July 14, 2016 (Salisbury, MD) A cooling center will be opened at the Wicomico County Civic Center on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Wicomico County Civic Center is located at 500 Glen Avenue Salisbury, MD 21804. No pets are permitted. Residents will need to bring their own food, beverages and medications. Anyone needing transportation to the Civic Center should call Shore Transit at: 443-260-2300 (select "Dispatch" option).
MAC Inc., Senior Center will also be open until 5 p.m. as a cooling center option for seniors only. MAC is located at 909 Progress Circle, Salisbury, MD 21804.

Court hearing on Capitol lockdown disrupted; ABC7 crew hassled during live report
Ford was reporting on the disruption in the courtroom after the judge ruled that the suspects would be held. Some of the people who were called out by the judge later walked behind Ford as he was reporting and came back to interrupt his broadcast, one pushing the camera.
Ford continued his live report as he readjusted the camera.

Clinton legal team moves to block deposition in email lawsuit
Lawyers for Hillary Clinton are going to federal court for the first time to block efforts to force her to testify in a civil lawsuit related to her private email set-up.
Clinton's attorneys submitted a legal filing Tuesday morning in a bid to shut down a conservative group's request for an order forcing her to submit to a deposition in the midst of her presidential campaign.
Clinton’s legal team said her testimony was unnecessary and superfluous in light of her questioning before the House Benghazi Committee last October and several State Department inquiries into the issue.
“Despite this public testimony and the various investigative reports, Judicial Watch claims that it needs to depose Secretary Clinton, a former Cabinet Secretary, about six purportedly unanswered questions," the filing states. "The record, however, already answers those questions or makes clear that Secretary Clinton has no personal knowledge to provide.”

Transgender Caught Taking Photos In Target Dressing Room
Sean Patrick Smith, 46, who also goes by Shauna Patricia Smith, was booked into the Bonneville County Jail on one felony count of voyeurism.
Bonneville County Sgt. Bryan Lovell says deputies were called to a disturbance at Target on 25th East just after 5 p.m. Monday.
A woman told them a man, dressed in women’s clothing, had entered a fitting room in the women’s clothing section of the store. Deputies say the suspect was seen taking photos of a woman in a stall next to him while she was changing.
“The woman was begging for help as she chased the man out the door,” a witness inside the store, who asked not to be named, tells EastIdahoNews.com. “She kept saying she wanted those pictures deleted.”

Dirt bikes stolen across Maryland
Dirt bikes worth thousands of dollars are being stolen across Maryland, some turning up on Baltimore City streets.
The popularity of dirt bikes is also fueling theft. Bike owners worry thieves are becoming bolder and more aggressive. Motocross champion John Kernan, of Montgomery County, had two of his dirtbikes, which were worth $25,000, stolen from his home.
"It was well executed," Kernan said.
Devastated, he almost quit the sport he enjoys.
Protecting her family's safety, a Frederick County woman, who asked to remain anonymous, said thieves broke into a locked barn and took four dirt bikes.
"There's definitely some organization to the crime," she said. "It has definitely made us more fearful. It has also been scary."
Chaining and locking down the bikes doesn't stop the crime.
"I did everything you're supposed to do and then some. The garage was locked, the bikes were locked together, the bikes have locks so you can't roll them, and they're still gone," Kernan said.
Not even Baltimore is immune as thieves have targeted a city impound lot several times and successfully stole some bikes. The latest incident on May 24 was captured by security cameras. Ten people broke in to a dirt bike pen. Six of them were arrested.
"This guy here, he grabs this bike and drives it out of the yard," Baltimore City Department of Transportation Towing Division Chief Charles Baker said, referring to surveillance video.
Three other bikes were also taken from a lot where police store bikes that were confiscated for illegal riding.
Baker said an unarmed security guard tried to stop the thefts.
"The young adult lifted his shirt and showed a gun. The security officer backed off," Baker said.
