Hordes of illegal intruders are trying to storm into our country, throwing rocks at border patrol agents and using children as human shields. Former Pennsylvania AG ordered to prison after conviction upheld
A Pennsylvania judge ordered the commonwealth's former attorney general to report to prison by 9 a.m. Thursday, more than two years after she was convicted for leaking grand jury information and lying about it.
Democrat Kathleen Kane, 52, had been free on $75,000 bail while she appealed her 10-to-23-month sentence. The state Supreme Court announced Monday that it had declined to take up her case.
"Given that the rationale for (the) defendant remaining at liberty pending appeal has expired, post-sentence bail is revoked,” Judge Wendy Demchick-Alloy write in ordering Kane to report to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. Demchick-Alloy formally directed the Lackawanna County sheriff to serve a copy of her order on Kane, who lives in Scranton.
Kane’s lawyer, Joshua Lock, has not responded to multiple messages seeking comment.
The Montgomery County district attorney’s office formally requested the order earlier Tuesday, arguing the Supreme Court decision was the end of the legal road for Kane.
"Two different appellate courts have reviewed her case, yet her judgment of sentence remains," District Attorney Kevin Steele wrote. "She received a fair trial, her guilt was proven beyond a reasonable doubt and now it is time for her to serve her sentence."
Kane was convicted of two counts of felony perjury and seven misdemeanors, including obstruction and conspiracy.

Farm Bankruptcies Soar In The Midwest
Eighty-four farms in the US Midwest region covered by the Minneapolis Fed’s Ninth District states (Minnesota, Montana, North and South Dakota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan) filed for chapter 12 bankruptcy in the 12 months that ended in June - more than twice the level observed in June 2014, according to a new report from the Federal Reserve, surpassing the prior peak hit just after the GFC.
"Current numbers are not unprecedented, even in the recent past, having reached 70 bankruptcies in 2010. However, current price levels and the trajectory of the current trends suggest that this trend has not yet seen a peak," Ron Wirtz, an analyst at the Minneapolis Fed, wrote.

Landowners Hail Property Rights Victory At Supreme Court In Frog Habitat Dispute
A unanimous Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that the Fish and Wildlife Service was wrong to designate a 1,500 acre tract of land in Louisiana as a “critical habitat” for the endangered dusky gopher frog, even though the species has not lived there for decades.
“I am really overjoyed that an eight to nothing court agreed with me that the service’s decision was absurd and nightmarish for property rights in the United States,” landowner Edward Poitevent told The Daily Caller News Foundation in a Tuesday interview.
“We all actually thought something like this would happen, but what’s really stunning is this is an eight to nothing decision,” Poitevent said.
The Fish and Wildlife Service told Poitevent in 2011 his land, which has been in his family for generations, would be listed as backup critical habitat for the dusky gopher frog, which hasn’t been seen there since 1965. The only known domain of the frogs was a single pond in southern Mississippi as of 2001, but the government said the Louisiana zone was the only other possible habitat it could identify.

DC Council Unanimously Votes For 100 Percent Renewable Energy
A bill that mandates all of Washington, D.C.’s electricity originate from renewable energy sources sailed through a preliminary vote on Tuesday, all but assuring the bill’s final passage.
The D.C. City Council voted unanimously in favor of an initial approval for the Clean Energy DC Omnibus Act of 2018, a bill that would require the nation’s capital transition to 100 percent renewable energy by 2032.
The bill calls for a number of other climate change-related reforms, such as toughening energy standards on buildings; promoting electric car use through vehicle excise taxes; and adding millions to a “Green Bank” that will fund various environmental projects.
The Green Bank initiative would be funded through higher utility bills. D.C. residents can expect to pay about $2.10 more per month on their gas bill and around $1 dollar more on their electricity rates. These fees are forecasted to add $15 million to the city’s Green Bank.

The arrest report from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office said Foster was arrested Saturday at 9:10 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Tampa and booked into jail two hours later. Foster’s bond was set at $2,000 during a bail hearing Sunday morning along with orders to avoid any contact with the alleged victim.
This wasn’t Foster’s first run-in with his alleged victim. He reportedly beat the same woman, Elissa Ennis, earlier this spring.

The death of a U.S. Army Ranger from Washington killed over the weekend while fighting al Queda in Afghanistan was likely the result of an accidental friendly fire by Afghan partner forces, according to military officials.
In a statement to ABC News by the NATO-led training mission, Resolute Support, an initial review of Sgt. Leandro Jasso's death found he 'was likely accidentally shot by our Afghan partner force.'
'There are no indications he was shot intentionally,' the statement added of the 25-year-old's death.
The November 24 incident occurred in Nimroz Province, in western Afghanistan, during a joint U.S-Afghan assault on al Qaeda positions.
Jasso was struck by small arms fire and was immediately evacuated to the nearest medical treatment facility. He later died of his wounds.

They say Google is tracking the location of its users and gets people to tun on their location settings with a combination of manipulative techniques.
Google uses location tracking on its Android operating system to improve search results and the location history is stored once a person activates the feature.
The complaints say complexities and a lack of transparency when setting up an Android device, hidden default settings, misleading and unbalanced information are all contributing to the issue.
The groups across the EU are claiming the firm is in breach of data protection rules brought in this year as part of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

If the U.S. economy really was “booming”, both of these companies would probably be thriving. But as you will see below, both of them have been victimized by the exact same Ponzi scheme, and both firms are sending us very clear signals that the U.S. economy is heading for troubled waters.
Whenever you hear the word “restructuring”, that is always a sign that things are not going well for a company.
And it turns out that GM’s “restructuring” is actually going to cost the firm 3.8 billion dollars…
General Motors said Monday it plans to effectively halt production at a number of plants in the U.S. and Canada next year and cut more than 14,000 jobs in a massive restructuring that will cost up to $3.8 billion.
Of course GM doesn’t have 3.8 billion dollars just lying around, and so they are actually going to have to borrow money in order to close these plants and lay off these workers.
Needless to say, President Trump is not very happy with General Motors right now…
Trump said he spoke Monday with GM’s CEO, Mary Barra, and ‘I told them, “you’re playing around with the wrong person”.’
He told reporters as he left the White House for a pair of political rallies in Mississippi that the United States ‘has done a lot for General Motors. They better get back to Ohio, and soon.’

Broward Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes Will Walk Away From Her Post With a Cushy Pension
Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes has come under fire for the numerous incidents of voter fraud and the lengthy recount process earlier this month. She finally decided to resign from her post after facing severe criticism. Now, it's coming to light that she will be receiving $11,000 a month in a pension. That equates to roughly $130,000 a year. France's own people finally are recognizing the folly of socialism's focus of economic power on the elite political leadership.
Europe disrespects and won't fully support our bold hard line against Iran's overt hatred of America and Western values. They also cheat about backing sanctions against N. Korea. They try to hide behind some vague anti- nationalist "globalist patriotism," which is really, at its core, their economic advantage-seeking. European political leaders seem blind with denial about Iranian religious fascism; Chinese communist economic aggression; and the social, political, and economic dangers involved with immigration as an economic threat to Western democracies.

Europe has taken advantage of America's generosity in funding too much of NATO expenses, too much of U.N. expenses, and our military nuclear power stick against Russia. Enough is enough!
