Nearly 20 percent of millennials, Gen Z in NY believe Jews caused the Holocaust: survey

Nearly 20 percent of millennials and Gen Z in New York believe Jews caused the Holocaust, according to a new survey released Wednesday.

The findings come from the first-ever 50-state survey on the Holocaust knowledge of American millennials and Gen Z, which was commissioned by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

For instance, although there were more than 40,000 camps and ghettos during World War II, 58 percent of respondents in New York cannot name a single one.

Additionally, 60 percent of respondents in New York do not know that 6 million Jews were killed during the Holocaust.

“The results are both shocking and saddening and they underscore why we must act now while Holocaust survivors are still with us to voice their stories,” said Gideon Taylor, president of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Over 400 Michigan overseas ballots printed with wrong Trump running mate

President Trump and … “Spike” 2020?!

More than 400 military and oversees ballots in Michigan had the wrong running mate for President Trump when they were downloaded from a state database on Tuesday.

Instead of Vice President Mike Pence, the ballots listed Jeremy Cohen, the Libertarian Party VP candidate, whose nickname is “Spike.”

The “temporary error” was fixed within 90 minutes on Tuesday, said Tracy Wimmer, a spokeswoman for Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.

But it’s not clear how many of the ballots were actually mailed out to voters before the glitch was caught.

Forget him’: Pelosi defends not speaking to Trump for almost a year

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi defended how she has handled her relationship with President Trump — after it was pointed out that the two leaders haven’t spoken in almost a year amid mounting crises.

Speaking to MSNBC’s Craig Melvin on Monday, Pelosi (D-Calif.) faced pushback after repeatedly saying “Forget him” while answering a question about countering the commander-in-chief’s rhetoric and narrative.

Melvin noted to the nation’s highest elected Democrat that, “with all due respect, you just said, ‘Forget him.'”

“Yeah, forget him,” she responded.

The MSNBC host then asked if she and the president had “just stopped talking? Is that where we are?”

“You haven’t talked to him about the wildfires, I get the impression you probably haven’t talked to him about the coronavirus relief bill.”

Pelosi and Trump have not spoken since the House speaker got up and walked out of a heated White House meeting in October 2019.

Thousands of North Carolina residents incorrectly told they had coronavirus

Thousands of North Carolina residents were recently told they had positive coronavirus tests, but it was a mistake.

More than 6,700 individuals in Mecklenburg County in North Carolina were told in a text message sent from Mecklenburg County Health Department on Friday that they tested positive for COVID-19 and over 500 people were told through a county email that they were also infected with the novel coronavirus. But the results were incorrect due to a technical error by Health Space, the company they use for contact tracing, according to a statement on the county’s website.

“An error during routine maintenance last Friday resulted in a county data vendor sending erroneous texts and email messages to people saying they were positive for COVID-19," the statement on the county website said.

Moderate Democrats pressure Pelosi, House leadership to move new coronavirus bill: 'Stop the stupidity'

Moderate Democrats, especially those in swing districts, have been pressuring House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to pass another coronavirus relief bill, signaling that blaming the Senate Republicans and the White House for the inaction isn't flying back home with their constituents who need help.

One of the boldest efforts of revolt came Tuesday when the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus revealed their $1.5 trillion coronavirus relief plan, with 25 Democrats breaking with their leadership and joining 25 Republicans on a compromise plan.

Rep. Max Rose, D-N.Y., was among the backers of the plan and said his frustration with leadership's failure to make a deal pales in comparison to the frustration of his constituents needing help. It's been four months since the House passed its $3 trillion HEROES Act -- which died in the GOP-led Senate -- and now Rose and fellow frontline Democrats have been urging House leadership to put another bill on the floor that could actually become law.

Trump campaign asks Twitter to mark Biden coronavirus ad as manipulated media, but company refuses

The Trump campaign on Tuesday asked Twitter to label a video posted by Joe Biden's campaign as manipulated media over a clip that they say takes President Trump's words out of context and has been repeatedly fact-checked as incorrect manipulation, but the company declined to do so, according to emails obtained by Fox News.

The video purports to contrast what Trump says in public versus in private on the coronavirus, accusing him of lying to the public. One of the examples of Trump's public comments in the video is from a Feb. 28 campaign rally at which Trump appears to be calling the coronavirus a hoax.

"The coronavirus, and this is their new hoax," Trump is heard saying in the Biden video.

The splicing is identical to how the Biden campaign cut a video of the Feb. 28 address in a March video that got four Pinnochios from the Washington Post, and was panned by several other fact-checkers.

DOJ charges Chinese citizens in 'unprecedented' global hacking campaign

The Department of Justice on Wednesday announced that it had charged five Chinese citizens allegedly involved in an “unprecedented” hacking campaign that involved the theft of code, customer data and valuable business data and affected more than 100 companies and institutions across the globe.

“The scope and sophistication of the crimes in these unsealed indictments is unprecedented,” Michael R. Sherwin, acting U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, said in a statement announcing the charges.

Two businessmen in Malaysia were also accused of conspiring with the alleged hackers to profit on attacks on video game companies. The DOJ said the scheme involved hackers in both China and Malaysia and included the targeting and use of gaming platforms to defraud companies.

Officials said Beijing had turned a blind eye to the alleged criminal activity by its citizens as long as the perpetrators didn’t target Chinese companies.

Last month, White House national security adviser Robert O’Brien said Chinese government-linked hackers have been targeting U.S. election infrastructure before the November election. China has denied claims that it hacked U.S. government agencies.

Nevada company that hosted indoor Trump rally fined $3,000

The city of Henderson, Nev., has issued a $3,000 fine to a local manufacturing company for hosting a Trump 2020 rally on Sunday in violation of state coronavirus safety guidelines.

Nevada Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak extended a statewide rule — Directive 021, Section 10 — in July limiting social gatherings to no more than 50 people.

Richards added that during the rally, "a compliance officer observed six violations of the directives and the City’s Business Operations Division has issued a Business License Notice of Violation to Xtreme Manufacturing and assessed a penalty of $3,000."

Xtreme owner Dan Ahern said in a Monday statement that he is a "proud American," who believes it is his "patriotic duty to do what is right for our country, and what is right is supporting our great President, Donald J. Trump."

"The decisions we make and actions we take are always with specific goals in mind. My goal was to continue the great American traditions of the right to assemble and to free speech, which is no different than the thousands that are allowed to assemble at gaming tables, mask-less pool parties, and protests across the state," Ahern said.

Another Craigslist auto sale turns deadly

The disappearance of a North Carolina man whose vehicle was found in Virginia this week is being investigated as a homicide, according to media reports.

The Raleigh Police Department suspects foul play is involved in the disappearance of Andy Banks, 39, of Raleigh, who was last seen Saturday when he told friends he was going to show an SUV he was selling.

The 2011 silver Range Rover was found Monday in Danville, Va. Authorities arrested Justin Fernando Merritt, 34, on Tuesday, accusing him of stealing the vehicle.

He faces charges of robbery, car theft and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Banks posted a Craigslist ad to sell the car and told friends he was meeting a potential buyer over the weekend.

Banks has still not been found.

Merritt used a gun to threaten Banks and steal the SUV, according to court documents obtained by WTVD-TV. No charges have been filed against Merritt in connection to a homicide.

Anti-mask protesters march through Florida Target, yell: 'Take off your mask!'

A group of anti-mask protesters marched through a Florida Target this week calling for customers to take off their masks despite an increasing number of COVID-19 cases hitting the state.

In a video that surfaced on Twitter on Tuesday, a group of protesters, including some younger people, can be seen walking through store aisles, blasting music -- specifically Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It" -- and urging shoppers to disregard health recommendations that were implemented to help prevent the spread of the virus.

The group chanted "take off your mask," "we're not gonna take it anymore" as well as "yeah, we got one" as they headed down the store aisle.

"We’re aware of the group of guests who came into the store last night and we asked them to leave after they removed their masks and became disruptive and rude to other shoppers," a Target spokesperson told FOX Business.

Milwaukee Trump Supporter Arrested for Brandishing a Gun at Black Lives Matter Mob That Was Surrounding His Home

A Milwaukee man was arrested after pulling a gun on a mob of Black Lives Matter supporters who were surrounding his home for several hours.

Members of the mob claimed on social media that their actions were justified because he is a “racist” and has a confederate flag. The flag was not seen in the videos, but an American and Trump flag were hanging prominently on the front of his home.

In livestream footage of the incident, the mob is clearly seen stepping on to the man’s property.

After the mob was outside his home for more than two hours, police arrived. As they entered the man’s property, the rioters cheered for police and called for the man’s arrest, yelling about how he had a weapon.

When the man was taken outside, seemingly in cuffs, the crowd went wild.

The militant leftists were threatening the man saying that he was going to have big problems if he dared to step outside.

As they threatened him, shined lights into his home, and pranced all over his property, he pointed a shotgun out the window.

It does not appear that any members of the mob have been arrested.

Romney slams Burisma, Hunter Biden probe as 'political exercise'

GOP Sen. Mitt Romney on Wednesday slammed the Senate Homeland Security Committee’s investigation into Hunter Biden’s role on the board of Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings, saying it is “not the legitimate role of government” to work to “damage political opponents.”

During a committee meeting Wednesday, members voted to authorize a slew of subpoenas for testimony and records from former Obama administration officials, including former CIA Director John Brennan, former FBI Director James Comey, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, as part of its investigation into the origins of the Russia probe.

The panel is also leading an investigation into potential conflicts of interest related to Burisma and Hunter Biden.

But Romney, R-Utah, suggested the committee, led by Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., was using its probe in an effort to “damage” political opponents.

TRUE PATRIOTISM… Mike Ditka to NFL Kneelers: “If You Can’t Respect this Country – Get the Hell Out of It”

Mike Ditka blasted the America-haters in the NFL this week.

Ditka had a message for the the National Anthem kneelers — “If you can’t respect this country get the hell out of it.”

The Chicago Bears legend and NFL Hall of Famer has said in the past he opposes players kneeling for the national anthem. Now again, following the start of the 2020 season, Ditka voiced his displeasure with the protest. Football’s football. It’s not a complicated thing. You’re playing the game, you’re enjoying the game. You don’t like the game, get out of it. It’s not for protesting one way or the other. What color you are, what you think, this or that. You play football. That’s it. You’re privileged. You got a gift from God that you can play the game because you got a body you can do it with. I don’t really understand what you’re protesting. I played the game. I coached the game for a long time. It makes no sense to me.”

He continued: “I would tell those players go to another country and play football there. You don’t have to come out. You don’t have to come out if you go to another country. You can’t! Because the game’s only played in this country. And if you can’t respect this country, get the hell out of it.”

Disgraced Sex Offender & Former Rep Anthony Weiner Reveals Himself Yet Again, This Time With A New Hat, as A CEO

Disgraced former Representative Anthony Weiner (D-NY) has reportedly found himself a brand new job as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a countertop company.

On Monday, the New York Post reported that Weiner, who is a convicted sex offender and serial sexter (someone who sends texts about sex that could include compromising pictures), is “trying to rebuild his shattered life by running a company that makes countertops out of broken glass.”

The Post advised that “Weiner appears to have found the perfect employer in IceStone, which says its ‘commitment to second chances goes beyond our factory and our products.’

The disgraced Democrat was caught in 2016 “sexting and sending lewd pictures of himself to a 15-year-old girl.” Weiner then served 16 months in federal prison for the crime.
Weiner’s wife, Huma Abedin, a longtime Hillary Clinton top aide, filed for divorce after he was released from prison, but then later withdrew the petition.

Sheriff in Pennsylvania switches to GOP, says 'Democratic Party has left me'

Westmoreland County Sheriff James Albert declared on Monday that he felt disenfranchised with the Democratic Party and was changing his affiliation to the Republican Party.

“As a lifelong public servant and member of law enforcement, I have not left the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party has left me,” Albert, 70, said, according to Trib Live.

“It was a really difficult decision and I’ve thought long and hard about it, but I feel I stand for the ideals of the Republican Party platform more than the Democrats today,” Albert said.

“I’ve been a lifelong Democrat, but a conservative Democrat at that,” he added. “I’m pro-life, a strong supporter of the Second Amendment, a lifetime member of the NRA (National Rifle Association) and, today, I feel my ideals are closer to the Republican Party than Democrats.”

Albert has spent more than 40 years in law enforcement, as a police officer, a county detective and a deputy sheriff before spending 26 years as a district judge. He was sworn in as county sheriff in 2019.
