children were being treated well by their teachers and classmates. Many of the moms and dads had requested Internet access to the images, but the school had balked, fearing that online sexual predators would be able to hack into the video stream. All of the classroom doors had state-of-the-art lockdown features, and all of the teachers had access to long-distance bee spray—which, in the case of an emergency, they were instructed to fire off at the eyes of intruders. The playground was surrounded by a high concrete wall, which crimped the kids’ views of the majestic Wasatch Mountains. The imposing front walls, facing out onto a busy road, were similarly designed to stop predators from peering into the classrooms.

“I fear a gunman walking into my child’s school and gunning up the place,” the mother continued. (I have withheld her name, and that of the school, upon request.) “And I fear someone walking onto the playground and swiping a kid. And I fear an employee of the school damaging my child. These things happen more commonly than people expect.”

Trump Endorsed by US Immigration Officers

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump picked up the endorsement on Monday of the union representing 5,000 federal immigration officers, a boost of support for his immigration policy.

Trump has laid out a hardline position on illegal immigration, proposing to build a wall along the U.S. southern border with Mexico and take other steps to crack down on the flow of undocumented people crossing into the United States.

The National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council, a union representing 5,000 federal immigration officers and law enforcement support staff, announced it would support Trump, in what was described as its first endorsement of a candidate for elected office.

The union's president, Chris Crane, outlined in a statement why his group is backing Trump, saying his union members are "the last line of defense for American communities" and that his members "are prevented from enforcing the most basic immigration laws."

BlueCross BlueShield Drops Obamacare Coverage in 3 Tennessee Markets

BlueCross BlueShield announced it will not sell Obamacare coverage in Nashville, Memphis, and Knoxville, Tennessee in 2017, citing losses of $500 million.

“We have tried to make the Affordable Care Act marketplace model work for Tennessee, but we believe there are too many uncertainties to continue participating on a statewide level as we have before,” the company said.

“BlueCross committed early to the ACA marketplace and has been the only health insurer to offer coverage options in every region in the state since 2014,” it said. “And we have experienced losses approaching $500 million over the course of three years on ACA plans, which is unsustainable.”

BlueCross BlueShield’s withdrawal from these exchanges means that 100,000 individuals will lose their current insurance policy and have to find another plan.

Ex-DOJ official: ‘Comey has to go’

Insiders say FBI director's errors in handling Clinton email case 'embarrassed' agency

Former Justice Department official Victoria Toensing says more and more evidence shows FBI Director James Comey made basic errors in the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information, and many FBI personnel believe his conduct has embarrassed the bureau.

In July, Comey offered a long list of poor decisions and “extremely careless” behavior by Clinton because she ran all of her email through a private email server. Then Comey said there was no intent by Clinton to break the law and no precedent existed for prosecuting the case. Therefore, Clinton would not be charged.

Since then, the FBI has released more and more evidence from the case, leaving Toensing and others with deep reservations about Comey’s competence. The latest revelations include the extension of immunity to Clinton State Department Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, that President Obama communicated with Clinton via her server under a pseudonym and that Comey allowed one prominent Democrat attorney to represent four different witnesses in the case.

“I think Jim Comey has to go,” Toensing told WND and Radio America. “I can’t tell you the number of present federal prosecutors and FBI people who have been talking to my husband (former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova) and me about how upset they are with Jim Comey and his performance and how it’s embarrassed the FBI.”

World’s first baby born using controversial new ‘three-parent’ technique

The world’s first child created using a controversial “three-parent” baby technique has been born in Mexico, it has been announced.

Limited details about the birth were revealed ahead of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine's scientific congress in Salt Lake City next month, where it will be discussed more fully.

According to critics, the procedure is tantamount to genetic modification of humans or even “playing God”. But supporters say it allows women with a particular type of genetic disease to have healthy children who are related to them.

A report in the New Scientist magazine said the baby was now five months told. His parents are Jordanians and the work was carried out by a team of experts from the US.

Archive video exposes Weiner in-law

Syed Abedin, the father of top Hillary Clinton aide Huma, outlined his view of Sharia law and how the Western world has turned Muslims “hostile” during a wide-ranging video interview that shines newfound light on the reclusive thinker’s world views, according to footage exclusively obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Abedin, a Muslim scholar who was tied to the Saudi Arabian government until his death in 1993, has remained somewhat of a mystery as the media turns its eye to his daughter Huma, a top Clinton campaign aide who recently announced her separation from husband Anthony Weiner following his multiple sex scandals.

Syed Abedin explained his views on the Muslim world and spread of Islam during a 1971 interview titled The World of Islam, which was first broadcast on Western Michigan University television.

Abedin said that Arab states must police the upholding of Sharia, or Islamic law, and explained why the majority of Muslims view Israel and the Western world in primarily “hostile” terms.

The video provides a window into the Abedin family’s ideology, which has been marred byaccusations it is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Wells Fargo Or The Fed: Who's The Bigger Fraud?

The Wells Fargo bank account scandal took center stage in the news last week and in all likelihood will continue to make headlines for many weeks to come. What Wells Fargo employees did in opening bank accounts without customers' authorization was obviously wrong, but in true Washington fashion the scandal is being used to deflect attention away from larger, more enduring, and more important scandals.

What Wells Fargo employees who opened these accounts engaged in was nothing more than fraud and theft, and they should be punished accordingly. But how much larger is the fraud perpetrated by the Federal Reserve System and why does the Fed continue to go unpunished?

For over 100 years the Federal Reserve System has been devaluing the dollar, siphoning money from the wallets of savers into the pockets of debtors. Where is the outrage? Where are the hearings? Why isn’t Congress up in arms about the Fed’s malfeasance?

It reminds me of the story of the pirate confronting Alexander the Great. When accused by Alexander of piracy, he replies“Because I do it with a small boat, I am called a pirate and a thief. You, with a great navy, molest the world and are called an emperor.”

BREAKING: DRUG Scandal About To Rock Hillary’s Campaign!

According to a bombshell new report, Hillary Clinton’s campaign will now have to answer major questions involving drug addiction.

Reportedly, Former President Bill Clinton has a serious addition to cocaine, and he once suffered an almost-fatal overdose. He also once secretly stayed a a drug rehabilitation center in Minnesota! Shocking!

The report, written by former White House Aide Roger Stone, who served in the Nixon administration, insists Bill’s drug problems started in the 1970s as Governor of Arkansas, and continued throughout the early 1990s. In fact, it’s likely drugs played a major role in why he dropped out of the Presidential race in 1987, as his handlers wanted to “clean him up” for future campaigns.

They knew he would never stop womanizing, but handlers moved quickly to keep Bill from overdosing on cocaine. Larry Nichols, a former member of Clinton’s so-called “Kitchen Cabinet,” was informed by Bill’s Chief of Staff Betsey Wright that Bill as put into rehab to quit cocaine for good. The facility where he likely ended up more than once was the Betty Ford Clinic in Minnesota.

Hillary tries to evade Benghazi lawsuit liability

Wants to overturn judgment because 'she does not believe she is in default'

Responding to a federal court’s ruling that she defaulted in a wrongful-death claim against her by missing a filing deadline, Hillary Clinton is claiming she didn’t know she had been served with a lawsuit until it was too late.

The complaint was brought by the parents of two of the Americans killed by Islamic terrorists in Benghazi.

WND reported earlier this month that the federal court declared Clinton in default. The ruling, however, did not immediately establish liability, and she has responded to the court that there are several reasons she should be given a pass for missing the deadline.

WND reported in August the claims were brought by the parents of two of the Americans killed by Islamic terrorists in Benghazi.

The case was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia by lawyer Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch USA on behalf of Patricia Smith, the mother of Sean Smith, and Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods. The parents cite the FBI’s determination that Clinton’s handling of classified information through the use of a nonsecure, private email server was “extremely careless.”

Subject: Chinese Authorities Clamp Down on Small Jewish Community

Chinese authorities have been closing down all signs of organized Jewish life in Kaifeng, and the few hundred people who claim Jewish ancestry have been forced underground to practice their religion, The Times of Israel reports.

All public signs of Jewish history in the city have also been removed, such as an ancient well believed to be the last remnant of a synagogue, which the Chinese have now buried under rubble.

Scholars say the Kaifeng Jewish community is about 1,200 years old and numbered, at its height some 500 years ago, about 5,000 people. It had strong institutions, but intermarriage and conversion gradually weakened the community before a recent revival.

Gowdy: State Dept. 'Aided and Abetted' Clinton Email Cover-Up

There was a cover-up when it came to Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server, and the State Department "aided and abetted that cover-up," Rep. Trey Gowdy, who chairs the House's Select Committee on Benghazi, said Sunday.

Gowdy said that arrangement went on to allow Clinton to keep her emails for two more years after she left office.

"She had this arrangement for the entire time she was secretary of state, then she kept them for two years," the South Carolina Republican lawmaker told Fox News' Bret Baier. "It was only because the State Department would not go away, and that's when it gets interesting."

He said there were conversations between Clinton's former Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, State Department Undersecretary for Management Patrick Kennedy, and Platte River Networks, the Colorado company that managed Hillary Clinton's emails after she left office, and after his committee sent out subpoenas, emails were destroyed.

"The State Department, which is supposed to be apolitical, non-interested in the next presidential election, has been covering for Hillary Clinton since she left office," said Gowdy.

Fans are already planning trips to Ray Lewis's presumptive 2018 Hall of Fame induction

It may be two years and the vote of a selection committee away, but some are already planning to witness the induction of Baltimore Ravens great Ray Lewis into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

A Baltimore tour bus company has started taking reservations for the July 2018 ceremony in Canton, Ohio, which promises to be an all-out, Baltimore-heads-west extravaganza likely to rival the 2007 induction of Cal Ripken Jr. into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

"We took 12 buses there," said Marc Komins, executive vice president of Superior Tours, "so I'm thinking it will be close to that, if not more."

Komins said Superior Tours opened a reservation bank in January for the Lewis trip to Canton and so far has 70 commitments.

The cost to see No. 52 join the ranks of Baltimore Colts legends like Johnny Unitas and Gino Marchetti in Canton is estimated to be $1,950 for a four-day, all-inclusive bus and hotel package, Komins said.

Gun Control Keeps Urban Residents Dependent on Government

During a recent conversation with Breitbart News, Black Guns Matter (BGM) founder Maj Toure explained that gun control is one of the tools Democrats use to keep urban residents dependent on government.

Regarding Chicago’s South Side, Baltimore’s inner city, and other similar, Democrat-run areas, Toure said:

"There are people deliberately trying to make the urban demographic poor, uneducated, and dependent on government. The people doing this know that more dependence means more control. And that’s not a theory. That’s actually what happens. The unfortunate part is when elected officials are doing it, they are sometimes getting a check on the back end. And they see the violence but think, “Well, I don’t live over there so it doesn’t matter.”

Toure stressed that gun control plays a role in creating this dependence. He said the urban demographic is kept in the dark about their Second Amendment rights “by design.” Therefore, it is “not an accident” that residents on Chicago’s South Side or Baltimore’s inner city associate guns with crime rather than self-defense and freedom. They are not told about their rights in hopes of making them increasingly dependent on the government for protection.

WaPo, NYT Lead Trend Of Emphasizing Race Of White Officer, Burying Race Of Black Officer

Thirty-six percent of the articles did not mention the officer’s race, but emphasized that the victim was a black man shot by a police officer

The New York Times and The Washington Post bury police officers’ race when they are black, but rush to highlight race when the officer happens to be white, an analysis of two similar cases by The Daily Caller News Foundation shows.

White Tulsa officer Betty Shelby, a five-year veteran on the force, shot Terence Crutcher, who is black, when police came across his car stopped in the middle of the road. Dash cam video appears to show that police tased and shot Crutcher as he walked back to his car with his hands up.

Black Charlotte officer Brentley Vinson shot Keith Lamont Scott, who was also black and who allegedly carried a gun. According to police, Scott ignore multiple warnings to drop his handgun.

In a random sampling of 11 articles from The New York Times on the Tulsa shooting, TheDCNF found that 63 percent of articles mentioned Shelby’s white race and Crutcher’s black race in the same sentence. Thirty-six percent of the articles did not mention the officer’s race, but emphasized that the victim was a black man shot by a police officer.

'Elitist, Out Of Touch' NY Times Parrots Clinton Talking Points In Endorsement Editorial

The "embodiment of the rigged system Donald Trump is running against."

The Trump campaign slammed the New York Times ahead of Monday’s presidential debate for the paper’s endorsement of Hillary Clinton describing it as “some of the least surprising news ever.”

“The ultra-liberal, elitist, out-of-touch New York Times Editorial Board endorsed an ultra-liberal, elitist, out-of-touch candidate.” a statement from senior communications adviser Jason Miller read.

Miller noted that the editorial board of the Times is the “embodiment of the rigged system Donald Trump is running against.”

“Mr. Trump far prefers the endorsement of hard-working Americans across this country than an editorial board that only seems to care about the plaudits they receive at cocktail parties and dinners in the power corridors of this country,” the statement continued.

'U.S. Told Me to Buy My Own Ticket Home'

Iranian-American pastor Saeed Abedini, who was jailed in Iran for evangelization and released in January, said that, upon his release, the U.S. government flew him to Germany for a health check-up but then told him he had to purchase his own plane ticket home to the United States.

“In Germany, actually, they told us, ‘You need to buy your own ticket to come to the United States,’ and I was shocked,” said Abedini in a Sept. 22 interview on the Fox Business Network. “I said, ‘How come?’ And they said ‘that was our job to bring you out of Iran, not bring you inside the United States.’”

“I talked to other Americans in the hospital and we were all actually shocked because I thought that, I just came out and I had prison clothes, nothing, and they told us you need to buy your own ticket,” said Abedini, who had converted to Christianity from Shia Islam in 2000.

Abedini believes that he and the other hostages were released only after the secret $400 million payment by the Obama administration to the Iranian government had changed hands.

Fresno Police Closing In On Thugs Who Attacked Patrol Car

LANGUAGE WARNING!

Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer has a warning for the people who attacked and vandalized a California patrol SUV – arrests are coming.

Sunday afternoon in southwest Fresno, a California Highway Patrol officer spotted tire smoke at an intersection and went to investigate, finding a Chevrolet Tahoe burning donuts in the street. A large group of people were blocking the street while they watched several cars driving recklessly in the streets.

The officer got out of his SUV to issue a citation, when the crowd nearby shouted for the driver to speed away, so he took off. The officer then got back in his vehicle to pursuing the fleeing vehicle, and that’s when the crowd attacked, kicking and hitting the patrol vehicle, smashing windows and denting the side paneling, reported the Fresno Bee.

“F**k the police… we run the streets!” they yelled.

A Viewer Writes: Maryland: Salisbury City Council Considers Outright Ban on Replica Firearms

Hi Joe,

Lifetime member of the NRA and I just received this email shown below today.

Found another story at http://www.ydr.com/story/news/local/maryland/2016/09/26/salisbury-toy-gun-rules/90845480/.

If kids are using these to commit crimes then press the full power of the law on them, no mercy. Parents are even more to blame as well, even more so than the kids. Instead of coming up with some half assed law, why isn't the time and the energy used for education for both parents and kids? To be a parent, if you give your kid a gun, any gun, there are solid, hard core rules to abide by. Granted, you point and shoot at people during airsoft and paintball, but this is done ONLY on the field of play. But, then again, a lot of parents these days shouldn't have had kids in the first place.

For education, one idea is for the city to produce a TV commercial during prime time discussing how gun rules for real guns apply EXACTLY the same for toy guns. That was how I was brought up. (I got my ass beat from my father for shooting my sister with a suction cup gun.) Have the commercial also show the consequences of walking down the street with a toy gun, or running into a store, or someone's home. These kids (and parents) are stuck on stupid.

These toy guns are just going to be purchased elsewhere if not in Salisbury, so the city leadership is giving water to a drowning man.

What really burns me as well, if it is true, is the statement, "If enacted, this proposal could even ban the drill rifles used in JROTC and ROTC programs, by American Legion and VFW posts, in exercises designed to honor our military and our country." Really? Salisbury leadership, as usual, stuck on stupid.

Daniel Boone: As large as legends suggest

Bill Federer remembers famous frontiersman's life, accomplishments
Daniel Boone served with George Washington in 1755 during the French and Indian War, under British General Edward Braddock. In 1765, Daniel Boone explored Florida. He once exclaimed: “I can’t say I was ever lost, but I was bewildered once for three days.”

Daniel Boone’s Quaker family had pioneered North Carolina’s Yadkin River Valley. In 1767, Daniel Boone began exploring Kentucky. In 1769, Boone traveled through the Cumberland Gap in the mountains and spent two years hunting and trapping in eastern Kentucky with his friend, John Stewart. Indians captured and separated them, and, unfortunately, Boone eventually found John Stewart’s body shot dead.

In 1773, Daniel Boone and Captain William Russell were ordered by Virginia’s governor, Lord Dunmore, to settle an area called Castle Woods. Daniel Boone’s 17-year-old son, James Boone, and Captain Russell’s 17-year-old son, Henry, were bringing supplies to Castle Woods when they were ambushed by Indians and brutally massacred.

Keith Lamont Scott was scum: The complex reality of the US police

Not just in Israel where Palestinian Arab rock-throwing thugs are called "frustrated youth" by the left, but in the US where nothing says "family man" like assaulting women and children: Protest thugs and the real evil in Charlotte.

Keith Lamont Scott was scum.

He had been convicted of assault with a deadly weapon in two different states and convicted of assault in three states. He had been hit with "assault with intent to kill" charges in the 90s. His record of virtue included "assault on a child under 12" and "assault on a female."

The media spin; "Family and neighbors call Scott a quiet 'family man.'"

Nothing says "quiet" like "assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill" and nothing says "family man" like assaulting women and children.

Keith Lamont Scott, the latest martyr of Black Lives Matter and its media propaganda corps, was shot while waving a gun around. He had spent 7 years in jail for "aggravated assault with a deadly weapon."

This vicious monster's career of crime ended when he was shot by Brentley Vinson, an African-American police officer, protecting himself from the latest rampage by this "quiet family man."

Brentley Vinson is everything that Scott isn't. The son of a police officer, Brentley dreamed of following in his father's footsteps. He used to organize his football team's bible studies and mentored younger players. Former teammates describe him as a "great guy" with "good morals." His former coach calls him a "natural leader" and says that, "We need more Brent Vinsons... in our communities."

Except that Obama, Black Lives Matter, the media, the NAACP and everyone else going after this bright and decent African-American officer has decided that what we really need are more Keith Lamont Scotts. And the streets of Charlotte are full of "Scotts" throwing rocks at police, assaulting reporters and wrecking everything in sight in marches that are as "peaceful" as Scott was a "quiet family man."

Hillary Clinton Friend Discussed Libya Projects With FBI

Sidney Blumenthal has repeatedly claimed that he had no financial interests in a company seeking contracts in post-Gaddafi Libya that he pitched to Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state.

But notes from the longtime Clinton adviser’s Jan. 7 FBI interview undercut that claim. They show that Blumenthal did have a financial interest in the company’s project in the form of a finder’s fee, though it never materialized.

It emerged last year that Blumenthal, a former journalist and Bill Clinton White House aide, emailed Clinton touting projects undertaken by a U.S.-based contractor called Osprey Global Solutions. The company sought to work with Libya’s transition government after dictator Moammar Gaddafi’s fall to provide private security services and build floating hospitals in the war-torn country.

Blumenthal’s partners in pushing the project — which would have required State Department approval — were longtime Clinton fixer Cody Shearer and Tyler Drumheller, a retired CIA operative who was the source of many of the intelligence memos that Blumenthal sent to Clinton while she was in office.

Md. fracking regulations include enhanced buffers around wells

Maryland’s long-awaited fracking regulations would ban drilling in three watersheds in Western Maryland and require extensive safeguards around drilling sites, protections that Secretary of the Environment Ben H. Grumbles called “the most stringent” in the country.

The proposed regulations, which the state unveiled Monday, also would allow fracking closer to homes and private wells than what was proposed by then-Gov. Martin O’Malley (D) before the legislature imposed a moratorium on the controversial gas-extraction practice that is set to expire in October 2017.

Maryland’s Department of the Environment is calling for four layers of steel casing and cement around fracking wells to prevent water, gas and other fluids from migrating to other areas, and for the monitoring of surface water and groundwater before and after drilling begins.

UPI/CVoter state polls: Donald Trump ahead of Hillary Clinton in Electoral College

Trump would amass 292 votes and Clinton would get 246 with 270 needed to secure the oval office

Donald Trump would earn enough votes to win the presidency in the Electoral College based on UPI/CVoter’s state tracking poll released Monday.

Trump would amass 292 votes and Clinton would get 246 with 270 needed to secure the oval office.

But the candidates’ leads are narrow enough — 5 percent or less — in 12 states to classify them as swing states, meaning 156 electoral votes could be up for grabs.

If the battleground states are not counted, the race would be tied 191-191.

Just one swing state — Florida with 29 votes — could shift to give Clinton easily enough Electoral College votes to win, 275-263. Or switching Pennsylvania with 20 votes and Virginia with 13 would having her prevailing even more, 279-259.

Each candidate leads in six of the 12 battleground states.

Trump leads in Florida (1.8 percent), Iowa (2 percent), North Carolina (2.5 percent), Ohio (1 percent), Pennsylvania (1.3 percent) and Virginia (3.4 percent).

PAYBACK: Obama Admin Sues Peter Thiel for Bogus ‘Racial Discrimination’

Palantir Technologies co-founder Peter Thiel is evidently paying the price for backing Republican nominee Donald Trump, as the Obama administration has slapped his company with a frivolous lawsuit alleging “racial discrimination” against Asians.

The lawsuit, filed and announced Monday by the Department of Labor, threatens the complete cancellation of every contract Palantir has with the federal government — a penalty worth $340 million, the lawsuit claims, which would end the company.

The claims in the lawsuit are laughable. The Obama administration alleges that Palantir discriminated against Asians. But it has to admit that Palantir, in fact, hired many Asians — 11 out of 25 software engineers, for example. The government does not even bother to claim that Palantir deliberately excluded Asians. Rather, it argues that since only 44% of Palantir’s software engineers are Asian, but 85% of the applicant pool was Asian, Palantir must, statistically, have discriminated against Asians.

China debt could wreck the global economy: Leading economist warns country could suffer a calamitous slowdown

China poses the biggest threat to the global economy as its debts soar, according to a leading economist.

Ken Rogoff, the former chief economist at the International Monetary Fund, said the country could suffer a calamitous slowdown – dragging the rest of the world down with it.

A so-called 'hard landing' in the world's second biggest economy, where growth drops to dangerously low levels, would be a disaster for other countries including Britain.

China is the UK's sixth biggest export market with sales of goods made in British factories to the People's Republic jumping from £877million in 1998 to £15.5billion in 2014.

Rouhani: Obama 'Conducting Conversations' to Send More Money to Iran

The president of Iran, state-sponsor of terrorism, has said he is expecting more money from the United States in addition to the $1.7 billion in cash that President Barack Obama has already paid the Shiite Islamic Republic as part of his nuclear deal.

“There are still considerable sums of money in the United States that belong to our nation. And we’re currently conducting conversations and various dialogues in order to return this money to Iran. Some things that we could not agree upon, there are ways to address those in the international court system,” Shiite Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani told NBC News’s Chuck Todd in an exclusive interview.

“In other words, these are the monies belonging to the Iranian nation, left in the United States for 38 years and must be returned to its rightful owner,” he added later.
