State Dept. hired lawyers from Clinton's law firm to handle emails

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte called on the State Department's inspector general Thursday to investigate why the agency hired a pair of lawyers from Williams and Connolly, the law firm representing Hillary Clinton, to handle Freedom of Information Act requests for her emails.

Catherine Duval and Austin Evers, the two lawyers, had no prior experience handling FOIA requests or classified document productions, the Virginia Republican said.

"At the very least, this suspect arrangement raises questions about the State Department hiring process," Goodlatte wrote to Steven Linick, the agency's inspector general.

"At worst, it suggests willful obstruction by handpicked Clinton associates at the State Department on behalf of former Secretary Clinton, to ensure damaging or incriminating documents never saw the light of day," he added.

Thank God Its Friday 10-21-16

What will you be doing this weekend?

A Comment Worthy Of A Post 10-21-16

Hey Joe, just to give you a heads up, on the west side of Salisbury, it looks like the Board of Education is urging people to vote yes to question 1 for an elected school board. Looks like they are scared of loosing their power! Counter signs need to go up to tell people to vote for an elected school board, chosen by the people of Wicomico County and not the BOE and the state of Maryland. I've attended the meetings. The BOE is out of control. The current system is taxation without representation!

Big Day Today

The fog this morning in Ocean City was pretty mild but I was told it was much heavier in Wicomico County.

Today we'll have a large amount of articles every seven minutes, (or so) between 8 AM to at least 1 PM.

We know very well that we have been bombarding all of you with a ton of articles but we certainly expect that to slow down quite a bit soon after the presidential election.

Nevertheless, have a great weekend.

Hillary Clinton's whole campaign is 'a giant criminal enterprise' says Newt Gingrich

Hillary Clinton and her family are operating one 'giant criminal enterprise,' former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich said Monday.

And the 'elite media, which really shouldn’t be considered news media,' are servicing the Clinton political machine, he argued.

'They are methodical propagandists for the left,' Gingrich told Fox News' Sean Hannity, 'smothering negative information about Hillary and maximizing negative information about Trump in a way that is a huge disservice to the United States of America and to the people of the United States.'

A Viewer Writes: “These Are Not the Droids You Are Looking For”

Remember the scene from Star Wars, the brief exchange between the Storm Troopers and Obi-Wan ‘Ben’ Kenobi where he influences their minds to make them think they didn’t see what they really saw? He tells them, “These are not the Droids you are looking for… Move along… He [Luke] can go about his business”

When Luke later asks how he did that, Ben replies “The Force can have a strong influence on the weak minded.”

How appropriate is that response, particularly in the context of how media bias is attempting to influence opinions of the weak minded. (I know what you’re thinking, what about Fox. In the grand scheme, Fox is only a thimble full, but the combined power of the other media outlets is like drinking the Big Gulp of bias Kool-Aid. )

Let’s use the same exchange, but insert Hillary Clinton as Luke and the biased media as Ben. Use the same words and see how the message changes. Scary, huh? We are supposed to be the weak minded Storm Troopers, and to some degree, the bias Force has worked. And it’s shameful. What ever happened to journalistic integrity? Remember how well respected the Woodward and Bernstein team was – and still are – for their investigative journalistic pursuit of political corruption? Where is that now? Heck, the Nixon tapes were just a freckle compared to the malignant melanoma of political corruption we are now witnessing in the Clinton camp. And you are just turning a blind eye! Why?

Are you afraid of losing your job? Is it political ideology? Maybe you just want to be like Obi-wan Kenobi and test your skills on the weak-minded populous.

For many years, it has been obvious to anyone in America that the press has a liberal, left leaning agenda. OK, we get it – and have accepted that for a long time. But this, my friends, is getting ridiculous.

An editorial if fine as long as it is labeled as such. But when a simple ‘who-what-where-when’ story is written with ANY bias – intended or not- it becomes an op-ed and should come with a warning. Otherwise, it is being written not to deliver facts but to influence the opinions of the masses.

And what makes matters worse is when facts – or entire stories- are omitted so as not to make a certain candidate look bad. You have made it so blatantly obvious, that the weak-minded populous that you are trying to influence has finally found a bad taste in your cooking and are starting to take notice. I don’t even need to mention the omissions of recent Hillary transgressions to make my point, because we all know what they are.

The Clinton camp erases a plethora of information, and only Fox raises an eyebrow. Come on, we’ve watched enough CSI shows to know that only guilty people bleach the crime scene. Why else waist the time? And if the Bush’s were ever accused of pay-for-play, you would have been on it like flies on hot manure! There used to be a time when good journalists would ask why and go look for it buried in the story somewhere. But, because of your political ideology or whatever agenda you are pushing, you are either bad at what you do or complicit in the cover up yourself.

The power of the press is mightier than the sword and people must trust the press in a democracy. It is the strongest counter to a government that has run-amok. The journalistic integrity is paramount, otherwise the power is greatly diminished in the perceived loss of trust.

The one word missing lately is ‘integrity’. I think many of you have lost its meaning. Go look it up online and then in the mirror to see if the adjective matches what’s looking back at you. For our sake, I hope it does.

Transgender U.S. Air Force Airmen Can Now Skip Physical Fitness Tests

Transgender airmen who are “transitioning” are now allowed to skip their physical fitness tests. Secretary of the Air Force Deborah James made it so by releasing the new “Air Force Policy Memorandum for In-Service Transition for Airmen Identifying as Transgender,” on October 6th.

Transgender Airmen who are in the middle of hormone treatment can ask to skip their physical fitness tests “during their period of transition, prior to a gender marker change in the MilPDS,” if they have already failed a test.

Deborah James said in a statement, “This is another step in allowing transgender Airmen to serve openly, receive medical care relating to gender transition and allow transgender individuals to join the Air Force…Our strengths as a military are the quality and character of our people, and those things that make us unique are the same things that make us strong.”

If a transgender person does fail a fitness test as the gender they are transitioning from then the Airman’s commander must certify that the transgender person “tried to the best of their ability to meet the standards associated with their current gender” that they are transitioning away from.

Air Force headquarters to make a decision based on the Commander’s letter.

Trump Proposes Government Ethics Reforms: 'It Is Time to Drain the Swamp in Washington, D.C.'

Donald Trump proposed a package of ethics reforms at his campaign rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Monday night after he criticized his opponent Hillary Clinton and the investigation into her use of a private email server.

“If we let the Clinton Cartel run this government, history will record that 2017 was the year America lost its independence. We will not let that happen,” the Republican nominee stated to more than 2,000 supporters at the campaign rally. “It is time to drain the swamp in Washington, D.C. That is why I am proposing a package of ethics reforms to make our government honest once again.”

Trump detailed five ethics reform proposals that he would issue if elected president:

I am going to re-institute a 5-year ban on all executive branch officials lobbying the government for 5 years after they leave government service. I am going to ask Congress to pass this ban into law so that it cannot be lifted by executive order.

I am going to ask Congress to institute its own 5-year ban on lobbying by former members of Congress and their staffs.

I am going to expand the definition of lobbyist so we close all the loopholes that former government officials use by labeling themselves consultants and advisors when we all know they are lobbyists.

I am going to issue a lifetime ban against senior executive branch officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government.

I am going to ask Congress to pass a campaign finance reform that prevents registered foreign lobbyists from raising money in American elections.

Trump also called for Under-Secretary of State Patrick Kennedy to resign after news broke that Kennedy was involved in a quid pro quo conversation regarding the classification of Clinton’s emails.

The U.S. Media Has Fully Weaponized – A Remarkable Thing To Witness…

There are literally a hundred current stories/issues which, under normal non-corrupt circumstances, would be top headlines

The U.S. media has crossed the Rubicon into a world of abject nuttery. It’s one thing to predict it happening, it is quite another to bear witness.

There are literally a hundred current stories/issues which, under normal non-corrupt circumstances, would be top headlines. Instead the media hides the most jaw-dropping governmental corruption revelations, and choose to focus on the ridiculous.

On one hand, looking at the geography, there’s a sense that eventually they are going to have to cover stories like WikiLeaks, Project Veritas investigative series, or the now openly transparent corrupt leadership influence of the FBI.

I wonder how many people could have been fed

Tom Nicholson

A guy looked at my Corvette the other day and said I wonder how many people could have been fed for the money that sports car cost.

I replied I am not sure, it fed a lot of families in Bowling Green, Kentucky who built it, it fed the people who make the tires, it fed the people who made the components that went into it, it fed the people in the copper mine who mined the copper for the wires, it fed people in Decatur IL. at Caterpillar who make the trucks that haul the copper ore. It fed the trucking people who hauled it from the plant to the dealer and fed the people working at the dealership and their families. BUT,... I have to admit, I guess I really don't know how many people it fed.

That is the difference between capitalism and welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people's pockets, and give them dignity for their skills.

When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self worth.

Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value.

Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for.

I've decided I can't be politically correct anymore. (I never was, actually)

FBI Agents Say Comey ‘Stood In The Way’ Of Clinton Email Investigation

“This is a textbook case where a grand jury should have been convened, but was not. That is appalling."

FBI agents say the bureau is alarmed over Director James Comey’s decision to not suggest that the Justice Department prosecute Hillary Clinton over her mishandling of classified information.

According to an interview transcript given to The Daily Caller, provided by an intermediary who spoke to two federal agents with the bureau last Friday, agents are frustrated by Comey’s leadership.

“This is a textbook case where a grand jury should have been convened, but was not. That is appalling,” an FBI special agent who has worked public corruption and criminal cases said of the decision. “We talk about it in the office and don’t know how Comey can keep going.”

The agent was also surprised that the bureau did not bother to search Clinton’s house during the investigation.

Clinton Meltdown At Surprise Question - Vulgar Screams, Thrown Water

Bill Still received some information overnight that point out the serious character defects or total lack thereof on the part of the Democrat candidate for president. Hillary Clinton exhibited rage towards the moderator at the Commander-in-Chief Forum, Matt Lauer, for doing in one instance what he should have done for the entire thirty minutes, asking her and pressing her on a question that she hadn’t been fed in advance. She was supposed to go out, recite responses that were well rehearsed and wait for Trump to be caught off guard. Instead it was she who got the surprise and that triggered a rage that we’ve rumors of. Now a firsthand accounting of what happened was sent to Bill Still, and he’s sharing it with America.

The source of his information originated at a Comcast email address, the parent company of NBC. It is supposedly from members of the technical crew that worked the event and describes what happened moments after Clinton walked off the set. They described “a massive profanity-laced tirade” on the part of Clinton that was directed at Matt Lauer in particular, but had moments for others, including DNC Chairperson Donna Brazile.

As he learned, Clinton had been given all of the questions in advance but was tripped up by Lauer asking her something she hadn’t been given, throwing her completely off her game and script. The topic was a tricky one for Clinton, her use of an illegal home server for the storing, receiving and transmitting of government secret documents. One of those working the event for Comcast described her as visibly beginning to boil with the asking of that question.
