Billy Graham: ‘The Days of Noah Are Returning to the Earth’

Observing the “gross sin and wickedness” in the world, evangelist Billy Graham drew a parallel with today’s society and “the days of Noah,” when the “great Day of Judgment draws ever nearer,” and a “catastrophe as great and terrible” as the flood awaits those who refuse “to enter the ark of salvation.”

“The days of Noah are returning to the Earth, and a catastrophe as great and terrible awaits those who refuse to enter into the ark of salvation, which is Jesus Christ,” said Rev. Graham in a commentary in the May edition of Decision magazine, which is published by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA).

“The Bible many times warns that toward the end of history as we know it, there will be a return to pre-flood conditions of gross sin and wickedness,” says Dr. Graham. “The Scripture says concerning the people of Noah’s day, ‘Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually’ (Genesis 6:5).”

He then notes that in Matthew 24, Christ warned, “As the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”

“As the great Day of Judgment draws ever nearer, we see these very things happening about us,” says the 97-year-old Graham.

“It would seem,” he continues, “that we were reading from an article in a modern magazine as we read Paul’s word to Timothy, ‘But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”

Despite Thunderbirds Crash, OC Air Show Is Still On

Despite the indefinite grounding of the Thunderbirds, organizers for the Ocean City Air Show are still moving forward regardless of whether the U.S. Air Force squad will be there.

A number of upcoming Thunderbirds performances have either been canceled or thrown into doubt following Thursday's crash in a field outside Petersen Air Force Base in Colorado. The June 18 and 19 Ocean City show is one of a number of performances that could be affected by the indefinite stand down while the investigation continues.

In an unrelated incident, U.S. Navy Blue Angels pilot Capt. Jeff Kuss died in a Tennessee crash. He narrated every performance last year, including the team's inaugural appearance at the Ocean City Air Show.

Joint Investigation - DSP and DOJ Charged 13 in Operation “Duck Hunt”

Delaware - On Monday May 23, 2016, at 1:00 a.m., Sohail Zeeshan, 39 of Rehoboth Beach, was apprehended by Customs and Border Protection as he attempted to re-enter the United States by bus at the Canadian Border, with the assistance of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations Unit (HSI). Sohail Zeeshan was then turned over to the Buffalo City Police Department by Customs and Border protection and extradited back to Delaware on Wednesday June 01, 2016.

Sohail Zeeshan was charged with Organized Crime and Racketeering, Two counts of Fraud and False Statements, two counts of Knowingly Engaging in Transactions with Proceeds of Criminal Activity and seven Counts of Money Laundering. He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Center in default of $75,000.00 cash bond.

Today, Friday, June 03, 2016, at 1:30 p.m., Linda Mcglotten, 49 of Milford, turned herself in at Justice of the Peace Court 3 in Georgetown. She was charged with Racketeering three counts of Money Laundering. Mcglotten was arraigned and committed to the Sussex Correctional Center in default of $75,000.00 cash bond.

The following suspects were indicted by the Sussex County Grand Jury in connection with this investigation and have NOT been located at this time;

Reginald Mcglotten, 30 of Millsboro
Obrien Morris, 26 of Millsboro
Luis Manzanet-Garlaza, 27 of Milford

Democrats on FEC vote to regulate political jokes

Over mocking objections from their own staff, two top Democrats on the politically divided Federal Election Commission voted to investigate one-time Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee for joking that he hoped supporters would shower him with million dollar contributions.

In the latest display of FEC Democratic efforts to regulate speech and target Republicans, Commissioners Ann Ravel and Ellen Weintraub backed a complaint against Huckabee, who made the joke during his May 2015 presidential candidacy announcement.

He later told the FEC it was a joke, and the FEC staff report on the issue noted that Huckabee even changed his demeanor when he said it to reinforce that he wasn't serious.

"We conclude that an objective listener would not reasonably have understood that Huckabee in fact solicited million-dollar contributions. Rather, he appeared, to be making a humorous aside in the course of his speech," said the just released staff report that recommended that a complaint against the former Arkansas governor be dismissed.

But when the vote — also just released — was taken, Ravel and Weintraub balked. All three Republicans and the third Democrat on the FEC voted to dismiss the complaint.

Muhammad Ali Dies: 'The Greatest' Boxer Dead at 74

Three-time heavyweight champ Muhammad Ali, who charmed millions with his wit and confidence in the ring and inspired many more with his commitment to humanitarian causes died Friday, the family's spokesman said. He was 74.

"After a 32-year battle with Parkinson’s disease, Muhammad Ali has passed away at the age of 74. The three-time World Heavyweight Champion boxer died this evening,” said family spokesperson Bob Gunnell.

Ali’s funeral will take place in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, Gunnell said in the statement, adding "the Ali family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and support and asks for privacy at this time."

Ali had been hospitalized in the Phoenix area -- where he passed away -- for a respiratory issue June 2. At the time, a rep said he was in fair condition.

Monica Nezzer, 22, is a full-time student studying psychology and biology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She describes herself as "fortunate." But in addition to a full course load, she's working about 30 hours a week as a campus tour guide and recruitment specialist.

United Airlines said on Thursday that it will undergo a major overhaul of its international-business and first-class offerings. At the heart of this undertaking is the airline's new Polaris Business Class. According to the airline, Polaris signals a fundamental shift and rebranding of the airline's international premium-cabin products.

"This completely reconceived experience exemplifies the new spirit of United and the innovation, excitement and operational momentum across our airline," United Airlines' president and CEO, Oscar Munoz, said in a statement.

That experience begins with the airline's new Polaris Lounge at airports around the world and continues with new seats, menus, and amenities on board the flights.

With rivals from the Middle East and the Pacific Rim setting the new benchmark for in-flight service and luxury, US airlines have been forced to step up their game significantly to compete for lucrative business- and first-class passengers. In recent years, Delta and American have implemented significant upgrades to their premium-cabin offerings. Now, United is jumping into the fray.

According to a United Airlines representative, the first Polaris Lounge opens in Chicago on December 1. Flights featuring the Polaris Business Class product will commence in early 2017 on board United's new Boeing 777-300ER jets.
