Everyone is fighting a battle, be kind to your fellow man.
A great man and Officer. Prayers that he is at peace. All family, friends and fellow officers are in the prayers of my family and I. God bless and God Speed Bull!
Walk among the lions my friend. You will be missed. We spend so much time protecting others we forget to protect our brothers and sisters. The Brass will not do it you have to watch each other
Sad day for those in the area. RIP, Aaron. The plaza won't light up the same without you. I can only imagine what pain and suffering you were fighting.
Wow!! Saddens me.. he was one of the cool friendly and the best.. been around along time.. sending prayers to his family and the Salisbury police department.. he was always friendly and smiling..
Prayers and thoughts are with the family friends and his co-workers. As a retired firefighter I had the privilege to work with bull on calls what a outstanding person. What a great lost to our community god bless
Did not know him. How sad that he was so personable but no one picked up on his apparent depression . It happened to my friend's daughter. I know how hard it is to miss. Rest in peace Mr Bull.
I keep seeing everyone commenting that it was a suicide, but has there been an official statement from anyone or did everyone just jump to the conclusion based on the department statement on suicide help. Do you all realize the same statement is put up every time an officer dies to prevent fellow officers from sinking into a depression and committing suicide?
Prayers to the family during this sad and difficult time! No matter the reason, the Bury lost a nice guy!! Will miss seeing you at 3 rd Friday! God bless!
Bull was a huge part of OUR community (not only law enforcement). SPD saying we "lost him", leaves people confused. If you ask, "what happened to Bull?" you are labeled disrespectful. If SPD announces that they lost an officer, they should at least tell us how he was lost. I believe most people know, but if you are going to make it public don't leave people to speculate on what happened to their friend. I worked with him at the Salisbury Christmas parade and talked with him at numerous city events and it matters because he was a friend to ALL, not only Law Enforcement. Very sad, he seemed to me to be very good person who made many people smile.
Truly sad that Jake day acts so concerned and caring when in fact his personal agenda and ignorance probably had something to do with his demise. Speaks volumes on the city of Salisbury and the Salisbury police department if one of their own thought this was his only option
@1:18 the truth is the truth! I'm sure a big factor in Mr Hudson's choice was his job and the ongoing commitment by Jake Day to any and all frivolous events that boasted Day's ego. He forces city employees to participate and usually doesn't have the necessary volunteers support in place to ease the burden. Truthfully I thought it would have been the idiot Tom Stevenson the way that guy seems to be overwhelmed and emotionally incapable of being part of Jake Day's circus without massive amounts of anti-anxiexty/depression meds
This has nothing to do with the mayor, politics or anything else. Bull was a great policeman and person and he will be missed by all that knew him. Speculation of what happened or why is also irrelevant. What is important is that each of us are lessened by the loss of Bull. He served the public and protected citizens putting his life before person unknown to him on an daily basis. Good speed brother. We will see you in Valhalla.
Heart goes out to family and SPD. Worked with Bull when on so many occasions when ran security. Bull was one of the most sincere guys I know. This is a tragic lost to the community. R.I.P...Brother We Will Take It From Here
A person's occupation usually defines who they are. When one is battling depression the unnecessary stress that an idiot like Jake day as a boss creates can be the straw the breaks the camel's back. You can't keep taking and taking from people and treating them like crap and expect no repercussions. Forcing people to "accept" your views and desires and taking away their time away from the daily chaos is just poor management and poor people skills. The endless forcing of city employees to "volunteer" of their time with NO compensation is definitely a factor
As a former city police officer Jake Day's personal agenda and his and Duncan's city police department policies are the problem. Jake day forces his circus act on all city employees. When you take away a person's rights to accept or deny to participate you've crossed the line

The only ones who should put the cause out there is his family.

You don’t know what you would do until faced with the same situation, don’t judge
11:43 does have a point, but besides that, RIP Officer Bull, job well done!
