Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
A jealous wife in China chopped off her cheating husband’s penis as he slept, then snuck into his hospital room after he had it sewn back on — and hacked it off again and tossed it out the window.
Fan Lung, a dad of five, sealed his fate when he decided to use his wife’s cellphone to send his secret lover a hot and heavy email, Central European News reports.

2 Albuquerque officers charged with murder in March shooting
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Two Albuquerque police officers were charged with murder Monday in the shooting death of a knife-wielding homeless man that led to violent protests and brought new scrutiny to the police department amid a federal investigation.
Acknowledging the frustration over the secrecy of the proceedings in those cases, the Albuquerque district attorney said she would bypass the grand jury process and instead present the murder case to a judge at a preliminary hearing that will be open to the public. The decision to bring murder charges occurred at a time when police tactics are under intense review nationwide, fueled by the fatal shooting of an unarmed 18-year-old in Ferguson, Missouri, and the chokehold death of another unarmed man in New York City. Grand juries declined to charge officers in those cases, leading to large protests.

MALE LOGIC....
Critical Thinking
At Its Best!
Woman:
Do you drink beer?
At Its Best!
Woman:
Do you drink beer?
Man: Yes
Woman:
How many beers a day?
Man:
Usually about 3 .
Woman:
How much do you pay per beer?
Man: $5.00 , which includes a tip
(This is where it gets scary!)
Woman:
And how long have you been drinking?
Man:
About 20 years, I suppose
Woman:
So a beer costs $5 and you have 3 beers a day which puts your spending each
month at $450. In one year, it would be approximately $5400 , correct?
Man:
Correct
Woman:
If in 1 year you spend $5400, not accounting for inflation, the past
20 years puts your spending at $108,000, correct?
Man:
Correct
Woman:
Do you know that if you didn't drink so much beer, that money could have
been put in a step-up interest savings account and after accounting
for compound interest for the past 20 years, you could have now bought a
Lamborghini?
Man:
Do
you drink beer?
Woman:
No!
Man:
Where's your Lamborghini?
28-pound rainbow trout caught in northern Idaho would have been record-breaker
A 28-pound rainbow trout was caught in a northern Idaho river last week—which would have been the largest in state history-- but it had to be released due to state laws protecting the threatened species.
"It's the biggest rainbow trout I've seen," Steve Liebenthal, the public information specialist from Idaho Fish and Game, told FoxNews.com.
The fish was hauled in on Jan. 8 by angler Larry Warren on the idyllic Clearwater River.

Critics question Syracuse mayor's appointment of Nation of Islam rep to school board
The mayor of Syracuse is drawing criticism after appointing a member of the Nation of Islam to fill an opening on the school board, but the follower of firebrand minister Louis Farrakhan vowed to help the community tackle "the whole problem of race."
Mark Muhammad, 54, an assistant professor at nearby Onondaga Community College and adjunct professor at Syracuse University, was tapped by Mayor Stephanie Miner to fill the last nine months of a term won by a board member who moved out of the city. Muhammad is the city’s local representative for the often controversial offshoot of Islam, led by Farrakhan, who has a long history of making anti-Semitic and racist statements.
"Mark is a positive influence on our community and has been for many years,'' Miner said in a prepared statement. "I am confident he will go on to do good work for the children and families of the school district."

Maryland’s New Winter Turkey Season to Open Statewide
This month kicks off Maryland’s first-ever winter turkey hunting season, taking place January 22-24 statewide. The new season will provide hunters with increased turkey hunting opportunities while minimizing conflicts with other seasons.
The bag limit is one turkey, of either sex. Hunters who took a turkey in the 2014 fall season may not harvest any in the winter. Hunting hours are one half-hour before sunrise to one half-hour after sunset. Weapons are limited to shotguns loaded with #4 shot or smaller. Crossbows or vertical bows are also legal. Harvest reporting requirements are the same as other turkey seasons. Hunters may check-in their harvests via phone, internet or mobile device with theAccessDNR app.
Winter hunting will generally require different techniques than those used in the spring when turkeys are breeding. For example, hen calls and decoys will be less attractive. Hunters should consider using traditional fall season tactics such as locating food sources, scattering a flock once found, and using “assembly” or “lost” calls to attract winter turkeys.
Complete regulations, check-in procedures and information on public land hunting opportunities can be found online at dnr.maryland.gov/huntersguide or in the 2014-2015 Maryland Guide to Hunting & Trapping issued with each hunting license.

Boehner: 'Our Goal Here Is to Fund Department of Homeland Security'
(CNSNews.com) - House Republicans say they are eager to pass a bill to fully fund the Department of Homeland Security, as long as no funding goes to President Obama's vastly expanded immigration program.
At a news conference Tuesday morning, House speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said, "This is actually not about the issue of immigration. This is about the president acting lawlessly...Listen, our goal here is to fund the Department of Homeland Security.
"Our second goal is to stop the president's executive overreach. This is not the way our government was intended to work. The president said 22 times that he didn't have the authority to do what he eventually did. He knows -- he knows the truth here, and so do the American people. And our job is to listen to the American people and hold the president accountable."

Female leaders removed from Paris march images by Israeli newspaper
An ultra-conservative Jewish newspaper has digitally removed female politicians from an iconic image of world leaders marching through Paris, following last week's terror attacks.
Israel's The Announcer airbrushed out German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo - and cropped the front-page picture to completely exclude Danish Prime Minster, Helle Thorning-Shmidt.
It's believed the women were removed from the historic image, taken on January 11, so the newspaper would not offend its highly devout Orthodox readers.

Under Armour files trademark infringement lawsuit
BALTIMORE —Under Armour is filing a new lawsuit that accuses a Florida-based company of copying its trademark.
The trademark infringement lawsuit alleges that the company Salt Armour has been selling and promoting sporting goods and products under the names Salt Armour and Defense Armour since 2012.
The lawsuit says that in doing so, that company's consumers are likely to believe that its products have been made, approved or licensed by Under Armour, which isn't the case.

Benghazi campaign alert: Rand Paul calls Libya 'Hillary's War'
Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul sent a strong signal Tuesday to 2016-watchers that Benghazi isn't dead as a presidential campaign issue, slamming former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for failing to prevent the 2012 terror attack in the Libyan port city that killed the U.S. ambassador and three other American personnel.
'We have to defend ourselves,' he told a conservative audience at a summit hosted by Heritage Action for America. 'We also have to defend our diplomatic missions around the world.'
'I put a lot of blame at the feet of Hillary Clinton for not defending the embassy – or the consulate – in Benghazi. I think she did a terrible job. And I think that it's inexcusable, basically, when you're asked for security that you not provide it.'
Paul added in a calculated barb at Clinton, who is the Democratic Party's presumptive 2016 front-runner, that protecting American assets 'is the job of the Commander-in-Chief, and that is the job of the executive branch.'

Rebuked by Graham, Duke University cancels bell tower broadcast of Muslim call to prayer
DURHAM — In the face of biting criticism from conservative Christian evangelist Franklin Graham, Duke University dropped its plan Thursday to let Muslim students chant a weekly call to prayer from the Duke Chapel bell tower.
“Duke remains committed to fostering an inclusive, tolerant and welcoming campus for all of its students,” Michael Schoenfeld, vice president for public affairs, said in a news release. “However, it was clear that what was conceived as an effort to unify was not having the intended effect.”
Members of the Duke Muslim Students Association hold prayer services, open to the public, at 1 p.m. each Friday in the Duke Chapel basement. Duke announced Tuesdaythat starting Friday the students would make the “moderately amplified” call to prayer – a chant called the adhan – from the bell tower of Duke’s iconic Gothic chapel.

Immigrants can now get Mexican birth certificates in US
SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — The Mexican government on Thursday will start issuing birth certificates to its citizens at consulates in the United States, seeking to make it easier for them to apply for U.S. work permits, driver’s licenses and protection from deportation.
Until now, Mexico has required citizens to get birth certificates at government offices in Mexico. Many of those living in the U.S. ask friends and relatives back home to retrieve them, which can delay their applications for immigration or other programs.
Now, even as Republicans in Congress try to quash President Barack Obama’s reprieve to millions of immigrants living illegally in the U.S., Mexico is trying to help them apply for programs that would allow them to remain temporarily in the country and continue sending money back to relatives across the border.

NYPD union meeting erupts into chaos
An ugly scene erupted Tuesday at a Queens banquet hall where NYPD cops had convened to discuss ongoing tensions with City Hall.
The Patrolmen's Benevolent Association chief Patrick Lynch, who so vocally demanded that Mayor Bill de Blasio apologize to the NYPD after showing what they called police bias following the Eric Garner decision, bore the brunt of the ire.
'I don't care about an apology,' one union rep yelled at Lynch as the meeting devolved into chaos. 'I want to know what you're going to do to protect us.'
It was toward the end of the tense 2-hour session when the yelling began, the New York Daily News reports.

Experts: If Holmes found insane, he’s unlikely to be freed
DENVER (AP) — If James Holmes is found not guilty by reason of insanity in the Colorado theater massacre, he would be committed indefinitely to the state mental hospital and could — in theory, at least — be released someday.
But psychiatrists and attorneys say that’s highly unlikely, given the enormity of the shootings and the notoriety they have generated.
“He doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell of ever walking off the grounds of the Colorado state hospital,” said Dr. Steven Pitt, a forensic psychiatrist based in Scottsdale, Arizona, who works on criminal cases but is not involved in the Holmes case.

The end for Rosie and Whoopi? ABC considers ending The View
The View is dimming at the show that Barbara Walters built.
Network insiders tell Daily Mail Online that the long-running talk show could end after this season, amid struggling ratings and infighting among the talk show hosts.
Currently in its eighteenth season, the show created by retired TV journalist Barbara Walters is suffering some of its lowest ratings ever with its new team of Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O'Donnell, Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez.
Now under the umbrella of ABC News, the network is considering the possibility of ending the show and replacing it with an extended version of 'Good Morning America.'
'The brass at ABC feels like they've tried to do everything possible to breathe new life into this show,' said the insider. They moved it from ABC Entertainment Daytime to the ABC News division, that was having so much success with Good Morning America.

Chipotle pulls pork: Restaurant suspends carnitas in 500 stores
Chipotle says it stopped serving pork at hundreds of its restaurants after suspending a supplier that violated its standards.
Chris Arnold, a spokesman for the burrito chain, told The Associated Press it's the first time the company stopped serving a topping for its burritos and bowls.
He said Chipotle learned of the violation by the supplier on Friday through a routine audit, and did not have a timeline for when carnitas would return to affected stores, about a third of its total base.
'It's hard to say how long it will last,' he said.

US Retail Sales Drop Most Since June 2012 (And Don't Blame Gas Prices)
But but but... US retail advanced sales dropped a stunning 0.9% MoM (massively missing expectations of a 0.1% drop). The last time we saw a bigger monthly drop was June 2012. Want to blame lower gas prices - think again... Retail Sales ex Autos and Gas also fell 0.3% (missing an exuberantly hopeful expectation of +0.5% MoM) and the all-important 'Control Group' saw sales fall 0.4% (missing expectations of a 0.4% surge). Boom goes the narrative.

Jodi Arias revealed few new details in closed-door testimony
Two months ago, convicted murderer Jodi Arias went in front of jurors and pleaded to be spared the death penalty for the brutal killing of her ex-boyfriend.
However, a judge's ruling allowed her to testify in secret and sealed her words from the public.
Transcripts of that testimony were released Tuesday, weeks after an appeals court threw out a judge's decision to bar the public from the courtroom while Arias was on the stand.
At the time, the judge explained the witness, whose name was then kept secret, was skittish and wouldn't testify in public. The release of the transcripts came after news organizations protested the closure.

As a result of that review, which examined a number of factors, including security issues, this man was unanimously approved for transfer by the six departments and agencies comprising the task force.
In accordance with statutory requirements, the secretary of defense informed Congress of the United States’ intent to transfer this individual and of his determination that this transfer meets the statutory standard.
The United States is grateful to the Government of Estonia for its humanitarian gesture and willingness to support ongoing U.S. efforts to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facility. The United States coordinated with the Government of Estonia to ensure these transfers took place consistent with appropriate security and humane treatment measures.
Today, 122 detainees remain at Guantanamo Bay.

Autistic boy suspended from college for kissing and hugging student
An autistic college student, 20, cried all day as he waited for a school bus that never came.
That's because he was suspended from his classes for 'sexual assault' on January 5 for hugging and kissing a stranger, says his troubled mother.
Brian Ferguson was in a special needs program at Navarro College in Waxahachie, Texas when he saw a woman in the hallway he thought he knew and went in to hug her and give her a friendly kiss, says mother Staci Martin.
'He gave her a hug and kissed her on the top of her head,' Martin said told NBC.

Russian billionaire 'is selling Brooklyn Nets amid financial concerns'
The Russian billionaire who owns the Brooklyn Nets has decided to sell the NBA team amid concerns about its financial losses and performance on court, according to reports.
Mikhail Prokhorov, 49, has apparently retained investment adviser Evercore Partners to sell his share of the basketball franchise, which he bought for a staggering $223million in May 2010.
The businessman, who is worth an estimated $11.1billion, currently holds 80 per cent of the Nets, as well as 45 per cent of the Barclays Center, the club's two-and-a-half-year-old arena in New York.
Of these, only the team is for sale, two sources close to the matter told Bloomberg News.

President Obama Sends Me A Letter
Remember a while ago I did an article about how someone thought it would be funny to add my name to a Democrat list and I started getting all these e-mail messages from the Democratic Party, including President Obama, Michelle, Joe Biden and others?
Well their trick backfired because for the past two years I've been getting direct information from their Party, watching them attack Conservatives and I'm not kidding when I tell you I get at least two e-mail messages a day, and up to five per day.
In each one of them they BEG for money, even after Obama was re-elected, they still keep asking for money in every message.
Well, about two months ago they sent me one saying they wanted to have President Obama send me a personalized letter with his signature on it. I thought, oh, what the heck. Let's see if they'll actually do it. I received the letter on 1-14-15.
Mr. Obama, no, "thank YOU for all that YOU have done, and will do" to keep me abreast of every underhanded BS message you have sent me personally for all this time.
I must say, the quality of the paper you provided was quite nice. Usually it takes more than that to start my fireplace. Watching that paper fire up and burn, well, that was so sweet. As Richard Prior would say, NOW THAT'S A FIRE!

GOP, with Dems’ Help, Takes First Swipe at Obamacare
As promised, the newly Republican-controlled Congress is about to take its first swipe at the president’s health care law.
Though many in the GOP would love nothing more than to repeal Obamacare in its entirety, doing so would be impossible as long as President Obama is in the White House. Instead, they’ve set their sights on systematically undoing some of the law’s most unpopular provisions—and it looks like the medical device tax may be the first to go.
On Tuesday, a group of 10 senators, including six Republicans and four Democrats, filed legislation that repeals the 2.3 percent excise tax on medical devices imposed under Obamacare. The levy is among a handful of taxes that help finance the health care law. The Joint Committee on Taxation has previously estimated that it will raise about $28 billion over the next decade.
The bipartisan bill sponsored by Sens. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) does not include how it will make up for the lost revenue. Still, it is perhaps one of the only realistic chances the GOP has to strip down a portion of Obamacare this year. It’s unclear whether the president would kill the bill with his veto pen, though the White House has threatened to veto a similar bill in the past.
The law’s medical device tax is a popular punching bag among Republicans and a handful of Democrats who live in districts with large medical device companies and factories. Opponents of the tax say it’s a job killer; they also claim the tax will ultimately get passed onto patients in the form of more expensive care.

Jailed lawmaker’s return brings Virginia Capitol more unwanted attention
Joseph D. Morrissey left his jail cell Wednesday morning and headed to a tiny office cluttered with boxes next to the state Capitol, where he took an oath of office to serve in the Virginia House of Delegates.
For the oldest continuous lawmaking body in the New World, this was new drama: a jailed legislator who makes laws by day on work release and gets locked up by night.
That has left the rest of the House wondering just what to do with Morrissey, a Democrat- turned-independent who is serving a six-month term stemming from his relationship with a then-17-year-old former receptionist at his law firm. He resigned his seat when he was convicted but won it back in a special election Tuesday.

URGENT: White House Makes Sickening Announcement About Their Plan to Censor the Media
President Barack Obama plans to use his bully pulpit to reinforce the extremist agenda of silencing opposition to radical Islamic terrorism, the White House announced on Monday.
Press secretary Josh Earnest claimed that the move was intended to sacrifice freedom of expression in order to protect American servicemen and women.
The irony inherent in the fact that those servicemen and women had taken an oath to defend that freedom of expression — as did the president himself — seemed completely lost on Earnest.
“The president … will not now be shy about expressing a view or taking the steps that are necessary to try to advocate for the safety and security of our men and women in uniform” if the White House feels that a given piece of journalism could offend Muslims and thereby provoke terrorist attacks.
Earnest made the statement while trying — lamely — to defend the Obama administration’s objections to free speech, specifically opposition it had voiced to anti-jihadi cartoons published in Charlie Hebdo in 2012.

Rev Up Your Engine as the Monster Truck Winter Nationals Returns to the WY&CC
Salisbury, Md. – Monster Trucks Winter Nationals returns to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury, Md. for three shows on Friday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. “This year we threw away the rule book and we’ll let the drivers turn the horsepower up on their trucks. Bigfoot, the most famous monster truck in the world, will return to fend off the competition. “We know when we come to race we are a target and everyone wants to beat us,” said Bigfoot driver J. R. Adams. Ready to take on Bigfoot this year are Monster Medic, Shockwave, Be Ware Monster, After Shock, Krazy Train and Saigon Shaker.
Saigon Shaker was built by The Metal Shop in Delmar, De. Also a sponsor of the event, The Metal Shop has been involved in the Monster Trucks Winter Nationals for years. “Rick Disharoon started in this business nearly 20 years ago with his Backdraft truck and we are excited to see their new truck,” said Beckley.

Maryland Lawmakers Discuss Upcoming Session, Budget Woes
CAMBRIDGE, Md. (AP) — State and local officials in Maryland are wondering what will be cut next due to budget challenges.
Two days after outgoing Gov. Martin O’Malley brought budget cuts to the Board of Public Works for the current fiscal year, leading lawmakers made forecasts Friday as to how Gov.-elect Larry Hogan and lawmakers will close an estimated $750 million deficit for the next fiscal year. Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller and House Speaker Michael Busch spoke on a panel at a conference of local officials about the upcoming budget challenges and where some of the needed savings might be found.
“Nothing is going to be sacrosanct, and we’re going to get through it,” Miller, D-Calvert, said at the Maryland Association of Counties conference, with less than a week before the start of the 90-day legislative session.
One potential budget target is the Geographic Cost of Education Index, a budget formula that sends extra state money to school districts in areas with higher education costs. Cutting the GCEI entirely would save the state about $126 million.

Dems Pull the Race Card on Education, Again
Liberals deploy the same old tactics to shoot down any attempts to curtail bad federal laws.
It has taken liberal school reformers almost no time at all to throw the race card into the debate about reauthorization of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2002.
Eager to retain an expansive federal role, but finding it tough to argue this position on the merits, liberal reformers have rushed to charge that the current effort to dial back the federal role is a thinly veiled attack on minority children.
Perhaps the best example of this phenomenon was provided just the other day by aDaily Beast column penned by Jonah Edelman, CEO of the education-advocacy group Stand for Children. Edelman is the scion of two liberal icons: Marian Wright Edelman, founder of the Children’s Defense Fund, and Peter Edelman, a Clinton-administration official who famously resigned to protest welfare reform. Jonah is also a friend and a smart guy, and Stand for Children has done some laudable work.
Unfortunately, that’s what makes his column so notable when it denounces any effort to reduce the federal role as a surrender to the forces of “racism, politics, ignorance, [and] indifference.” Edelman perfectly illustrates the problems with liberal-flavored school reform and its hollow calls for “bipartisanship.”

San Fran Fed's Williams: June Rate Hike 'Reasonable' Amid Job Gains
Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco President John Williams, who will vote on policy this year, said raising interest rates in June would be a close call amid “strong momentum” in the labor market and weaker wage gains.
“I would expect by June that the argument pro and con for lifting off rates will be probably a close call” assuming that inflation doesn’t fall further, Williams said in a telephone interview from his San Francisco office. “It’s a reasonable guess.”
His remarks dovetailed with earlier comments from Atlanta Fed chief Dennis Lockhart, also a voting member of the policy-setting Federal Open Market Committee this year, that rate liftoff in mid-2015 would probably be justified.

Mississippi Teen’s Burning Death Remains a Mystery More Than a Month Later
The reward for information in connection to the attack on a young woman in Mississippi who was allegedly set on fire and died shortly after has been increased to $43,000.
Reward money has come in from multiple sources since the Dec. 6 attack on 19-year-old Jessica Chambers, with the latest contribution of $25,000 from the FBI, officials said.
The U.S. Marshals Service contributed $10,000 early on in the search and Crimestoppers added $1,000, Panola County District Attorney John Champion told ABC News. The remaining $7,000 is made up by personal contributions.

The State Is a Crime
There are three types of “crimes”, however two of those should not be considered as such. Let me explain.
1) Crimes against so called natural rights, conferred by natural law. Natural rights are universal ethical rules, developed over thousands of years and e. g. to be found in the commandments of all large religions. These natural rights link the Non Aggression Principle (NAP) to the respect for private property- you shall not kill, steal, covet your neighbor’s house, use violence or offer violence against any other person except in self-defense etc. Nobody should be coerced into a contract and thus all contracts should be based on voluntariness. The victims of crimes against these natural rights are always individuals.
2) Crimes directed at the state with the state as “victim”. Examples are inter alia tax evasion, tax fraud, objection to military service (i.e. slave labor) and damaging or stealing state property.
3) Victimless crimes against state statutes and rules.
Let’s now scrutinize these three kinds of “criminal acts” more closely.

Hillary Clinton 'upset Bill Clinton's name has been linked to Epstein'
Bill Clinton's name being recently linked to registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has greatly upset his wife, according to a report published Thursday.
An unnamed source told Page Six 'Talk in Washington is that Hillary is furious with Bill about all this new information on Jeffrey Epstein.'
Court documents from 2011 describe Clinton's connection to Epstein, the news outlet reported. Epstein was convicted in 2008 for soliciting prostitution from a minor.
An excerpt of the documents, obtained by The Smoking Gun, said from 2002 to 2005 that 'Clinton frequently flew with Epstein aboard his plane, then suddenly stopped - raising the suspicion that the friendship abruptly ended, perhaps because of events related to Epstein's sexual abuse of children.

Larry Hogan, lawmakers agree to 'work together' as General Assembly opens
State leaders hammered the theme of bipartisanship Wednesday at the opening of Maryland's 2015 General Assembly Session in Annapolis, even as a $750 million budget deficit looms in front of a government that could become divided by party and priority.
Gov.-elect Larry Hogan set the tone before the House of Delegates and Senate officially opened at noon. Hogan, a Republican who will be inaugurated next week, appeared with the Democrat he beat in November's gubernatorial election, Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown.
Hogan later gave separate speeches to the Senate and House, both of which are populated largely by Democrats. He pledged to cooperate.

Wisconsin Senators Demand Investigation Into VA Facility
A VA medical facility in Wisconsin — known by veterans as “Candy Land” — is handing out record numbers of opiates, and punishing staff who disagree. Veterans are reportedly so high during therapy that they drool and burn themselves on cigarettes.
Sen. Tammy Baldwin and Rep. Ron Kind are demanding that Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald further investigate a report on the facility. The Center for Investigative Reporting originally broke the story on Friday, revealing that from 2004 onward, the number of prescriptions handed out has quintupled under the direction of chief of staff Dr. David Houlihan.
Staff members stated that Houlihan punished anyone who raised questions about lax prescription policies.
