The two children, Colette Hamilton 4 year old, and Cortez Hamilton Jr. 2 month old are safe and in the care of Indiana’s Division of Family Services. Troopers continue to search for the whereabouts of Keisha S. Hamilton as the Gold Alert remains in effect.
State Police investigators from Indiana and Delaware are working in conjunction to investigate the incident. At this time no other information is available as both agencies continue their investigation.
No photo of Cortez A. Hamilton Sr. is available at this time.

Troopers Investigate Fatal Crash South of Bethany Beach
Bethany Beach, DE - The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred south of Bethany Beach early this morning.
Preliminary investigation indicates the incident occurred around 3:35 a.m. Sunday, January 11, 2015, as Scott B. Bunting, a 39-year-old male from Selbyville, was operating a 1971 Chevrolet Malibu. Bunting was traveling south on Double Bridges road north of Parker House road two miles south west of Bethany Beach at an apparent high rate of speed. While Bunting approached a sharp right curve with a warning and reduced speed sign posted, he locked the brakes in an effort to slow, but slid off the east side of the road and struck a tree head-on.
The 39-year old driver, who was not properly restrained, was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple traumatic injuries.

SHERIFF ARPAIO INVITES AL SHARPTON TO UNDERGO USE OF FORCE SCENARIO
Law enforcement officers face danger every day. FOX 10 had the opportunity this week to take a well-known valley activist who is critical of police through a use of force drill with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
That story went viral online, and now Sheriff Joe wants to take it even further. He’s asked what some say is the best known minority-rights leader in the country to come to Arizona and take part in the same use of force drill.
Rev. Jarrett Maupin went from leading a protest against police to walking a mile in their shoes, taking part in a shoot/don’t shoot scenario with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
“I feel like you need to comply,” said Maupin after a drill.

Bob Ehrlich: A few words of advice for Larry Hogan
So you are Larry Hogan, a successful small businessman who took a shot in deep-blue Maryland and won an election for governor against all odds.
Your political skills are considerable, having inherited same from your father, who had been a county executive and U.S. congressman. But now you find yourself the chief executive of a $40 billion enterprise, having never before served in public office.
Election-night euphoria has given way to the realities of being a governor-elect, particularly the heavy lifting that is “transition.” A new government needs to be pieced together in two months under the watchful eye of media still trying to figure out who you are and what you’re going to do.
Complicating matters are the countless phone calls, e-mails and texts from campaign supporters looking for that invite or job-appointment or favor. That’s the easy part. What to do with those who spent the past year trying to take you down but now scramble to cover their tracks in this era of divided government? They, too, now want to be “in” with the new administration.
The public mood (especially in the Baltimore suburbs) is supportive. The Republican base is expectant. Even some left-of-center types are willing to wait and see; seems even they could not stomach the thought of four more years of tax (a lot) and spend (more). Most important, an unknown number of successful Marylanders have placed on hold their plans to move to a more favorable environment — and all because of one election.
In Annapolis, an initial series of strong Cabinet appointments has been well received, and Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller (D-Calvert) and House Speaker Michael E. Busch (D-Anne Arundel) have been generally positive in their public comments.
But three significant challenges present themselves.

Matt Holloway (and the Daily Times): Stop Backstabbing Bob Culver
We should not be surprised that Matt Holloway, who supported Rick Pollitt's effort to remain Wicomico County's Executive, is making pointed comments in the mainstream media about the person who made that effort unsuccessful. A recent article in the Daily Times quotes Mr. Holloway as being displeased with Bob Culver's moves to change the direction of the county government by delaying funding for planning a new school and firing Lee Beauchamp as the County's Public Works Director.
No doubt the Daily Times found it easy to enlist Holloway in its effort to undermine Bob Culver, which began even before he took office as County Executive and very shortly after his election victory that took the Daily Times by surprise. Matt Holloway has been distant, politically, from Bob Culver – in essence, Holloway is Republican in name only. But there may be more to the matter than meets the eye.
Holloway and family have farm land on which they could possibly sell a preservation easement to the state. At present, because of the County’s zoning code, the state won't play ball. If Pollitt had been reelected, his efforts stop further development might have been successful, and resulted in a big payday that may now be pie-in-the-sky.
The Daily Times is stopping at nothing in its attempt to disparage Bob Culver. The article mentioned above, besides quoting Holloway's critical comment, quotes John Cannon's reaction that the firing of Beauchamp and the County's finance director (Andrew Mackel) "came as a shock". The article also suggests that Culver was wrong to fire Beauchamp because two years earlier he had moved and voted to confirm Beauchamp's appointment by Rick Pollitt. Does anyone at the newspaper realize that since then Beauchamp may have destroyed employee morale at the Public Works Department and that, as county executive, Bob Culver may have become more familiar with Beauchamp’s competence for the position or lack thereof and his performance?
The article even suggests that Beauchamp was a good person for the position because of his friendship with Matt Holloway and Jake Day. No, I’m not making this up.
Elections make a difference, and Bob Culver is not required to explain in detail why he has dismissed certain department heads or to refrain from doing so because it displeases Mr. Holloway or the Daily Times or shocks John Cannon. They need to get over what happened in the election and stop backstabbing Bob Culver.

TRANSITION TEAM ANNOUNCED
Salisbury, MD… Wicomico County Executive Bob Culver has announced he has recruited a group of skilled individuals to serve as his “transition team” as he settles in to his new position.
“Since the County Charter makes no provisions for an official “transition” during a change in Executive, not as much was accomplished during the month between the election and the swearing-in ceremony as I had hoped,” Culver said. “Then the holidays were upon us. I want to gain as much detailed knowledge about how Wicomico is functioning – what is working and what isn’t – as soon as possible.
By using a “transition team”, it will speed up the process of research and analysis of fiscal issues; policies and procedures; and function and structure of County government. The members will conduct in-depth reviews and audits of our largest departments as well as advise on other critical issues, all pro bono. Their expertise, reputation for fairness, and concern for Wicomico County will not only provide great insight and wisdom, but will generate fresh ideas for moving our County forward.
The following people have agreed to serve on the team:
- Gail Bartkovich - retired member of County Council
- Ron Boltz, MBA, President/CEO Alarm Engineering; 2nd Vice Chair Greater Salisbury Committee; Sunrise Rotary, Trinity UMC Homeless Project
- Robert Eaton, J.D. with Honors; Hearing Examiner WCBOE 2012 to date; City Solicitor for Salisbury 1986-1999; Chair, Wicomico County Ethics Commission 1986-2012
- Edwin Heatwole, Principal Engineer - AWB Engineers; retired Wicomico County Public Works
- Brian Kilgore, MBA; Owner, Eastern Shore Coffee and Water & Eastern Shore Self-Storage; served 6 years on Board of Education.
- Robert L. Moore, CPA; President and Managing Partner, Moore & Company, P.A.; 35 years experience; chairs numerous non-profit Boards and Committees, including for BOE and County.
- John Terrell, Real Estate Sales; retired Deputy Director, Recreation, Parks & Tourism, Wicomico County
In addition to analyzing departments, this group will make recommendations on the re-branding of the County and social issues like the heroin epidemic and homelessness.
“We have met twice so far and the meetings have been very productive,” said Culver. “This is a group that I trust and that has the best interest of Wicomico County at heart. As business owners and community and civic leaders, they have so much knowledge and experience to share. I am humbled and honored by their service”.

Obama wants community college to be free
That's what President Obama said he would like to see in an announcement the White House posted to Facebook and Vine on Thursday.
He's proposing to make the first two years of community college free.
"Everyone understands that education is the key to success for our kids in the 21st century, but what we also understand is that it's not just for kids. We also have to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to constantly train themselves for better jobs, better wages and better benefits," the president said.

Should A College Degree Guarantee A Decent Paying Job?
If College Students and or their Parents have to GUARANTEE Student Loans, should the Federal Government, (who backs these loans) provide a guaranteed income IF these Students can't find a job?
Let's say by the time you are all said and done you have invested close to $100,000.00 in education, between property taxes and student loans. Would YOU spend $100,000.00 on something that will NOT work?
Teachers are claiming left and right that they do a great job. OK, prove it. Shouldn't the LIBERAL Government give them some kind of investment security?
The Government can set up a percentage of Teachers income, (Unions) into a guarantee a job program. Liberals have already created a work environment that you must have a degree to get a job, PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS!
Parents and Students are quickly learning that a college degree pretty much isn't worth a damn. Oh sure, every so often you hear of someone who made a fortune or really excelled well but it's like hitting the lottery any more these days. It's a scheme.
Liberals keep electing leaders to enlarge government. They succeed simply by raising taxes so there is some kind of jobs out there. Who's the biggest employer in the United States these days, government. Rather than elected officials being accountable for stabilizing local economies and in fact building the private sector with economic development, they grow government instead. They create new demands that if you want a decent paying job you must have a degree.
OK, GUARANTEE these graduates jobs then. Let it HURT government just as bad as We the People are being hurt by increased taxes. Let it PROVE that their system is truly failing us. Once EVERY single taxpayer sees that this is a huge scam, maybe then they will finally rebel. Just remember, what is your BIGGEST tax burden in each County, education. It's time we do it right.
Divide up each and every grade school. Provide testing that will divide two sets of students. A & B students in one section and C to E students into another. In the A&B classes, guarantee them a job OR income once they graduate college. This will finally encourage PARENTS to get off their rear ends and make damn sure that their children work hard at their education. WOW, accountability, HOW DARE I EVEN SUGGEST IT!
Then you can pay TEACHERS accordingly. Or should I say, reward Teachers who actually perform better then others. Uh Oh, there goes that accountability thing again, HOW DARE I. Imagine that, parents, students and teachers finally being accountable, all in one.
Finally, some students should be left behind. Some of us are not book smart and that is nothing to be ashamed of. Maybe we should have more Trade Schools. Without carpenters, plumbers, electricians, mechanics, (you get my drift) where would America be today! Recognize that not every one should be pressured into going to college or ashamed that they simply cannot afford it.
Anyhow, I hope this opens some minds so we can enjoy some healthy debate on this matter. Broaden your thoughts. Tweak what I have started. Agree to disagree. I look forward to your thoughts.
In addition, remember Ladies & Gentlemen, we now live in a society in which every one is a winner. ALL children now win a trophy. What a sad society we live in today.

LOCAL MEDIA INSULTS OUR INTELLIGENCE
Aren’t you tired of it? The constant mistakes made by the local media who think they are SOOOOOO professional. I feel sorry for the people who don’t read SBYNEWS, because they only know the misrepresentations that they pick up from The Daily Times, WBOC and WMDT.
ONCE AND FOR ALL, to the Daily Times and WBOC – Bob Culver DID NOT fire Tamara Lee-Brooks. She was terminated the night before Culver was sworn-in, therefore it was done on Pollitt’s watch, not Culver’s. Why is that FACT so hard for the MSM to get? Culver did have plans to abolish the position, but the Pollitt regime acted FIRST! Rumor is it was done to help her with unemployment. For whatever reason, the FACT REMAINS, Pollitt did it!
Phil Davis of the Daily Times has repeatedly put in print that Culver “fired” Lee-Brooks. WBOC’s Bill Mich repeated that on the January 7th 6 p.m. news. If you believe in ACCURATE reporting, get your facts straight. If you want to be “investigative” reporters, ask Strausburg why Polllitt’s regime let her go at 7 p.m. the night before Culver’s swearing-in. Did they have a reason?
When it comes to the Transition Team press release, SBYNEWS printed it as it was received. In various online versions, Phil Davis has referred to the members as “county employees” and “elected officials”. That implies that current employees and current office holders are on the team. This is not so. There are two former employees who have been out of government for at least 3 ½ years, one of whom is a professional engineer, and the only “elected” official, is former Councilwoman Gail Bartkovich.
In an online list of the transition team members, Phil Davis edited out their credentials – MBAs, CPA, Juris Doctorate. I would think the credentials of the members are important, particularly if you are not familiar with the names. Davis ADDED to Robert Moore that he is Chair of the SU Foundation. Wonder why he felt the need to do that when he didn’t include civic activities for others? If you are going to print a story and are basing it on a press release – DON’T EDIT IT TO SUIT YOURSELF!!
How about the headline “Culver Continues Cleaning House”? So far, there was one let go by Pollitt, Mackes retired and Bob has terminated two. Davis reported both were terminated on Tuesday. Actually, Mackel was let go on Monday. Even if he were responsible for all 4, there are over 900 county employees counting part-time workers. I hardly think 4 employees leaving is “cleaning house”. Is it because 3 of them were department heads that it qualifies as a “house cleaning”? What don’t they call it that when the Governor replaces department heads?
Many of these things may seem inconsequential in the scheme of things. However, if you can’t be trusted to get the small details right, how can you be trusted with the big things? The problem is the media, particularly the Daily Times, is LIBERAL. They will do anything they can to make the Republican look bad, regardless of the fact their community VOTED HIM IN OFFICE. It is the WILL OF THE PEOPLE for change. Since Pollitt was the first Executive and a change in administration has not been experienced before, Culver is catching heat for doing what any newly Executive would do. This is how it works people – this is American politics! Of course, that doesn’t matter to the liberal media. These people don’t report “news”, they report their SPIN.
If you think I’m wrong, why do they continue to use pictures of Bob in his restaurant in a casual shirt? He is the COUNTY EXECUTIVE, if they can’t respect the man, at least show some respect for the office. They have professional photos they could use. What is their subliminal message – that Bob continues to work at the restaurant? NOT TRUE! He arrives at the County office building by 6:30 a.m. on most days and doesn’t get back home to well after 7 p.m. most nights. So why, a month after he was sworn-in, do we keep seeing photos of him at his restaurant. PEOPLE DON’T BE FOOLED BY WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO DO!
If you want the truth and the facts and don’t want re-hashed news that is a couple days old, keep coming to SBYNEWS.

Revenge attacks begin as mosques come under fire in France
Revenge attacks on Muslim places of worship have begun in France following yesterday's massacre at the office of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris.
Mosques, prayer halls and a kebab shop near a Muslim temple were targeted in the early hours of the morning following the terrorist attack - in which 12 people were murdered by suspected Islamist fanatics.
The retaliation comes as French citizens, and the international community, attempt to come to terms with yesterday's shocking and deadly assault on free speech.

New Crime Scene Scenario
Salisbury, USA
Victim: Officer, officer! That man just stole my purse!
Officer: Good morning ma’am, or does that pronoun offend you. If so, please advise me of the correct pronoun I may use in order to not....
Victim: Officer, you're not listening to me! That man stole my purse.
Officer: That gentleman across the street?
Victim: Yeah, that's him.
Officer: Okay, let me go talk to him.
Victim: He's a big guy, don't you want some help?
Officer: Oh no, anything that might give the appearance of a show of force isn't allowed.
Officer leaves to talk to the alleged suspect and then returns:
Officer: Is it a red purse with black trim and brass colored clasp with the initials MS on the side?
Victim: That's it, my name is Mary Smith and those are my initials. That's my purse.
Officer: I figured it was yours, he doesn't look like the purse type. The problem is he doesn't want to give it back.
Victim: Well, arrest him, he robbed me of that purse. He punched me, knocked me down and then took my purse. Look at this bruise on my arm, and I'm bleeding from my forehead.
Officer: I'm afraid I can't do that. He said he wouldn't allow me to arrest him. I can call the EMS folks though to treat you for your injuries. There will be a fee of course.
Victim: What??!! You have to arrest him. He committed a robbery and I'm the victim. I demand you arrest him.
Officer: I'm afraid I can't do that. He said he would fight if I tried to arrest him and our new Rules Of Engagement don't allow us to confront a hostile suspect.
Victim: Rules Of Engagement? What the hell is that?
Officer: Basically it means if the alleged suspect offers any resistance, or even says he will resist, our Rules Of Engagement say we shall not "engage". It's really quite simple and it makes our job much simpler. No more fights, no violence involved and everyone is much safer that way aren't they?
Victim: But he robbed me and he's standing right there, you mean you can't do anything?
Officer: Oh, whether or not I could do something doesn't matter. I'm not allowed to confront a possibly hostile suspect. Perhaps you could talk to him and see if he will come down to the precinct house and turn himself in.
Victim: That's it? That's all you can do?
Officer: Well, I can give you our website and you can make a report of this alleged crime. It's a really neat website, designed by the same folks that did that Affordable Care site And I'd be glad to give you the office phone numbers for Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Eric Holder.
Victim: Will they do anything?
Officer: Not really, they're only interested if I do something.
Victim: Well did you at least get his name so I know who the bad guy is when I make this report?
Officer: No, he didn't want to give me his name, and gosh all I can do is ask.
Victim: This is incredible. He's just standing over there like he knows nothing will be done about this.
Officer: I know. Happens all the time now. Well, have a nice day and call any time, we're here to help.
Victim: But officer.
Officer: You'll have to excuse me, I have to go apologize to that gentlemen for disrupting his day.

Pride On The Plaza?
If you're going to revitalize the Salisbury Downtown Plaza and encourage thousands of people to visit, show some pride and take care of it.
Clearly this particular structure has seen a lot of vehicle crushing it. Put a couple of poles there or simply remove it. Go Figure.

Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind
I think it is awesome that some people are investing into the Downtown Plaza. However, a stroll on Thursday unfortunately revealed that the Plaza was more like a California Ghost Town.
New Signs All Over Downtown Salisbury
A Comment Worthy Of A Post 1-10-15
To all the people pontificating on the fact that Culver may have the right to terminate department heads, but doing so showed bad judgment (Mike Dunn are you reading this?), please consider this. Just because you are personal friends with someone or have a public perception of how they are doing their job, it does not mean that perception is reality. Culver is privy to information those posting and opining are not privy to especially the media. He also has a very accomplished transition team that are capable of separating facts from fiction. I am willing to give them all the benefit of the doubt, why can't you? You are doing a terrible disservice to Wicomico County by saying his decisions are politically based. None of us know the information Culver may have. To assume his decisions are politically motivated only makes the proverbial @ss out of you and me. The fact that Culver supported the hiring of Beauchamp and now has terminated him indicates to a normal person (one who isn't working an agenda) that something happened that caused Culver to change his opinion. Are you so blinded by your own politics that you can't even consider that there may be something you don't know? Dunn says he wants Culver to succeed. If true, he should have considered the fact that he may not know all there is to know instead of saying "we don't do that here". I get it. You are friends with these people. That fact doesn't mean Culver's decisions weren't in the best interest of the county.
Foreign Workers Eyed To Help With Bus Driver Shortage
OCEAN CITY – The town will be looking to the foreign workforce to ease its need for additional bus drivers during the summer season.
Last month the Transportation Commission discussed recruitment opportunities to hire much needed bus drivers for the summer season. In broadening the hiring pool, the commission voted to make bus driver requirements less stringent.
The town’s former requirements included hiring bus drivers that were at least 21 years of age, driving experience of at least five years and no more than four points on their license.
The commission agreed to lower the age requirement to 20, reduce driving experience to four years and to review driving records on a case-by-case basis.

A Letter To The Editor: Motorcycle accident story
You did a story in September about a friend of mine who was killed in a motorcycle accident on Route 50. The person that hit her was Taylor Morrison, who happens to be the son of the Mayor of Pokomoke City. It has been four months and so far no charges have been filed, not even a ticket for negligent driving. This really bothers me. I was wondering if you could do a follow up story on this and see if we can find out anything about what is going on with this case.
Will this Latest News Mean that We’ll Soon Have to Endure a Senator Michelle Obama?
Last year, there was speculation that Democrat California Senator Dianne Feinstein would retire from the Senate, choosing not to run for re-election in 2018, in order to pave the way for a possible Michelle Obama Senate run. This news came after California real estate agents said that the Obamas were buying a house in California.
Although this was never confirmed, the real estate agents were very specific about the home being purchased.

Although this was never confirmed, the real estate agents were very specific about the home being purchased.
Rumor has it that, after they leave 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Barack and Michelle Obama will be moving to the posh, gated community called Rancho Mirage in California. While the Obamas deny it, local real estate agents claim that the Obamas are indeed in escrow on a home within a neighborhood where Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, and Bing Crosby once lived.

JUST IN: Justice Department intervenes in Redskins trademark protection lawsuit
The U.S. Department of Justice on Friday intervened in the court fight over whether Washington’s football team should be able to legally trademark the name “Redskins,” saying in a brief that it will defend the government against Washington’s claim that a law preventing the trademarks is unconstitutional.
Attorney General Eric Holder has called the team’s name “offensive,” but the Justice Department is not taking a position on whether the name should be changed. Rather, it is intervening solely “for the limited purpose of defending the constitutionality” of federal trademark laws, according to the brief it filed Friday in the U.S. District Court of Eastern Virginia (via Zoe Tillman).
The court case resulted from a government decision in June that invalidated six of the team’s federal trademark protections in June. In that decision, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeals Board ruled that the use of “Redskins” was “disparaging to Native Americans” and thus violated Section 2(a) of the federal trademark law known as the Lanham Act, which prohibits the government from offering trademark protections for disparaging terminology.

Question Of The Day 1-9-14
Since the price of gas has come down, have you noticed any reduction in prices on any products in any stores?
Salisbury Mayor & Leaders Make Foolish & Risky Decision
I know the picture is large but I just had to share this with all of you.
Yesterday my Grandson and I took a stroll Downtown.
We walked through the Downtown Plaza heading east towards Rt 13, (as shown above). As we stood on the corner, ALL of the lights were green, yet ALL of the signs said, Do Not Walk.
Now, if you look at the traffic light straight ahead on the left, it's green. If you look at the one on the right, (north and south traffic) it too is green.
So now your riding your bicycle, skateboard or even walking with a stroller or jogging and you see a GREEN light ahead, what happens if you just proceed? After all, the traffic light is green and your going at a decent speed, you'll make it, RIGHT? It's certainly not yellow/amber!
I'd like to know just who decided to place a TRAFFIC light in the EAST bound direction when this is a ONE WAY STREET?
Yeah, it certainly was your election to lose!

De Blasio slams cops for ‘disrespect’ despite his wife wearing jeans to funeral
While thousands of present and former members of the New York City Police Department have recently displayed their displeasure and anger at Mayor Bill de Blasio by turning their collective backs on him, the mayor fired back by referring to those officers as “disrespectful,” but made no mention of his wife sporting denim blue jeans to the funeral of assassinated Detective Wenjian Liu this past Sunday.
As reported by The Washington Post on Jan. 5, 2015, accompanied by his ever present Police Commissioner Bill Bratton, the city’s mayor Bill de Blasio (real name, Warren Wilhelm, Jr.) verbally opened fired at the numerous members of the NYPD who have turned their backs on him in recent appearances. As de Blasio stated, the offending officers were “disrespectful to the families involved. They were disrespectful to the families who had lost their loved ones. I can’t understand why anyone would do such a thing in the context like that.”

This New Picture Against #BlackLivesMatter Rioters Is Going Viral and for a Good Reason
If there is a more divisive slogan to have come out of the aftermath of the untimely deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner than “Black Lives Matter,” I don’t know what it is.
It would be so simple to use “All Lives Matter” and at least have the opportunity to unite the entire country behind their cause instead of furthering a racial divide that they claim to denounce.

Obama won’t call Paris attack ‘Islamic’
Attackers shouted 'the prophet has been avenged,' 'Allahu akbar'
NEW YORK – In response to the attack on the Paris magazine that published editorial cartoons mocking Islam, President Obama reluctantly classified it as an act of terrorism while refusing to associate it with Islam.
“I strongly condemn the horrific shooting at the offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris that has reportedly killed 12 people,” Obama said in a carefully worded statement released by the White House press office.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this terrorist attack and the people of France at this difficult time. France is America’s oldest ally and has stood shoulder to shoulder with the United States in the fight against terrorists who threaten our shared security and the world.”

Rehoboth Man Charged with 3rd Offense DUI after Crashing into State Police Vehicle
Millsboro, DE – Troopers have arrested a 44-year-old Rehoboth Beach man for his 3rd offense DUI after he struck a state police cruiser.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. this morning, Wednesday January 7, 2015 as Eric T. Biase, 44 of Rehoboth Beach was operating a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer southbound on DuPont Boulevard (US113) preparing to turn westbound on Millsboro Highway (SR24). EX-FBI AGENT'S EPIC OPEN LETTER TO ERIC HOLDER STUNS ADMINISTRATION
Here is the letter:

College Station, Texas
December 28, 2014
Attorney General Eric Holder
U.S. Department of Justice
950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20530-0001
Dear Attorney General Holder,
It is unlikely that we met while I served in the FBI. That being said, we served at the Department of Justice (DOJ) during the same years and on the same “team” conceptually speaking. During my service in the FBI I worked with a number of U.S. Attorney Offices in the United States to include a tour at FBIHQ where I worked with the Department of Justice (Main) on a daily basis.
I begin my letter with this comment to highlight that I am not a bystander on the topic of law enforcement in the United States. I worked and managed a variety of federal investigations during my 12 years of service in the FBI, to include the management of several Civil Rights cases in the State of Texas. In fact, during my last tour in the Bureau, I was an FBI Supervisor responsible for managing federal investigations in nine (9) Texas counties, many of which were rural; in places where one would suspect racism to flourish given the narrative often pushed by Hollywood and urban progressive elites like yourself. I performed this mission diligently and under the close supervision of two FBI managers; an Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) and Special Agent in Charge (SAC,) both of which happened to be African American and outstanding law enforcement professionals. I also performed this mission serving side by side with a variety of law enforcement agencies at the Federal, State and local level.

Wicomico County Gets Michael Pretl's Farewell Address
And just who, some may ask, is Michael Pretl? A lawyer who surfaced here about 10 years ago after a career on the Western Shore and an ultra-liberal Democrat activist whose endeavors have stifled growth and development under the umbrella of the Wicomico Environmental Trust among other things.
His electoral efforts have been less successful. Some years ago, when he lived in her councilmanic District, he lost to Gail Bartkovich, and this year he failed in his bid for the Democrat Central Committee. Also, he was the campaign guru for Ronald Pagano, the dirt ball who terminated his candidacy for the County Council prior to the primary election after his odious record was exposed by this blog.
Mr. Pretl, as the current and now outgoing president of the Wicomico County Democrat Club, is at least partially responsible for the drubbing of his party in last year's county election due in large part to the quality and views of its candidates -- besides Pagano, the likes of Josh Hastings, Laura Mitchell and Rick Pollitt – backed by those who control the Democrat party in Wicomico County and have supported Pretl.
In his party role, Mr. Pretl has just issued an absurd statement, which of course has been published in the Daily Times, speculating that the Democrats will "re-ascend to a leadership role” after “Republicans have had their turn at governing." His pompous palaver opens with a nonsensical notion that "Democrats are the party of optimism" and "believe in productive, cost-effective government."
Mr. Pretl apparently believes that his Democrat comrades have an unquenchable thirst for his hemlock infused Kool-Aid.

Black Panthers To “Build Up Army” To Kill Cops In 2015
The former leader of the New Black Panther Party said his group will “build up an army” in the new year to battle with police and said there will be events that are “gonna seem tragic to white America and may even shock our own consciences.”
On Malik Zulu Shabazz’s radio program, he called on his followers to “build up that army. Right now it’s time for us to build up those corps, those troops. It’s time to get strong. It’s time for lifting weights and working out and going to the gun range and all of that.”
Among the things that will “shock” consciences is the murder of police officers, WND.com is reporting.
“Sadly because America won’t do justice to black people, more and more people are going to lose balance and go off, and so we’re going to have funerals. Mike Brown gonna have funerals, Eric Garner in New York,” Shabazz said. “All over the country, we’re having our funerals, but now they must put on their dress blues and have their funerals, too. It’s a helluva day in this hour.”

Breastfeeding Woman, Casino Differ On Why She Was Asked To Leave Property
BERLIN – The story of a Pennsylvania woman who says she was kicked out of the Casino at Ocean Downs for breastfeeding her infant has gone viral.
Proponents of breastfeeding have swamped the Casino at Ocean Downs’ Facebook page with comments in support of Alanna Panas, a Pennsylvania mother who says she was forced to leave the casino lobby because she was breastfeeding her seven-week-old daughter.
“I have the right to breastfeed my child,” Panas said. “I wasn’t disturbing anyone. I wasn’t even in the casino.”
Panas said she has received support from mothers all over the world since several breastfeeding related Facebook groups have shared her story.
According to Panas, after going out to dinner on Jan. 3, she and her family decided to visit the casino. She and her boyfriend went in and left seven-week-old Lilly with Panas’ mother and sister to run some errands. When they returned, Lilly was hungry so Panas went outside to feed her. It was raining, and because their car was full of children’s car seats and her boyfriend had his car keys inside the casino, she took Lilly into the lobby to wait for him.

Malia Obama shows her support for anti-cop rap group
Oh those teenagers. Always trying to do things to shock their parents. In fact it’s a rare teen who doesn’t proclaim beliefs contrary to what her folks are trying to instill.
Obviously 16-year-old Malia Obama is one of those very rare teens. Here she is pictured in a t-shirt supporting an anti-white cop gangsta rap group called Pro Era. Already following in her proud papa’s footsteps.
For those of you not in the know (me included) the lead vocalist of this group, Joey Bada$ was “arrested and charged with assault after punching a security guard in the face when the guard asked to see his credentials before a show in Australia. Bada$ broke the man’s nose in the altercation at the Falls Festival near Byron Bay. He was granted bail and is due back in court in March.”
Here are the fine young men who make up the group.

Calling Out Mayor Jim Ireton And Police Chief Barbara Duncan
Most recently I personally called out the Mayor and Salisbury Chief of Police as they had gone to WMDT to expose a Missing Person, (not the one listed above).
I was pretty upset because as all of you know, WMDT has probably the least amount of traffic and in my opinion it is more important that EVERYONE receive any and all public notices.
Nevertheless, I want Jim and Barbara to see a SAMPLE of just how well Salisbury News works. The other day we published this missing person. It received, (ON SBYNEWS.COM ALONE) almost 76,000 views. It was also SHARED almost 600 times.
Now, I challenge ANY of you, WBOC, WMDT and the Daily Times to show us ANYTHING close to what we deliver. I want our elected officials and our viewers to see for themselves just how effective we are.
Come on now, this wasn't even a child or a popular person. STOP playing politics and accept the FACT that Salisbury News is by far the #1 source for local news and information on the entire Eastern Shore. If ANY of them actually cared about this community they'd put their differences aside for the good of the community.
There's no trickery or lies here, just documented facts. If ANY of you had wondered WHY I have an issue with certain elected officials and department heads, now you know why.

JUST IN: Texas police officer who Tased 76-year-old man fired after investigation
A Victoria police officer who used a Taser on a 76-year-old man has been fired after an investigation.
We first told you about the story and the dash cam video back in December. The video shows Officer Nathanial Robinson, of the Victoria Police Department, arresting Pete Vasquez on Dec. 11 for displaying an expired inspection sticker. But in the process, Robinson suddenly throws Vasquez onto the hood of his police car, then tackles the elderly man to the ground and shoots him with a Taser gun twice.
Vasquez was taken to the hospital, where he was released after a medical evaluation.

Wicomico County: Where Are Total Property Taxes Highest?
If you said "Salisbury" you get no cigar. To be sure, after 15 or so years of Barrie Tilghman and Jim Ireton as mayor and the Day duo (Michael and Jake), Gary Comegys, Mikey Dunn, Louise Smith, Shanie Shields and Laura Mitchell on the city Council, plus 8 years of Rick Pollitt as County Executive and his allies on the Council (Stevie Prettyman, Matt Holloway, John Hall and Sheree Sample-Hughes), the total tax rate has soared in Salisbury, which now ranks fifth highest among the largest towns in Maryland – see the table for details.
But, Fruitland, which has had a double whammy of Rick Pollitt as its town manager before he became County Executive, now has an even higher total tax rate. Only Baltimore City and three towns in Prince George's County have a higher property tax burden than that in Fruitland, which is $1.8686 per $100 of assessed value. That's nearly 2% and beats the total tax rate in Salisbury, $1.7926 in 2014, but not by very much.
These data demonstrate the devastation that's been done by the local Democrat "leadership" in Wicomico County together with the RINO’s named above. And now, Ireton wants a new countywide tax for fire and EMS services in addition to the rain tax he and Jake Day have just inflicted on Salisbury property owners that is not reflected in the above data.

Once again it is ONLY Salisbury News who delivers this kind of information. Factual and Documented. Now, if you want to know more about Dover and Wilmington then I strongly suggest and recommend you go to the Daily Times, WMDT or WBOC.
