More than 30 MILLION debit and credit card records stolen from hack on convenience store Wawa are being sold on the dark web in what researchers call one of the biggest breaches of all time

Credit and debit card information stolen in a major breach of a US convenience store have now surfaced on the dark web where they're being sold on a black market.

According to the cyber security firm Gemini Advisory, the stolen data is being sold on a black marketplace called Joker's Stash and includes more than 30 million debit and credit records hoovered from hundreds of stores in the US.

'Since the breach may have affected over 850 stores and potentially exposed 30 million sets of payment records, it ranks among the largest payment card breaches of 2019, and of all time,' write researchers.

How long will Trump's acquittal take? A day, or maybe days

Senate Republicans said Friday the final votes to acquit President Trump of two articles of impeachment could drag into Saturday, or longer, if lawmakers agree to a lengthy final debate.

The Senate is expected to defeat a motion late this afternoon to call additional witnesses in the trial, clearing the way for final consideration of the abuse of power and obstruction of Congress charges hanging over the president.

While Trump is certain to be acquitted, Democrats are likely to insist at that point on further deliberations, in public, that allow each senator a time to speak publicly about the case against the president for up to 10 minutes.

That could take days.

RETIRING DEPUTY CHIEF STATE FIRE MARSHAL             LEAVES 29-YEAR LEGACY

STATEWIDE (January 31, 2020) - After more than 29 years of service to the State of Maryland, Deputy Chief Fire Marshal Joseph Flanagan retired today from the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
Deputy Chief Flanagan was born and raised in The Bronx of New York City and moved to Salisbury in 1988 to attend Salisbury University. Coming from a long family history in the fire service, including his father, who was the Deputy Chief Fire Marshal of New York City Fire Department, Flanagan embarked on his career on May 16, 1990, when he was hired by former State Fire Marshal Rocco J. Gabrielle.
Flanagan graduated from the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy in September of 1990 and was assigned to the Lower Eastern Shore Office as a Deputy State Fire Marshal. In January 1999, Flanagan was promoted to Deputy Chief State Fire Marshal, commanding the same office he was initially assigned. In January 2005, after nearly a year in the acting capacity, former State Fire Marshal William Barnard promoted Flanagan to Chief Deputy State Fire Marshal. The role of Chief Deputy State Fire Marshal is a Field Operations Division management function involving the supervision and coordination of the agency's law enforcement activities in the field of fire prevention, fire safety inspections, fire investigations, and explosives control. Chief Deputy Flanagan was responsible for supervising five regions, the bomb squad, and the accelerants/explosives detection canine unit. He served as second in command to the State Fire Marshal and oversaw various administrative programs for the agency.
After nearly eight years, Flanagan voluntarily took the opportunity to return to his role as Deputy Chief of the Lower Eastern Shore Regional Office. During his tenure at the Office of the State Fire Marshal, Flanagan served as a K-9 handler as well as a Bomb Technician with the Bomb Squad. Flanagan served as Acting State Fire Marshal multiple times throughout his years as Chief Deputy.
Upon Flanagan being asked about his storied career and what he could pass on to future members of the agency after his retirement, "It's essential never to forget where you came from. While we don't live in history, history is where we came from. I have been honored to serve the State of Maryland, and I am forever grateful and appreciative of the opportunities and relationships during my career" stated Flanagan.

Bill Gates predicted a coronavirus-like outbreak - down to it starting at a Chinese market - in 2019 Netflix documentary show 'The Next Pandemic'

In a 2019 Netflix documentary, billionaire Bill Gates predicted a killer virus could originate in China's wet markets to rapidly infect the world

In what now appears to be an eerie premonition of future events, the Microsoft tycoon warned in an episode of the Netflix 'Explained' series that the world was ill-prepared to deal with a global pandemic.

In the series aired late last year Mr Gates had warned of the likelihood of a virus breaking out in one of China's wet markets - exactly like the one in Wuhan where this new outbreak of Coronavirus is believed to have originated.

Antifa plans massive anti-cop action in NY subways

Police in New York are increasing their presence in subways Friday after members of the far-left Antifa movement called for a mass protest against law enforcement and transit fares.

The Police Benevolent Association of New York City issued a strong warning ahead of Friday’s Antifa demonstration, urging New Yorkers to “pay close attention.”

“This is [the] true endgame of the anti-police movement, an end of all policing & destruction of public order,” the group said in a tweet. “Our members have spent their careers -- and in some cases given their lives -- to bring public safety back to NYC. We can't go backwards.”

Days earlier, an Antifa-backed social media account shared a video of three masked individuals accompanied by a tweet that read: “The streets are ours. The trains our ours. The walls are ours. This moment is ours.”

Pro-Life Super Bowl Ad Rejected by Fox

A pro-life group is reportedly calling out Fox Sports for blocking an ad the group wanted to run during Super Bowl.

Faces of Choice — which ran a 2-minute ad at this year's March for Life – claims its application to run a 30-second version was repeatedly stonewalled, LifeSite News first reported.

"We were one of the very first people to submit anything to them," Lyric Gillett, the pro-life group founder told the site. "We met every single stipulation that they asked for and every time we met the line they moved the line further to request something else."

She called the rejection "ironic."

"In an era where we’re trying to give survivors a voice, whether that is through the #MeToo movement or on any number of issues, for some reason we deem survivors of abortion worthy of being ignored into oblivion," she told The Washington Times.

Kentucky Attorney General Leads 17 States in Potential SCOTUS Abortion Case

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron (R) is leading 17 states in the filing of an amicus brief before the U.S. Supreme Court in support of an Indiana law that requires parents to be informed when their child is granted court approval for an abortion without their consent.

WDRB reported Cameron argues in the brief for Box v. Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky that states have an interest in protecting minors who are considering having an abortion.

As Breitbart News reported on January 2, Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill (R) asked the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold a measure signed into law in 2017, but never enacted, that requires parents to be notified when a minor who is granted court approval for an abortion, is about to have the procedure.

“Nothing in the U.S. Constitution prohibits Indiana from requiring parental notification when an unemancipated minor is getting an abortion,” Hill said in a press statement. “Even to get a tattoo, a minor in Indiana needs parental permission. Quite simply, parents have rights and responsibilities in the care and upbringing of a child.”

Attorneys General File Lawsuit Challenging Trump Administration Attack on Healthcare Access and Reproductive Rights

BALTIMORE, MD  – Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh today joined a coalition of seven states in suing the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for its unlawful reinterpretation of Section 1303 of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).  On December 27, 2019, HHS issued a final rule requiring qualified health plans participating in the state exchanges to separately bill for the portion of health insurance premiums attributable to abortion coverage.  The rule also requires consumers to make a separate payment of at least one dollar for these services or risk losing all of their healthcare coverage.  This requirement threatens women’s access to abortion and puts millions at risk of losing critical health insurance coverage.

“This rule is another attack by the Trump Administration on women’s constitutional right to make their own health care decisions.  It illegally erects barriers and increases costs for women exercising their reproductive rights,” said Attorney General Frosh.  “In Maryland we stand with our mothers, sisters, and daughters.  We will sue to protect them.”

The lawsuit highlights that the new rule is incompatible with the ACA’s requirement of equitable access to healthcare and disproportionately affects states, like Maryland, that are committed to ensuring comprehensive reproductive health care.  All of Maryland’s qualified health plans cover abortion services, and HHS itself has conceded that requiring separate bills and separate payments will inevitably lead to confusion.  This puts nearly 160,000 enrollees in Maryland at risk of losing coverage if they fail to make both premium payments on time.

The rule will also burden states with unnecessary administrative costs and harm consumers who could face higher insurance premiums because of increased costs to carriers.  For example, initial compliance is expected to cost all impacted insurance companies nearly $400 million, with another $100 million in estimated annual costs to maintain the separate billing and payment systems.  These excessive costs put pressure on insurers to remove abortion coverage from their plans and punish those Maryland insurers that cover abortion services.

In the lawsuit, the coalition argues that the rule is unlawful because it:
  • Imposes onerous and unnecessary regulatory barriers aimed at restricting women’s constitutionally protected right to access abortion care;
  • Seeks to frustrate state sovereignty by coercing states to change their policies relating to the protection of abortion care;
  • Violates Section 1554 of the ACA, which prohibits the promulgation of any regulation that creates unreasonable barriers to the ability of individuals to obtain appropriate medical care; and
  • Exceeds HHS’s statutory authority under Section 1303 of the ACA.

Attorney General Frosh joined today’s lawsuit along with the attorneys general of California, the District of Columbia, New York, Maine, Oregon, and Vermont.

BREAKING: Coronavirus declared public health emergency in US

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar announced on Friday that the coronavirus has been declared a public health emergency in the U.S. Beginning at 5 p.m. on Feb. 2, U.S. citizens returning from Hubei province will be subject to a 14-day quarantine, while other Americans who traveled elsewhere in China will be instructed to self-monitor for possible symptoms.

Azar also said that President Trump is temporarily suspending entry into the U.S. for foreign nationals who pose a risk of transmitting the virus.

In the same press conference, the Department of Homeland Security announced that starting on Sunday, flights coming to the U.S. from China will be funneled through seven airports that are equipped to screen passengers for symptoms of the virus.

Officials continued to stress that the overall risk to the American public remains low, but that the measures being taken are to help "focus efforts as we are dealing with unknowns."

Just thought I'd give you a heads up about unique situation to be aware of:

I just ordered a replacement re-elect Trump flag from Amazon as gift for a friend, only to have received it with what appears to been someone deliberately spitting or dumping something all over it!
To say least I'm pretty angry and taking the issue up with Amazon. It's totally unacceptable and doesn't seem at all like an accident!

Amazing how low and ignorant liberals are while self proclaiming to be such upstanding citizens. I utterly despise such hypocrisy!!

By all means if you order any such material from Amazon, I highly recommend checking it over immediately upon receiving it!!!!

UPDATE:

Here are the photos Joe. I thought your readership would be interested in this. It's truly a shame to see how the radical left chooses to act and stoop so low as hypocritical liars portending to be patriots. Hiding behind media propaganda they are more a symbol of the evil mentioned by Aldus Huxley that would come in the modern era in his book Brave New World.

These marks on this new flag are hardly an accident. Anyone in a shipping department with any sense whatsoever would NEVER send new merchandise to a customer in this condition. I'm sure they'll call it an accident when I finally make contact with my complaint.

But one thing I can assure you of, is that it WON'T be an accident if I decide to kick some liberals ass when they are out of line in my presence. Good thing for these folks who sent this flag that they are safely tucked away in their "safe space" like true cowards with no respect for others or themselves.

Evening News Spin: 100% Negative on Trump Defense, 95% Positive Dems

Before the Senate impeachment trial of President Donald J. Trump was gaveled into session, Chief Justice John Roberts presided over a swearing-in ceremony where all 100 senators pledged to be impartial jurors. The liberal media zeroed in on that pledge and decried Senate Republicans who seemed to be siding with the President.

But a Media Research Center study of broadcast evening news coverage of the opening arguments of both sides, found ABC, CBS, and NBC did not live up to the standard they demanded of Republicans.

They gave Democrats double the airtime and showered their arguments with mostly praise, while expressing only criticism of the President’s legal team.

US coronavirus evacuees being kept under 14-day quarantine, CDC says

The 195 passengers who arrived in California from Wuhan, China, on Wednesday will be kept under a 14-day quarantine as they are continually monitored for symptoms of coronavirus, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) officials said on Friday.

The evacuees, who are being temporarily housed at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside County, are not believed to "pose a threat" to other residents in the area, officials said.

Dr. Nancy Messonnier, director of the CDC's national center for immunization and respiratory disease, said the order was given under the authority of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and is the first the agency has issued in 50 years.

Pilots, flight attendants demand flights to China stop

Pilots and flight attendants are demanding airlines stop flights to China as health officials declare a global emergency over the rapidly spreading coronavirus, with American Airlines' pilots filing a lawsuit seeking an immediate halt.

China has reported nearly 10,000 cases and 213 deaths, but the virus has spread to 18 countries often by plane passengers.

The Allied Pilots Association (APA), which represents American Airlines pilots, cited "serious, and in many ways still unknown, health threats posed by the coronavirus" in a lawsuit filed in Texas, where the airline is based.

American said it was taking precautions against the virus but had no immediate comment on the lawsuit.
