JUDGE SETS TRIAL DATE IN DEATH OF AMY JOYNER-FRANCIS
WILMINGTON, Del. --Three Delaware girls charged in a fatal school bathroom fight will go to trial nearly a year after a 16-year-old girl's death.
A Family Court judge on Tuesday scheduled the non-jury trial for April 3. Attorneys say it could last up to two weeks.
The judge ruled last month that a 16-year-old girl facing the most serious charge, criminally negligent homicide, would not be tried as an adult, leaving all three defendants to be tried as juveniles.
They will at most get juvenile detention until they're 21, then out to the community again. I hope that the victim's family is successful in suing the school system and the state for wrongful death.
If they were white they surely would have been charged as adults. The system is upside down. Political correctness will bite you every time. Obey the laws of the land regardless of color.
Some people should be tried as adults. Murder is murder no excuses.
ReplyDeleteThe three girls planned this, therefore, premeditated murder, ALL three should be tried as adults. They knew EXACTLY what they were going to do.

DeleteWe had a couple of guys in our school who were absolutely capable of murdering people.I don't know that they ever did,but they had it in them.
