Today is our friend Bull Diesel, (aka Aaron Hudson) 35th Birthday and he'll be celebrating it on the job. Bull is well known and well respected as a veteran cop of 16 years with the City of Salisbury. So if you see Big Bull, make sure you wish him a Happy Birthday. Then tell him Joe Albero said "You're Number One." LOL

Our friend buryvoter sent me this picture just moments ago. The ring you see around the moon is not a reflection in the lens. If you go outside right now and take a look at the moon you will see this circle surrounding the moon. It's pretty cool. Some say that is a sign it will snow?

Lowes Looks Like Crap!

We wouldn't line our own properties with the crap fencing lumber Lowes sells so why as a community would we let them line their Garden Center with it?

I truly don't get it Folks, it really does look like crap and every time we turn around this company is breaking the rules, building structures on their property without permits. I hope Tom Stevenson gets out there REAL soon before they secure this fence and tell them to get it the hell out of there.

Imagine what it's going to look like in 2 years. Crap lumber, crap manufacturing, warping wood everywhere and then graffiti sprayed all over it. Yeah, this is going to look great over time!

The Salisbury Plaza, "The Best Place In Town To Take A Leak."

Our friend "Duffy" was laying down calcium to melt all the ice created by this leak in one of the fountains yesterday. Being very observant, Duffy noticed water around the base of this fountain while driving past it. He called in for additional help because he couldn't figure out how to turn off the water valve, (not his area).

After pulling away however, I realized there was a plastic bag covering the drain pipe and I simply removed it and the fountain drained back to normal and things were once again back to normal.

HOWEVER! What I did realize based on this occurring is that these fountains are set up JUST LIKE THE SALISBURY ZOO'S!

You the taxpayers and property owners are in FACT paying for water to run 24/7 into these ponds! That's right folks, the water comes in and it instantly drains right into the sewer lines and is COMPLETELY WASTED 24/7!

Since these guys are out there every day of the week, it's not like they can't open a drain and fill these ponds up, should they drop slightly in one day. Instead, they've made them maintenance free by filling them up and draining the water right out.

This has got to be one of the biggest waste's of water, no different from every pool, (and there's lots of them) in the Salisbury Zoo! Each and every one of you are paying for this waste and the City couldn't care less.

I can't wait to see a new Council!

Plaza Parking Is Way Out Of Control!

I was only on the Plaza for a short time today but was amazed at just how many people couldn't care less where the legal parking is. I had one lady give me a bunch of crap because I couldn't get past her, (4th picture down) because she kept slowly pulling forward till it got so tight no one could pass her. She rolled down her window and started going off. You guys know me, I smiled and said, May God Bless you Mam, Have a nice day. NOT! You're Number One!

All of a sudden out of nowhere, the extra large dumpster that had been located behind the old Theater and next door to Jimmy's Grille is completely gone!

My guess is that it was illegally parked on property not owned by Jimmy and once the Health Department got involved and found out this was not in fact their property they had it removed. Mind you, it's just a guess.

However, what will Jimmy do now? It was bad enough they were overflowing their trash regularly but now they have no place to put it. Will Jimmy be making daily runs to the Dump? What will the local rats do now? Perhaps they'll have to lick up all that grease on the ground behind Flavors of Italy?

Breaking News!!!!!

There is a buzzing rumor going around that Doris Schonbrunner is now THIRD in charge of the County. She was supposedly voted in yesterday as the new assistant county administrator.

You haven't read this anywhere else Folks and as I called James V. Fineran this morning to confirm, his only response was, "NO COMMENT."

IMO, good for Doris! Let's just hope she can separate her feelings towards the Sheriffs Department while the Citizens can be proud and happy she has found her new place right here at home? If it is in fact true, welcome back Doris.

There's NO Security At The Old Salisbury Mall!

Although the City requested that the Old Mall Owners secure the property better, they couldn't care less and nor could the City.

Two days ago concerned citizens call everyone involved with the Old Mall to inform them that it was not secured at all and that vandals tore down the security fencing around the entire Mall and nothing has been done about it.

Now IF the Old Mall Owners actually had someone there full time, as they claim, why has this fencing been down for days on end? I haven't read a report about vandals and destruction of property on the Salisbury Police Departments Website for the Old Mall?

Well, now that the photos are up the City will finally do something about it. They obviously don't have someone policing the entire community to see what's new on a daily basis and you'll never see this kind of stuff in The Daily Times. Why, because they're more interested in Associates Press information from around the Country than to tell and share actual news and information local to those paying for the information and keeping them in business.

Where Did You Sleep Last Night?

Something needs to be done about the homeless in Salisbury. These photos were taken behind the Old Mall but don't go blaming or pointing a finger at the Old Mall Owners because this may not be their property anyway.

Nevertheless, there's a village back there in the woods that needs some attention and with the temperatures as low as they are in the past few nights, it must be very difficult on these people.

Fertilizer For Our Bay Shuts Their Blog Down!

This morning brings a cluster of frustration as Delmarva Dealings is completely shut down, (possibly for 48 hours) due to server errors.

Then, SRR, Seweromico River Rat couldn't take the heat yesterday so he cut off any and all comments because the truth was getting too close to home and his fear of being outted as to who his actual identity is came to a reality and he shut down.

This particular Blog Site was loaded with half naked women in which he was stealing photos from other Blog Sites and using them as if all these beautiful women were actual clients of his on his fishing boat.

Not long ago I confronted him on the fact that I had found the website that was in fact hosting all the photos he was producing and I could quickly see that he was using them for his own pleasure. I posted the website, (if you'll recall) and he became very upset that I had exposed the truth and ruined his fun.

With no more photos to steal he went into a spin on pointless information on his Blog with no local news and nothing more than a personal diary, as we see all too often on these local Blogs. Even I'll pull it every so often and share something personal but certainly not every day for weeks on end.

Anyhow, because he's gone, I'll keep my mouth shut as to HIS identity and sincerely respect his good decision to close down a site that was simply wasting space. I'm sure he'll continue commenting and based on the fact that his site is gone, I'll treat him like a gentleman.

Local Police Are Taking Back The Streets!

Last night the Salisbury Police Department, Sheriffs Department and a special drug task force team raided a home on 802 Shoemaker Drive and seized some $30,000.00 worth of heroine. The following information comes directly from the SPD Website.

The Mayor Interrupts Again And Coaches Council During Council Meeting.

Right smack dab in the middle of the City Council Meeting the Mayor got up, (once again) and walked over the legal council and started coaching her. It is impossible for the legal council to concentrate on what is going on when the Mayor picks her timing well and makes sure they don't hear what's going on.

She's so slick, isn't she?

The MDE Is Back Investigating The WWTP!

I have received confirmation that the MDE is back at the WWTP investigating recent allegations that there was a serious accident there again last Saturday.

Mr. Dave Pushkar has been in contact with me referencing this matter and is concerned that they were not contacted about the problem.
